When I tell you our florals were even better than what we had imagined I mean it! From the first consultation Tom understood our vision. I was a little nervous since what we asked for is not typically in demand for the area but Tom and his team executed it so perfectly, our wedding wouldn’t have been half as beautiful if it wasn’t for the florals and the candle rentals Tom was able to provide. They can get away with charging a lot more than what they do because the quality of their work is so worth it! If you are in need of a florist look no further!

I was really lucky to have such great florists locally. I had no idea what I really wanted out of flowers, just a vague sense of theme for the whole wedding. They worked with me to provide some options and customize where I wanted, but they (fortunately for me) did most of the selection of actual flowers. Their experience and creativity really came out in the final arrangements--they were the bouquets I didn't know I wanted, but absolutely loved! I got multiple compliments on them. They were also incredibly flexible and professional to work with when my wedding went from 200 people to about 20 due to COVID and my flower needs changed. Basically, I highly recommend them due to both the quality of the final products and the ease and clarity of working with them.

Like a lot of brides... I never planned a wedding before so I had SO many questions and I probably definitely came off a little panicked. After every meeting with Tom, I just felt completely relieved and that everything was going to be okay and they had my back. They have so much experience and will know what will look good and what won’t. He has amazing suggestions and not to mention the flowers were just completely stunning! We felt totally taken care of. 🥰 20/10 would recommend, you won’t be disappointed. Just look at the pictures... the flowers are so awesome and I felt like my bouquet was totally unique. Book them! Not to mention they do amazing draping work too:)

Stunning wedding flowers!
The Details Matter provided us with the most beautiful flowers for our wedding. They were extremely professional and super easy to work with. The arrangements made by The Details Matter were absolutely incredible! Every single item was perfect and they were wonderful to work with. We had to make some last minute venue changes but Tom was very helpful and able to replan a few of the centerpieces to suit the new location. Where do I begin? This company was heaven sent! We started planning with Thomas and Elliot in 2018. When Covid changed our plans from a 200 person wedding inside a brewery to 50 people in a backyard, Thomas jumped in and offered advice and suggestions whenever he could. He was a wedding planner and florist all wrapped into one, and was always there whenever I needed reassurance. I can’t tell you how many times I emailed Thomas in a panic, and he responded almost instantly to talk me off the ledge. On the day of the wedding, I had no doubt in my mind that The Details Matter had everything under control. When I walked outside and saw my flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, chandelier, arbor arrangement, greenery for the tables), I legit squealed. Everything turned out better than I could imagine, and I can not recommend them enough!

Absolutely Beautiful Arrangements!
I’ll be the first to admit that, when it came to floral arrangements for our wedding, I had no idea where to start. Though I had some great Pinterest ideas floating around in my head, not knowing anything about flowers made it difficult for me to communicate those ideas and bring them to life.
Enter Tom and Elliot from The Details Matter. From our first meeting to the fulfillment of our vision on our wedding day, everything was smooth and perfect. I cannot recommend The Details Matter enough! When my mom and I had our first meeting with Tom, I was not very clear with what I wanted because, to be honest, I wasn’t quite sure. Tom was extremely patient, gave us some sound ideas, and told us he would be in touch with a proposal. When I received his proposal, it was like he had read my mind. Everything he was proposing, from the floral arrangements to the flowers to the colors, was EXACTLY how I had envisioned it. From that point up until the wedding, Tom was extremely accommodating with my questions, additions, and even some last minute alterations.
Finally, on the day of the wedding, Tom and Elliot were able to bring our vision to life. Everything the two touched looked like it came from a fairy tale: simple, elegant, and beautiful--exactly what I wanted! We had absolutely beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres, along with breathtaking centerpieces and garlands. They truly elevated the venue to its fullest potential. My husband and I will definitely be using The Details Matter for any other floral needs in the future!

The Details Matter provided the flowers for our daughters wedding on 08/11/18. We were beyond pleased!!! The centerpieces were stunning and the guests talked about them all night. Tom and Elliot were wonderful to work with, and everything exceeded our expectations. About 2 weeks before the wedding my daughter and I had the idea to take pieces of my gown, my mothers and my grandmothers gown and have them wrapped around my daughters bridal bouquet. It was done to perfection and so meaningful to us. We would highly recommend The Details Matter to anyone, you will not be disappointed at all!

Details Matter is the perfect name for this florist....every floral arrangement at our daughter's wedding was perfection, down to the last detail. The flowers were amazing, and so many guests commented on their beauty and aroma. Our breath was taken away walking into the church and then again as we arrived at the reception. We are so thankful to Details Matter.

They created our vision perfectly! Our flowers were beyond anything we could have hoped for! Our wedding flowers were absolutely amazing! They far exceeded our expectations and we received so many compliments from our guests. I would recommend the Details Matter without any hesitation! Tom was amazing to work with, and their floral work is even more amazing! Our wedding day was even more beautiful because of the Details Matter. The first thing friends and family say when they see our pictures are "who did those flowers?!" and they will not stop raving about them! I have nothing but great things to say about The Details Matter! I had hoped and dreamed that they would be the florist for our wedding, even before we sat down to meet, as they do such a great job documenting their work and posting on Facebook. Upon meeting Thomas, the level of creative flexibility and knowledge is evident in the wide variety of suggestions and styles that were offered to us. After our meeting, his correspondence and follow-up was extremely professional and responsive. On our wedding day, all arrangements were delivered to the venue before we sat down to eat breakfast! This gave me peace of mind and allowed ample time to get everything placed before guests arrived. The day after our wedding, Thomas came back on-site and retrieved all vases and items they allowed us to borrow to hold the arrangements. The Details Matter was by far, one of thee best vendors we had in helping our dream day come true!!

For our floral arrangements we primarily worked with Tom from The Details Matter. Tom was super easy to work with! After meeting with him and explaining to him what we wanted, he set up a document of all of our options of flowers and arrangements for us to be able to see and review at home. He also was super responsive to emails, even when we had minor breakdowns at 10pm about real vs fake candles. We recieved so many compliments, even from our venue, on our arrangements. Tom even went out of his way to make small doggie boutonnieres for our two golden retrievers! We would 100% recommend The Details Matter to anyone!

Tom and Elliot did the flowers for our wedding last week and we could not be happier with the work they did! They were attentive and professional at every step of the process and they made floral planning so, so easy. We had a few ideas of how we wanted our centerpieces and flowers to look, and they took those ideas and made the end result so much more beautiful than we could have imagined. My bouquet was perfect, our centerpieces were beautiful (and incorporated so many personal touches), and our ceremony decor was exactly what we wanted. The Details Matter made our day look so perfect and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The details matter was great to work with. They asked to meet with me for an initial consultation and provided an accurate estimate based on my request. They helped by providing input and suggestions of overall wedding details, even outside of the flowers. As the wedding date got closer, and I started to question and worry about things, they took the time to meet with me again to make sure everything was just as I wanted it. At first glance, the price seems high on paper. But when you see the quality of their work and how perfectly they match your vision, it's absolutely worth every penny. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and were exactly what I wanted and more, and we got so many compliments on them. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Never in my life have I seen such beautiful work like the work done by Tom and Elliott. I know nothing about flowers and told them to do whatever they think will look nice for our wedding. Well, "look nice" became an understatement. Their work is absolutely breathtaking. So many of our wedding guests are still talking about the centerpieces and my bouquet, and our wedding was over two weeks ago. The ballroom completely took my breath away. My daughter was married on April 8, 2017. We had the privilege of working with Tom and Elliot from the Details Matter. The floral arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and breath taking. Multiple guest indicated that they were by far the most beautiful flowers they had ever seen at any event. They made the setting at the Country Club amazing. Tom and Elliot are just plain awesome. With my daughter in MD, me (mom) in FL, and the wedding in Eagles Mere, they helped plan everything from afar, starting with a handful of photos. They quickly sent a very professional proposal with pictures of each individual flower to be used, they accommodated revisions (including the loss of the wedding site three months before the date!), and they gave very honest opinions when asked. They had our utmost confidence. Tom and Elliot, with their kindness, humor, attention to detail, professionalism, punctuality....you name it!....EXCELLED! Our only regret is that we don't live closer so we could use them for everything!

I got so many compliments on them, including from my father who is not really a "flower" guy. This was definitely one of the most exciting parts of the day. I've read articles that say "no one remembers the flowers" etc. but if you give Tom and Elliot a chance, they will take your wedding to the next level, I promise you everyone will remember! :) Besides being great at flowers, they have amazing taste and if you need tips/help with decor or color palettes they take the time to help and talk you through it. They are patient and kind, even with me, my mother and my in-laws calling them (sorry guys!) they kept their poise the entire time. From our first meeting, Tom and Elliot put us at ease and carefully listened to the details of our day and thoughts about flowers. I had a few pictures of things that I liked (and some that I didn’t), and they seemed to understand my style immediately. They not only created ideas for beautiful arrangements, but helped me to look bigger and identify the overall vision and feel of the day. Any questions I had were addressed in emails very promptly and Tom and Elliot were flexible with meeting days/times, knowing that we didn’t live in the area. On the day of, every piece of work, including altar arrangements; centerpieces; bouquets; and boutonnieres, blew us away. They absolutely delivered with every detail we had planned together and exceeded our expectations in how beautiful everything was! Amazing! It's one thing for the guests to comment about the band and the food, but the remarks about the flowers was incredible. We decided to go with a few of the tall centerpieces. Tom and Elliot are beyond phenomenal. Their professionalism and artistic attention to detail is magical. My floral arrangements were even better than I imagined. I wanted my theme to be unique, vintage and rustically elegant. They nailed it - I wouldn't have changed a thing. I will recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

When starting to plan our wedding, flowers were one thing we weren't sure where to turn to. We took a recommendation off of our wedding venue coordinator and made an appointment with The Details Matter. From the first time we met with Tom he was inviting and listened to exactly what my vision was. As the planning continued, he was always quick to answer and email, tweak my colors as I wanted, and when I decided to have my grandfather make a trellis for us to be married under he had no problem changing around our plan. Pricing was completely within our budget and we didn't have to make any sacrifices on what we wanted. The set up and drapery they were able to put in the barn where we were married was far more then we could have imagined and made the most perfect romantic feel! As for the bouquets, I can't even begin to tell you how gorgeous they came out!! The compliments were (and still are 2 months later!) continuous.. Our photographer was even getting comments on her details photos of the bouquets on how beautiful they were! I have already recommended The Details Matter to two upcoming brides and will continue to do so! You certainly won't be disappointed!

Tom & Elliot are incredible. From day one, Tom answered my e-mails so promptly it was actually almost shocking. He was always available to me to run new ideas by him, make changes (he was ever so patient and kind about my novel length e-mails), share photos I found inspiring, and even give input for non-flower related decor items. This intimacy is not something you will ever find with a larger florist company.
Despite the fact I'm incredibly detail oriented and prefer to have 100% control over the planning process, Tom and I were able to work together as a team and he was kind yet assertive when he felt I needed to trust their plans or suggested changes.
During our first meeting, I shared photos I found inspiring and described my vision. I explained I've always wanted flowers to be a huge part of our wedding day, they bring me such happiness and I wanted to share that with our guests. Tom listened and to put it frankly, they executed. Executed beyond my wildest dreams! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning. I love peonies and also wanted large unstructured arrangements that made guests feel swept away with the romanticism of the night. Even though we discussed in detail what the arrangements would look like, seeing them in person was still shocking and such a beautiful moment. Their artistic eye for detail is so impressive to me, we couldn't have been more pleased. Our venue wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing setting and despite this, we had so many guests tell us it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever attended. Our primary decor was our flowers :)
For those who do not wish to play a large role in the planning process, I should add that Tom will listen and create your vision even if you have no idea where to start or specific ideas. If flowers aren't your forte, simply give him some ideas using photos and take comfort in knowing they will come up with something beautiful and unique based on your budget.

The Details Matter provided us with the most beautiful arrangements. In a meeting with Tom, I discussed my likes and dislikes and let me take over from there. They did better than I could have imagined! Also, they are quick to respond to e-mails with details or questions. I would highly recommend the Details Matters for their work and professionalism!

I would highly recommend the Details Matter to anyone asking about flowers. Tom and Elliot were amazing to work with and answered every question we had. It was hard for my type a personality to allow the control to be with them to deliver but they did and then some. Our center pieces and the bridal party flowers and boutineers were everything and then some we wanted. They definitely helped make our day special and we got such rave reviews from our guests. I will definitley be using them in the future !!!!!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with The Details Matter! Words cannot express how beautiful all of our arrangements were for our wedding, we got so many compliments about them. Our guests were so impressed that they were fighting over centerpieces! I would HIGHLY recommend The Detail Matters for your next floral arrangements. The floral arrangements for my wedding were AMAZING!! The Details Matters completely transformed the reception room --- my guests are still talking about the floral arrangements.
They were so easy to work with --- they were even accommodating to some last minute additions the week before the wedding (the ceremony was moved from inside to outside because of the beautiful weather predicted in November - they were more then willing to set up the outdoor ceremony with chandelier and floral arrangements.
Completely loved my experience working with The Details Matter!!!!!!

Tom and Elliot do an amazing job!!! My wedding flowers were absolutely breathtaking. All of my guests commented on how beautiful they were. They created exactly what I wanted for table arrangements, bouquets, etc. They met with me several times and allowed me to change my flower plan until it was perfect. I took my bouquet to a nearby florist after the wedding to have it dried and even she could not believe how beautiful the bouquet was. If you are looking for someone to do your wedding flowers they should be your number one choice!!!

Tim and Elliot deserve 6/5 stars for their stunning work. I went to them with a very general color scheme and idea and they ran with it and created arrangements beyond my expectations! The flowers took the beautiful barn and added romance and elegance that took my breath away! And, after two weeks, my bouquet is still alive and thriving...a sweet reminder of my wedding. Tom and Elliot were also so great with reworking the proposal to fit within my budget. I can't recommend them enough!!!

Every aspect of what they do is phenomenal. My expectations were set high- and they surpassed them. My bouquet was absoutely breathtaking, the centerpieces and boutonnieres were perfect and the attention to detail was amazing (there were flowers in the bathroom)! You would think their services would be outrageously priced but it's the opposite. Tom and Elliot are in a league of their own.

Tom and Elliot know what they are doing! Everything is gorgeous! The most compliments I received from guests were about the flowers. I've been in many wedding where the flowers are wilted by the afternoon or falling apart, my bridal bouquet stayed in my fridge for 3 weeks!
The bridesmaids bouquets were huge! I loved working with these two they are super sweet!

"The Details Matter" team is AMAZING! They really worked with me and my budget to create an arrangement and it was more beautiful then I ever thought it would be. Couldn't have been more pleased with the floral decor at our reception. The greenery that was provided by Details Matter was beautiful! They worked with me and added dried lavender from the local lavender farm, Hope Lavender Farm. They were so helpful and friendly through the entire wedding planning process!
