  The Film Poets

  The Film Poets are absolutely incredible! Our wedding film left us speechless! Matt & Pacey are such wonderful people & we highly recommend them. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. When I came across their wedding films I instantly fell in love with how beautiful their work is. They captured our wedding day so beautifully & also told our love story, which is one of the reasons I love their work so much. Every time we watch our wedding films, it takes us right back to our special day & that is something we are forever grateful for. Capturing special moments has always been so important to me and The Film Poets are truly the BEST wedding videographers/filmmakers ever!!! We will never be able to thank them enough for capturing the best day of our lives, it is something that we will cherish forever. If you are looking for a videographer for your wedding, definitely choose The Film Poets!!!

  You're literally crazy if you don't choose the FilmPoets. By far the best decision I made throughout the entire planning process & the only thing I would change would to get the biggest package they offer because it's THAT worth it!

  I can't even begin to describe how thankful we are to have had The Film Poets as a part of our big day. I'm a wedding photographer, so when planning my own wedding it was important to me to find an amazing photographer and videographer. When I saw The Film Poet's work, I was amazed at the beautiful cinematography, the creativity, and the well-chosen/personal music that accompanied each video. Our wedding was held at a historic plantation home in Tennessee, and when we saw our wedding video we were immediately taken back to that perfect day. The first look, the ceremony, the candid moments in our getting ready areas----it's like the wedding day is here all over again. The reception coverage was fun, quirky, and ended in the most epic/romantic slow-motion exit shot. It's seriously my biggest post-wedding obsession. I know I'm going to be grateful for these amazing videos for years to come.

  Having The Film Poets at our wedding was without a doubt the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Our wedding video was absolutely perfect. It truly allows us to relive our special day over and over again. Matt has such a gift for capturing the most special moments of a wedding- without you even knowing he's there. They are so professional, timely and easy to be around. He took the time prior to our wedding to meet with us and really find out what was most important to capture and he completely surpassed all of our expectations.   We were absolutely thrilled with The Film Poets! Matt and Pacey are true artists - you could even call them "poets" - and the video that they produced for us far exceeded our expectations. We've received nothing but the highest praise from friends and family who watched it - everyone was blown away!
  
  I can't come up with enough good things to say about them, so I'll just provide a few highlights and things you may want to consider:
  
  1. They blended in with the crowd - we never felt that their presence was awkward or took away from our day. Other than the few times they needed our undivided attention, we couldn't even tell that they were there!
  
  2. We had a special request to have our video finished earlier than normal for an event we wanted to show the film at - Matt was able to finish it in less time than it would have otherwise taken, which meant more hours editing in less time. He pulled it off!
  
  3. We had a few elements that we wanted in our video that were a bit different than how The Film Poets usually produce videos. We got some pushback on this from others we consulted prior to meeting Matt and Pacey, but these two were completely willing to work with us to make sure the film turned out like we wanted.
  
  4. They were very friendly and took time to meet with us twice prior to the wedding to make sure we were on all the same page.
  
  5. During the wedding, they meant business - they knew what they needed and got it done. They put in long hours to make sure they captured each and every moment.
  
  6. They worked very well with our wedding planner and photographer - no one's creative vision interfered with the other's.
  
  They are not the cheapest folks around, but the old saying holds true - you get what you pay for! These two were worth every penny and we would work with them again in a heartbeat. You won't be disappointed!

Now looking back, I would tell anyone that our wedding video from The Film Poets, and the experience working with them is worth every penny!   Looking back after the wedding, booking the Film Poets was the best thing we did!! They are an incredibly, multi- talented duo and our wedding film quality was amazing and wonderfully edited. They were with us all day, capturing every moment. I loved how we got a highlights video and a documentary video. We just want to watch them over and over and have gotten so many compliments on it. Several people have told me "I started crying watching your video!" Highly recommend Matt and Pacey!

  I feel as though there are not enough kind words to describe The Film Poets. I knew that there was something special that stood out in their videos and from the moment we met Matt and Pacey we instantly knew we'd made the right decision in choosing them as our videographers. They were always so friendly, professional, available and willing to answer any questions we had. The fact that they are soul mates themselves adds to their talent of being able to capture those truly special moments only a husband and wife would know to look for. The way they pieced together our story for our highlights film was unlike anything I've ever seen. A friend said, "It's like a romance movie but so incredibly better because it's real". I remember watching it no less than 20 times the day we received it! The fact that I can look back on our wedding day and relive each and every smile, tear, laugh and silly dance move over and over again means so much to me. Matt and Pacey knew how much our children and family meant to us so they made it a point to incorporate that throughout. There is a very special moment they included that brought happy tears to my 6 year old's eyes and the sweetest smile to his face. That is a memory I will cherish forever. Something else that comes to mind is the very end of our video. It is dark outside and they were able to zoom in close on our silhouettes as I lean in for a kiss from my husband and mouth the words "I love you". It is truly breathtaking. Choosing The Film Poets was one of the very best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. There is nothing like being able to watch our very own fairytale each and every time I press that play button!

  Matt and Pacey are not only good at what they do, they are good people. They are so easy to work with and provided us with the most beautiful recap of our wedding weekend! We could not be more pleased. Highly recommend them!

  I have to say that this was the best "wedding vendor" decision that I ever made.... and the most well spent money.... AND you can't even call The Film Poets a "wedding vendor"! I feel like Matt & Pacey are old friends that just happened to catch our special day on camera! They were a JOY to work with and we had a great time getting to know them. Feeling comfortable on your wedding day while someone is videotaping such private moments (and being able to forget they are even there) is hard to come by- so I feel blessed to have had it!
  The story is- I always knew I wanted to hire a videographer for my wedding... but I had no idea just how incredible the experience could be. The Film Poets captured our wedding so beautifully and the Highlights Film that they created- is absolutely amazing. People are still calling me about it and everyone I know cried like a baby watching it. I watch it often (obviously) and it takes me right back to the beach that day... I cant even imagine how much time and effort was put into editing it. I also just received the rest of the footage from our wedding day in a beautiful package (the rest of the footage was made into a few more movies) and I fell in love with their work all over again! Its truly amazing to me that someone could videotape our wedding and recreate a movie that perfectly depicts us, our family and the most important day in our lives!
  Thank you again Matt & Pacey... you have officially blown me away!

  Very professional...captured every important moment of my son and daughter-in-law's wedding, so we coud relive it over and over for years to come. I have had friends tell me this is the best Video of a wedding they have ever Seen! Very happy my couple chose the Film Poets for their special day! Wow!

  Matt and Pacey, The Film Poets, live up to their business name and are amazing people and wonderful videographers! I could not have asked for better people to capture every special moment of my day! My video footage is more than I could have ever imagined... I knew it was going to be good, but it is so much more than I ever thought! I watch it over and over again!

  Excellent videography choice. I can't imagine choosing a better vendor. Matt and Pacey were amazing people to work with. Their final products are completely worth it and they are very accommodating. If you just watch a few of their videos you can see what you will receive from them. I was very happy to have them there with me.
