We've been ordering cakes from this place for a long time. The flavors the texture. The cake is so delicious and the design is beautiful but they are pricey but it's worth every penny. Exclusive Cake Shop went above and beyond what I imagined for our wedding cake! It was gorgeous and delicious, and it exceeded our expectations on every level. The vintage piping was beautiful, and the details we requested shined through, with an additional element that pulled it all together. From the beginning, I knew this shop was perfect for our big day, with a sign welcoming us personally to the fantastic tasting, to making a delivery work to save us from running around town ourselves. The absolute best wedding cake ever - as verified by more than 120 people at my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. I had several people throughout the night ask me who made the cake. It was a gorgeous design and was exactly what the couple wanted. They also worked well with the florist since she was adding a fresh floral arrangement to the top. They told us what to do to preserve the top layer for their 1-year anniversary so my daughter and her husband will get to indulge again a year from now!The Exclusive Cake Shop's reply:

Delicious! So happy with our cake!
I totally recommend The Exclusive Cake Shop. They are top-notch professional, from the moment I first reached out to them via Wedding Wire, they responded promptly, and I was able to schedule a cake tasting right away. Their responsiveness was a breath of fresh air, given that many other vendors I had reached out to either *didn't respond at all* (totally unprofessional), or took so long to respond that they didn't seem reliable at all.
So right away, I trusted that The Exclusive Cake Shop had their stuff in order. When we arrived for our tasting, they were totally prepared for us, and we sampled delicious cakes. We chose almond flavored cake with buttercream frosting, and selected from their options of cake stands to rent. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, I received several calls from the Shop to verify our details, and ensure we were good to go. Again, THIS was hugely important for me, because it meant I didn't have to worry. Finally, the CAKE itself was so gorgeous and tasted delicious!! Thank you so much!The Exclusive Cake Shop's reply:

We ordered a three tier cake here for our wedding day and it came out absolutely beautiful! My husband and I went to a complimentary cake tasting to choose our flavors. We showed them a picture of how we wanted to cake to look and it exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, better than how I pictured it. We supplied them with the flowers from our florist the day before our wedding so they could decorate it. Not only did our cake look beautiful but our guests ate the entire bottom two tiers so I know they loved it! 10/10 recommend! Laura helped us with our tasting and the cake and cupcakes were moist and icing delicious. We got several compliments and they were flexible with changing of our order. We chose to do cupcakes and just a top tier of the cake. We mixed chocolate and white and I wasn’t disappointed.The Exclusive Cake Shop's reply:

Caley Sent on 07/21/2018I had contacted them through WeddingWire and was able to meet with them in person at the San Antonio bridal extravaganza. They allowed me to make an appointment on-site since I was returning to the metroplex the next day. They allowed us to schedule a morning appointment so we could get on the road right after. The tasting was incredible- we felt so welcomed and they had SO many delicious cakes to try! I LOVED that they allowed us to build our own cake during the tasting. That was so cool, we were able to mix and match to find our perfect flavors! We left that day and just knew our cake was going to be perfect! The staff was so responsive to all of our emails and questions post tasting. They answered everything same day and it made our lives SO much easier!! When it was delivered on our wedding day I was blown away - it was beyond beautiful! We got so many compliments on how good the cake tasted - we did not have a piece left! Our flavors were better than I remembered and I just could not believe how fresh and delicious it tasted. Just like our tasting. They helped make our day perfect and I would choose them again in a heartbeat! I think anyone looking for not only a beautiful, but delicious cake should go to exclusive cake shop!!

When I showed the picture of my husbands cake, I was worried about how it would turn out. My husband is apart of Fraternity and I requested for his cake be of gold boots. They did amazing job and I couldn’t of been happier with their level of customer service! Plus their cake was sooooo good and I’m not really sweets person either!

Their uniforms are super cute, and the shop is gorgeous! The only issue I had at all is their location is so difficult to get to, lots of traffic, and parking was a nightmare. But it was worth it. -

They had lots of options to choose from, wheather it was for the cake design or the taste of the fillings, cake mix and frosting.
The were great! Our guests ate every crumb of it!

Lindsay Sent on 09/17/2009My wedding cake was beautiful and it was delicious! I love The Cake Shop because they can do buttercream frosting or fondent, or both. The groom's cake was chocolate and probably the best cake I've ever had, and I don't usually like chocolate all that much. My cake came out exactly how I wanted it, but was even more beauitful. The writing on the groom cake was a little messy, I expected it to look more perfect. And The Cake Shop forgot to bring us a box to put the top tier in to take home with us. So we had to figure out another way. But overall I would highly recommend them, the cakes looked good and tasted even better. -

It was a beautifuly decorated and fun cake with 2 little monkeys, made of sugar, dressed as bride and groom, as the cake topper. It was way too cute. We had two layers, one layer was white cake with passion fruit filling and the top layer was marble cake with bavarian filling. People loved this cake!!!!! I wanna say that it is the best tasting cake I've ever had. Pricing was pretty decent. I paid 300 dollars for mine, and it had a lot of work put into it. The staff will work with you and mold your cake to whatever your taste is. -

I have used Exclusive for not only my wedding but my baby shower and my sons birthday party. Everyone always loves the cakes I get. The staff is friendly and professional and most importantly the cake is absolutely delicious!!! They taste as awesome as they look. I will keep using them for all of my special events. -

Laura helped ensure that the cakes matched my vision, and she succeeded! The only complaint that I had about the cakes is that the groom's cake was much smaller than envisioned, but this could have been simply a communication error. All in all, my cakes were delicious and were enjoyed by my guests, which is what really matters in my book! -

Stormi Sent on 07/26/2015WARNING!!!!!! Do not let their store front and beautiful displays full you. Unfortunately I did! We used exclusive cake shop for our wedding cake. After going to the tastings and going over everything I wanted in great detail, I felt confident that this was our shop. We went ahead and booked with them and everything was smooth sailing. One week before the wedding I went in one last time to go over everything to make sure they had my order correct (flavors, color, the design, etc). My mother and I even went to the extent of asking the lady what exact color the champagne ivory wAs going to be. She found a display in the color that I ordered as well as showing us a beautiful ivory cake stand they had to match. Everything seemed on point until my wedding day when they delivered a BUBBLE GUM PINK Cake. Not only was it PINK but the tiers were off centered from one another, entire cake was leaning, and they didn't add our monogram like discussed in my order. I immediately called the shop and they argued with me and told me that pink is what I ordered! Then they said that they would not fix it unless I payed them another $200-500. Who in their right mind does not take responsibility for their mistakes!!!???? After Being on the phone with them for an hour I finally gave up and told the lighting people to just turn the lights down reallly low to make it not noticeable!! That's not all though...... The cake was DISGUSTING! Nothing like we had during tasting. As soon as my venue cut into my cake it literally crumbled apart. There was absolutely no saving the top tier. The venue and multiple guest commented about how bad it was. How embarrassing especially when you spend $1,000.00 on a cake. Over all I was completely disappointed and would not recommend this "cake company" to anyone. Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction!!!!!!!!
