We are so glad that we went with the Farnam for our wedding! They were so organized, professional, and extremely accommodating. Sarah was a dream to work with! She was always one step ahead of me and helped me know what I needed to do next. The actual day of the wedding went so smoothly! If there were any little small things that we forgot, everyone was very quick to get it figured out. My husband and I cannot recommend The Farnam enough!!!

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with much kindness, superior attentiveness and professionalism! EVERYONE and I mean everyone at this hotel was top notch! Planning the events with Brooke and Sarah Wynn was outstanding! The attention to detail to have everything just perfect was amazing! When we arrived Derek our valet/greeter was loading 12 suitcases, serving champagne, and helping to check us in- we felt very welcomed quickly! Hope our banquet organizer set up the ballroom with much expertise and perfection! Everything from food, drink, service, desserts, and clean up was outstanding!! It went exactly as planned- flawless and WONDERFUL!!! I can't thank you enough! The welcome reception in The Catalyst was enjoyed by all!! The bartenders, servers and attendants were SO awesome!! I had so many people approach me to say how wonderful everything was! A great time was had by all!! Thank you everyone who had a part in this celebration- the party was incredible! (Sorry I cannot remember everyone's names) The breakfast brunches were delivered on time to both bride & groom suites- and were very delicious! The boxed lunches were a great addition for a snack on the bridal party's limo- all enjoyed the sandwiches, fruit and chips and much needed water!!
The hotel rooms were spectacular and every front desk attendant and all valet/ luggage attendants -there was nothing that they would not offer to help with. Always so kind and generous! I have never had a hotel be so attentive to every small detail like they did! OUTSTANDING JOB BY EVERYONE!!!
I cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Farnum!! WE all would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a celebration/party or wedding here!!! Can't wait to return!!

We held our Welcome Party outside on their beautiful patio. Served small bites and cocktails. The food was absolutely delicious and the attention to datail was impeccable. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and many of our guests commented on their excellent service. Would highly recommend!!

The Farnham Hotel is an absolute DREAM! We used them for our wedding party block and couples suite. Our wedding party all stayed there as well as some guests and our wedding party got ready there. The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious. The staff and service are beyond amazing! They remember you and are extremely helpful and responsive! WE had the best experience EVER! The catalyst bar is BEAUTIFUL, we took some wedding photos there as well as went there after the reception with several friends and family members

Everyone at The Farnam was professional, friendly, welcoming, and beyond helpful--Especially Sarah Wynn. She helped us plan every detail of the day and really took charge when it came to coordinating with vendors. leading up to the day, I didn't feel that any detail was left out. The day of, all members of the team were so helpful in getting everything set up and handled every conflict calmly and with efficiency. The day was beyond what I could have imagined and it wouldn't have been without everyone at the farnam--from the bellhop, to Sarah the incredible coordinator, to the desk staff handing champagne on check in, to the chauffeur who escorted us around Omaha for photos. They were all amazing people to work with and treated us so special.

We booked the Farnam for both our wedding ceremony and reception - in summary the attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and "all inclusiveness" were elements that really made the Farnam a special vendor. They went beyond what the average venue does and demonstrated the best form of hospitality, they made sure we had everything needed to have a carefree evening, they were very responsive to any concerns that arose. My husband and I continually said to each other that we were so happy with our event and with choosing the Farnam. Plus we LOVED the Christmas lights at Gene Leahy across the street! Being 100% honest, we don’t have one single complaint, big or small, about this place. They were professional yet very reassuring. The food is amazing. The staff, especially Sarah and Hope, are quick to make sure that your questions are answers, your requests are fulfilled and they really do care about the details and make it their mission to make the event unforgettable, unique and special. You definitely get your moneys worth here. We are already planning on going back for our anniversary in a year.

The team at The Farnam is top notch, we could not have imagined a more accommodating venue. All of the employees were beyond welcoming to of our guests. The banquet team and Sarah made sure that everything went exactly to plan during the day. Working with Sarah throughout the planning process was so wonderful - she was there to assist with everything every step of the way. We are still continuing to get compliments for The Farnam from our guests!

We had our wedding this year on May 18th at The Farnam. Prior to the wedding we had stayed at The Farnam and absolutely loved the hotel and its aesthetic. We met with Sarah, one of the managers there, and felt instantly at ease with how organized she was. She went over all the details and options for their weddings and gave us a tour of the property. The design/building speaks for itself, but its the people that worked there that really made us decide that this would be our wedding Venue. During the planning process we met with several other people including their chef, bar manager, bartenders, and others like Steven, Irv, and Hope. Everything about our wedding turned out perfect, and we cannot recommend The Farnam enough. We are so happy to have a hotel to come back to on a regular basis, to relive all of our great memories from the day of our wedding. We would highly recommend having your wedding at this hotel, and dealing with all the wonderful people there. Kuddos to everyone involved in the planning process, but especially Sarah, Hope, Steven, and Irv. Thank you for all your help, and we hope others have the pleasure in dealing with that team during their wedding planning process. If you plan to have your wedding in downtown Omaha, The Farnam should be on the top of your list.

The Farnam was the PERFECT place to stay for our wedding weekend. The entire hotel was beyond accommodating and made it feel like home for us and all of our guests. We reserved one of each of their suites as well as normal King and Queen rooms and all exceeded our expectations! The beauty of the hotel is also unmatched - perfect for wedding photos!

Sarah, one of the managers at the Farnam, made the planning process a breeze and was one of the most delightful persons to work with.

The day after our wedding, they hosted a brunch for our guests and the service and food was excellent.

The Farnam Hotel was the PERFECT venue for us. While we’ve been living in Omaha for a while, our families and friends are spread across the county. Finding a venue that would be welcoming to everyone was one of our top priorities.

With that said, the support and customer service from everyone at the Farnam was nothing short of excellent. Everyone from Sarah & Blake on the events team, to Derik the valet, to Irv and Abby on the service team, and everyone in between. They catered to everyone needs, us, our families, and our guests, all throughout the weekend. Several of our guests said we had spoiled them with such a wonderful hotel and venue, but it was truly the Farnam team. No doubt they have a true passion for hospitality.

The food and drinks, simply put, were delicious. The dinner tasting with the Chef was fantastic, and we had a blast with Blake crafting a signature cocktail.

The greatest benefits being at the Farnam had to be the sense that we had full access throughout the day, and felt that we were the top priority. We were not given strict start & stop times. We had private access to the beautiful Catalyst lounge for our first look and private vows. We were also allowed to use additional conference rooms for vendor space and a “decompression/chill room” during the hectic cocktail hour. They even supported our unique guest activity. Overall, we found there to be a perfect balance between easy decisions (required to cater food & drink through the hotel & restaurant) and customization (layout of the room for dinner and the ceremony, decor, and timeline).

We can only hope we’re invited to a future wedding at the Farnam so we can experience it again!

The Farnam is a fantastic choice for your wedding venue. Sarah Wynn and Sam Taggart were so helpful through the whole process.

The price is phenomenal for the value of the Farnam experience. The service was amazing and everyone was very kind. The suite we stayed out was exceptional! Sarah left a bottle of champagne and macrons for my now husband and I for when we showed up. I loved that little detail.

Sam and Sarah had to deal with my constant questions and pestering but they handled everything with quickness, grace and comfort.

Sarah helped plan everything for our wedding day. Food tasting was an awesome experience, picking out a napkin fold, going over scheduling, coordinating between vendors, offering candles and other wedding items so I didn’t have to rent or buy things. I mean everything was amazing.

I wish I had more photos of the venue but I’m writing this before the pictures are done. It’s a beautiful space and makes quite the statement. We loved the balcony with a view to downtown and the Riverfront. We got some awesome photos out there.

Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to get married downtown. You can’t find anything better.

The Staff at the Farnam are true professionals who went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend special. They provided a level of customer service that exceeded our expectations. From the doorman, front desk, bartenders wait staff and cleaning crew everyone was friendly and helpful! Sarah the event coordinator is experienced, kind and organized. The food was delicious and well presented. The venue is beautiful and provided a perfect backdrop for our reception. The farewell brunch was the perfect wrap up to the weekend! We couldn't have chosen a better place to host our guests. Heartfelt Thank You to Sarah and Staff!

From the very first moment we walked into the Farnam, without an appointment on a busy Saturday night, to look at the Ballroom, their customer-centric attitude and attention do detail was outstanding. Everyone involved with our event was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was exceptional. They are not inexpensive, but absolutely worth every penny.

I really don't have enough words to describe how amazing it was to have our wedding at The Farnam. I was an out of town bride and booked our reception after doing a hard hat tour in Spring of 2021 and seeing the planned renderings. I have to be honest - I was already biased because I am in the industry and trusted that it would turn out beautiful, but when we finally had the chance to come in and see the hotel completed 9 months later, we were absolutely blown away. With this gorgeous space came even better service! I worked with a couple of different people during the planning process (this is normal for this industry, by the way!) and every single one of my notes and details were perfectly passed along. Because I've been in the industry and this wasn't my first experience with weddings, they had their work cut out for them having to work with me - LOL! Darby and her Event Staff (Abby, Irv, etc) were exceptional. You could not have guessed that we planned this whole wedding from 500 miles away! The food was top-notch, the drinks were amazing, and the hotel itself is so stunning that I didn't feel the need to overcomplicate the decor and event styling. Half of our guests were from out of town, so it was incredibly convenient to have accommodations and the event in the same building. Everyone enjoyed all of the outlets such as the Catalyst bar and Dynamite during the wedding weekend. Again, their staff was so attentive, accommodating, and absolutely lovely to work with. They worked with my other wedding vendors so well, something that you don't necessarily think about when putting together your team. Trust me when I say having your wedding here is worth every single penny. My friends and family still talk about our weekend and how fabulous it was being at the Farnam. Thank you to every single person who helped bring our dream day to life!
