Band + Entertainment

Wow! If you’re looking for a wedding band, look no further than The Flashbacks. This is the perfect band for any wedding, although they absolutely shine for bigger venues with lively receptions.

From the moment the dance floor opened at our wedding, it stayed full with guests young and old as the Flashbacks played incredible and professional sets of popular hits ... song after song. From back up singers to the brass horn accompaniment, Gordon and his gang literally kept the party going “All Night Long” as the song goes (Yes, they crushed that one too!) ... they even had us dancing on the tables—literally!

Throughout the planning process, Gordon followed up on any/all special requests including first-dance song options and a few thought logistical changes as this was a larger venue and outside as well. He was very responsive and professional from first contact until the time they (finally) unplugged.

This is the type of entertainment people remember long after wedding and the reception have passed. Can’t tell you how many great comments we’ve received from our guests about the Flashbacks and our reception. This is the kind of party people want!

As I said before ... look no further than Gordon and The Flashbacks if you’re still looking for a wedding band... chances are, if you’re looking, the Flashbacks may already be booked solid, so you may want to lock them in early ... they are truly that good!

Wonderful Experience!

The Flashbacks were wonderful to work with. Gordon was always quick to respond to any emails that were sent and very helpful any time I had questions. The band was absolutely amazing at the reception and multiple guests told me how fun they were. I would definitely recommend them to any friends!

Great job by the band, and a wonderful time for all!

The Flashbacks are a great band to work with before the event and were even more impressive the day of wedding.
We would definitely recommend them to others and look forward to seeing them perform again soon.

The best experience with the flashbacks!

I grew up going to dances with the flashbacks so of course I wanted to use them on my wedding day and I’m so glad they did. They brought so much fun to the reception and I got some many compliments from the guest. They also worked well with us on our speciality songs to ensure it would be prefect wedding day. Highly recommend the flashback you won’t regret it.

The Highlight of our Wedding Reception!

The Flashbacks were incredible at our wedding reception! It was always my dream to have everyone out on the dance floor at our reception - and my dream came true! From the toddlers to the great aunts, everyone danced and sang and had so much fun. Also, Gordon was great to work with before the wedding, which took off much of the stress of planning. Highly recommend!

The Flashbacks are AMAZING!

The Flashbacks played for our daughter's wedding reception in August of 2023 and we and our guests loved them! We had so many compliments about the remarkable job they did and how they made it an amazing celebration. We all were in awe of the talent of every one of the band members!
Not only was their performance perfect, but Gordon was great to deal with before the wedding day, as well. He helped me design a detailed timeline for the reception and advised me on how to make the reception flow. He was very professional and patient with all of my questions. I would 100% recommend The Flashbacks!

Corporate Holiday Party

I first heard FLASHBACKS SHOW BAND at a wedding in Birmingham and Iade a mental note that if I ever had the need, I would use them. I live in Atlanta and hired them to play my company’s Holiday party to ensure that we showed our employees a great time. It was a huge success and they are great to work with!

Outstanding!

If you are thinking about a Band to hire for your affair, look no further! The Flashbacks were OUTSTANDING when they performed at our sons wedding in October of 2023. Gordon, was a pleasure to work with and so accomodating and he knew exactly what we wanted to accomplish and they did just that! They were on time, professional, not to mention talented. All I can say is, they were the bones of the wedding! Hec,k, they even got my 90 year old mom up! Our family and friends are still talking about the band and how great they were. The Most Wonderful Experience!

The Flashbacks played at our daughter's reception back in April. Working with the team was seamless - very professional and excellent communicators. I loved so many things about her wedding and this was definitely at the top. The Flashbacks are excellent musicians and truly know how to engage guests! I would highly recommend this band to anyone who loves music and loves to dance!

Fantastic !

Highly Recommend!

I would highly recommend The Flashbacks for any special occasion or event. They were wonderful at our wedding and kept our guests on their feet and entertained. Gordon was very communicative, responsive and diligent. A wonderful band and vendor all around!

The Flashbacks Show Band ~ Kentucky Derby Style

The Flashbacks were our top band of choice for the Huntsville Museum of Art Guild: UNFRAMED Off to the Races fundraiser held May, 2022 at the Huntsville Museum of Art.
I can’t say enough about Gordon’s prompt and professional communication with the guild before, during , and after the event. The playlist was PERFECT for our event, and the delivery was PHENOMENAL! I have heard The Flashbacks entertain at wedding receptions, New Year’s Eve celebrations , business celebrations, and high school aged events just to name a few. I am always in awe of the amount of talent. Their voices and music are incredible! Also, the band’s style of entertaining is so classy AND fun that they totally light up the stage and easily reel in the crowd.
What an amazing afternoon/evening with The Flashbacks Show Band! Y’all are wonderful at what you do!

Best Wedding Band!

The Flashbacks Show Band was the perfect band for our wedding reception! My husband and I saw the Flashbacks at our cousin’s wedding and instantly loved them. Once we got engaged we knew we wanted to book them! The band was very responsive and helpful during the booking and planning process. At our wedding reception, the Flashbacks brought the party and all of our guests had a blast. So many of our wedding guests asked about our band and loved them! They are the perfect entertainment for your event!

Absolutely fantastic!

FANTASTIC! The Flashbacks were so amazing at my daughter's wedding. Guests from 3-93 years old danced all night! Every song they performed was flawless! Six months later I continue to get rave reviews about the Flashbacks. Gordon was so wonderful to work with. He is professional and responsive. Our wedding planner said they were the easiest band to deal with, not demanding at all. I wish I had another daughter because I would definitely have the Flashbacks again. Kudos to a job well done. Crowd favorite.

The Flashbacks are a MUST for your wedding day

The Flashbacks was 100% the best investment for our wedding reception. They helped make our wedding reception everything we dreamed of. They got the crowd up and moving-not to mention the musical talent is impeccable! Gordon was so patient with us as we selected the songs and types of music we wanted. We even changed our "grand entrance" song at the last second (literally right before we walked in) and The Flashbacks went right along with it! We have been to at least 3 weddings now featuring The Flashbacks and they get better each time! If you want your guests to have a blast and be talking about your wedding for years to come, then you NEED to book The Flashbacks Showband!!

The Flashbacks

Gordon was SO easy to work planning wise with and really made an effort to make my wedding day go smoothly and to play any special requests. I have had so many guests ask me after the wedding who the band was and how we heard about them. Highly recommend for any event! They were a huge hit!

Excellent Band

This band was fantastic! Gordon was always prompt to reply if I had any questions. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the various music. They where very professional and prompt in setting up their equipment and taking it down.

Very easy to work with and so accommodating to our request.

The highlight of our reception!

We heard The Flashbacks at our friends' wedding a few months before we got engaged. As we started planning our wedding, their availability was a factor in selecting our wedding date.....and they did not disappoint!! Everyone was on the dance floor all night....just what we wanted! The only regret I have is not booking them for an extra hour. Our guests were bummed when they realized the night/music was about to end. They were very professional and easy to work with. They looked and sounded great! "That band" is the number one compliment we get about our wedding....and we're still getting them weeks later! I highly recommend The Flashbacks! Book them...you won't regret it!

Best Band especially for a Fun Wedding Reception

The Flashbacks are absolutely amazing! They were the hit of our wedding reception! The theme for our wedding reception was a big, fun party and the Flashbacks were perfect! They played all different genres of music which kept almost everyone on the dance floor. Also, Gordon was so easy to work with! We can't think of a better band! We highly recommend them for your reception or your next big event or party!

Amazing!

Everyone should hire The Flashbacks Show Band for their wedding! They are amazing performers and made our wedding incredible! Gordon responds quickly to emails and is willing to do whatever he can to make your wedding perfect. Could not recommend them enough!

Show Stoppers

I first saw the Flashbacks Show Band perform at a wedding in Huntsville, AL and knew when I got married I had to have them at my wedding! They brought the energy, talent and fun to our reception and I would 100% recommend to a bride that is looking for a reception that guests will enjoy! The conga line through the ballroom led by their saxophone player is one memory I will never forget!

Most talented, fun, and exciting band!

We absolutely love this band! Our reception was a blast thanks to them! Everyone is so talented, friendly, professional, and fun! I still have people asking me about my band, and complimenting them, all the time. I hope I can find a reason to book them again in the future!!

Best Wedding Band EVER!!!

My husband and I got married last June and people are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding!!! Almost a year later! The Flashbacks not only play AMAZING music and do it very well, they make a wedding a party! They were so interactive and experts at getting the crowd involved!! We had so much fun celebrating with them and recommend them to everyone!!

We danced the night away!

Gordon and his Band were so much fun! My guests had a great time listening to their music and dancing all night! The band formed a Congo line and everyone joined in! I still have people telling me how much fun they had!! The Music was perfect and it made for a great night!

The Flashbacks Show Band was everything we could’ve dreamed of and more as our wedding band!!! Gordon and the band were always responsive to my questions and worked with me so well when I could not pick the special songs to save the life of me. Played a perfect mixture of recent songs and all the great oldies wedding songs. Kept the party going and had everyone dancing. Everyone has still been raving about them since our wedding day on September 29! Very reasonably priced and they were the icing on the cake to our wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend them!

The American Red Cross of North Alabama had the pleasure of the Flashbacks Show Band at our 15th Annual black tie gala on June 8, 2018. The Flashbacks are amazing! We had to move the concert inside due to the threat of rain, the Flashbacks made everyone forget they weren’t outside. People were dancing where ever they could find a space, everyone had an amazing time! We will have the Flashbacks back, next year,can’t wait!

There were so many great things about our son’s wedding. The #1 comment was the bride was beautiful! The second most frequent thing we heard was about the outstanding Flashbacks band. Regardless of age, our guests loved them! Gordon was so easy to work with! Book them!

GREAT BAND!!! The Flashbacks performed at my daughter's wedding reception. The dance floor was never empty. Actually, the dance floor was pretty much overflowing with young and old during the entire 3 hours of the reception. All of their music was good to dance to, and the singers sounded very much like the original performers who cut the songs. The best compliment came from our guest. We had about 300 guests, and at least 100 told either my wife or me "best band ever" for a special event. You will not be disappointed! 5 STARS!

Gordon and the band were so great to work with. They made my life as a bride easy, always getting back to me in a timely manner and working with me to help make every aspect of the reception flow well. Incredible! Everyone at the wedding raved, and continues to rave, about the band. Not only that, but Gordon is incredibly responsive. Customer service can't be beat. In my opinion the band is the most important part of the reception, and these guys are awesome. Would recommend for sure.

They were incredible! SO many guests came up to us to tell us how great our band was. Also, the groom surprised me with out first dance song, and sent it to the band separately so they could learn it in time. It's a hard one to pull off-These Arms of Mine. They NAILED it!!!!!! Everyone said it was so well done. Plus Gordon was so easy to work with and accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band.

If you are looking for the BEST BAND EVER.... The Flashbacks are your band. We hired them from Houston where we hear a ton of bands and our guests said they were the best they had ever heard for a wedding. I agree 100%.... The Flashback's MADE our wedding! They played a wide variety of music, learned songs that we requested, and did a great job of keeping the crowd involved! All of my guests spent the entire night on the dance floor, and all of them have told me how much fun they had because of the band! They also took time out of the night to check in with me and make sure that I was having a great time! Money well spent! The Flashbacks are the band to have! One of my top requests for our wedding was a live band because my husband and I love to dance at weddings. Gordon and the rest of The Flashbacks band went above and beyond for us! They are easy to communicate with and set the night up based on our wishes! They played all the wonderful wedding hits and kept the guests happy and dancing! We danced our hearts out and I wouldn't have had it any other way! I have had so many compliments about how much fun and how great the music was all night!! I can't thank The Flashbacks enough for helping make our night absolutely perfect! I definitely recommend them and will probably be crashing their next wedding just to enjoy the music and show!

Best wedding band ever! I am continuing to get compliments on how much fun the band was as well as how talented they are. I had nothing but compliments from all of my guests on this band at our wedding in February of 2017. Gordon, the lead of the band, was so easy to work with and went the extra mile making sure our first dance song and father daughter dance were just how we wanted them. He also gave me pointers on the scheduling of the reception and the layout of our reception hall to maximize the bands skills. We had the best time with the band and would highly recommend them for any wedding or event. They are a true value added vendor!

The Flashbacks were absolutely one of my favorite parts of the day! They were so much fun and made my reception something myself, family, and guests will never forget. We had the Flashbacks for my daughter's wedding reception this past weekend and they did not disappoint! Gordon Franklin worked with us on the songs my daughter wanted and had to learn two of them. They were FABULOUS!! One of the ones they had to learn was for the father/daughter dance and they nailed it.... so beautiful I cried! The Flashbacks "hit the mark" for everything we were looking for in a band for my daughter's reception! Gordon Franklin worked with my daughter to cover all her music choices as well as learn a couple of songs that were her favorite. Vocalists and musicians were outstanding. There were alot of music majors both professionally trained vocalists and musicians who were guests and they absolutely loved the band! Young as well as old were on the dance floor all night and the variety of music played a major part in that. The band was engaging with the audience which is what we wanted.
They are a true showband and their experience and expertise were over the top! Booking "The Flashbacks" was one of the best decisions we made! Would definitely recommend them and will certainly book them in the future!

Don't look any where else!!!! I contacted The Flashbacks strickly from the great reviews. THEN.... I got a phone call from Gordon and the sound of his voice, his professionalism and his courteous conversation with me about his band and what they provide was all I needed to book them!! I had gone on utube and watched them but they are so much better than any video they have to watch! They were always in touch, had a wonderful form to fill out for your choice of music and would learn songs important to you, the bride and groom and the family! And they sounded Fantastic!! What a pleasure and a blessing it was to find them!! Then the day of the wedding they were set up way ahead of time and he even came to me to make sure he was pronouncing the names correctly in the wedding party so when he introduced them all!!!! How thoughtful!!! When the music actually started it was INCREDIBLE!!! The vocals were fabulous and the sound was amazing! They got everyone up dancing!!! The brides' father was the most pleased of all! He just kept going on and on about how good they were! The Flashbacks made Courtney and Collin's day so very, very special! They had so much fun with them! Everyone did! Our 9, 7 and 4 year old granddaughters , who were the flower girls, NEVER sat down once they started to play!! They danced their legs off!! It was the most special day ever and I would recommend the Flashbacks over and over and over! You will NOT be disappointed!!! They are a blast ! (and we are very picky people!!) They are not only talented, they are absolutely delightful to work with. They also did one very special thing for me ---- My Mom could not attend the wedding as she was in a nursing home. Prior to the wedding, we were doing facetime with my Mom and I introduced her to the band. Without hesitation, they broke out in song, singing, "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You". It was so incredibly special to my Mom and to me. I thought this spoke volumes of who they are not only as musicians, but as people. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FLASHBACKS!

THEY ARE FANTATSIC! We had this band just recently at our May 14th wedding reception and they were simply wonderful! They sounded great, are full of energy, and kept the party going! Not to mention, they are extremely accommodating and easy to work with. I had SO MANY people tell me how much they enjoyed them and asked where I found them! I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a band and would love to have a reason to book them again! We had the best time with The Flashbacks!

The Flashbacks are amazing! If you're looking for a band that gets people on their feet and dancing all night, this is the band for you! My sister used them 5 years ago and when I got engaged the first thing we did was call Gordon with The Flashbacks. They are so easy to work with and their professionalism is unmatched. I wouldn't recommend any other band!!

The Flashbacks are WONDERFUL! If you're looking for a band to get people dancing, having fun, and enjoying every minute of your reception than these are your guys! Gordon is incredibly helpful and responsive and I would choose then again every time!

The Flashbacks were one of the smartest decisions I could have made for my wedding. They have been the most talked about portion of my reception. This band had guests from age 2 - 95 on their feet and dancing all night long. The music selection was absolutely perfect. My husband and I were especially impressed with how well they did learning out first dance (Frank Sinatra). Our entire group of wedding guests danced every single song all night long. Do yourself a favor and book The Flashbacks for your wedding!

The Flashbacks are such a fun wedding band. We got so many comments about how great they were. If you want your guest up and dancing the whole time this is the right band for you. They helped coordinate first dances, cutting of the cake, garter toss etc. If you do not have a wedding planner they will announce it for you at the usual time. This is take the stress off the bride.

I was very impressed with how fast and responsive Gordon was. He answered my questions very quickly and gave me suggestions on father/daughter & Mother/son dances. They also give you an option to go through their song list and tell them what songs you definitely want to hear and the not so much. I did not do this and am very happy with the song choices.

If I had only one word to describe these guys it would be "FANTASTIC!"

When we hired them, I didn't exactly know what to expect. Gordon reached out to us before the wedding and sent us his song list and was very accommodating of even adding a few songs that were not on his list. He made the whole experience leading up to the wedding awesome by making facebook announcements on his page and tagging friends and family. They really go above and beyond. For them it's not just about the music; they want to be a part of your wedding (not in an obnoxious or uninvited way) and really go the extra mile to accommodate any requests that you have.

They really and truly go the extra mile to make your special day so much fun.

And I haven't even really started talking about the music. These guys have talent. They play covers and do an amazing job of it. I had so many guests come tell me how much they liked the band. The music at a wedding can make or break the fun at the reception, and these guys really made it. People were dancing and drinking all night. It was perfect! The breaks that they took were short and properly timed. I really felt like this band was unselfish and invested in making sure that everyone had a great time.

You get so much more than what you pay for when you hire these guys. They really go the extra mile!

The Flashbacks were fabulous! Our reception was so fun and they are the reason. Everyone danced, including people that never get up and dance at weddings! We had seen the Flashbacks perform at two other receptions and chose to have them at ours because of how fun those receptions had been-we were not disappointed! They are incredibly talented and flexible! Since the wedding multiple people have approached us to tell us how wonderful and talented the band was!

Finding a band that was of good quality and didn't break the bank for my wedding was a struggle. The Flashbacks were recommended to me, and it was one of our best decisions. They are very affordable, sound great, and are a lot of fun. Everyone danced all night, and I know it was because of the band's energy. People today still ask me about our band. They were also great through the whole planning process. Every time I emailed a question, I had a response within minutes. They were very easy to work with, and I could tell that they were in it for the bride and not a paycheck. I have absolutely no complaints. They were perfect, and I would hire them again.

I saw The Flashbacks play at a dinner show and they also played at my wedding. They are a very talented band with a wide range of instruments and vocalists! Everyone had a great time and told me how much they enjoyed the music at the reception. The band is flexible with how involved you want them to be in the reception. There was a lot of communication before the wedding which was great for me to make sure I had all the details in order! I would definitely recommend them to any of my family and friends!

If you're recently engaged, book The Flashbacks as soon as you can! Entertainment was a very high priority for my wedding (once I had a date and venue, The Flashbacks were the first vendor I hired), and The Flashbacks were the perfect choice. They are the quintessential wedding band, playing everything from "Shout" to "Don't Stop Believin'" and so much more. Their energy is contagious, and they put on a true show. My guests were dancing all night, and everyone raved about The Flashbacks for weeks.

Gordon was my contact for the band. Gordon is professional, responsive, and knowledgable. He is more than just a band leader--Gordon knows weddings. He provided wonderful tips about how to make my reception run smoothly, and he acted as an emcee for all of the major events (cutting of the cake, bouquet toss, etc.). He really kept us on schedule to ensure that we didn't miss anything we wanted to do during the reception. His goal was to make me happy and ensure that my wedding reception was the exact event I imagined. He nailed it.

The Flashbacks were amazing! Everyone at the party was raving about how great the band was. My dad loved them so much, he even gave them extra tip at the end! Gordon was extremely professional and very responsive to all of my questions. I would highly recommend this band for any event. I hope we can have them again in the future for another party!

The Flashbacks were amazing!! They absolutely made our reception the best night we have ever had. Gordon and all the members of the Flashbacks were very professional and very talented and fun and very easy to work with. We could not have asked for anything better. The Flashbacks were THE BEST band I could have ever ask for! They provided music that reached every age group. They were SO fun, upbeat, and grooving all night. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed The Flashbacks!! They were SO incredibly easy to work with and were very responsive to emails and phone calls. The BEST thing about them is how awesome they sound and talented they are! They all have WONDERFUL voices (which was really important to me when looking for a band!) and are extremely talented on multiple instruments. All of our guests were so impressed! We were asked over and over, "Where did you find this band?" It's been almost two months since the wedding, and people are still asking about them!

The Flashbacks made our wedding reception truly magical. In advance to our wedding, the band was very flexible, attentive to our needs and wants, and worked with us to make the night exactly what we had envisioned. They were easy to work with the day of the wedding and provided excellent entertainment for us and our guests. We were thrilled with how many people loved their mix of music and after the bride and groom danced, there wasn't a moment without dancing the rest of the night. I had many compliments of the band from our guests after the wedding. We wanted a party, and the Flashbacks definitely made it possible!

I saw them at a previous wedding and had a ball, so when my sister was getting married I recommended them. They were very flexible and responsive. They were so much fun and had everyone talking for months about how great they were. They played a great variety of music that fit all of the age ranges we had at the wedding. I would not only recommend them but I plan on booking them again when my big day comes around.

This band was awesome! Everyone said that they had a marvelous time listening to them and they really put on a show. When I heard them at a Bridal Fair that I went to I knew I had to have them. Everyone from my niece and nephew to my grandparents loved them! I would recommend them to anyone!

Our first band quite 10 weeks before the wedding. The Flashbacks came highly recommended to fill in. We were unsure this was going to work but really had no choice. It seems that someone was looking out for us!! The Flashbacks were so unbelievable!! The dance floor was never empty. No matter what request we had, they more than fulfilled our requests. They went out of their way to make sure we all had a good time and was so concerned for the bride and groom. They made sure they had a wedding of their dreams!!

I can't say enough good things about The Flashbacks!! Their performance was unparalleled and our friends are still talking about how great the music was! The Flashbacks made our wedding reception one of the most fun ones I have ever been to....seriously. I have been to probably 6 weddings this year, and The Flashbacks had literally everyone at the reception on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG! I have never seen this at any of the receptions I have been too. They were always very responsive to any requests we asked of them before and during their performance. They truly exceeded everyone's expectations, and they did an incredible job learning Into the Mystic by Van Morrison for mine and my husband's first dance.

I would love to attend another event where they are the entertainment, and I would DEFINITELY reccommend them to anyone looking for a great band!!

The Flashbacks played our wedding reception in Auburn, AL on June 4, 2011 and did an outstanding job! They made the reception and had everyone out on the floor dancing! We had many compliments during the reception and after. They play a wide range of songs and were very accommodating to us in learning 3 songs for our reception!! The Flashbacks are AWESEOME! Gordon is so nice to talk to and work with. He and the band will learn a special song for you, if the song you would like to dance to is not included in their list. I have had several guests from my wedding tell me they were one of the best bands ever heard at a wedding. They also played at my sister's wedding so this was our second time working with them and both times there was not one thing that was unsatisfactory about their service. They are wonderful!!

This band is incredible! They play a wide variety of genres, and are perfect at reaching all age groups and pulling them onto the dance floor. A year after my wedding, I still have people telling me how much they enjoyed our band. Gordon was so easy to work with, and very willing to learn any song that we needed him to. Not only are they a fun band, but they are just all around incredibly talented. Highly recommend booking this band!!

We absolutely loved going to hear the Flashbacks at any opportunity, so when we decided to have a larger wedding, we decided we wanted to get the Flashbacks for our wedding reception. We all had a WONDERFUL time. They are amusing, talented, fun, talented, and all around great! The dance floor was full at all times and young and old alike were on the floor with us. The band has a way of getting the audience involved, and everyone loved the band. I still have people come up to me and tell me about the great band we had. We have already decided we will use them again for an anniversary or just a great party!
