This shop is not to be missed. A very friendly low pressure salon. They are willing to help you find your dress without talking you into a high dollar choice. It was fun and very easy. Don’t skip it.

A lovely boutique, THE Dress !!

The ladies were so helpful and fun. I had a lovely time with my mother trying on wedding dresses. And I said YES to THE Dress!

The ladies allowed me so much time when I was in between 2 dresses. I found my dress quickly due to the amazing selection they had with great prices. So thankful I came here. Thank you again!!!

No Pressure!

Julia was fantastic! I had been a bit uncomfortable at a few other places I had been because I felt like the staff was pressuring me a bit to settle on a dress I didn’t love. I never felt any of that pressure here! Julia is great at what she does, and if she says she has an idea GO WITH IT! She came out with a dress that I might not have picked out for myself but I tried it on anyway and it was perfect!! You don’t want to miss out of your perfect dress just because it isn’t what you thought you wanted!

Julia is a gem

I had an EXCELLENT experience at The Dress. I had been to three other places in search of a gown prior to my appointment at The Dress, and I just hadn’t found, well, The Dress. The shop is very comfortable and tidy, but what I loved most are the people. Julia made me feel so comfortable and gave just the right balance of guidance and space for me to contemplate dresses, and her mother was also very kind. After striking out on all my previous shopping outings, I didn’t have much hope that I would walk away less confused, let alone with a dress. But I found a dress I love! I’m an indecisive person, and I so appreciate how patient Julia was while my mother, friends, and I discussed the merits of the dress so I could feel really sure before pulling the trigger. I would highly recommend any brides in the area check out The Dress.

The best experience!

I had such a good time finding my dress here! They were very patient and great at figuring out my style even down to the veil and accessories! They also gave good suggestions and opinions on alterations and add ons. I’m so happy I decided to go here It was the best out of all other shops around. I had a great experience! Thanks so much!

The staff was so nice and so funny. She made me feel so comfortable and helped me into every dress. She not once got agitated after how many dresses I tried on. I HIGHLY recommend.

Say yes to “The Dress”

The Dress is organized, elegant, and so helpful! They have a wide range of styles and prices so any bride can find the perfect dress. They helped me put on each dress, answered all my questions, and made me feel so comfortable. There was no rushing or pressure to get through all the dresses I picked out to try on. I’m so glad I said yes to the dress here!

I appreciated being able to shop and get customer service/assistance when needed but also allowed to shop the available dresses alone. I personally get very turned off to a pushy, sales person vibe and it was the perfect balance of being there to help in any way but also allowing me to browse on my own to find the style I liked.
Dresses available are fantastic, priced right, with great staff. This store should have 100s of locations in my opinion!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! All of the staff was so kind and patient with me and my family, and made us feel so welcome. The prices were very affordable and the selection was great! Julia went above and beyond to make sure I knew all of my options and it showed how she truly cared about making sure I was completely happy when making such a big decision. My mother and I weren't expecting to find a dress that weekend. After all, we had only looked at one or two stores. But we found the perfect dress and veil at The Dress, and the service was unmatched. Julia was so lovely, it felt more like shopping with friends! Definitely a five-star experience, and I would recommend that any bride shopping for a dress in the Greenville area check out her shop.

I had tried on a Watters dress at two other shops before coming to The Dress. On an impulse, I bought a dress from another store, later regretted buying it but couldn't return it. I actually first came into The Dress to try to sell my first dress, then saw the Watters dress I had loved before. It was meant to be! Julia was so helpful as I tried on several other dresses to be sure I didn't make the same mistake twice. I'm so happy with my The Dress dress!

The ladies at The Dress were wonderful! This was the second stop on my quest to find a wedding dress, and I am so glad that my mom and I stopped in. They have a variety of dresses with price points for every budget. All of the gowns are gorgeous, and they make you feel wonderful from the time that you step in until the time that you leave. We were only there to browse and ended up walking away with the perfect gown for my day! I highly recommend!

My wedding is in one month so I really needed a dress. They had a good selection and the woman who helped me was so sweet and made me feel beautiful. Great prices, my dress was $400 off the original price. Great people and great service!

I had the best experience at The Dress! I found my dream dress from a designer I love at a very affordable price! The dresses are organized by size and you can just browse at your own pace! Julia was fabulous and so professional! She took great care with my dress that I brought to her to be consigned. After looking at several places to consign my gown, I actually phoned her and shipped the dress to her to consign as I live many hours away. She walked me through all of the steps and continued to update me regarding the status of my gown. It was an amazing dress that had never been worn and she kept it pristine! A lucky bride found it and will wear it with style and grace on her magical day! The Dress is the perfect boutique for brides-to-be to find their perfect gown. I bought my wedding dress here. It was a great experience. All the dresses were well organized and in great condition. The staff was very attentive and honest. They are arranged by size so you can simply find one that fits you and try on the others that are there in your size. Such an easy experience. I loved my dress and it was also a fraction of what I would have paid at a boutique shop, which was great. You still get the "dress buying" experience, with appointments, attention, accessories to try on, big dressing room, and great decor. Love this place!!

Don't let the "consignment" idea turn you away--these are truly beautiful, high-quality gowns, and many of them have never been worn. They are also available for you to take home that day, and they come at a significant discount.

It's a quiet shop (at least on weekdays), which means you get the staff's full attention the whole time. It's a more laid-back, comfortable experience than another more crowded shop.

I was having trouble finding anything I liked after trying on many dresses, but Julia then brought out one that was just perfect! I'm so happy with it!

We had a delightful experience with her. I found my wedding dress on my first visit there, and the price was 1/3 of what it should have been. It had never been worn and she also had the perfect jewelry and veil to match. I would definitely recommend looking here before going to a place where you'll have to pay full price!

The Dress was the first place I visited looking for a wedding gown. I was able to get an appointment the same day and wasn't pressured into buying my perfect dress! They allowed me all the space and time I needed to say "yes to the dress" ! Throughout my visit they were extremely patient and made sure I was completely satisfied with my gown. My shopping experience at The Dress was beyond expectations. The shop is decorated beautifully and the moment you walk in you feel special and comfortable. The dresses are amazing and such GREAT prices!! I had no idea what type of dress I wanted but Julia took the time to find out about me and what style/theme wedding and her suggestions blew me away. I had the best dress buying experience here. The Dress was the first store I had gone to and I ended up buying the second dress I tried on. It is truly the gown I have always dreamed of and the price was a huge bonus! So reasonable. I left feeling like I made a responsible purchase and still got exactly what I wanted. Julia provides one on one attention that you just can't get at bigger stores. Could not be happier.

I went to a couple of stores before I found The Dress. Nothing was going right. I am new to South Carolina so my entire family and friends were all back home in Texas so I had to shop for a dress by myself. I honestly didn't see a problem with it. But the other stores that I went to I got a feeling that I was an outcast.. A friend at work suggested I try The Dress in Mauldin. They do not have a huge selection so at first I was skeptical that I would find the perfect dress there. However I ended up pulling almost half the store because I fell in love with so many. The lady in the store was very helpful in helping me find the dress that fit my body type. She didn't make me feel like an outcast because I didn't have an entourage like many people do today. She actually made me feel at home. I found the perfect dress that I had always dreamed of and for half the cost of what I planned on spending!

Being a very budget conscious bride, I decided to try to find a dress here before going to David's bridal. I tried on 3 dresses before I tried on THE ONE. It was gorgeous, not the style I was expecting, but I fell in love and I had SO many compliments! Even from my Grandmother and she is so hard to please. The dress I ended up with had never been worn before and was about $600 cheaper than the original price. Overall, I was SO happy with The Dress and would recommend everyone try to find their dress there first!

The Dress is a great, stress-fee environment to find your perfect dress! I haven't lost my weight yet for the wedding so I was nervous about trying on dresses and if anything would even look good on me. Even though I had no idea what style dress would look good on me, they were so patient and let me try on many, many dresses! I ended up with a dress TOTALLY different than I thought I would get, but I love it!

The owners of The Dress were incredibly helpful in my search for a beautiful and affordable wedding dress! I loved my experience shopping there, and I found an amazing dress at an unbelievably affordable price! This was the one and only place I tried on wedding dresses! They have a large selection of sample designer gowns that are absolutely gorgeous! I ended up going with the very first dress I tried on. It was a one stop shop and I got my veil, earrings and dress for less than the retail price of my gown! The consultants were very friendly and made the experience of wedding dress shopping a perfect memory for me!

This shop is Great small not too overwhelming!! Beautiful designer dresses for a Great price. The service was awesome my appointment was just me and my family in the shop so that was nice also. I wish they had more shoes but no biggie. This was the first place I went and found the perfect dress on the first try. ( i still tried on about 10 dresses ) Julia was a good sport about me being in decisive. We will be bookin my furure sis in law a appointment soon!! Thank you to The Dress for helping me find the perfect dress for my day.

Everyone at The Dress was wonderful and very helpful. I was a walk in, and they took me in with open arms, and made me feel like a princess. The first dress I tried on was "the dress". The staff was amazing, and I was in tears in "my" dress by the end of the visit.

I found my dress at The Dress! I was disappointed with the selection of other shops after trying on over 20 dresses. I stumbled upon this shop with my sister and we found the dress. They were helpful and friendly, we felt very much at home. It was just a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend this shop. They were very accommodating. I can't say enough positive things about shopping here.

I did get my dress there in 2011, even though I am getting married Sept. 2014.

I LOVED these girls!!! Absolutely no pressure walking in... They knew I was on a budget and totally provided me with what I asked for!!! I found my DREAM DRESS after trying on just 2 others!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The ladies at The Dress helped me find a beautiful designer wedding gown for a great price! They expressed their opinion of how they thought the dress looked in a professional manner. They even helped with choosing the jewelry and veil and recommended a great seamstress for alterations. I was so pleased to get a beautiful dress at an affordable price. They have a great selection for all sizes.

Why buy an overpriced new gown when you can buy one that is almost new for much less? If you are a like-minded bride, you will love this store. The dresses were clean, clean, clean. No makeup, no odor. My ceremony dress, an Eve of Milady (originally $3500) was in perfect condition including the exquisite beading and I got it for less than $1000! That left room in the budget for another few dresses I found at The Dress that were more along the lines of cocktail attire, but still bridal. I wore all three on my wedding day and they were a big hit! The woman who helped me at The Dress was patient, kind, and honest. I appreciated her demeanor during those difficult decisions. Worth the trip if you live around South Carolina and even if you don't. I came all the way from FL!

I honestly can't say enough good things about the ladies at The Dress in Mauldin! From the day I got engaged, less than 2 months before the actual wedding, I knew The Dress was where I wanted to get my dress for the special day. A few of my married friends had recommended it, but I had accompanied one friend in particular during her dress search, and her experience at The Dress was all I needed to convince me. And when I went to the store to start what I thought might be a lengthy search for a dress, my experience was just as good, if not better. The ladies there are SO sweet, almost like aunties, not to mention super knowledgeable & full of creative ideas to help make your dress truly YOURS for your wedding day. And they genuinely care about each & every one of their brides. With their expert guidance, I knew I had found "the dress" after trying on only 5, and everyone in my entourage agreed wholeheartedly. I was SO relieved that the process had gone smoothly & I knew I had found a dress that would make me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world on my wedding day. Sure enough, when that day came, a few months later, I got all the "oohs" and "aahs" I had hoped for, including some especially sweet words from my husband that I'll never forget.

I visited 2 dress shops to find my wedding dress and hated it- Theconsultants wouldn't listen to what I wanted and were pushy and kept giving me dresses that were far beyond my price range.
I decided to drive out of the way for The Dress as a final attempt that day and they were so pleasant! They showed me where the dresses were, helped me try them on and gave me their honest opinions. I found my dress in 15 minutes. The dress I got was perfect, nothing was wrong with it and it was much cheaper than anything I saw before. My husband LOVED it, my mom was beyond pleased with the veil they picked out. I love The Dress and would recommend anyone to try it out before you wear yourself out at other shops!

I had a friend recommend this store after getting her dress there. The ladies are really nice, but I was too picky to find anything there in my size because I had something specific in mind that was hard to find anyway. However, I ended up putting a dress up for consignment there that I bought and loved, but never wore. Apparently the alterations I wanted weren't feasible for the dress. The only con I've seen with this shop is the hours. Overall, I would completely recommend The Dress, they have some beautiful finds at amazing prices!

After appointments at several bridal boutiques in Greenville, my mom and I stopped by The Dress. I was impressed with their selection and quickly found exactly the dress I had imagined. The girls working in the shop were so helpful and seemed genuinely excited for me. Shopping for my dress here was a great experience!

I had no idea what I was looking for in a wedding dress. The Dress was the perfect place for me because I needed my choices to be narrowed down! The staff was wonderful and helped me find the perfect dress! I was very pleased with the whole transaction and the lady they recommended for alterations!

My mom and I went in this store, for fun, not thinking that we would find a dress right away, but we did!!!! The owners of the store were so excited for me and so much help and fun to shop with. The owners of The Dress were so sweet and kind. When they found out I was newly engaged they ended up being as excited as I was. I was kind of sceptical to purchase a dress from a consignment shop but the dress I purchased from them had never been worn or altered. I purchased the dress for $200 less than what I could have at the store it originally came from. If you are trying to save money or have a budget for your wedding, this is the way to go.

Where do I begin? I went to this store only to look at gowns not to make a purchase. First thing I was alone, but the ladies of The Dress were so wonderful to me. They provided soooo much assistance, with helping me into the gown and trying on veils. The last dress that I tried on I knew was IT! I left and came back the next day, mind you this store is an hour drive from me. Soon as I walked back in the store they knew I came back for THE DRESS! This was a designer gown and I paid less than $700 for it. This is a small store with amazing prices. Thank you ladies of The Dress for helping me find my love, the wedding dress of my dreams!

I stopped by this store on a whim after visiting all the other bridal stores in the Greenville area. Found two dresses that I loved, and the shop owner was so patient with me while I was deciding. I ended up getting exactly the dress I had envisioned, that had never been worn, for about half the price I would have paid otherwise. After purchasing my dress, I went back about a month before my wedding, and they were nice enough to special order a veil for me that matched my dress perfectly! I would absolutely recommend The Dress to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

The staff at The Dress were amazing! They were attentive and knowledgeable on fit, style and alterations. Although they have small amount of dresses compared to the large chain stores the dressed they have are hand picked for quality, no need to search for the best of the bunch as all were beautiful. They are kind enough to arrange the dresses to 'street size' so there is no guessing what size you are. Everything about my experience at The Dress was wonderful. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, The Dress made my dress buying experience just as I wished it would be direct, simple, and easy.
