I can’t say enough amazing things about this wedding band! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. I shared the genres and vibe we were hoping for, and they delivered exactly what we envisioned—every song fit the moment perfectly.
They interacted with our guests in such a fun, natural way and kept the energy high all night. They were also incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. While they were happy to have a dressing room to change in, they never required anything special and were never pushy or demanding.
Professional, talented, and genuinely kind—this band helped make our day unforgettable.
David, the band leader, I can't say enough good things about! So easygoing, organized, and genuinely attentive. I highlighted the songs and genres I wanted, and he played exactly what I envisioned. He made the entire process effortless.

Best wedding band ever!!
Finesse Party Band was hands down one of the best parts of our entire wedding! From the very first song to the last dance, they had everyone on their feet and kept the energy sky-high all night long. The 10-piece band brought such an incredible sound and vibe—every single musician was amazing, and together they created the most unforgettable party atmosphere.
Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had, and so many have told us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. They played the perfect mix of classics and current hits, and every song was a total crowd-pleaser.
One of the absolute highlights of the night was when they invited my husband up on stage to play guitar with them during “Sweet Home Alabama”—the crowd went wild, and it’s a memory we will cherish forever!
Beyond their incredible talent, the band members were professional, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made the entire evening feel so special and personalized, and we truly can’t thank them enough.

Wedding reception
We hired Finesse for our daughter's wedding reception. They were fantastic. From the beginning, Dave, the bandleader, was so friendly and receptive. We discussed first dance songs, overall playlist, “run of show” for the evening, and ways to incorporate cultural dance songs that they could not play. Finesse is fabulous, welcoming, professional and TALENTED! We would definitely hire them again for any event.

We used the Finesse Party Band for our wedding in March. We could not have picked a better band. They were incredible!! We had so many people talk about the band after the wedding, many people told us it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. They really did a great job. Dave and Finesse were incredible, could not recommend them enough. They kept the energy high all night, did a great job reading the crowd and playing songs that kept folks on the dance floor, and were amazing to work with leading up to the wedding. I'd recommend giving Dave your list of "do not play" songs and let Finesse take care of the rest. Everyone at the wedding could not stop raving about how amazing they were (and we thought so too!).

Finesse rocked our event!
We hired Finesse for our 50th anniversary gala and they were fantastic! So talented, professional and the audience loved them. They had people on the dance floor before dinner was even served! I've seen other professional party bands from NYC and Chicago who were twice the price and didn't compare to Finesse. Hire them, you won't regret it!

Wow! The Finesse Party Band was absolutely amazing! The talent and energy of this 10 piece band led by Dave Martin was incredible. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Everyone at our wedding was raving about them during and after the reception. Dave was great to work with ahead of the wedding, sending over a setlist of close to 14 hours of music to determine our top choices. They have an awesome playbook to help you maximize the celebration for the whole night and keep the energy going. We also had their keyboard player perform our ceremony music and cocktail hour. They can play any of the hits and we had only one request, ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ by Prince. They killed it and was such a memorable night. Thanks again Dave and Finesse, you guys were incredible!!!

Finesse was absolutely PERFECT for our wedding at The Gasparilla Inn. Dave was a huge help in deciding which songs and styles to use for our father/daughter and mother/son dances, and their list of songs for the rest of the night was massive. Dave, the bandleader, touched base with us several times prior to the wedding to make sure he had all the requested music and even learned a song for us, Ala Chris Stapleton and he killed it! 💕 He made sure the bride and groom were happy the whole night. I had so many guests come to me after the reception to tell me how great this band was. We interviewed several bands and they were by far the best. I guarantee you will love everything about them!

Finesse Party Band played our wedding recently and they were incredible. They rocked and can play a wide range of music. Everyone at the wedding loved them and I've never seen a dance floor so consistently full the entire night. In the days following the wedding, nearly everyone has told us one of two things: either "that band was amazing" or "that's the best wedding band we've ever seen." As the father of the bride, I can honestly state, do not hesitate or have any second thoughts about booking this band for your wedding. They exceeded expectations. They sound terrific and they keep the party going the entire night. They are extremely professional and every song choice they made was perfectly executed at the perfect time. We greatly appreciate how special the Finesse band made our reception and wedding day as a whole. They absolutely rocked it from start to finish! Wow! Any party would be lucky to have Finesse perform at their event. They were incredible and so easy to work with. We had Finesse at my sister’s wedding at the Vinoy in February and we were able to book them for our wedding a the Tampa Museum of Art in November. They are professional, classy and very good at what they do. 100% recommend!!!!

The best band ever
My husband and I had a unique wedding experience as we got married 2 days after Hurricane Ian. Throughout the week leading up to the wedding Dave made it clear that they were still all in and he was so encouraging during this stressful time. All that being said when Saturday came, Dave and his band members MADE our wedding! They played the most wonderful selection of music during dinner and when the dancing started up it never stopped! I have had over 20 people who attended tell my husband and I it was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. Make sure you rent a big dance floor because your guests are sure to never leave. The are worth every penny and more!

Absolutely spectacular! I hired Dave and the band for our inaugural gala with the hope of receiving something truly special, and that is exactly what it was! From our initial discussion, to the help with our run of show, to the engagement with our guest, and of course, the outstanding sound, The Finesse Party Band exceeded our expectations! A pleasure to work with on every detail. They kept the party going until the very last minute…and it’s tough to get a bunch of first responders out on the dance floor! Finesse Party Band will not disappoint.
The Finesse Party Band will not disappoint. I asked bandleader Dave Martin to promise me that guests would dance from the moment they walked into the reception, and they did. The band plays such a wide variety of music that our oldest guests (in their 80's) to our youngest guest (age 11) danced the night away. The sound is impeccable as are the voices of the singers. The musicians are extraordinarily talented. Dave is easy to work with and patient. He is generous with his time and talent and patient with the many calls from a nervous mother of the bride. My only regret is that I do not have an upcoming event to hire them again today. It is without reservation that I recommend the Finesse Party band it will be one of the best wedding decisions you make.

I wanted a fun, professional band for my daughter's wedding that could keep everyone out on the dance floor for the entire night. They delivered and beyond! I can't tell you how many wedding guests came up to me and my wife raving about the band. Our wedding guests never stopped dancing. Everyone loved the band, the music they played and their interaction with the wedding guests. They are still talking about the band on social media. Most importantly, my daughter and her new husband loved them. The Finesse Party Band is a must hire! They are simply the best!! You are making a mistake if you don't hire them. These guys absolutely CRUSHED it!! There was not a moment people were not having a blast on the dancefloor! They were also very accommodating and learned the songs we wanted to do for our first dance and father daughter songs. They were also very communicative throughout the process and super easy going. This Band is GREAT!
Dave and the Finesse Band were outstanding! The music is the most important ingredient for a celebratory wedding and they got the crowd up and HAPPILY dancing non-stop. That is exactly what we wanted and they came through in spades! We couldn't have been more pleased- -everyone said "THIS BAND IS GREAT!" and asked for their cards. Outstanding Band!
The Finesse Party Band played our annual Krewe Mardi Gras ball this year! They were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was packed all night long. Their song list is impressive and covers every genre and time period. The evening went very well and we got a lot of positive feedback from guests and Krewe members. Dave Martin and the Finesse Party Band stole the show in an already spectacular venue and wedding celebration for our daughter. When a majority of the guests comment specifically about the quality of the band at your event that is a genuine testimonial to their talents and abilities. The vocals and instrumentation were top-tier entertainment and even above our lofty expectations. When you combine the song selection, the timeliness of each song and the energy with which it was performed, this made for a night to remember and the guests clamoring for more. What can I say about the Finesse band other than they ROCKED my couples wedding this past weekend at Kapok Special Events!! I have seen many bands perform at our venue over the years, but this team of professionals had their own flare and kept the party going and the guests on their feet. They definitely made all the difference at the wedding! Their instruments and vocals were on point and did not miss a beat! Dave Martin and The Finesse Party Band were ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR !!! Everyone knows that the Band and the food are what make for a successful wedding. This band had the dance floor packed to capacity the entire evening and even when they took their dinner break the music that they had preselected for dinner still had the crowd up. Dave Martin stayed in touch with us from the time we booked the band one year ago right up until the last week making sure that the playlist was exactly what we wanted and there were no problems. THE FINESSE PARTY BAND is absolutely appropriately named. We could not have had a more perfect band which made for a most memorable wedding. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a band to play at at any major event, not just a wedding hire them early because you can be sure that their calendar is full.

The best I've ever heard...
One of my tasks as FOB was to handle the music/entertainment. Well, a DJ was never an option. The Finesse Party Band was recommended to us by our wedding venue planner, along with several other bands. So I began the process of choosing a band. Soooo...That didn't take very long! Checking them out on YouTube, they went straight to the short list. And after talking to Dave, the band leader, I hired them. In their bands description, it says this: "Want to create a lively and energetic performance which is sure to impress your guests?" Our wedding guests weren't just impressed, they were blown away. Many commented that the band was the best they have ever heard at a wedding. And, that they were exhausted from dancing ALL night. The band never takes a break. Non-stop music, entertainment, and professional MC'ing of the reception. The night was flawless. Thank you Dave for saying what you'll do and then overdoing what you say! So if you're here reading reviews trying to decide on music and entertainment for your wedding, I have two words for you. Hire them!!

Multiple of my wedding guests told me that this band was the best live music they had ever heard. The dance floor was packed the entire evening, and every song sounded amazing. This band was very patient and worked with my schedule to ensure the evening went smoothly. They were friendly, professional, experienced, and highly adaptable. This band is truly amazing and I can't recommend them enough!

Awesome Band!
They were spectacular! They contacted me early in the process and staid in close contact throughout the reception planning process and helped guide us through all issues. They are an awesome band and made my daughter's wedding day even more special by providing one heck of a party! Most importantly, their music was fabulous.

Most memorable part of our day
I've been trying to find the worlds to describe how great the experience was having Finesse play at our wedding. Everything was perfect. They catered to every need and hit a favorite song for every guest. They didn't just learn our first dance, Finesse brought a whole new set just based on music they knew we liked. No ask was too big. Dave was always available to help plan this day. I wouldn't think twice about finding another reason to work with this band!

Genuinely Enjoyable, Pros Start to Finish
As a wedding planner, over the years I've developed higher and higher expectations for the way I interact and work with key players in a wedding day. Not only were Dave & the Finesse team responsive & professional, I looked forward to planning calls.
On the day of the wedding, they were early, prepared, and eager to make the reception the absolute best for the bride and groom. And they did that! Every part of their performance was stellar, the dance floor was super packed, and the timeline stayed on track despite delays outside of their control.
11/10 would recommend!

Kept the party going all night!
Dave Martin & Finesse were absolutely incredible. Not only did they work with us to move our wedding three times due to COVID, but they made every request a reality. We had an uncommon first dance song that they absolutely crushed as well as a mashup request for the father daughter dance that was also amazing. They kept the party going ALL night. Everyone was on the dance floor from the moment they started until the end of the night. We have heard nothing but rave reviews for the band since our wedding weekend. Dave checked in often leading up to the weekend and any requests I had, he welcomed with open arms. I felt like the band was truly part of the wedding planning process and couldn’t have pictured a more perfect day. 10/10 recommend using Finesse for your wedding day or any event!!! Truly the best night of my & my husband’s lives.

Highly recommended!!
From start to finish, the Dave and the Finesse Band were simply the best. The month before our wedding, Dave and I chatted several times to ensure every detail of our wedding day was planned out and accounted for. The night of our wedding, everyone was on the dance floor from start to end of the night. The band truly made our wedding and weeks after we still have people reaching out to tell us how amazing the band was. I cant recommend Dave and the Finesse Band enough for any event. True professionals that know how to make a party. We cant say thank you enough!!

The Finesse Band is one I highly recommend!
I would highly recommend Dave Martin and the Finesse Band to anyone who is looking to hold a stellar event. I found Dave to be the perfect contact when I was looking for a band that would be enjoyed by 600 guests. He was so helpful from the very beginning to the end. Always attentive and so professional. I was impressed by how interested Dave was in making our evening successful. The music they played appealed to every age group and the dance floor was always full! The personal attention meant so much and made our event a night to remember by all.

Couldn't have asked for a better band on our wedding day
We found Dave and the Finesse Party band via a referral when our prior band arrangements fell through. As you can imagine, we were a bit stressed and skeptical when we picked up Finesse as our "back-up" band. But the moment I spoke to Dave - he set me at immediate ease and I can honestly say I am so happy that our original band fell through, as I don't think any other band could've done as spectacular of a job as Finesse! Dave is extremely responsive and caters to every need/special request you have - I have a list of things they went above and beyond on, but to name a few: I had some songs that I wanted played outside of his extremely expansive music list, and they played my requested songs without missing a beat. Also, Dave threw in an awesome last dance that was a surprise (well kind of, he asked me 3 days in advance about last dance, and that he had an awesome idea) - and it really was awesome!
Trust these guys, they know what they're doing, and they're great at it. Thanks again Dave and Finesse, I'd hire you time and time again!!

Amazing wedding band!
We had the Finesse Party Band perform for our daughter's wedding. The dance floor was going all night! They were wonderful. They were flexible to accommodate our desired playlist, learned new songs for us, and were just sooooo much fun. Recommend highly!

Wedding coordinator
The band appealed to all age groups. They were able to provide music for the cocktail hour. Played dinner music with the full band and then had great vocals and music for the reception.

Dave is a delightful person and a dream to work with.

Awesome experience
We hired Finesse for our wedding in Boca Grande and they were phenomenal! Super talented, and engaged the crowd throughout the night. Everyone from 9 to 90 had a great time. Highly recommend!

Finesse was amazing!
It's hard to put into words how much they add to the reception. The range of songs played and the diverse collection of singers and musicians each working together on stage to bring so much energy to the party was incredible. I cannot believe how amazing this band sounds.

Fantastic and Terrific,
We had Finesse perform at my daughter's wedding. As the father, I did a lot of work selecting and working with the band. They were absolutely fabulous. Nobody wanted to leave the dance floor. They brought tremendous energy to our reception in addition to a great music performance. Very charismatic performers. They also arranged to have a trio play during our cocktail hour and that was great too. And very organized to - whether it was contracting, working with them selecting the music, or questions they were very prompt to reply to emails and the phone. You can't go wrong with this band. True professionals.

Amazing high energy band that fits your needs!
I had the pleasure, as a wedding planner, to work with Dave and the band starting with emails all the way up to the conclusion of the wedding. Dave was excellent with emails and calls and was flexible with the tight schedule that the band was given. On day of, the entire band was kind, proficient, and professional. They were open to the changes we made leading up to the wedding and they were very communicative. They played everything the bride's family requested and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. As a planner, I would highly recommend Finesse Party Band as they were so wonderful to work with. As the couple, I could tell the band also accomplished and saw through all expectations they had. As a wedding/party guest, I can guarantee you will be dancing and have a great night with Finesse Party Band playing your next event!

Top Notch Band, Absolutely PERFECT!
Finesse Party Band was an absolute pleasure to work with. All of our guests complimented how great they were at the wedding. They went above and beyond for us, learning our special request first dance song and also prepping lyric changes less than 48 hours before the big day for the son/mother dance. David was very professional and a joy to work with. Highly recommend them and will definitely be booking them again for our company Christmas parties.

Outstanding!
Finesse performed at our wedding at the end of March 2019 and stole the show. They brought so much energy, got the crowd excited and were extremely accommodating. We were very specific regarding what songs we wanted to hear and they fully followed through. They even played back up as our brother in law sang our first dance song. The band also played a few songs we were hoping to hear that were not on their song list.
We could not have been more pleased with our deduction to chose Finesse and recieved comments from the majority of our guests on how great they were.

High energy! Loved them!
Before the wedding, we spoke with Dave the band leader. He promised that he treats every wedding like it's his own, and that they would bring a ton of energy to the party. Finesse 100% delivered. They sounded incredible. They learned our first dance song and did a great job playing it. During and after the wedding we got so many compliments about how fun they were.
