Absolutely perfect!!!

Amoré did my bridal hair and makeup as well as the hair for several of my bridesmaids and flower girls. She was the definition of professionalism! She was on time and had everybody done in time. Before beginning each service, she made sure to get a clear picture from each client on what style they wanted. My bridal HAMU was absolutely stunning beyond what I would have imagined and I received so many compliments. Amoré and The Fairest One are the real deal!!! She also came to our Airbnb and was super flexible even with a weird parking situation. Hire them ASAP if you want to look and feel beautiful for your special day!

Best Wedding Hair and Makeup for the whole crew

I hired them to do my wedding hair and makeup for myself, my 4 bridesmaids, mother, and flower girl! They did an amazing job! Emma is extremely talented and she helped us turn it into a party by jaming out to great music! She helped all of my girls look and feel beautiful! I am so grateful I hired them! My makeup and hair stayed flawless all night.

I just can say AMAZING!!!

I got my makeup and hairdo with The FairestOne and OMG I couldn't be happier with them. My wedding was postponed because of covid twice and then a third time because of the winter storm here in Texas. Every time I has to postpone they worked with me in the sweetest way ever imaginable. Also, add to this that I'm 58 years old and was very nervous about the makeup because I usually wear almost none. They knew about it and were super supportive. Finally, the wedding date was set up and Mirian came to do the job. She was amazingly supportive, super professional, sweet, and OMG she did an amazing job. Thanks to her I felt 10 years younger and beautiful!!!. I totally recommend this services, they are the best!!!..

Best decision I ever made!

I first experienced the talents of Mariam and the crew at The Fairest One 3 years ago when my sister-in-law got married. I was so impressed that when it was my turn, I immediately thought of hiring them. But I don't live in Houston, so I thought I would try one of my local beauty salons for my engagement photo shoot. Big mistake! I was so disappointed in how my hair and makeup looked that day that I knew I had to go with someone I could trust for my bridal portraits and wedding day. Believe it or not, even with the travel fee, the cost was comparable with my local vendors. More importantly, I looked and felt phenomenal--and my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law all felt and looked amazing too. Bottom line, I will sing Mariam's praises to anyone who will listen. TRUST ME. You cannot go wrong with hiring The Fairest One.

Wonderful job!

They did a wonderful job with my makeup and hair. We did a trial run and they really asked for what I wanted, not just do what they wanted. They were very flexible and great to work with. They are extremely professional. They arrived on time to the venue on our wedding day and worked through my mother, mother-in-law, bridesmaids, and me on that day very well. I was very concerned about finishing everyone in time, but they did very well and had time to touch up everyone's hair and makeup at the end. I highly recommend them.

Queens of Hair and Makeup

Mariam and Jen are queens!!! The are so fantastic and will not let you leave the chair without looking amazing. Obviously they will create the look you want, but what I really appreciated was their input about what would work with my hair and the colors that would be match my skin tone. I will for sure be using these ladies for any and every event in the future. My bridesmaids and I looked so gorgeous it was ridiculous.

Talented stylists, beautiful results

I booked the amazingly talented Fairest One team for both my engagement pictures and wedding after a recommendation by my photographer and I can’t say enough good things about them!
I absolutely loved my hair and make-up and both held up all night and even into the next day (haha).
The ladies did an amazing job at getting myself and my bridal party, mother and mother in law ready and handled the various stress levels and nerves amazingly, I am so grateful I am for all they did – they kept me chill, had an awesome sense of humor and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy.

MUA that Listens and Delivers!

From the moment I met Mariam she felt like friend. I went to her after a very bad trial run with another MUA and she listened to what I want AND achieved it. The makeup was flawless for my trial run and the wedding. I'm so glad I made the choice of The Fairest One!

Felt Beautiful!

I used The Fairest One when getting hair and makeup done for a fab 30th birthday photo shoot and left feeling and looking amazing! Perfect volume in my hair, with a glam look that I loved. Overall, great experience; Miriam is very knowledgable about what looks good on different skin tones, with different hair textures, etc. She even gave me a mini lip gloss of the color I was wearing so I could reapply later. Totally recommend!

Brandi & Jason’s wedding

Mariam, owner of The Fairest One, did my hair and make-up for my bridal shoot and our wedding. I had very detailed directions since I knew exactly what I wanted... and Mariam exceeded! I was so pleased with her services, and my husband thought I looked beautiful, so that’s all that matters right there!

The Fairest One, in general, was so easy. I was able to book a consultation right away, and we met for lunch. I was immediately drawn to her because of her personality. She made it very easy for me to explain what I wanted, being that she does hair and make-up not only for weddings, but lots of commercial shoots, fashion shows and huge events, which was a bonus for me because I requested hair and make-up that was not so bridal. She was always on time and completely prepared. Also, traveling to me was a big plus!

The Fairest One also have their own cosmetics that they have recently launched. She used several of their products on me for both my bridal shoot and wedding, and my hair and make-up still looked great at 1:00 am!

On another note, I just plain loved her! We had lots of laughs, as she’s a gorgeous, cool chick to chat with.

Thanks so much for all you did Mariam! I couldn’t have felt so confident without you.

I’ve never met a more incredible team! Professional, always on time & makeup and hair is ALWAYS up to perfection! Once you meet them it’s as if they read your mind & know exactly what look will fit best! I left it up to them & they made me look the best I’ve ever looked!! Most beautiful day of my life

Let me start with stating that I hate having my makeup done. I’ve been part of many weddings and typically shy away from that service because the stress of the final look drives me CRAZY! But WOW is all I can say for this duo. My trial was so easy and beautiful. They made suggestions and asked for my feedback before selecting my look. The makeup for my trial AND my wedding lasted all day and look stunning in my photos. My hair was soft and manageable but stayed styled throughout the day and night. My wedding was a Catholic mass followed by a 7 hour reception. My whole look finished as beautifully as it started and I have nobody to thank but these amazing women. They made me feel like a queen on the best day of my life and I will be forever grateful!

These lovely ladies have made my experience with cancer wonderful. They are always willing to work around my medical appointments to make sure that I rock the cancer experience. The quality of work these ladies do is unbelievable, from beginning to end their main priority is the client's satisfaction.

My hair and make up were on point couldn'thave been better. I've never felt that level of beauty. But that's just what they do. Lol

Mariam is hands down one of the absolute best make up artist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She's undoubtedly the best in Houston. Not only is she knowledgeable about makeup application. Had my makeup done my Mariam for a wedding, and it looked amazing! She took her time, and was very patient when my eyes would continuously water when applying lashes or make up to them. I was even given a smal tube of lipstick for touch ups post session. Always my go to make up artist in Houston!

Felt like a Queen the minute I sat in the chair!

My life was already crazy & I was full of nerves never using this artist for something so important, Mariam made me comfortable from the start. Mariam did an amazing job. We were unable to do a trial because of time, and she still did exactly what I wanted. She even asked my bridesmaids how I usually wore my makeup and what I liked to get an idea of what to do. My husband was very impressed as well! Totally Amazing!

Jennifer is THE best!

The whole bridal party wanted to hire Jennifer and take her home as their personal make up/ hair artist!

Not only did she do exactly what everyone wanted to their hair and make up but she actually did it better and added things we hadn’t even thought of!

We even had bridesmaids who had initially wanted to do their own make up and after seeing Jennifer’s work they changed their minds and Jennifer fitted everyone in on a last minutes notice!

I could not recommend The Fairest One more.

I chose The Fairest One after they did my cousin's makeup and hair for her wedding, and it was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding (besides marrying my now husband lol)! Mary and Emma were amazing! It didn't feel like I had hired some random professionals to do my hair and makeup, but instead it felt like a makeover you would have with your best friends. My bridesmaids and I had a blast working with them, and would definitely recommend The Fairest One to anyone looking to get their hair and makeup done for their wedding!

I found The Fairest One only 4 days before my wedding! They responded within minutes and made my reservation very quickly! Miriam came to my wedding in Galveston at Moody Gardens and did hair and makeup for my two daughters that were 8 and 9. They looked like absolute dolls and she was very helpful and patient with them. She also did my hair which was long to my waist and it looked so beautiful and exactly how i wanted! Not to mention the makeup was so flawless! Having her was a godsend I was able to relax and was less stressed knowing she had things under control and that I was going to feel and look beautiful! She was extremely professional and I enjoyed having her for my event! Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job! You will be a happy bride if you choose The Fairest One!! :)

I absolutely LOVED my experience booking with the Fairest One! Jennifer was so kind and accommodating during the trial run, and she worked with me to get a look that I really wanted. And on the wedding day, she was very calm under stress--the A/C in the church, where I was getting ready, wasn't on at first, and it was very uncomfortably hot and humid. I was worried about my makeup melting off, but she assuaged my fears and in the end my hair and makeup looked even better than it did in the trial run! Both my hair and makeup held up all day, even through the rain, and I love the way it looked in pictures. I would highly recommend booking with the Fairest One!

Omg! I don't know where to start. These ladies are amazing! All my girls and my parents who used them absolutely loved their hair and makeup. I felt like a true princess as well. Last minute they did my daughter's hair and they looked stunning. I could not have asked for sweeter more professional ladies to help my day go as planned. I'm so so happy that I found the fairest one. Now I just need to keep finding excuses to keep using them don't think twice, book them! There is no way you will regret it.

Jennifer and Mariam did a fantastic job on my hair and make up for my bridal portraits and for the day of my wedding! They also did a great job on all of my bridesmaids and they were even able to accommodate my mother who decided the morning of the wedding that she wanted to get her makeup done as well. I don't wear a whole lot of makeup on a daily basis and the ladies listened to how I wanted to look and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. They made great recommendations along the way as well. I highly recommend them!

What can I say. Top notch service all the way!!!!! Everyone at The Fairest One was truly helpful and did a fabulous job on my hair and makeup for my rehearsal diner and wedding day. The owner was very accommodating when there was a change with the wedding day timeline schedule. My makeup artist showed up 2 hours earlier than originally scheduled free of charge on my wedding day. The Fairest One absolutely has exceptional customer service. Worth every penny and has the highest quality in makeup!

OMG! The bridal party was stunning! They did a fantastic job with hair and make-up, and made us feel like royalty! Because of the reasonable pricing, I was able to gift the hair/make-up sessions to my ladies, as well as my Mom and not break the bank, and my Mom! When my Dad saw her! His jaw DROPPED! We looked fabulous! None of the 4 of us who used their services are "makeup" people. The application felt very comfortable and natural - not at all like the mask we were fearing. The results on the two beautiful young (mid-20s) women (bride & MOH) were spectacular but they are gorgeous to begin with. The older two women (MOB and Aunt in late 40s & mid 50s) needed a little more help but they came through! The compliments were non-stop and to be honest a little embarrassing (blush, blush). The makeup looked freshly applied after a long evening of drinking and dancing.
Our hair was incredible as well. Three styles were on very long hair and one short hair - each was unique and suited the recipient perfectly. The women were punctual, friendly and efficient.

The girls of The Fairest One are so sweet!! They prettied me up from my engagements right up to my wedding day. Jennifer and Mariam are incredibly talented and clearly love what they do. From the very beginning they were so easy to talk to and knew exactly how to make my vision come to life. My bridal party and I were in stitches all morning the day of the wedding because of their constant entertainment!! I never feel more beautiful than after a session with these wonderful empowering women. I love that I didn't get charged more just for being the bride, and that they were able to come to us! Jennifer was my stylist and she is absolutely amazing. She made me gorgeous for 2 photo shoots and my wedding day! She didn't treat me as if I was just a client, she treated me like I was a friend. She never rushed me and constantly made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I will never have anyone else do my hair or make up again, for any future events she will definitely be my go to girl!

I can't even begin to say enough about Jennifer, and Mariam! They are not only the sweetest ladies ever, they are the best at their art! They treat each client like they're the only person that matters, they'll answer any questions no matter how silly it may seem. You will instantly bond with these ladies! I was so nervous to pick a hair and makeup artist for my wedding, but as soon as I started messaging with them, not only did they put my mind at ease, they had me extremely excited! My trial was a lot of fun, that's when I met them in person for the first time and they instantly felt like friends I'd known forever! On my wedding day they did myself, 5 bridesmaids, and a *mother of the brides hair and makeup, in addition to 3 little girls hair. That morning was a blast because of them!

*my mother was SO nervous to get her hair and makeup done, she's in her 50's, doesn't wear makeup except for special occasions, and had NEVER had it professionally done.. Not only did she look gorgeous, she felt gorgeous and confident, which was so special to see as her daughter.

I can't recommend these ladies highly enough, I wish I could give them a million stars, but I guess I'll just stick with the 5 stars the rating allows [:

Perfection!!!!! I had my make up done by Mariam for my wedding and it was absolutely breath taking! I did not look like i had too much make up on at all and it looked flawless in all my photos. My matron of honor, my mom, and I were the only ones "scheduled" to get make up done that day. After a few of my bridesmaids saw how amazing she was...they too wanted to get their make up done! I would hands down pick her all over again to do my make up if i had to!!!!

I can't say enough good things about these ladies. My hair and makeup trial was for my engagement photos, and Sophia did a fantastic job. For our wedding, Sophia and Jennifer did hair and makeup for myself, my MOH, my mother, and my MIL. We had a great time visiting with them. They were flexible with ideas of what we wanted done and the rainy weather that seemed to slow us up. I would definitely recommend them, not just for a wedding, but for any big event.

I used the Fairest One for both engagement shoot and bridal shoot. I don't wear a lot of makeup, so I was nervous about it being overdone, but they make me feel gorgeous. I have had makeup done professionally before for other friend's weddings, and this was way better. They were personable, which is good because you spend all day with them on your wedding day. They were also very efficient, especially with the hair. Lastly, the value was great. I probably looked at 20 vendors before selecting The Fairest One based on pricing and the photos on their website.

They are amazingly talented and will bring a positive stress free vibe to your special day.

I seriously love them! 1st off they are super sweet. They help make you and your friends special day fun (and less stressful). They are perfectionist which if you ask me is fabulous because they will fix anything like if you start crying and need a touch up or your hair starts to fall a little. 2nd they are amazing! My hair never curls right, not only was it curled to perfection but it stayed that way the whole night even with all the dancing and running around. My makeup still looks on point 24 hours later (which is mind blowing to me because normally I feel like I am melting after like 4or5 hours). Seriously imagine your makeup still looking good after all those photos, dancing, crying and then running around the next day. I'm so going to have them on speed dial for any glamorous event I have in the future that I need to look amazing for because they make me look so fabulous and a crazy reasonable price too.

These ladies are true gems. Their prices are SO fair and they really brought out the beauty of all my bridesmaids and made me look exactly how I always dreamed I would on my special day. They really got into our theme (mermaids) and had a lot of fun- their designs have a personal touch and look so professional and stylish. We looked amazing in the photos and felt beautiful. They are extremely easy to book with, professional, get back quickly, and check-out was seamless. Bonus: They are super fun ladies- You'll wish they could stay for the wedding party because they are so delightful to be around!

Jennifer and her staff were quick and professional and very easy to work with. All we had to do was show her pictures of what we wanted and she adapted it to fit each of us. I had her do my make up for an event and I honestly never knew I could look so great. When she was finished my skin looked so soft and smooth, and had this beautiful natural glow. She was able to highlight my best features and completely hide the things I wanted hidden, and when I walked in the door my husband of 16 yeas almost fell over, he had to pick his jaw up off the floor, and he couldn't keep his eyes off me the entire night. I honestly have never felt more beautiful. My sister saw pictures of us from that night and was so impressed that she demanded I give her the name of the makeup artist I used immediately. She used Mariam for both her Gender reveal photos, and her newborn pictures. My sister's only complaint was that we didn't find her 2 years sooner so she could have done her makeup when she got married!! I will never use anyone but Mariam for my makeup again, and honestly I find myself looking for excuses to call her and have her do my makeup. She is also very affordable, so much so that I use her to do my makeup for things like date nights with my husband, which I would never be able to do with other vendors.

The service me and the wedding party received from Jennifer and Miriam was amazing. I had contacted them fairly late in the planning process. My wedding was 8/31/14 and I first spoke with them in the beginning of August. Even with such little notice they were absolutely fantastic with everything. I had Jennifer do my cut and color the week before the wedding and that was great as well.
The day of the wedding we had some last minute hair/makeup changes by my mom and they just went with it and everything came out great. Everybody looked absolutely gorgeous and received nothing but compliments all night long. Jennifer and Miriam were awesome to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. Superb service, amazing results, and competitively priced. What more could anyone ask for.

These ladies were awesome! Every single one of us looked exactly how we wanted and the looks lasted all night. They were even about to do two extra make up jobs on the fly, in addition to doing the flowergirl's hair with no pain. If you want to look great, book these ladies.

Mariam is wonderful and works great with her customers. She is friendly, extremely affordable and makes you feel at ease. She takes her time to perfect every aspect of the makeup experience, whether it's lining the perfect red lip or creating the symmetrical winged liner. Where would I be without The Fairest One? I was really nervous about selecting a hair stylist for my bridal hair on the day of my wedding. My nerves were calmed down after my first hair trial session with Emma I believe her name was - I had really thick, curly, frizzy hair and wanted my hair down and "polished curly" for my wedding. It came out amazing and she was able to put in the last minute hair-crown thing I bought online with ease. I also booked Mariam I believe for most of my bridal party's makeup; she was so accommodating and friendly (and helped me through my contact lens fiasco) - everyone loved her. Thanks you guys!

Me and my bridesmaids had a great time working with the ladies from the Fairest One. They did my hair and make-up and a couple of the other girls hair. Everyone was really happy with the results. They were very flexible with the day of schedule- we switched numbers and where we were getting ready and they had no problem at all. They came to my house short notice to do my trial run, and listened to what I liked and didn't like. They did a great job of looking at pictures and re-creating similar looks. It was a very enjoyable experience.

I think with how many people they were doing for hair and make up i think if they had an assistant to help they wouldn't seem to be as rushed towards the end. Other than that they were awesome and the make up and hair were gorgeous!!!!!

I used the Fairest One, for a trial, my bridals and on my big day. They made me feel so confident and very beautiful. My entire bridal party and MOG, MOB used them. They are priced fairly, and your hair and makeup will last through all the tears, sweat and partying you could ever want! Would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone out there!

I chose The Fairest One because they were the only makeup artists who would travel to the client with a party of only 3. But, I was extremely happy to find the service was better than expected. Miriam was very cool and easy to work with. I showed her several photos of hair and makeup looks, and she did a great job in replicating it. I'm very picky about my makeup, so when I tentatively made requests to tweak things, she assured me she was there to give me what I wanted, so I didn't feel like a diva. My look was flawless, as was my mother and sister's, and it stayed the whole night. Highly recommend!

I used TFO for my bridal portraits & wedding day for myself, bridesmaids, and mother/MIL. My particular artist was Sophia, who was so wonderful to work with and very talented. She did both my portraits and my wedding day, which I liked because it gave me consistency. My makeup was flawless, and I loved how she did my hair, especially because I came to her not knowing exactly what I wanted (just updo with a braid for hair and natural nudes/browns/gold theme for makeup). We also had two other artists for the bridesmaids/mothers, but I can't remember their names - sorry!

Overall, I would definitely use TFO again for future makeup-related events. I would suggest to them, however, to create an email account for use by your brides/etc rather than communicating through weddingwire's messaging system. Because of this, I felt like the communication between me and TFO was slow, and I wasn't getting responses for days in between, including the week leading up to the wedding. But this wasn't a complaint on the makeup artists themselves, because I'm pretty sure they aren't the ones checking the weddingwire messages, etc.

I found The Fairest One after purchasing a gift certificate at an auction before my wedding. Although initially difficult to get in touch with, once I connected with Miriam (the company owner) everything went smoothly. I did have a little trouble setting up my trial, but no difficulty in terms of the actual wedding date. I went to the owners house for my make up trial (read: far on the northside of the city) and she was very responsive to my changes in look. On the day of my wedding, Miriam actually beat everyone to the venue and completed all of my bridesmaids hair in less than 2 hours. She made me look like a princess so that I glowed all night without being overdone. If you want to look amazing, use The Fairest One, although expect to pay a fair amount for your services.

Outrageous pricing. $55 for a 4 year old girls hair just to put a braid in the back is absolutely ridiculous. I was told it would be a top bun with a broad around it and when I got back it was a french braid at the back of her hair. I could'be done way better myself. The girls were nice, but I would have never paid $55 for a braid on my 4 year old.
