We had our May 1st wedding at The Farmhouse and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Katie was our wedding coordinator and was open to answering any questions we had during the wedding planning process. She regularly kept in contact with us leading up to the event to ensure that everything was in order. The staff was also very attentive to our needs on the day of. We brought floral garlands to put on the pergola near the ceremony site and were told that we would have to arrange for someone arrive early to set it up. To our surprise, the pergola was beautifully done by the staff at the farmhouse and looked exactly like the picture. I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for an affordable wedding venue that includes most of the essentials. They include the cost of a wedding cake and floral table centerpieces if you work with their vendors. This is such a great value.

The Perfect Wedding!
As the father of the bride, I honestly had some doubts that The Farmhouse could make my daughter’s wedding perfect. We were planning a smaller wedding (105 guests or so), and based on reviews, my daughter chose the venue. I felt comfortable after our initial visit, but still was skeptical. Well, fast forward to rehearsal day, and after walking into our setup room, my doubts quickly vanished. The venue was beautifully decorated, and the grounds were fully maintained.
Our coordinators had us perfectly prepared. The night was magical! We had ample room for a dancefloor, Schaffer Sound keep the party going nonstop after all the preliminaries, and also provided up-lighting in the venue. The sound was perfect! Our dinners were promptly served hot and delicious. Our guests were delighted! Our families and friends had a wonderful time! And The Farmhouse venue and staff played a major role in our perfect wedding day! Thank you so much!

The Perfect Wedding
My daughter's wedding was this past weekend. The Farmhouse staff took care of every detail perfectly. All I had to do was show up & enjoy our guests. The setting was beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was perfectly on point. I believe that at our sit down dinner, every guest was served within 5 minutes. If we could afford to get married every weekend, we would at the Farmhouse!!!!!!!!
Getting married is one of the most important choices of your life and we are glad we chose to do it at the Farmhouse. There is no other place we’d want to play a central part of our wedding day. We knew the Farmhouse was special the moment we saw the gold plated mirrors covering the walls in the main reception area! From that moment on, it was clear the Farmhouse and their staff pay attention to detail and are incredible at creating special days and little moments for the couples they work with. We worked with Anna and were greeted with kindness, excitement, and openness to executing our ideas and aesthetics. Anna played a huge role in keeping our spirits high and making it an overall smooth and wonderful planning process. WE LOVED the space: outdoor, indoor, and separate rooms to break up the venue space was wonderful. It was much more intimate and exciting than some of the other venues we have been to that tend to only include one big room. We were happy to be able to float around and dance with our loved ones inside on the dance floor, chat with people near their tables or the various stations, go to one of two bars, or hangout on the deck or in the grass. We saw that a lot of the kids gravitated to playing outside with the games, leaving the party space to the adults. Some of the older individuals floated into the smaller rooms at times. The deck area was loved by all who needed to take a breath or cool off. We highly recommend this venue because it is great in that it gives something for all types of guests to do whether that be drinking, dancing, lounging, playing games, etc. The food was wonderful from our perspective. We asked some of the haters in our life what they thought out of curiosity and they all also loved the food. The Farmhouse did a great job at coordinating with all of our vendors, ensuring we were all in the same area. Our guests complimented the outdoor space, greenery, staff kindness, and experience. Wedding of our dreams made smooth and affordable with The Farmhouse
My husband and I got married in September 2022 and Laura was our coordinator. We planned our wedding in three months, starting with booking The Farmhouse in late June, and Laura was extremely accommodating of the short timeline. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave us recommendations for the vendors we needed to book ourselves (many services typically a-la-carte are included at the Farmhouse - huge plus), and seamlessly coordinated things on the day-of. We got a lot of compliments from guests about the impeccably manicured grounds, delicious food (seriously some of the best wedding food I've had), and beautiful building. The existing decorations are nice enough that not many additional decorations are needed. The staff were also top-notch, noticing little details like when I got a small stain on my dress, and coming through with soda water and a bleach pen. Shoutout to Sam in particular, Laura's right-hand woman, for her part in making the day so special. We cannot recommend this venue enough. The team at The Farmhouse made planning and enjoying our wedding easier than we ever could have hoped!

The perfect venue at the pefect price!
Booking The Farmhouse for our venue was the best decision we made in our planning process. While finding and booking a venue can be one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding, the attentive and professional staff at The Farmhouse will make planning not only easy but ENJOYABLE! From touring the venue during an open house, to attending the tasting event, to the day itself, this venue exceeded our expectations at every turn.
Laura, our planner, was communicative and professional throughout the process. She answered every one of our questions and provided us excellent guidance on how to create an event that was memorable and enjoyable for all. After watching her buzz around the day of our wedding taking care of EVERY detail, our family now simply refers to her as "Wonder Woman." Both she and the staff made sure every facet of our wedding day was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Our guests raved about the quality of the service from every member of the staff.
But the rave review did not stop there! We heard from numerous guests that the food, from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the entrees, were the BEST food they have ever had at a wedding. I will say, we have to agree.
Finally, I am so thankful to have found such a beautiful venue that offered so many options for pictures. The ceremony site is gorgeous and green and the house itself provides a perfect atmosphere. I am shocked this venue is not booked years in advance but I will always be grateful to have celebrated our day at a venue that provided us service, a beautiful space, and delicious food all at an affordable price.

Elegant, great food, easy set up and take down

"They took great care of my wife, and that's all that matters"
We planned our wedding in under six months and (having never done this before) had no idea what we were doing. Katie was very understanding from the beginning and worked to really understand what we wanted and helped us figure out the best path to get there. The team there is very busy (understandably so) and I was a little nervous that we would feel generic and rushed because of it, but the day of, the team's service well exceeded our expectations. Katie was proactive in anticipating things we might need, attentive if we did need anything, and extremely professional. (She also was wise in paying extra attention to the bride! haha) The whole night was beyond what we imagined and the setting, food, and service at the Farmhouse really made for a phenomenal celebration.

There was cake and flower centerpieces included with the package. Everything was absolutely clean and sparkling. The owner of the venue was amazing the night of the wedding. She made sure we had drinks and everything was picked up and running smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about this whole process. This is an absolutely stunning place to get married at. I wouldn’t even think twice about another place!!

The best wedding venue!!
The Farmhouse was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding! Planning a wedding is extremely overwhelming and there’s so many decisions that need to be made. The Farmhouse was so great with alleviating stress. We brought our decorations and told them our ideas and they set it all up for us! Also having other vendors that work closely with them helped us immensely, as most everything was included in venue price and we really only needed to find a dj and photographer after booking with them! The food was great, the service was wonderful and everything was just a dream come true! 10/10 would recommend!!

The best day ever
The Farmhouse was more than we could have asked for. We had both our micro wedding ceremony there and a year later our reception. They were very accommodating to all the date changes due to COVID, and kept us up to date on latest restrictions. Katie made sure everything ran smooth both days and was always in contact with us. The Farmhouse came with everything we could have wanted for such a great deal!

Why does anyone get married anywhere else?
Honestly I can’t understand why anyone would ever want to get married anywhere else. The prices are so reasonable. They include everything you could ever possibly need and take so much pressure off when it comes to planning by including a wedding coordinator. They have certain decor items including table numbers, centerpieces (yes your floral centerpieces are INCLUDED), easels, shepherd’s hooks, cake stands, table linens, and more are all included in your package. If you have a vision they will help you achieve it! Everyone who works there is super friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. The food is AMAZING. Their outdoor and indoor spaces are absolutely stunning. My wedding day was beautiful and so easy going thanks to Laura, my wedding coordinator, who took every curveball the day had in store for us and totally knocked it out of the park.

Outstanding Wedding Venue--Loved Everything!
We cannot say enough good things about our wedding reception at the Farmhouse! We married last year in late Spring and are late in writing this review, but we didn’t want to rush so that we could capture and share the amazing experience we had at the Farmhouse. Laura was key in helping us pull everything together! We asked her for suggestions on vendors, set-up, and more—and we were thrilled on how everything turned out. I (the bride was nervous) through the planning process, but Laura was always so patient with me. The venue was beautiful with so many details taken care of by their packages. I heard from my guests that the staff were super friendly and professional, and across the board we loved the food—it was like a gourmet dinner. It was so important to us that our guests had a great time and they still rave about our wedding at the Farmhouse! Laura and her team made me feel like a queen and our guests feel special. This was truly the perfect venue. We had less than 8 months between our engagement and our wedding and there is no way we could have done it as stress-free if we had gone with anyone else. The fact that there is so much included in the base price of this venue (cake, centerpieces, buffet, open bar, ceremony, reception, gratuities, tax), it made planning so easy. And for everything else we had Laura. She always responded to my email promptly and kindly, no matter how many I sent, and kept the entire day of completely painless. our wedding was absolutely perfect, and I have the Farmhouse to thank for that. ideal for younger couples or those on a more strict budget. What can I say that hasn't already been said. Pick this venue!!!! You will NOT regret it. They were absolutely amazing in every single aspect of the wedding planning and process. Katie nailed it, I could not have envisioned a more perfect wedding day and I know it would not have been possible without choosing the Farmhouse.
Great value for the price, very competitive for venues in the area and well worth every penny. We chose to have a Friday night ceremony. It was a little rainy but we ultimately kept the ceremony outside and it was beautiful! The food was delicious and everything about the day was seamless. This was all thanks to Katie. She is a pro. She and her team pulled the day together perfectly.

October Wedding 2019
The Farmhouse went above and beyond all of our expectations! We had a mid-October wedding at the Farmhouse, and can't recommend this venue enough. Katie was extremely helpful, responsive, and eager to help. She gave us a ton of suggestions, and still let us customize our wedding to exactly how we wanted it. She was extremely helpful during our wedding day and sequenced the day exactly how we wanted it - my wife and I barely had to think of anything on our day.
We went to the food tasting, which was very well organized and allowed us to make informed decisions for our menu. The food was amazing! We had the salmon and London broil; and we got so many compliments from all our guests on how tender and delicious both were. We had about 120 guests, and the layout and spacing of the venue was absolutely perfect.
We would very highly recommend this venue to everyone! Not one single thing went wrong - this speaks highly to the experience and dedication of all those who work at the Farmhouse.

The Farmhouse is beautiful and has so much charm that you don't need extra decor. Anna coordinated our wedding and did a great job! She answered all our questions promptly and made planning low stress. Very professional and on top of things. From the very beginning, Katie and her team were so amazing to work with and have as a part of my wedding team. Katie helped me with every decision, and was so flexible and accommodating on the wedding day.
She turned my vision into a reality! Every little detail or item I purchased, her and her team set up in the most beautiful ways possible. It was so hot on my wedding day, and she made the ceremony go so quickly and smoothly so our guests could get inside fast.
I cannot say enough about how amazing working with the Farmhouse was. AND, on top of all of that, the all-inclusive pricing was fantastic. I looked at about 10 venues before touring the Farmhouse, and their pricing by far was THE best. I mean, OPEN BAR, cake, all settings and help the day of, centerpieces, and the venue was under $12,000 for about 90 guests. You cannot beat that; on top of the fact that the property was just beautiful period.
I loved everything about my experience at the Farmhouse and will always recommend it as a top choice for any wedding!

The Farmhouse was such an amazing venue to host my wedding at. The farmhouse took care of everything! Since I am located in FL and my family is in DE, the farmhouse made the process very smooth for my husband and I. If you are looking for a place that has a day of coordinator that makes sure all your needs are met, this is the place. Also they include a florist and cake which they help facilitate. The farmhouse also have a few preferred vendors for both photography and DJ which was such a huge help. All of my wedding guest couldn’t stop complimenting on how great the food was and what a beautiful wedding we had. The Farmhouse is Perfect!
My daughter just had her wedding reception here. We were so happy she and her husband chose The Farmhouse! Anna was so attentive, so good at communicating, so professional and made us feel relaxed and comfortable heading into the big day! The food was amazing. Our guests loved it. They even had pansies planted on the grounds to make the cold blustery day seem more springlike! If we had it to do over we would certainly pick this place right away.

My fiancé (now husband!) and I initially chose The Farmhouse based on price, location and just how much they included in their price (cake, fresh floral centerpieces, hotel room and shuttle for our guests...the list goes on! Check it out!) but knowing what I know now, I’d have booked them regardless. Katie worked close with us and (I’m not kidding here) our wedding day ran so smooth and perfect 100% because of her. She made sure we knew what to expect ahead of time at every turn and was so responsive to every email I sent her. I really cannot recommend The Farmhouse enough! Thank you guys!!

AMAZING! My husband and I could not be happier with our selection of the Farmhouse for our wedding venue. From the moment I reached out until the moment we left the night of our wedding, Laura and her team made us feel like we were the only wedding in the world. She was obviously very knowledgeable on the routines of weddings and she made us feel comfortable letting her take control of our special day. The atmosphere was perfect, and we still are so thankful we went with the Farmhouse. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a calm, stress free venue and coordinator. My husband and I had our wedding at the farmhouse last weekend (sept 9) and I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this venue is. We had Laura as our coordinator and she went above and beyond to make our day perfect. She was very quick to respond to emails and answered any questions I had. I fell in the love with the venue last October when I went for an open house. The packages were great, the decor was very pretty and the grounds are beautiful. We were having our ceremony there as well. The outdoor ceremony area is beautiful and I was so excited to have it there. However it ended up pouring all day long. I was nervous with how an indoor ceremony would play out because that was never how I had pictured it and it was honestly so much better than I could’ve imagined. I’m the type of person who loves to decorate and I had a lot of decorations for the reception, but Laura made everything look so perfect. All of the staff made sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the reception by making sure we had food and making sure we had something to drink throughout the evening. We had just under 100 people and it did not feel overly crowded because things were spaced out well. We also had the open photo booth and our guests loved using it. Our guests also raved about the food and so many of them told us it was the best wedding and nicest venue they had ever been to. We honestly could not be more pleased with how our day went and we are so happy we chose the farmhouse!

We had the most AMAZING wedding at The Farmhouse! The food was amazing! Our friends and family are still raving about it!! Katie and Laura are experts in wedding coordination! Super friendly but super professional! The process was very stress free! Prices were very good for the awesome service they provided! WOW! The Farmhouse! I can't say enough about this place. We had an outdoor wedding planned but unfortunately it rained, the Farmhouse staff quickly made our indoor experience amazing and intimate. Laura was AMAZING! She attended to our every need and there were a bunch! The food got rave reviews from all of our guests (I recommend the bacon wrapped scallops). The organization of this place was top notch from the open house where we decided to use them until the last guest left.
They took all the worry out of the wedding process by having amazing vendors for florist, cake maker, photographers, DJ, and on site catering. Our guests loved the venue, we heard continuously about how beautiful the decor was.
Even though we had the wedding timed down to the minute, when things went longer than planned they worked with the changes and never once made us feel pressured or hurried.
Laura was available to us all the time both during and prior to the wedding.

I cannot say enough about this venue. It was honestly better than we we could have hoped for. Katie was our coordinator and she was on top of everything and everyone- she made the day run so smoothly and we can't thank her enough. Everything from the food to the ambience was impeccable. They also provide the cake and center pieces in their prices per person which are extremely reasonable. My husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot with The Farmhouse! I only have good things To say about this venue! It was perfect and even now that my wedding is over I still want to go back and enjoy being at this venue because it is so quaint and rustic and elegant in every way. Katie answered my emails promptly and answered any questions. All of my decor was set up just how I wanted and the way she decorated the archway for the ceremony was exactly like the picture I showed her from Pinterest! I was impressed with everything. The food was even better than at the tasting and all my decor was collected and ready to go by the end of the wedding. The entire ceremony went perfectly and Katie was there making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. I literally did not have an ounce of stress or worry the entire night of my wedding. Planning was so stress free and you really get so much with this package. Loved every second of it and not a single problem! BOOK THEM!

This was the perfect venue for our wedding. Their attention to detail is incredible. When we went to an open house, they were setting up for that night's wedding and I saw staffers checking each glass for water spots, cleaning the parking lot and front porch, etc. The planning process was very thorough and Laura made it so easy. When I asked to have our planning meeting a month early, she accommodated. Inside and outside was absolutely beautiful. The staff was incredibly attentive, and as our coordinator, Laura kept checking in to make sure everything was going as we expected. And then there were the little things - a cheese plate and water delivered to the getting ready rooms, being able to come an hour early, feeding the vendors real meals. They accommodated all of our requests too - from having toys in the kids room to building our puzzle guest book to using our own table numbers/signs. The outdoor ceremony site is wired for sound too, so everyone could hear our vows clearly. I can't express enough how perfect our day was, and a lot of that has to do with the excellent coordination happening at the Farmhouse. I highly recommend.

From our first look we knew the space at The Farmhouse was the right place for our wedding. Katie and Lauren made sure we were signed up for the next tasting and followed up with all the details needed. The food at the first tasting was good but even better the night of, keep that in mind! Throughout our planning they were very responsive to questions and always followed up promptly. As we got closer and closer they continued to check in on details and had all her notes available for us to review. On the day Katie was on top of every detail, working right with the DJ and Photographer. The staff hired for the evening were very professional also. Bottom line, we were completely satisfied by The Farmhouse and would definitely recommend to anyone!

The Farmhouse met my husband's and my every need! We stumbled upon The Farmhouse and discovered that they included catering, a baker, and a florist, which took so much off of our plate. Katie, our coordinator, was very responsive and attentive the entire time we were planning and took amazing care of us the day of our wedding! We would absolutely recommend the Farmhouse to anyone who wanted personalized attention in a beautiful and intimate setting. We knew on our first visit to the Farmhouse and meeting with Katie that it was where we wanted to get married. We held our April 21, 2017 wedding at the Farmhouse and we could not have been more pleased!!!!!! We worked with Laura, who was INCREDIBLE! Whether you are a couple who knows exactly what you want or one who will know what they want when they see it, your wedding is in EXCELLENT hands. Laura was very helpful with providing choices and really listening to what was important to us. She also gave us invaluable guidance about our choices. I always felt she welcomed my emails and calls; I never felt like a bother and she always devoted her full attention to my needs. I didn't have to worry about a thing, as I knew Laura was thinking of EVERYTHING. I also greatly appreciated Laura being the "enforcer" the day of the wedding. I was able to completely enjoy myself, as she handled all guest questions and concerns. Best of all, she did so with kindness and professionalism, so ALL our guests RAVED about the setting and service!! We can never thank Laura and her staff enough for all they did for us!

Planning a wedding in my hometown of Delaware from California (and marrying a British Australia who was living in Sydney through the planning phase) could have been the most stressful experience ever. It was very important to find a venue we loved but also would make things really easy especially since we had to pick the venue SIGHT UNSEEN!
Katie was The Farmhouse was just FANTASTIC! She was able to fulfill every request we had and helped come up with ideas and options for what we could do to make our wedding personalized and reflect us. The Farmhouse has all-inclusive packages which just makes wedding planning simple and easy. Belak Flowers and Desserts by Dana were spectacular and made our flowers, cake and dessert bar shine.
Katie was super helpful and patient (with me) throughout the planning and kept up with my very OCD detailed asks. She was always available, very responsive and incredibly detailed oriented - which gives you such confidence in the venue and the people there - especially since I asked a ton of questions (especially on how certain décor pieces would work and catering to all our small touches).
On the Wedding Day, the venue was breathtaking. If you ever need to pick a venue blindly…you can feel comfortable that The Farmhouse is the perfect place. Beautiful outdoor space for our ceremony, outdoor deck space, and lots of rooms throughout the house itself. And again, Katie was amazing, making sure everything we executed to perfection. She was also fantastic checking in on us and making sure we had food and drinks. You'll love getting married here and appreciate the lack of stress that you feel and the confidence that you will have in the people and venue.

Working with The Farmhouse made planning our reception very simple! The woman working with us communicated clearly and promptly and made sure the preparations were in place so that we and our guests were able to relax and celebrate on the day of the event. Our guests enjoyed the space, and we received many compliments about the venue. The only drawback was that we had no choice but to use the flower vendor with whom they are contracted (for centerpieces only). They are, though, very dedicated to making sure your event is everything you envision. All in all, we were extremely pleased with our experience there!

The team at the Farmhouse was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Katie and Laura were always quick to answer questions through phone and email. The weather forecast predicted rain all week leading up to the wedding- there was great communication about what our options were and how the decision would be made about whether to hold our ceremony indoors or outdoors. We wound up holding the ceremony indoors and it was still perfect in every way. The reception was flawless from start to finish, and we got so many compliments on the food from the hors d'oeuvres through the dessert. Our late April wedding at the Farmhouse was everything we were hoping for on our perfect day! Katie was our coordinator and was available to answer any questions we had through the planning process - we had a meeting 3 months out from our wedding date and another a couple weeks before to finalize the details. She was very accommodating to all of my requests for the day and her and the team worked hard to make the whole day stress free for everyone. Since ours was the only wedding that day we were able to arrive at 3pm to finish getting ready and do a first look before our 5:30pm ceremony. Staff was always on hand to bring food and drinks to us and our bridal party and Katie checked in at every step to keep everyone updated about where we needed to be. The food was incredible, just as awesome as at our tasting, and it was nice to have both the main bar and the outside deck bar for guests to grab drinks and mingle. We brought in minimal decorations since the rustic farmhouse and gorgeous willows and flowers outside were perfect backdrops for our photos, but what we did bring was set up by staff perfectly with minimal instructions from us. Highly recommend the Farmhouse for anyone looking for a rustic romantic vibe for a stress-free, fun wedding!

My husband Zach and I got married at the Farmhouse on November 6, 2016 and we couldn't have had a more perfect day! Right from the start we were impressed with this venue. The packages they offer are amazing, affordable, and include a lot for your money! We worked with Katie in planning our wedding and she was absolutely outstanding. She was so attentive to every detail and made sure the day ran smoothly. The food and atmosphere were also incredible and we got many comments from our guests about how impressed they were. We definitely recommend The Farmhouse to anyone looking for a perfect place to have their wedding or any other special occasion!

The farmhouse was a wonderful wedding venue. It was so helpful to have the staff decorate the facility for you. The food was amazing! Everyone who attended our wedding has told us how much fun they had and how beautiful the venue is. It was definitely worth every penny! The staff was very attentive to the brides and grooms needs on the day of the wedding. Drinks were delicious. We don't have any complaints. It turned out to be a beautiful time and there was barely any stress on us because of all the help the staff did for us. It was our dream wedding! We were able to enjoy ourselves and celebrate our marriage with our friends and families, without having to worry about anything. The staff guides you every step of the way on the big day. We highly recommend the farmhouse to any couple!

When we met with Katie, owner/wedding coordinator, I warned her that I was from NY and was very picky about service. She stated that she was picky as well! The service was impeccable and the entire staff was professional and attentive. Katie was beautifully dressed (seems small, but we were at a wedding that the planner was wearing yoga pants) and worked VERY hard along with her staff to be sure that everyone was well taken care of.
I am sure that I am missing 1,000 small things that were done but to name a few:
1. Katie met the guests as they were walking in, lovely to have someone greet your guests and show them to the door.
2. When the bridesmaids arrived, they were escorted to the Bride's Room and within minutes ice water was brought up.
3. Our decorations were beautifully arranged at the location. The groom said that the displays surpassed his exceptions.
4. When the bride and groom arrived and the formal photos were being taken, staff brought water and food to the couple. Of course they were starving!
5. We were running a little late and Katie was flexible; she asked me if we wanted to push everything forward a half an hour (again, something that seems small, but I have seen wedding planners that bluster around pointing at their watches when the time is off). Basically there was no drama with the lateness!
My daughter and son in law did not want to have alcohol at their wedding, this was not an issue. They were very flexible and wanted us to have the type of wedding that the couple wanted. There was nothing that we asked for that was not accommodated.
I had numerous guests comment about how delicious the food was and how attentive the service was. I could not agree with them more! Katie was wonderful to deal with, she is professional and calm and delivers amazing service. We could not be happier that we decided to have my daughter's wedding there.

We absolutely loved The Farmhouse!!! It is the perfect location for a ceremony and reception, which was our decision. The grounds are not just beautiful, they are exceptional! The biggest draw for us to The Farmhouse was the inclusive packages they offer. For everything that you receive in the package the price is unbelievable and affordable! Our coordinator, part of the package, handled all of the details with great expertise on our day and leading up to our day. Laura was so down-to-earth and we really got along. She was matter of fact about what really wouldn't work and excited for our new ideas. The food was phenomenal!!!!! It is catered in-house and part of the package. There is so much more to gush about but the greatest compliment we received was that our guests loved The Farmhouse too! Everyone commented on how it is a hidden gem. We had a fantastic wedding because of this amazing venue!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful wedding and reception at The Farmhouse earlier this year. The organizers planned a seamless event, so we were able to have our ceremony outside and then immediately transition inside for the reception. Our 5-pc band and 100 guests fit perfectly in the main room. The organizers even took care of seating for guests not on the RSVP list - thanks, ladies! There was no drama, and everyone seemed to have fun. I loved having a one-stop venue so that we could efficiently plan our wedding and also minimize down time for guests during the event.

The Farmhouse is the perfect place! The grounds are beautifully landscaped, there is a place for your ceremony and inside for the cocktail hour and reception. This is a one stop shop that is so different from your typical hotel wedding. Our guests had a great time and loved walking the grounds to take their own pictures. The staff worked with us from beginning to the very end and even are checking on us a few months after the wedding. The little added touches of elegance in this place made everyone feel comfortable. The added amenities were a plus!

We had our wedding at the end of October. It was everything thing that we ever wanted it to be. Katie and the Farmhouse staff were above and beyond amazing. From the details that the farmhouse does to the details that we added. They really took the time to get every last thing right. Our wedding day, Katie made sure that we were taken care of at all time. I cant tell you how many of our guests came up to us to tell us how beautiful this venue is. The guest also could not stop talking about the food it was delicious. We had the crab cake and stuffed pork loin, you can not go wrong with either choice. We would recommend this amazing, gorgeous venue to anyone. There really isn't one negative thing I could say. YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH CHOOSING THE FARMHOUSE!! <3

This venue is great! The price includes food, open bar, cake, linens and centerpieces, as well as ceremony chairs. It made it so much easier to plan the wedding. The food is awesome, and the venue is beautiful.

My husband and I got married at the Farmhouse over the summer. We had our wedding in the back outdoor area and the reception inside the farmhouse with the back bar/patio open.
The staff was amazing from the very beginning, including the months leading up to the wedding. They were helpful in finding all the vendors we used and were more than accommodating with the requests we made.
All the options they offer are VERY affordable and you get more than you pay for.
The outdoor area is enchanting and the inside is a beautiful renovated farm house.
One huge bonus was how amazing the food was! They serve a hot meal to every person, their course selection is extensive and unique, and everything was delicious.
Check this venue out, they always have open houses, you won't be disappointed!

Honestly words cannot express how thankful I am to Laura and the Farmhouse staff. From our first interaction to last interaction Laura proved why her venue is highly ranked. Laura paid attention to detail and made every attempt to make our wedding even more special. Our wedding day was beautiful and the ceremony site and reception decor was breathtaking. My husband and I found the Farmhouse through various reviews and it fit our "rustic" themed wedding perfectly. Upon walking onto the acres that the Farmhouse occupies, your breath is instantly taken away by the sheer beauty of the willow trees and the house itself!
Katie was our personal wedding coordinator and I think she did a perfect job. I have to say that quite honestly, perfect is not in my vocabulary because there is always need for improvement, but Katie fit the definition to a "T". She was patient, very thorough, in constant contact if I had a question, and above all -- the pricing was less than I could have imagined.

We booked this venue in November 2014 for our September 2015 wedding. We had 90 people, and held the ceremony and reception here. We used Mary Elizabeth for flowers, and OHS entertainment for our DJ.
It has a beautiful inside, as well as two pretty options for the ceremony outside. Laura and Katie worked with us and always were quick to answer any questions or concerns. The day of the wedding, Laura did an AWESOME job running things and keeping us on schedule, and probably tons of other things that I never even knew about. It went off without any issues. The food was great (all the guests were and have been telling us, too), the bartenders were quick, and everything was perfect.
If you are looking for a venue in Delaware, this is the one to use. In the costs, they include: a cake, centerpieces, table settings and covers, all set up and break down of everything, petals down the aisle, and other stuff too depending on which meal options you choose. We planned this remotely while living in Richmond, Virginia. We took a couple of trips up there, but it was incredibly easy to organize everything since they vendors work together so well (cake, dj, farmhouse).

My daughter and son in law were married at the Farmhouse recently and I highly recommend this venue!! We had approximately 140 guests and everyone praised the venue, the food, and the entire experience as being one of the best they've had! The staff was extremely professional, the food was fantastic, and the venue is so romantic and perfect for a wedding! They were able to present my daughter's vision perfectly! The Farmhouse itself is settled on picturesque grounds which made for so many picture taking opportunities! The outdoor space for the wedding was beautiful!
The owner of this venue is very professional and knows what brides today are looking for. Laura worked with us on every detail--and even some we hadn't thought of! The bridal suite is a perfect space for putting on the final touches! This venue is a welcome change from the large halls with high ceilings of today. It offers a more intimate and romantic setting that made everyone feel a part of the festivities. We had plenty of room for dancing the night away!!

I booked the farmhouse 6 months ago for my wedding 10/15/16 and they have been nothing short of amazing. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the farmhouse and it was the most amazing night ever! The food was great as was the service. Our family and friends raved about how nice the farmhouse was and how they had a great time. Our coordinator, Laura, was extremely professional and attentive. There was extensive contact throughout the planning process and all questions and concerns were handled promptly.
Their packages have inclusions (centerpieces, cake, etc.) that other local venues charge extra for and their overall prices are below market average without sacrificing quality.
During our ceremony we had an issue with one of the preferred vendors. This issue was strictly between us and the 3rd party vendor and was in no way the fault or responsibility of the Farmhouse. Laura went above and beyond and took it upon herself to directly refund the money that this vendor owed us. They have since stopped doing business with this vendor. The Farmhouse clearly prides itself on its reputation.
We highly recommend The Farmhouse, you won't be disappointed.

Our wedding at the Farmhouse was truly a dream come true. From the moment we signed the contract, the previous year, to the day of the wedding it was nothing but seamless, professional and excellent service. The Farmhouse staff, especially Laura (my wedding coordinator), were so friendly and on top of everything. I have heard so many horror stories about brides who couldn't enjoy their day, Laura and staff made sure we were hydrated, comfortable and gently reminded us of the next event. Our ceremony was perfect, the weather cooperated and everyone had such a great time. Every guest I spoke with (and we agreed) the food was phenomenal. From the appetizers, the salads and the main course. We went for a three course option, chicken, filet and surf-n-turf and the guests LOVED it. I really got to enjoy my day and felt not pressures, no stress, nothing. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an "all in one" package.

We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon the Farmhouse. Katie and the entire team at the beautiful venue were incredibly helpful, prompt, and knowledgeable about everything. Basically, they made our lives 10x easier during this whole planning process! Having the cake, flowers, food, and drinks all included meant that we didn't have to keep track of multiple vendors—if we ever had a question, all we had to do was email or call Katie to confirm. When our search for a wedding venue began, I didn't know what to expect. Being a second wedding, I was sure that the 14 years that had passed would have made the possibility of affording a wedding impossible. The minute I walked into the Farmhouse, I KNEW our search was over. From the minute we started our tour during an Open House, everything felt like it was meant to be. The owners were attentive, knowledgeable of the needs of couples planning a wedding on a budget, open to additions and "extras" added to the ceremony and reception, and completely professional from start to finish. It made the decision to have our wedding there extremely easy. The planning process leading up to the wedding was made so much easier by their expertise and flexibility. We never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision, and when we headed into the final weeks prior to the wedding, they were constantly checking in on us and asking if we needed anything.
On the day of the wedding, from the minute we arrived at the Farmhouse, the staff did everything possible to calm our nerves and reassure us that everything would be taken care of exactly how we had planned. The facility looked beautiful, and little added personal touches were exactly what we hoped they would be. The ceremony and reception went off without a single issue. They had each phase of the event planned out to make things efficient and enjoyable, without the stress of worrying that something wouldn't get done.
I recommend anyone that is planning a wedding to go to an Open House at the Farmhouse. I can't thank them enough for what they did for us.

I couldn't be happier with the services The Farmhouse provided. The location is absolutely beautiful, the staff are polite and professional and Katie (the wedding planner provided by venue) was incredible. Katie was patient, accommodating, always responded within a timely fashion and courteous. Our wedding day went without a hitch thanks to her. The venue makes it easier on the Bride with preferred vendors, cake included if using a preferred vendor, in house catering, not having to rent linens or even center pieces as they are also provided by venue, and having a wedding planner there through out the process and on the day of to assure everything runs smoothly.

I am so thrilled that I chose to have my wedding at The Farmhouse and would recommend it to any future couple looking for a venue!! Everything was perfect for my ceremony and reception and all of the guests raved about how beautiful and unique it was. The grounds were impeccable and there were blooming flowers and plants everywhere! My coordinators Laura and Katie were so helpful throughout the entire planning process and were irreplaceable during my special day. The Farmhouse staff was so attentive and really made all of my guests feel at home. And the food... I wish I could eat their food every night!! Many of my guests are still talking about how delicious it was - especially the shrimp lejon and orangewood smoked turkey. My aunt was so blown away by the turkey carving station, she insisted on asking the chef how he prepared it so perfectly. And he was more than happy to tell her!!

If you are looking for a beautiful, intimate and comfortable place to have your wedding then I would highly recommend The Farmhouse. This venue is practically all inclusive and they have a preferred vendor list that takes all of the guess work out of planning. The food was absolutely amazing and my guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. The centerpieces were perfect and the colors matched my theme exactly. The staff was courteous and attentive. Katie, was never far out of sight and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. She kept us on top of our schedule when we were taking pictures and made sure our day went off without a hitch. We had our ceremony and reception inside and everything went perfectly. Our guests sat comfortably at their tables for the ceremony and everyone could see and hear everything. Our guest list was about 115 people and we had more than enough room to accommodate everyone, and it was intimate enough that everyone felt included in the party. If I had to choose all over again, I would most definitely choose The Farmhouse for my wedding venue and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding!

If the Farmhouse is Delaware's gem, that must make Laura a super star diamond! She made the whole wedding experience a breeze. She was patient and understanding of my attention to detail every step of the way. She walked us through everything, planned a superb ceremony, and kept a tight ship running all night long. The food was to die for. We had a sit down dinner of flounder stuffed with crab and the filet! As soon as the filet was served, I immediately had food envy--it could be cut with a butter knife!! A BUTTER KNIFE! The fish was delicious too! The cocktail hour was great. The bartenders kept up with our drinkers and the set up was perfect. I can't thank Laura for making our day anything other than perfection. My only regret is that I didn't get her in the photobooth with my husband and I! She's amazing, the venue is amazing, the ceremony site is beautiful, and the food awesome! Book here! Super easy, super convenient, and super perfect!

This venue was the absolute perfect venue and was gorgeous! It was nice to find a place that could do indoor/outdoor ceremonies in the event of rain as well as have places for people to mingle and stretch their legs after the ceremony. Great rustic feel to it and was an absolutely beautiful place. The ladies that run the Farmhouse are fantastic and have everything under control. They are always caught up to speed and go about everything in a professional manner. It was truly amazing having someone so talented at wedding coordinating making sure our wedding ran extremely smooth. Food was excellent as well! Overall it was a fantastic venue and I would recommend it to everyone.

Laura and the wait staff at The Farmhouse did an amazing job with my daughters wedding in September 2014. The grounds were clean and freshly manicured and easy for our elderly guests to navigate. The bridal/groomsmen rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of room for the bridal party of 10+ to easily maneuver around in. The reception hall was spacious, freshly decorated, absolutely beautiful and picture perfect. The food was perfect as well. It's been a month since the wedding and our family and guests are STILL talking about how wonderful everything was and they've never been to an event "THIS AMAZING"! Thank you, Laura and staff for making this moment a truly unforgettable one!!!

The Farmhouse was wonderful. Leading up to the wedding Katie was so responsive and helpful to all my little requests! During the wedding she made sure that my husband and I were catered to (even bringing drinks to us while we took pictures during cocktail hour!) They are so organized and helpful especially when it came to working with our other vendors and keeping my bridal party in order! The venue is so beautiful and everything went perfectly. It is a great value for all that is included and the food is amazing :)

The farmhouse was a great place to get married! They are so organized and take care of everything. From the time I first went there to check the place out to the time my wedding was over, the Farmhouse really outdid themselves!

The Farmhouse is breathtaking and the owners/team are just as incredible! From day one, Laura and Katie were going above and beyond to help me make my day everything it could be- super helpful, friendly and personable! They did so much for me and the wedding turned out great! The food is AMAZING and everything went off without any issues! Amazing staff and amazing venue!

The Farmhouse was absolutely amazing!! The service they provided was just perfect and beyond what I could have ever asked for. Katie was great at responding to my questions and she was so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. The food was amazing too and all our guests raved about it! We had bought the ceremony and the reception there. The ceremony site was beautiful, our pictures it looks like something out of a fairy tale with the trees and flowers. I can't say enough good things about the Farmhouse! Thank you for making our day so memorable!
