This was the perfect venue for us. Do you want an old-world feel and classic feeling for your wedding? This is perfect. Do you want all the amenities, modern accommodations for your wedding? This isn’t it.
We wanted to feel like we were in another world for our wedding. This served as the perfect place. My husband and I stayed in the Ivy suite and his groomsmen in the Essex. This was perfect as he went to the Essex room to get ready with the groomsmen and the Ivy was perfect for the bridal party as there were multiple rooms for hair and makeup to set up.
Most of the wedding party and family rented out the rooms - so we got to see those, and all were unique and beautiful in their own ways. I recommend reserving the room Bath for a bridesmaid or whomever will be steaming dresses.
The pergola and Medovue Hall both were beautiful for the ceremony and reception respectively. We didn’t do a lot of decorations because I felt the beauty of the hall spoke for itself. We had the Duck for dinner - and it was perfect. Everyone raved about it. The bartenders and waitstaff were so nice and personable.
Adriana was great to organize and work with. All in all, we loved our venue and highly recommend it. -

Hidden Gem
The English Inn is truly a breathtaking hidden gem. We had our wedding here in July 2025 and could not be more pleased with this venue. Adriana was truly a pleasure to work with and provided support in more ways than we could have ever imagined, she truly helped everything come together no matter the surprises that came up. The Essex was large enough for our party to get ready in, while the other rooms in the building are just seconds away as well. The grounds are absolutely stunning for all your photos. The staff provided 5 star service all night. We got so many compliments on the food, our appetizers went so fast (definitely order more than you think!), the filet was delicious and the best quality we’ve had at a wedding- think true fine dining taste! The venue even stepped up last minute and helped with our desserts when we had a mishap with our original vendor. An additional perk of this venue is when you book a room, a delicious fresh breakfast is included the following morning, it was so special to see so many of our guests before we checked out. I cannot recommend this venue enough for your wedding, or even a dinner celebration -

The English Inn is the most stunning wedding venue and I am so glad that this is where we decided to have our big day. The grounds are stunning, the food is delicious and the service was amazing. I cannot recommend this venue enough -

Adrianna made planning a wedding so smooth and im so thankful for her and the entire venue staff that made our wedding day a success. The location was gorgeous, the food was delicious and we felt that the value of service was phenomenal. The whole staff was kind and made the whole day seamless. -

Hidden gem!
We don't have enough great things to say about The English Inn. The grounds are breathtaking and made for the perfect location for our wedding. The gardens are beautiful and well-kept and the riverfront was a peaceful backdrop for our ceremony. The on-site rooms allowed us to keep our immediate family and closest friends close which made for the perfect wedding weekend. We had great locations for getting ready which made for excellent photo ops. The staff was so friendly and considerate and went out of their way to make our weekend special. I can't thank everyone enough, especially Adriana who addressed all of my emails in a friendly, timely manner. She was constantly checking in throughout the wedding and ready to address any issues that arose. We're looking forward to spending many of our anniversaries here for years to come. -

The English inn was the perfect choice for our wedding and I wouldn’t change a thing about it! The planning process was so simple - Adriana walked us through each decision and in no time our day was planned. Our guests loved the food and the simplicity of having the ceremony and dinner in one room. An extra bonus was not needing to decorate because the Inn is beautiful as is! The flexibility of the venue on rearranging our seating at the last minute (Covid cancellations), and the ease of selecting from
their menu, and the fact they accept credit cards all just added to the day. It was truly a stress free experience which is great for a busy couple, or people who don’t want to spend a lot of time wedding planning. I have absolutely no regrets and am so grateful for the inn and their amazing staff! -

Adriana and the crew at the English Inn we're beyond amazing! First the place it GORGEOUS!! Second, Adriana is an absolute gem and really made my wedding planning experience and my wedding just absolutely amazing! She was so sweet to work with. She was very knowledgeable and made everything so easy. She answer every email, question and concern and made or very easy for my vendors to come and set up. The food also was wonderful!! The servers were great! I would not change a thing about having my wedding at the English Inn! -

Amazing - Unbelievable - Gorgeous - Elegant

The English Inn is absolutely the most gorgeous venue for a wedding! We were married there September 6th 2019 and was just beautiful! Adriana Olney head of special event planning was awesome to work with! She was there the whole day to make sure everything went smoothly. All staff was professional and fun! It’s so nice to have the ceremony and reception in one spot. The grounds are so beautiful for the ceremony and pictures! Reception hall is gorgeous! I had so many compliments on this venue! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding! -

Penny Sent on 07/11/2018Our entire experience with The English Inn was truly amazing. Amber was an absolute pleasure to work with, and she went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We stayed in the Ivy Cottage, and it was the perfect place for my bridal party to get ready the morning of our wedding. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and we were able to get some beautiful pictures before and after our offsite ceremony. The staff was exceptional, and the food was out of this world. We received so many compliments from our guests who loved the venue, service, and said the food was the best they ever had. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience, and I can’t wait to go back for our 1-year anniversary.
