Beautiful flowers, helpful staff

I got married in May of 2018 and chose the flower cart to help with the bouquets and floral arrangements. I went into the shop with an idea of what vibe I wanted, but I didn't have anything specific in mind.

I remember the staff being super helpful in putting together bouquets and centerpieces, and showing me what each flower might look like. They were very considerate of my budget and all around a pleasure to work with. They were very timely and professional to deliver the flowers. I would recommend the flower cart to anyone looking for a florist!

Beautiful flowers & fantastic staff!

We worked with Bianca for our wedding florals and had a fantastic experience. She did any amazing job at capturing my vision while still keeping everything within budget. The entire experience was truly seamless. Their team delivered bouquets and boutineers to our house, setup our beautiful archway and adorning flowers for the ceremony, and took care of every little detail from cake flowers, to centerpiece setup and more. Beautiful Flowers, patient and kind service

We were so happy with our New Year's Eve wedding flowers from the Flower Cart. Jamie was helpful and patient when I wasn't really sure what I was looking for, and gave me a couple pointers that helped guide me to my final selections. She was also willing to make changes to the contract as needed in the months leading up to our wedding. She got everything exactly right, from the beautiful organic looking bridal/bridesmaid bouquets, to the greenery perfectly placed on our huppah, the delicate florals and greens for our centerpieces and the simple and elegant flowers on our cake. It matched our venue (Mt. Washington Mill Dye House) perfectly. The Flower Cart was great service, great value and great flowers. Thank you!!

Gorgeous Flowers for an Incredible Price

The flowers provided by the Flower Cart were one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. We were planning a fall wedding and knew what color scheme we had in mind, however we had no idea about what particular flowers we wanted. Carolyn was able to suggest the perfect types of flowers and style of arrangements that perfectly captured what we had in mind. Even though real flower arrangements can be pricy, I knew I wanted to splurge on them and it was so perfect. We ended up getting an incredible deal. The floral arrangements really made the reception room come alive, and all the bouquets were gorgeous during the ceremony and the photos. I would definitely recommend the Flower Cart for anyone looking for beautiful and affordable flower arrangements for their event.

Jamie at The Flower Cart was amazing. I came in with a photo inspiration but no idea where to start with flowers. I was a little nervous not knowing how it would turn out but when they delivered our flowers on our wedding say I was speechless! Everything from our bouquets, flower girl baskets, and centerpieces were better than I imagined. I was literally sad to leave for the honeymoon and not get to enjoy the beautiful flowers we took home. The day of the wedding they delivered the flowers on time (early actually- even better) and the attention to detail of where to deliver specific flowers was completely correct. Jamie was super flexible to work with and was quick in emailing me back and changing a few things to get me exactly what I envisioned. I would recommend The Flower Cart to anybody else planning a wedding or event.

i came to the flower cart in august to discuss my nieces wedding flowers for september. i had an idea of what we needed according to my niece's wishes. the consultant was warm, pleasant, listened to my needs and gave me great suggestions. i would recommend the flower cart to anyone for any reason. during the consultation, i also needed flowers for a funeral and they accommodated immediately. thank you flower cart for you help, support and good business relationship.

I loved working with The Flower Cart! When I first walked in, I had an unclear vision of what I wanted for my bouquets and centerpieces. They helped my vision come to life with awesome recommendations for specific flowers that would work well together with my color scheme and budget. They also helped make recommendations about how to reduce the overall cost so it was a more affordable option for me. In total I had about 15 bouquets/centerpieces made and they were STUNNING! I also ordered fresh flowers for my hair and wedding cake. The hair flowers helped me feel elegant and whimsical on my special day, which is exactly the look that I wanted. Overall, I was so impressed with The Flower Cart and would definitely recommend them to Baltimore/surrounding area brides!

I would highly reccomend using The Flower Cart for your wedding! Jamie did such an amazing job producing exactly what I was looking for and was extremely flexible with a few last minute additions. I received so many compliments on all of the ceremony and reception florals, people were even asking to take the centerpieces home!

We had such a wonderful experience. In 2017 we ordered and paid for our flowers but unfortunately had to postpone our wedding. They refunded us and kept our information on file. 9 months later we came back they had everything from before. When we picked them up last Saturday they where beautiful. We had no idea that being a same-sex couple and looking for a florist was going to be close to impossible. Ranging from ridiculously quoted prices to florist that made us feel like we deeply offended them by our sexuality, Jaime at the Flower Cart was FAR from that. We felt extremely comfortable speaking with her and even with a few pictures and ideas thrown around, she was able to capture our vision perfectly! We could not stop staring and smiling with how fantastic and beautiful everything turned out. From the consultation to coordinating payments and deliveries, they made it extremely stress free for us. We loved and appreciated all their ideas especially the idea of toss bouquets!
I would highly recommend The Flower Cart all because of the professionalism, kindness, and beauty that they added to our wedding.

My husband and I only met with Jamie once during the wedding planning process and she absolutely nailed exactly what we wanted. I showed her a few pictures on Pinterest and on the day of the wedding, I was floored at how beautiful the flowers were. They were exactly what I had pictured and I couldn't have been happier. The flowers were so fresh that I was even able to preserve my bouquet while I was on my honeymoon so that I could come home and dry them to save them. Thank you for making my vision come to life!

We had a great experience working with Jamie! We do not live in Baltimore, so I felt a little lost when I started researching florists for our wedding. I am SO glad that we found The Flower Cart! Jamie helped to walk us through the planning process and did not make us feel overwhelmed with options. She totally understood my vision, and it showed when we walked into our venue on our wedding day. Plus, their prices totally worked with our budget. The Flower Cart was the perfect vendor. I am not very knowledgeable about flowers and I was pretty clueless about what I wanted when I walked into my consultation with Carolyn. Luckily for me, Carolyn is a complete professional and was able to guide me through the process of picking out flowers for myself, my bridal party, family, and center pieces. Everything turned out beautifully! The Flower Cart had no trouble delivering different parts of the order to separate locations and even called me the day of the wedding to make sure delivering flowers a few minutes early was okay! Best of all, everything stayed in the budget!

I loved my flowers from The Flower Cart. They were so affordable and Carolyn was pleasure to work with. They listened to what I wanted and came in under our budget! They also had promotion that we received a discount on our entire order! A week after my wedding, I have some of the center piece flowers in my house and they still look amazing. I did not have many specifics in mind besides colors when I originally met with Carolyn, but she helped me narrow down the style of bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for our day. She also helped us pick out flowers for the centerpieces (3 bottles with flowers in them) that would look nice. I told her I trusted her and her team to make each bottle look nice and that they didn't all have to be the same and did they come through! All of the flowers were amazing and we got many compliments on them. They also delivered the flowers right to our venue, which is a huge stress release! I would definitely go to them again for any special occasion flowers I may need in the future.

I cannot say enough great things about The Flower Cart. I originally didn't plan on really doing any fresh flower centerpieces because I thought doing so would put me way over budget. I am SO glad that I decided to reach out to The Flower Cart because I was able to get bouquets and centerpieces all within my budget. I worked with Carolyn who was just wonderful! I had a few pictures of what I wanted my bouquets and centerpieces to look like and Carolyn was able to suggest flowers based on what she saw in the picture. The bouquets and centerpieces turned out even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined - even better than the pictures I had provided. The whole entire process from beginning to end was seamless - I even had to add a few centerpieces on last minute and it was no issue. I met with Carolyn for my wedding flowers consult and was blown away by her professionalism and passion for her craft. She helped me pick out my perfect bouquets and flower arrangements.
The day of my wedding my flowers were perfect and I cried when I saw how perfect my flowers were. They were better than my "inspiration" photo I brought with me. I had compliments all night and still get them about how beautiful the flowers were.

Let me start by saying I have zero knowledge of flowers. We decided to go with The Flower Cart for my parents 20th anniversary vow renewal on Oct. 9th. We met with Ms Carolyn the earlier part of this year with nothing but pictures and ideas, and she pieced together what we wanted through stilted descriptions, ceremony colors and a general lack knowledge. We got my moms bouquet, 2 boutineers, 2 standing arrangements, 5 centerpieces, 3 or 4 bags of flower petals, and delivery for a little over 900 bucks which compared to some other florists we priced is a steal! Upon delivery everything was perfect, and exactly how we imagined it. My moms bouquet was amazing! Thank you Flower Cart for enhancing my parents day with floral beauty!

I had never worked with a florist before and wasn't looking forward to it because I know nothing about flowers and I figured I'd look like an idiot. I shouldn't have been worried! Carolyn at the Flower Cart was amazing and took care of me the whole way. She made it simple and had really great suggestions that got us to exactly what I wanted. I was very pleased with the Flower Cart! I came in and met with Carolyn with a vague idea of what I wanted and had no idea what I was doing, haha. I planned my whole wedding and I'd never even been to one! She led me through everything with no judgment, made it very easy, helped me, and overall delivered EXACTLY what I wanted. I came in with like 15 pictures that all conveyed a general sense of it: rustic, industrial, but natural...so not exactly an easy target to hit. But they nailed it, and I mean not just nailed it but NAILED IT! They understood what I wanted even more so than I did!!! I kid you not! My arrangements and aesthetic was not easy: I had sunflowers, daisies, mixed with succulents, garden greens. It would be very easy for this to turn out tacky but it was beyond excellent and VERY AFFORDABLE! The center pieces were old tin and each one was different and I loved it! We hadn't even discussed that and when I saw it the day of I was so excited!! Also on the day of, we were running late setting up and the driver must have sat in the car for maybe 2 hours, when I apologized to him he replied, "No no sweetheart, you take your time, I'll be here when your ready." So nice. I also rented an arch which looked AWESOME! But embarrassingly I had forgotten that they weren't able to pick it up afterwards, and I admit: I sorta lost it...what happened was one vendor took it with them and the other vendor said they had it. So for a few days they did not have it back and they didn't hassle me AT ALL about it, which post wedding is a serious blessing. Eventually the correct vendor callled me and said "uhh do you want this arch back?"! So I really couldn't recommend them more. As I said I met with Carolyn once, with no clue what I was doing and a vague idea, and she did such an amazing job! I got so many compliments on how beautiful, original and amazing it all looked. So insanely affordable, LOVED THEM!!

Carolyn and The Flower Cart Team provided gorgeous floral arrangements for our 1930's themed wedding! She recommended arrangements that were complimentary to my theme, in season and within my budget. I had a bridal part of 22, including parents and grand parents. She was very responsive, always there for me when needed. The arrangements arrived fresh and on time! Carolyn was truly wonderful! I knew that I wanted a lot of flowers at my wedding, and was very frazzled leading up to the event. She was very patient with me on our first meeting, and gave me exactly what I was looking for as far as flowers and style. The stayed right around what I needed for my budget, and overall I was very happy with everything.

The Flower Cart (and Carolyn) did an amazing job on our bouquets, centerpieces, pins etc. There's actually a picture of my bouquet on here (blush and ivory, with hints of blue and the burlap wrap with a white linen tie). I know nothing about flowers and poor Carolyn had to try to understand what I wanted from my very vague "blush, ivory, pretty and fluffy" description, but she got it 100% exactly right. The flowers were gorgeous, and they used our centerpieces that we hand made and set everything up for us at the venue. Extremely well priced for the quality and service we received. We highly recommend the Flower Cart!

Carolyn rocks. This unassuming place is walking distance from my house but I rarely buy flowers so I hadn't ever been there. I stopped in as I was becoming overwhelmed with a DIY wedding. Initially, I wanted bouquets, Bouts, etc for my wedding but I hadn't worked out all the details. Then, I decided to do the bouquets myself (this is really a lot of work even with help). Then I realized we had four pillars to use that needed to be topped with flower arrangements that i simply couldn't do. I was concerned that I needed to stay in my budget. Carolyn helped me so much and stayed well within my budget. The arrangements were GORGEOUS! Someone told me how much they thought I paid... i only paid 1/3 of that. Thanks again Carolyn.

The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! Carolyn was great to work with from the beginning planning appointment through the day of my son's wedding. Communication was very good. Carolyn made it very easy to work with long distance. The photographer changed the time to start taking pictures at the last minute and Carolyn was reassuring that the bridal bouquet and other flowers would be there in plenty of time. I was able to trust her completely to take care of us and she did. Pricing was very reasonable, worth every penny and more. Overall, The Flower Cart staff helped us create a beautiful setting for our special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I am so glad I found The Flower Cart for my wedding flowers. I was on a strict budget, and Carolyn was great to work with. She met with me and discussed what kinds of flowers and colors I liked and all the available options. A few days later she e-mailed a price quote to me. I asked her for options to reduce cost and she was extremely helpful. The flowers were way more reasonably priced than the other vendors I had checked out in the area.

On the day of our wedding, my husband drove to The Flower Cart to pick up all of the flowers. They were ready on time and came well labeled. The flowers were gorgeous and better than I could ever have imagined. Thank you again Carolyn for your help!

I don't normally write reviews, but Carolyn from The Flower Cart did an absolutely incredible job with my wedding bouquets! Not only were the bouquets gorgeous but the price was great too - very willing to work with modest budgets, unlike many other wedding vendors. She was very friendly and patient with me too when I came into the shop for my initial consultation. I wasn't sure what I wanted at first but she offered some great suggestions that turned out beautifully. I can honestly say out of all of my wedding vendors (and most of them were great), Carolyn exceeded my expectations the most, and I'm not even a big flower person. I would absolutely recommend the Flower Cart!

My mom and I worked directly with Carolyn at the Flower Cart for my wedding flowers. I ordered bouquets, boutonnieres, cocktail arrangements, over sized centerpieces, and separate arrangements for the ceremony (including standing arrangements, pew bows, etc.). We needed A LOT of flowers and had three separate delivery points and times. Not only were the flowers EXACTLY as I imagined (I had very specific ideas in mind) but Carolyn was the definition of professional and flexible. Carolyn and the Flower Cart were absolutely great to work with and helped make my wedding a truly memorable day. I would highly recommend the Flower Cart!

I loved working with Carolyn at The Flower Cart. She met with me a few times to discuss the types of flowers and look I was going for. As we had an outdoor garden ceremony, I didn't want to buy flowers, and she never pressured me into buying more than we needed. When I told her I intended for my large bridal party to use their flowers on our tables, Carolyn was in agreement. She tweaked our order to cut back on cost, and The Flower Cart delivered gorgeous flowers. I also appreciated that Carolyn suggested I buy cheaper vases elsewhere to cut back on cost. The delivery even showed up early to the venue! Everything went smoothly and better than I imagined with this vendor.

I used Flower Cart for my wedding flowers: personal flowers and centerpieces. I was so happy with everything. The personal flowers were exactly what I asked for as well as the centerpieces. TFC even accommodated my small requests. While they may have seemed insignificant, it meant the world to me that they went above and beyond to make sure our flowers were exactly what we wanted. We used The Flower Cart for flowers for our August wedding. The Flower Cart's estimate came in below my budget, and their flowers were beautiful. Carolyn was easy to work with, very friendly, and a quick responder to emails and phone calls. The Flower Cart exceeded my expectations - for example, we ordered 10 bouquets and centerpieces that were only supposed to have carnations, and I was really delighted to see on my wedding day that they had added roses (which I had originally told them I wanted but had to cut back on due to budget). Stephanie was very patient with all of our questions and changes! Neither of us knew much about what flowers we wanted for our wedding. She made the selection process comfortable and easy. We wanted to make our own centerpieces, so she helped us complete our vision and had wonderful suggestions and information.

Delivery was on time (early in fact...they beat us to the venue!)

The Flower Cart is a local business which has always been a place in the neighborhood that we have gotten flowers from. I have always been happy with the flowers from them. Stephanie at the Flower Cart did the flowers for my wedding- we had a casual reception, with no centerpieces, but I had a bouquet and a table arrangement for where we set out the guestbook. Both were absolutely STUNNING, and and the table arrangement just set the mood perfectly when you entered the space. I had a spring wedding, and don't know much about flowers, so with only "Something Springy" to go on, the bouquet she did was perfect! Everyone I spoke with was very friendly, and they were very patient and communicative when I had questions or wanted to change my mind. We chose the Flower Cart in Perry Hall Maryland last minute, because our original florist turned out to be a bust. We booked them one month before the wedding. I met with a woman there named Carolyn one on one. Carolyn sat and helped me pick out all of my wedding flowers, with help from picture books. Where my previous florist just kinda said "what do you want" and waited for me to choose. I had never done this before and had no clue what flowers were called, let alone how to pick ones that looked good together. Carolyn was very professional and accommodating. She was willing to guide me as much or as little as i needed. We were worried about the short lifespan of my flower of choice the Hydrangea and Carolyn was able to assure us that by using attachable water sources that our flowers would be beautiful, even though we had to pick them up the day b4 the wedding. The flowers turned out beautiful,and the Flower Cart made everything very affordable, and was very easy to get in touch with for any last minute changes or updates. I would definitely do business with them again, and will recommend them to friends and family!

Our wedding flowers were BEAUTIFUL!

I told Jammie our the budget and she never went above what I said we can handle. We had a smaller budget for flowers and was impressed with the beautiful bouquets she made!

Jamie was VERY easy to work with, she listened to everything I said we wanted and she delivered above our expectations.

The only reason this review was a 4.9 instead of a full 5 is that: the corsages we ordered were supposed to be wrist corsages, but we got the ones that pin. We used hair ties to make them into wrist corsages before the wedding LOL but really the flowers were amazingly done.

They did an amazing job with my flowers. They were exactly what I wanted. My only qualm was they didn’t deliver them right when I needed them but we’re about a half hour late which delayed some pictures. They also left before putting the flowers on the cake which I specifically asked them to do.

Jamie and her team were incredible to work with for my wedding! Very accommodating and professional, even when my mother and I had lots of questions! The only reason they are not receiving 5/5 stars from me is because of their delivery driver. He called up to my hotel suite on the day of the wedding asking if he could leave the flowers at the front desk instead of bringing them up to our room.

We overall loved our flowers. I lived my bouquet, the centerpieces,boutineirs, flower girl lanterns and church flowers. The bridesmaid bouquets weren't as I had envisioned but were still beautiful. The planning for our daughter’s wedding was very rushed and I didn’t order the flowers for it until a week before. Carolyn came through in style though and we were very pleased with what she came up with for us. We just wanted one large bouquet in a vase as well as a bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres, but we wanted special flowers such Calla Lilies and various blue flowers. We were very pleased with the flowers and the service.

Everything looked great for our wedding! The flowers were the colors we asked, which was one of my fears. The only other thing was I didn't want any greenery on the bouquets and there was...but it was an easy fix and they looked beautiful! Thanks Carolyn!!

Lovely work!!

I chose Flower Cart to do our wedding florals based on how helpful their staff was in the beginning of the booking process. My original point of contact (i believe she's no longer with flower cart, it's been about 2 years since we started this process) was SO helpful with helping me find something that worked with my vision and my budget. Everyone I spoke with at flower cart was so helpful and friendly. And the flowers were lovely! I wish I had more photos of the flowers but our wedding was so recent we haven't gotten our wedding photos back yet!

The flowers were beautiful--Carolyn did an amazing job! Delivery was just as promised, and the price was notably less than the other florists we interviewed. I would highly recommend them.

For the most part, the flowers from The Flowercart were beautiful. They were not exactly what I wanted but they turned out beautiful and went with the theme. The flowers were very healthy and stayed strong throughout the whole event. The one problem I did have was, my flower girls were carrying "kissing balls" and right before we walked down the aisle (literally), the one "kissing ball" broke right in half for no reason...the little girl was just holding it. We made-do and we got many compliments about all the flowers. The women their were awesome to work with also!

Oh. My. Goodness. My flowers were beautiful. I walked in with a very specific look and they were able to make exactly what I wanted. I have received many many compliments on my flowers and was so happy with the way everything turned out. I especially appreciated Carolyn's careful attention and her quick help when a couple miscommunications nearly made me crazy. Even when things got a little squirrely, they were able to get the show back on track quickly and make my vision come to life! I will definitely return to The Flower Cart again for future floral needs.

The Flower Cart did a great job on my floral arrangements for my wedding. They provided all of the arrangements and each piece was absolutely stunning. I provided sample pics of some floral arrangements. The Flower Cart did an excellent job in arranging the flowers and using colors that perfectly matched my wedding color scheme. A big thank you to Jamie for her patience and for working within my budget. I would absolutely use The Flower Cart again. Thanks, again!!!!!

Carolyn fron the Flower Cart was very professional. She was always willing to help with any questions we had. On the wedding day I was plesantly pleased with what we got. I was semi disappointed in my bouquet. I had asked for mainly gerber daisies and little of everything else. I got mini-gerber daisies and they were the flower that didn't stand out. The men's boutinerres(sp?) were perfect for the men in the wedding.

We did not do traditional centerpieces through the Flower Cart but they provided bouquets, boutonnieres, single flowers for centerpieces and corsages which all looked fabulous! The quality of the bouquets was amazing and the boutonniere withstood the rain long enough to look good for pictures. I had some difficulty with email communication closer towards the wedding but was able to get a hold of someone via telephone when I called the shop. Overall our experience with The Flower Cart was wonderful!

Had a wonderful time. After a short consultation everything was put in place. I didn't see the final product till the big day and I was totally satisfied with what she came up with. She did my bouquet and my three bridesmaids.

Right on Time. During your wedding you have a million and one things going on. And the Flower cart people help tremendously. The flowers were as described, fresh, and everything was arranged and setup. Just tell them what you want and when, and they'll have it setup on you're big day.

Although we had some miscommunication, the staff was willing to work with me to get exactly what I wanted. I was so excited to see the flowers, they turned out better then I could have imagined!

Our flowers were beautiful, however my only complaint is that my bouquet looked nothing like I wanted. I sent Carolyn a picture of the essence of bouquet I wanted (kind of a free form, un-uniform bunch of combined Ranunculus/ garden roses, greens, hydrangeas, and other random soft colored flowers...*insert gorgeous bouquets found all over pinterest*) What I got was a very uniform pink and white bouquet with roses so tight, they looked like regular roses (I actually hate roses, wanted peonies...but of course peonies aren't in season in September, and settled on Ranunculus or garden roses). I was disappointed with my bouquet, but what can you do the day of your wedding? The other bouquet, boutonnieres and corsages were lovely though. I recommend them if you want regular beautiful flowers, but not something outside of the box.
