Deidre and her assistant were calm and composed among the chaos of my wedding day. They helped to calm nerves, were reassuring and created beauty for myself, (the bride) and all my attendants. I seriously couldn't have pulled this day off with them. Not to mention, they made the trip all the way from Louisville to my wedding site in Madison, Indiana. -

Let me start by saying that I am extremely picky about who I let style and even touch my hair. Up until my wedding hair trial, I literally had only let 3 people style my hair -my mom, my stylist in Chicago, and me. And to be honest, I don't even trust myself to do much with my hair except wash it, blow dry it and straighten it. After doing tons of research and reading multiple reviews, I tried out Dee with The Edge Salon and I couldn't be happier. Within minutes of sitting in the chair for my wedding hair trial consultation, she was able to describe my hair perfectly. I'm a 3b to 4a naturally curly girl that gets a relaxer once a year. I also have a ton of hair even though it is thin. She listened to my idea and looked at some of my inspiration pictures then got to work. She was amazing! Then I was passed to Scooter for my makeup trial and he knows his stuff. I left my trial so happy and excited for my wedding day! Leading up to my wedding Dee, Scooter and the rest of the team were very accommodating with all of the last minute changes and requests. They were always professional, flexible and understanding. Hands down, some of the best customer service ever! The mothers and bridesmaids all have different skin and hair types. Dee, Scooter, and the rest of the team were able to work with all 7 of us to put out a gorgeous and amazing finished product. I could go on and on about them, their awesome work, and great personalities. I have lived in Louisville for almost 14 years and have never found a salon that I was comfortable enough to trust to do my hair or makeup. Now that I have, I will definitively be a repeat customer. -

The Edge was chosen to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my maid of honor and soon to be mother in-law. I was extremely impressed with not only the quality of work, (my goodness, I've never felt so glamorous! and my ladies were so elegant!) But also that they were very clear and consistent with appointments and communication as well as knowledgeable and friendly. The combination of professionalism as well as the ability to make the customer feel completely at ease is a special skill. They also took before and after pics and were completely prepared. They transform the three of us for the special day. They had all preparations for co-vid as well. I had so many compliments regarding both my hair and makeup because they took my own unique requests into account. I had a wedding veil I brought and they were sure to style to account for it as well as the colors I was wearing to tie everything together. I can't say enough positive or recommend them enough. They are fabulous!!! -

I love Dee and Scooter! They made me go from super dipper drab to fab on my wedding day! Dee was very responsive from the get and was able to replicate exactly my hair pics. Having both her and Scooter work with you as a team is amazing! They are great at what they do and just down right good people. I feel it’s very hard to find this cohesiveness and genuine customer care in the salon world! I highly recommend their services!! -

Dee is so wonderful! I only go to her to have my hair done to begin with, so having her style my hair and my wedding party was a no brainer!! Her and I went through a trial before the wedding and tweaked a few things so it would be perfect for my wedding day! On the day of she helped calm all my nerves and when I left I felt beautiful and ready to slay my wedding day!
Scooter collabed with Dee and her team to do makeup for my bridal party! He is so sweet and values your opinion! He takes the time to make sure you look how you want, feel beautiful, and brings amazing conversation to boot! We also did a trial look for the wedding a few weeks before and after we tweaked the look I got exactly what I wanted! He was supportive and encouraging on a day that my mind was racing! I could not be happier with my experience at The Edge Salon, the best and only team I will recommend for any event you need hair and makeup done! -

The owner of The Edge Salon did my hair for my wedding and I absolutely LOVED it!! She was so nice, professional, on-time, and listened to exactly how I wanted my hair to look and made it look even better than I imagined! I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely go back myself.
