Maggie Sent on 07/19/2018Absolutely incredible! Renee sat with me to talk through my vision for our day and created stunning floral arrangements for us that fit our budget. My bouquet was just perfect - full of different textures and exactly what I wanted. The best part was the ceremony backdrop: The Flower Cupboard made a gorgeous piece to drape over a wooden cross that we rented from Homemade Bride. It was absolutely beautiful!
My favorite part about working with The Flower Cupboard was how accommodating they were. My parents are lesbian and divorced, so I have 2 moms and 2 stepmoms. Other florists I met with were baffled by my family and continually messed up the number of corsages and boutonnieres we needed. Renee didn't skip a beat when I explained my family to her, and she mentioned to me that she frequently does LGBT weddings. I would highly recommend The Flower Cupboard to anyone who is planning a wedding or any other kind of event!

Molly Sent on 03/26/2018The Flower Cupboard did the flowers for my wedding and they did an amazing job. The flowers were really a highlight of the day for me and my guests. To begin with, I came to The Flower Cupboard after having an awful experience with a larger flower chain in the triangle. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated with great attention and warmth. Renee did a consultation with me where we came up with the colorful floral scheme for my “Bollywood meets Bluegrass” wedding. Renee was extremely receptive to feedback and really listened to what I wanted, while offering alternatives that fit my budget. It was one of the best consolations I had with any of my wedding vendors. I wanted a bohemian style, colorful bouquet and Renee whipped a sample one up right in the shop for me and then let me take it home! The whole team was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and they helped me design a beautiful flower arbor for my ceremony. Day of, Renee showed up with GORGEOUS bouquets and centerpieces that made me the happiest bride ever. She pulled off the vision I had but way better. She even put blackberries in my bouquet!!! I am from the mountains of NC and that was sentimental to me and made the flowers so much more special. We got so many compliments on the flowers and they look amazing in the pictures. Thanks Flower Cupboard for making my wedding day great!

She works hard to understand exactly what you want in your flowers and certainly delivered for my wedding. She was even willing to help me with decor ideas!

Lindsay Sent on 10/13/2018We loved worked with Flower Cupboard in Cary for our wedding! From the initial consultation through the day of, they were personal, professional and creative. Flower Cupboard was great with our centerpieces – they worked within our budget to create small herb gardens and arrangements using natural greens and white tones. A highlight was when they gave us a sample bouquet, they went out and clipped some rosemary from the parking lot. They heard our ideas, and made it happen, just like that! Loved it, and would highly recommend the company.

Emily Sent on 01/19/2018Working with the flower cupboard was a great experience. They were able to meet with us several times before the wedding to develop a plan for beautifully decorating the venue. She worked with us on budget and I loved the bridal portrait bouquet she made. It would have been perfect if my wedding (I actually like it a lot more than my wedding day one).
I definitely recommend meeting in person instead of using email to ensure that you are on the same page with the florist (I wanted fewer flowers than were originally priced andthat took a little while to sort out). I would also be diligent about expressing things you don’t want. The arrangements were beautiful but they included red roses - I should have told her not to use any instead of just saying that I don’t like them. Also be prepared for the arrangements not to last very long. Again, my bridal portrait bouquet kept for over a week but the wedding flowers wilted within 48 hours post wedding.
All of that being said all of the flowers were beautiful. They fit well with the style of my wedding and really were the finishing touches that made all the difference. -
