Book this band!

Seriously, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception was booking The Downtown Band.
They are top-notch in every way. The management team was so nice and great to work with.
AND THE BAND. We absolutely loved them, but after hearing so many friends and family praise their performance as well...we knew we booked the right band for the job :)

The best wedding band!!!

If you're currently looking for a wedding band and are considering The Downtown Band, stop looking and book them. We had The Downtown Band at our wedding this past weekend and couldn't be happier with our decision. Not only did we love them but all of our guests did as well. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the band was the next morning and said it was the best wedding band they've ever seen. The dance floor the was full the entire night because of the great song selection and the entire performance by The Downtown Band.

The Downtown Band truly made our wedding unforgettable and I can't even imaging what the night would've been without them.

Best wedding band ever

We were so happy we chose the downtown band for our wedding!! They bring the party to life. So energizing, such a fun group. They play a huge variety to keep guests entertained and dancing all night long, and truly were a joy to have center stage for our special day!

Fantastic Sound - Delightful to Work With!

The Downtown Band is amazing - I don't have enough superlatives to describe our entire experience with them! We had booked them for 4/20, and had to reschedule due to the pandemic. They were absolutely wonderful to work with regarding the rescheduling and any details. And - best of all - they sound GREAT. We had asked for them to play more swing/jazz, etc., at a level where our guests could talk during the beginning of the Reception, then after the cake cutting, they got the party going - people left wanting more! I would book them again anytime - they are worth every penny!

Awesome wedding band!

We had the Downtown Band play at our wedding on August 23, 2020 and they exceeded our expectations! We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and they were so easy to work with throughout the whole process. We highly recommend them!!

Band used at our Wedding Reception

This band was beyond wonderful! They were so accommodating and easy to work with. They made our event so special and personalized and so many guests at our wedding complimented them throughout the evening. We were beyond pleased and highly recommend them!!

Amazing band

The Downtown band was fantastic!! They were highly energetic with great voices. They were very receptive to the song list we requested, and there wasn't a song we requested that they couldn't play. Most importantly, they played great music for the crowd without taking over the show and making it all about them! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!! It was a phenomenal wedding reception!

So worth it, we are hiring them again

Everyone cannot stop raving about our band from our wedding. The downtown band was phenomenal. They learned all the songs we requested and did multiple costume changes to amplify the atmosphere of the night. My little sister is now going to hire them for her wedding too!

Wedding Reception

The Downtown Band played at my daughter's wedding reception on 7/13/19 in downtown Nashville. They were exceptional and everyone loved their performance. They participated beautifully with the audience and they helped some of the wedding party to perform on stage! I highly recommend this band and one should definitely go with the full ensemble. Well worth the money!

When we first sat down and discussed the feel of our wedding day, we both agreed that the band one of the most important decisions. We wanted all of our guests dancing and having a blast, but we also wanted a seasoned group that could monitor the flow of the evening, and also make sure everything progressed properly. Hiring the Downtown Band was hands down the best decision we could have made. They were professional and prompt when we first reached out to them, and on the day of, we could not have asked for anything more! The were wonderful throughout the entire evening, and our guests were ready to party! We've had more compliments and kudos about the band, and guests have literally told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Hire this band now - you will not regret it!!!

The best part of the reception was The Downtown Band. We never sat down and their playlist was tremendous! Worth every penny and I would recommend them for any party. You will not be disappointed.

Best Dance Band Ever!!!! From the high energy fabulous music and entertaining performances to the fabulous musicians, their musical talent and range of genre- rocked it!!
The Dowmtown Band played at my daughter's wedding and from the first song, the dance floor was full. Book the full band-- the horns and girls add so much. You won't regret it. For a GREAT night- The Downtown Band is it!!

Great band - great energy! We want them back for our 2018 event! We have heard wonderful comments from our attendees. Would recommend this band for any event. Our event was a fundraiser - one of the premier events in our region - black tie. They did great and made the night a memorable one for all who attended.

Run, don't walk, to book The Downtown Band!!! Hands down, one of the best decisions you will ever make. To be honest, it's shocking to me that anyone would choose to book any other band in Nashville.

We had seen Justin's band perform 4 times prior to our engagement, so when we got engaged we only contacted The Downtown Band- no one else! Justin was already booked for our wedding day, so we booked Jordan's band and they/he were INCREDIBLE. I have been told by about 20 people that this was the BEST wedding band they had EVER seen. I grew up in New York so about 50% of our guests came from out of town and they just couldn't believe how talented and fun the band was. They kept the dance floor PACKED the entire night.

The band learned our requested songs, played the best version of The Hora I've ever heard, and even worked with my sister to play "My Girl" during her Matron of Honor toast where she had changed the lyrics! Unbelievable. We also had the band start playing party/dance music as soon as guests entered the reception and didn't wait until after dinner which I HIGHLY recommend. Why waste time not dancing?!

I could go on and on and on forever about how professional the band was, how amazing they were to work with, and how they truly made the reception the best reception so many of our guests had ever been to. It certainly was the best night of our lives, and we are SO THANKFUL for Jordan and The Downtown Band and Beth (who was fabulous to work with, too!)!

The Downtown Band was AWESOME!! They played at our daughters wedding and they rocked the night away! The dance floor was packed all night! Plus, they were very engaged with the Bride and Groom and all of the guests!! Would definitely book them again!!

There aren't words to describe how awesome it was to have Justin and the Downtown Band as the entertainment for our wedding, but I will try anyway! From start to finish, they were so professional, easy to work with, and accommodating of our special requests. They were so enthusiastic about performing a custom cover of a Garth Brooks song for our first dance, and they made the "anniversary dance" honoring my grandparents into a very special moment for our entire family. Their timing and choice of songs throughout the night were perfect, and Justin makes a fantastic MC. The Downtown Band was the life of the party, and they kept my guests out on the dance floor all night long. I know everyone will be raving about the Downtown Band for months (and even years) to come!

The Downtown Band played for my wedding on September of 2017 and exceeded every one of my expectations! Honestly, my wife and I were not sure how good they would be, but we were blown away by how much better they sounded live vs any demo or video we have seen of them online. Our lead singer was Marc Martel; he did such an amazing job with the custom songs that we requested - everything sounded great! The dance floor was packed all night and they were fantastic at reading the crowd and playing songs that they knew would keep people out there. In addition, their front office was a pleasure to work with during this process and always promptly responded to any of our questions and concerns.

One of the highlights of our wedding day was definitely the band and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Book this band for your wedding!

I absolutely cannot say enough about this band. They completely made the whole reception! It was the best live music dance party I've ever been a part of and it was my own wedding! They chose the best song list and there literally wasn't a single dull song. Seriously. You don't need to worry about a thing as far as the set list. Everyone was on the dance floor the whole reception because it was just hit after hit. Jordan the lead singer was so easy to work with, professional, and MC'd the night wonderfully. We've all been to weddings with awkward DJ's/MC's but with The Downtown Band you won't need to worry about that at all. The bands energy was explosive and they interacted with the crowd a ton which made it so fun for all the guests. Every single singer was so incredible. Both of the female singers were hitting alllll the notes. We're talking Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera (I think?). Easy. And the male singers, woah! Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind and Fire. Nailed it. But there's more. They went WAY above and beyond and learned a song I had requested them to play THE DAY OF and it sounded like they'd been playing it for years. The piano player also learned an instrumental piano song that I had written to play during the ceremony and it was so meaningful. All I can say is, book this band. Just do it. I would even go as far to say that it might be worth picking a wedding date around their availability.

Our wedding guests are actually still talking about how amazing The Downtown Band was at our wedding! We couldn't have loved their energy, vocals and overall vibe more if we tried. They guarantee you will have an incredibly fun and memorable reception! I would highly recommend adding on the uptown girls- they were such a great balance to Jordan's lead vocals.

The Downtown Band is absolutely phenomenal!!! What an incredible group of insanely talented musicians and vocalists! We could not believe how amazing their sound was, and still hear compliments regarding them to this day. Our guests of every age truly enjoyed and loved the band; guests who normally do not dance could not be torn away from the dance floor! They were talented, professional, dependable, accommodating, and fun! Jordan and The Downtown Band learned three songs specifically for our reception within a short amount of time. They nailed each and every one! We are so ecstatic that we chose to go with The Downtown (10 piece) Band! No one has ever seen as many wedding guests dancing as we saw at our daughter's wedding this weekend. I'm still sad that it's over because it was the best music, the best singing, the best selections, and the best way to have a party. I even checked the band's website to see if they posted their schedule so that I could hear them again. This was not my first daughter to get married, but this was the best band that I have ever hired. Worth every penny. We loved TDB!!!!!

We did not use the Downtown Band for a wedding, but for a July 4th event. We have nothing but great things to say! From the beginning, the booking agent was very responsive and easy to work with. The planning process was a breeze. The day of the event, the band members were very personable and gracious. The performance was phenomenal! The guests were on their feet the whole night. The band did a great job interacting with the crowd. They played a good variety of songs and we appreciate that they played appropriate songs for our family-friendly crowd. Cover bands can often be hit-or-miss, but The Downtown Band hit it out of the park!

The Downtown Band was incredible!!! They are professional, personable, and very talented. At the end of the reception, everyone was chanting "one more song." No one wanted it to end! I would recommend them over and over again.

NO WORDS FOR THEIR TALENT! WOW!
The downtown band was AMAZING! They came the Kiawah Island for us - and everyone LOVED them. They were so fun and they really were able to read the crowd and play what our guests wanted. In addition, they learned 3-4 songs just for us with no complaints. I cannot say enough good things, it is the first thing our guests talk about when our wedding comes up ! THANK YOU!!!!

The downtown band is simply AMAZING!! They played at my sisters wedding a few years back and when my now husband and I got engaged we knew that the downtown band was the band we absolutely wanted to play at our wedding! We based our June wedding date around Being able to have them! They are so talented and not to mention how fun and kind they are! After our wedding everyone was raving about how good the band was and asking us who they were! I highly recommend the downtown band!!

The Downtown Band blew the roof off our company Christmas Party. From the first phone call to the last song, they were unbelievable. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants to impress their guests and have the best party that they have ever had !!!

Fabulous party dance band! played straight thru (had enough members that the players could take breaks with the band continuing to play), Engaging with the guests, got tons of inquires from the wedding guests as to who they were because they really added to the fun!

We absolutely loved The Downtown Band! It has been about a month since our wedding, and we are still getting comments and compliments of how incredible the band was. They were very accommodating on a few aspects of our wedding set up, and learned every song we requested for special dances or that we wanted for fun! They are professional, fun, and so, SO talented. We got the full band, and the horns and female lead were so worth the additional cost! When I see all 5's for a vendor, I wondered if it was because everyone thinks so positively of their big day, but this band deserves it! If you have any hesitations, I say book them! You will be very happy you did.

The Downtown Band was absolutely amazing!!! The dance floor was packed all night. My guests are still talking about how incredible they were! Our guests raved about the Downtown Band, saying they were the best wedding band they'd ever heard. Jordan and the musicians had our entire reception on the dance floor from the first song, and almost no one sat down all night! The Downtown Band was amazing and our guests keep talking about them (even 3 weeks past our event)!! They had amazing energy that kept everyone dancing and for those not dancing they still enjoyed the energy that they created in the room!!! Hands down the best investment we made for our wedding!!! I was the bride and I could not RAVE enough for The Downtown Band. They truly made our wedding EPIC and unforgettable for not only us, but all of our guests. It is hard booking a wedding band based on online YouTube Videos, but if you are thinking about booking this band... DO IT!!!! They played such a great variety of songs that literally pulled everyone onto the dance floor!!! I just pray that I get to see them again at another wedding :)

The band helped make our wedding the party of the year! People were crowded around the dance floor as we did our first dance. Once we finished, the floor was rushed like a concert's gates opening. Everyone stayed on the dance floor all night and had the best time. The band played just about every genre/decade and nailed each song. Everyone was asking us who the band was all night and for the next week after. We went with the Grande (Full Band package) and it was worth every penny. We knew we would rather adjust other budget areas to make sure we had the best band possible. Our wedding planner and venue also said it was the best/easiest/professional band that they have ever worked with as well. During planning our wedding, we agreed we wanted all of our friends and family to have a great time and that expectation was greatly surpassed. We would highly recommend them for any event!

This is the best band I have ever heard at a wedding reception, or for that matter, at any reception. They would be great for business meetings, corporate retreats, private family functions or any similar event. The members of the band are super talented, but interact with the crowd and make the entire occasion feel like a PARTY for all. Young people and older alike had a blast listening and dancing to the band.

This band is incredible! Not only great voices but entertaining. One of the best parts of our reception. Everyone was on the dance floor! They were professional from beginning to end. We used the 10 piece band and used ceremony and cocktail hour with them as well. Worth every penny!

Absolutely the most talented, versatile, energetic, gifted band we have EVER contracted! Their booking agent is responsive and helpful which made everything so much nicer but seriously, this band if off the charts! From country, r&b, rock, and hip hop - the only time guests weren't dancing their hearts out was when they were just listening in awe. We added a female vocalist who took on Michael Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Aretha and Journey and not only went for every note, this gal HIT every note perfectly! Great interaction with the crowd without ever coming across as forced or cheesy. Bravo DTB! They are better than their demo tapes and videos - can't wait to have an excuse to hire them again!

These guys rocked the house all night! We hired them for our semi-outdoor wedding at the Nashville Zoo (large tented reception). After beautiful weather for three weeks prior, mother nature decided to unload on us. My wife was a bit down in the dumps about the rain; we were not able to do everything we had planned during our cocktail hour, and the rain drove a few folks away.

But then, Jordan and company took the stage. We could've been in the middle of a tornado, it would not have mattered. The DTB lit it up all night! The musicians were in perfect rhythm, and Jordan hit every note. Song selection was great, even our guests who hated to dance were out on the floor cutting it up. Our legs were sore for a week after all the dancing we did! As the cherry on top, they were very reasonably priced, and worked with us up front to fit our budget. We still have friends and family commenting on how much fun they had, and we owe A LOT of that to the Downtown Band. They brought the party with them.

If you're in the market for a wedding band, and you want to show your guests an awesome time, you NEED to hire these guys. Your guests will thank you!

Jordan and The Downtown Band were amazing!! I put my husband in charge of finding the band, as he is rather particular. We saw them play at a friend's wedding last year with a different lead singer, and we had the best time ever dancing and singing along. Absolutely amazing. They even had their song choreographed!! The band can seriously sing almost any song you want - it's incredible. We had more guests compliment the band than anything. The Downtown Band was absolutely amazing! They were flexible as we were tryint to figure out the logistics of a backyard wedding, and accommodating to our needs. Jordan was friendly and professional.

The ceremony music was so romantic and fittingfor our setting. At the reception, the band even managed to get my husband out on the dance floor - which is quite the challenge! The downtown band was fun, energetic, flexible, and a great overall value.

If you're looking for THE BAND to hire for the party of a lifetime, look no further. Justin and The Downtown Band are extremely professional to work with and leave you with only one responsibility: having fun! They were more than willing to learn songs for our special dances and played them with such ease. At one point during our special night, the entire party got such a fun surprise with the horn section on the dance floor with us playing "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon. WOW!! If I could rate Justin and his group higher than a 5.0 I would because they were FABULOUS. They were so easy to work with and did exactly what they said they were going to do! Our father/daughter and mother/son songs were not on their playlist but they obviously could be now because they played them both and did a fantastic job. Everyone has commented to us about how great they were. Their sound was top-notch and they all seemed to be having just as much fun as our guests. I had two friends who had previously hired The Downtown Band for their weddings nd I KNEW I had to have them at my reception. When I decided on a time of year to get married, I checked with them before setting a date. I was willing to work around their schedule, that's how awesome this band is. They are professionals, you don't have to worry about a thing. You don't even need to provide them a play list, they can feel the crowd and make your wedding into a party. My group of friends is depressed because I was the last to be married and we don't know if we will ever see Justin and the band again. They are true professionals and you will never regret the decsion choosing them.

This was the best band I have ever heard! They kept the crowd entertained during the entire reception and were great at reading the crowd. People are still commenting on what an incredible band they were and everyone wanted to know where we found them. If you are reading this review, look no further. This band is tremendous. They are able to read a crowd and the dance floor was never empty. We cannot thank The Downtown Band enough for ALL that they did to help making our wedding such a special day! Justin was such a pleasure to work with. He is a professional and we always heard back from him with answers to our questions. He helped guide us along so that we felt comfortable with what arrangement we chose and how the flow of the night would be. He made booking a band for our wedding simple and fun. We cannot tell how much that mean to us.

They traveled all the way from Nashville to Charlotte. They arrived with no problems. In fact, our venue had nothing but great things to say about them. Throughout the day, we heard how professional and friendly the band was. The staff at the venue really appreciated working with them.

The entire reception was unbelievable and PERFECT. Jason did such an awesome job the entire night! He got the crowd involved was absolutely perfect! His timing was impeccable. We could not have imagined it going any better than it did!

The banded sounded great. Nobody complained about anything! The band read the crowd and played great music all night long! In fact, nobody wanted to leave the dance floor. Even the DJ music was fun and had folks on the dance floor. It was a huge party and everyone loved the band!

It was perfect from beginning to end! We would absolutely highly recommend The Downtown Band to anyone.

I am a wedding planner at a hotel in Charlotte, and I must say, this is one of the best bands I've worked with. They arrived on time, were responsive to all day-of changes, and were great performers! The music was fantastic, not too loud (usually I have to ask the band to turn it down), and were able to accomodate "non-band" songs that were special requests (i.e. the cupid shuffle, etc.). All in all, I Would definitely reccomend Jason and the Downtown Band!

The Downtown Band played at our wedding and they were AMAZING! We used strings for the ceremony and they did an amazing job. The horn section led everyone out from the ceremony to the reception site which was a lot of fun and the guests loved it! They played the perfect set during cocktail hour and then finally we had the full 10 piece band at the reception and they were out of this world! Several people have told me they were the best wedding band they have ever seen. Justin is wonderful to work with! Very nice, helpful and responsive and he did an amazing job MCing the whole night. He also set us up with someone to play at the welcome party the night before the wedding and they did an awesome job! Overall we couldn't be happier and I have already recommended them (before the wedding even) to a friend who is using them and will continue to do so!

I have only wonderful things to say about Justin and the Downtown Band and the Uptown girls and the horn section! They are fabulous musicians and performers and not only fun to dance to but also wonderful to watch. Even guests who don't like to dance (can you imagine?!) were transfixed just watching them. The Downtown Band plus the Uptown Girls added were the very best. They provided piano music through cocktail hour. Justin did a great job announcing cake cutting, toasts, etc. When the Downtown Band started playing after dinner the dancefloor was immediately full. One of the first things people complimented me on after my wedding reception was the Downtown band. Several people told me they were the best wedding band they had ever heard. Nothing but positive things to say about this band. Thrilled with them!!!

The Downtown Band was more than we ever could have hoped for in our wedding band. They were so awesome at reading the crowd and playing accordingly. Beautiful ceremony music, classy cocktail music and then such fun dancing music when it got a little later. Justin the main contact and singer has such a great personality. Our guests loved him! These are class-act, talented folks. We are so happy they were part of our day.

We had The Downtown Band play at my daughter's wedding reception and had an overwhelmingly positive experience on all counts! From the booking to the onsite setup, everything was handled in a very professional and courteous manner. And when it came time for the band to actually perform, they were amazing. We had many comments from the guests about how "tight" they were and how great they sounded. Also, Justin emceed in a very mature and appropriate fashion. The band was high energy and really added to the enjoyment of the whole event. I HIGHLY recommend this band!

We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about The Downtown Band! They were incredible and provided the perfect music for our cocktail hour and reception. We had the ten piece band, which kept the party going all night long. It was such a treat when all the trumpets and brass came out onto the dance floor.

Justin is great at reading the crowd and knowing what to play. Every member of the band is extremely talented and they have such an amazing repertoire of songs. The dance floor was packed all night long with some family members that I have never seen dance at other weddings. Since the wedding, we have received so many positive compliments from our guests about the band. People continue to tell us how much fun they had and that this was the best band they have ever seen!

Justin was wonderful to work with and he made the planning process and logistics so easy. They traveled two hours to our reception site and the setup was perfect. We are so happy we had The Downtown Band play at our wedding, it made it a magical night that we will never forget.

Without a doubt, I would recommend them for any event. I hope I can go to a wedding in the future where they are playing because I would love to see them in action again!

We just cannot think of enough great things to say about The Downtown Band! The 5-piece ensemble was the perfect size for our venue and they kept the dance floor packed all night. They did an excellent job of "reading the crowd" and playing music to suit all tastes and ages and skillfully announced the events like cutting the cake and giving the bouquet without killing the festive mood. It's a difficult thing to keep 20-somethings and 60-somethings dancing all night, but Justin and The Downtown Band did it with ease. They were certainly the highlight of the reception and - a month later - our guests are still talking about them and how much fun they had. Even our wedding coordinator and the venue manager said they were the best band they had ever had play at one of their events! Two thumbs up for sure!

We were lucky enough to have them play at our wedding. Oh my lord is really the only words when you see this band. This band was above and beyond anything we ever could dream. To start off with Justin is amazing to work with and helped us in the decision process of what we needed. Jason and the band can not thank you all enough. This was the highlight of the night by far. From our family to friends every single one of them said the Downtown Band is by far the best wedding band they have ever seen. My friends in Chattanooga are still talking about them. There is talk of wedding crashing just to see these guys again. The ladies were amazing. All the instrument players were amazing. We are so extremely pleased with our decision thank you all very much. If they are not booked for you wedding or event hurry they are worth at least double of what they charge we promise you.

The Downtown Band exceeded our expectations on every level. They were so accommodating to all of our pre-wedding requests, all of our song choices, and blew us out of the water the day of our wedding. They were so easy to work with. Justin and the Downtown girls truly engaged everyone at the wedding and got the crowd going. We had so many people come up to us to say that this was by far the BEST band they have ever heard at a wedding. For all of the weddings we have been to, we have never seen the dance floor so packed and for the entire night. Truly can't say enough about how fabulous they are.

We hired The Downtown Band for our daughter's wedding in St. Louis. Justin and his band were not only fantastic and kept everyone dancing until 1 AM but they were warm and engaged the crowd all night. I highly recommend Justin and the band any occasion. Everyone attending said they were the best wedding band they had ever heard! Thanks for making our wedding complete and the upmost fun!

I can't say enough about this band. They just played for my daughter's wedding here in Lexington, Ky. All of our guests are still talking about them. Justin is extremely professional and talented. We also had the Uptown Girls who were fantastic. My daughter also wanted to add the trumpet player to the the band (it became an 8 piece band) and that is really the way to go. This band needs to be playing at more Lexington Weddings, they are awesome!!

As a wedding planner, we interact with numerous bands throughout the year. The Downtown Band quickly became a favorite at a recent wedding at aVenue in Nashville, TN. They were reasonably priced with options to match any budget. They were quick to respond and thorough in their questions about the schedule of the evening. Justin is a fantastic lead - we loved the variety of music, the little bits of choreography thrown in and their ability to keep the crowd on their feet! He adjusted easily to changes and requests throughout the night and MC'd the event with ease. Two thumbs up from us!

I absolutely LOVED the Downtown Band!!! They were so helpful and accomodating leading up to my wedding reception, but nothing prepared me for their live performance!! They rocked the reception for several hours! A month later and we are still hearing from family, friends, and even other vendors that worked our reception how great The Downtown Band performed!! All I wanted was for my dance floor to be packed - and it was for hours!!

I highly recommend them. Their energy and musical talent is sure to make any occasion unforgettable!

First and foremost, The Downtown Band is full of incredibly talented musicians. They are true artists! The band is professional, entertaining, and interactive. They really understand what it takes to get a crowd participating without being overly aggressive or cheesy.

Their song catalog is extensive so you can be assured that they have you covered...from oldies to current top 40 hits.

Our guests couldn't stop talking about how great they were. Do not hesitate to hire them!

I am BURSTING at the seams at how incredible Justin and the Downtown Band was for our October wedding at FrontPorch Farms. Literally, one of my favorite parts of our wedding. Justin is an absolute doll who is professional, timely, and flexible. They made our special songs sound so original and were so flexible in adding them to the set! They provided a "Sinatra" hour during the cocktail time and then played for the rest of the reception while MC'ing the whole thing. There is seriously not one song they cannot do. They have the ability to accompany any size venue or occasion needed. With a husband as a drummer, it was important for a NO-CHEESE band...these guys killed it. Literally, every single person that talks about our wedding mentions how good the band was. Justin also was willing to customize packages to fit our desires. Do yourself a favor and set aside money for this vendor. It will totally be a highlight!

Since our wedding, we've had numerous friends tell us it was the most fun wedding they ever attended, and a lot of that has to do with the Downtown Band. I don't think there was a single moment when there wasn't a decent crowd of people on the dance floor.

Justin was really easy to communicate with and very flexible to our schedule. They played songs that satisfied all age groups at the wedding. I really can't recommend them enough if you want to provide your guests (and yourself) with a super fun night. They're by far the best wedding band I've ever seen.

Mike and I couldn't not have asked for a better band to play at our wedding! We stumbled upon the Downtown Band online while wedding planning and from the get-go the band was wondering-- so easy to work with, always quick to respond to emails, & honest about what we needed to make our day what we wanted. Of all the fabulous things at our wedding, the band is what we still hear friends talk about! They played thr best songs and were so fun to party with during the reception- they even did the limbo with us!! When it was time for us to leave, the dance floor was still packed & our guests weren't bummed we were leaving, but that it meant the band would stop playing! Justin and the Downtown Band were terrific. They learned two new songs for us, were responsive to questions, and were very professional. They are talented and did a wonderful job at our reception. We received lots of compliments afterwards from all age groups- from 13 years old to 60+! We would certainly recommend them.

The Downtown Band was hands-down the best investment we made in our wedding. Justin and the downtown band not only handled our reception but also our ceremony and cocktail hour.

They played absolutely beautiful music throughout the ceremony, including a fantastic instrumental rendition of "lost in this moment with you" as I walked down the aisle that had our guests sniffling with tears in their eyes by the time we made it to the front. The string duet never missed a cue throughout the whole ceremony!

At the reception, pretty much immediately after the band started up all of our guests, from my 20 year old nephew to my husband's 70 year old parents, were on the dance floor and that was where everybody stayed the whole night. The Downtown Band knew how to jumpstart the dance floor after the cake cutting, how to rile up the younger crowd as the older folks retired for the evening, and exactly which crazy requests to ignore.

The number one comment we got from our guests was about how amazing the band was. There was still a huge group of us on the dance floor when it was time for the band to go home and we were all having so much fun that we ended up going downtown until 2:30am! The Downtown Band was definitely instrumental in making our wedding a success. Will happily refer them to all our friends and family and probably start following them on Facebook to see when their next public gigs are.

The Downtown Band was extremely professional and great to work with! They were very accomodating with our song requests and really made our night special by playing specific music we loved. We also really liked how they put their own spin on songs instead of trying to sound exactly like the artist, ie sound effects or sounding unnatural. They really sounded amazing, had great energy, and had the dance floor packed the whole night!
