AMAZING! Tori was fantastic to work with! She helped me with planning all the moments I wanted to capture and offered some great ideas. Brooke & Brittany went ABOVE & BEYOND on the day of my wedding. They were more than just "photographers." They were there every step of the way and with whatever I needed: lip gloss, a drink, my bustle- all while taking great photos! I can't thank this team enough for helping make our wedding day truly special. The photos were of great quality and the turnaround time was super fast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

Dandelion Weddings did not miss a DETAIL! Every moment was captured and beautiful. Staff was responsive and got every shot we asked for and didn't even think to ask. We have used these photographers for other events throughout the years and they always out done themselves. My house is filled with beautiful photographs. I can't thank Tori and her staff enough for the time and love that they put into making sure everything is perfect! Make sure to book early because their dates fill up. You will not be disappointed! -

Tori and Jason did a great job with our wedding photos. They were one of the first vendors we hired and as soon as I spoke to Tori on the phone I knew we would work well together. She is professional but down to earth and easy going, and made planning our photography a breeze. Since our wedding was in February with limited daylight after the 5:30 ceremony, I knew we'd have to do most of our posed photos before the ceremony and thus not have the traditional first look while coming down the aisle. Instead we would have to do a "first look" that afternoon. I was initially disappointed by that, but Tori explained the special-ness of that moment in such a way that afterward I couldn't imagine NOT doing a first look before the ceremony! We only hired them for a 4 hour package, but they were able to get all the shots we wanted. They arrived ready to work, and in time to get some getting ready shots, and then all the other requested shots from the first look and family photos, to the venue detail shots, ceremony shots, sunset photos, reception/guest photos, first dance and cake cutting. We got sneak peak photos back within days, highlight photos a few weeks later and our entire gallery shortly after that. Our photo package was reasonably priced, and we are very happy with our photos! -

This was our second experience using Dandelion Weddings for a daughter's wedding. Why did we come back? Because Tori, Jason and the whole team are beyond excellent at what they do. Not only do they have years of experience with wedding photography in the lowcountry, but their professional yet easy going manner are only matched by the love and care with which they put into the photos and the editing process. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer! So professional, but easy going - that is how you know an artist is at work and that they are passionate about their work!
On top of all that, I was clueless on several other vendors and she gave me insight and recommendations. The Hair and Makeup Crew, my Day of Coordinator, and my officiant were all super excited that “all their friends” were at my wedding. Pretty sure that is what assisted in a “perfect” day!

Dandelion Weddings + Co, was very understating when we had to cancel our March 2020 wedding due to Covid and had to reschedule it for September 2020. Tori went beyond and even helped us find hair and makeup salons along with boutique salons and even helped us find an Officiant, since we are from MI and are unfamiliar with SC. Tori and Jason are both wonderful people and very accommodating. I asked for certain pictures and they took any picture I asked for. Both Tori and Jason are very sincere and genuine people and we highly recommend them. They are also great with children and teens! -

This couple did my wedding nearly a year ago and I love every one of my photos. Tori even got attacked by ants in the middle of my ceremony and did not miss a beat, just stripped off the ant covered socks and kept taking pictures. Very dedicated and wonderful to work with! I highly recommend them! Also I am not photogenic and they were able to capture me in the right light/angle to make me look beautiful in my photos! Love these two! -

I guess it’s true when they say “you get what you pay for”... and I blame myself. My husband and I were the ones that paid for our wedding so we were trying to keep it in our budget.
I seen so many compliments about how they had so many ideas and they were awesome... well, they looked lost at our reception. Yeah, it rained on our wedding day, but it wasn’t a storm and we were able to get some shots at the pier, that WE had mentioned.
She didn’t come back to take pictures of me getting in my wedding dress. We didn’t even get any family photos.... what photographer doesn’t take family photos at a wedding.
Wish I could do it all over again. They were a nice couple but I should have just went on and spent the extra money to have gotten our wedding captured the right way.

TL,DR: Quality of openness and communication coming from Dandelion Weddings has left me with a terrible experience on what should have been the most exciting part of my big day and MONTHS after. Would NOT recommend using this photography company.
Unfortunately my experience with Dandelion Weddings was very stressful and poor. There were extenuating circumstances, illness, making the situation more difficult than usual, but poor communication, inconsistency, and lying is what made it a terrible experience. Prepare yourself cause this is a long one…
Five days before my wedding, after seeing a post on social media about the company taking the week off for personal matters, I reached out to express my sympathies and see if they would still be able to honor their commitment or if other plans needed to be made. I was assured that they would still be able to make it. Two days later, three days before the wedding, I got an email saying that both photographers would not be able to make it to the wedding because one had been in the hospital for 4 days and they had to quarantine. This was very upsetting because I had reached out two days prior and was given false assurances when they should have already known they would not have been able to make it. They did not inform me of the situation as soon as possible even though we had already corresponded.
Luckily they found two replacement photographers for the day of. Tori had passed on the information regarding my wedding to the photographers, and had the location of the Airbnb incorrect, the theme incorrect, and the details about where the ceremony would be incorrect; it made me feel like she didn’t fully listen or track the information for the wedding. I will say that both photographers day-of did an amazing job and were great to work with.
I was told that the back up photographers had up to 5 days to deliver the images and I would be receiving the sneak peaks as soon as she got them. I email her 8 days after the wedding looking for an update only to be told that it takes a long time to download and will be getting to it on day 11 after the wedding due to her being sick. I had no issue waiting longer for the sneak peaks and had only wished that she explained how long the process would actually take or given me an update instead of me having to reach out. Day 14 after the wedding rolled around and I had not heard any kind of update so I reached out again asking for an expected timeline of when to expect my photos. I was told that she had been in the hospital for 14 days now, when her previous emails implied that she had been back home. At this point I was getting mixed signals as to what the problems were and how long they had actually been going on. I was told that he had no idea when to expect my photos and that my contract stated they had 14 business days to give me photos and that their business days are wed—fri, none of which was stated in the contract. He also sent me a copy of a contract with this information which did not match the contract that I signed. The contract I signed (I looked back at my copy) stated that “Delivery of images from your photographer is expected to be one week” but “may take up to 14 days if there are 2 events the same weekend”. I let this slide knowing that they were going through hardships but nonetheless felt frustrated and offered to go elsewhere for editing so that they could focus on her health. This was not an option for them and I was told to be patient, even after two broken promises and a broken contract. So I waited.
It wasn’t until day 23 that I received my sneak peaks, not all my photos, but my sneak peaks. I was told to expect my photos by day 29, but there would be no promises made about it. I appreciated being given a date and told that there was uncertainty about it; at least I could have realistic expectations and not get my hopes up. 100 more photos were added to the sneak peak gallery on day 34 and that more were to come, and the rest were uploaded the following day on day 35.
I realized that the individual pictures I took with each of my bridesmaids were not in the 500+ plus photos so I emailed her about it. She told me that “we do not guarantee all images turn out” and there might have been technical issues. I asked her to relook through her photos and reach out to the photographers that day because they were very important to me. She said she would but they still can’t guarantee photos turn out.
She responds several days later saying she talked to ONE photographer and that the photographer states they were never taken because we went right into family pictures instead and according to the timeline the photographer was correct. I told her the photos were taken that day because me and each of my bridesmaids 100% remember taking the photos and that family pictures were taken after the ceremony. I was appalled that she would tell me these photos were never taken and that I was wrong when she wasn’t even there. I reached out to the other photographer, the MAIN photographer, only to find out that Tori never reached out to her and that she would look for the photos. I tell Tori that the photographer would be reaching out to her, in which Tori tells me that she will be receiving the photos soon. Ironic considering they were never taken in the first place right? The last I heard from Tori was on day 56 when she stated she had been waiting for a response for a passcode to access the photos and edit them.
She also kept focusing on the quantity of pictures I was given when no number was stated in our contract. There were some amazing pictures, most were good, and then there were ones that were very poorly edited/over edited and a lot of blurry/poor quality photos that I didn't even ask for. I had also asked for a refund because our wedding ended one hour early, and she stated she would get it to me when she paid the photographers and nothing has been done about it; honestly I didn’t push the issue because I would rather not deal with them any longer.
I am not heartless and understand that they were going through some hard times. I did my best to be patient and was nothing but nice to them in our correspondence. What’s frustrating is having pictures of a day you can never get back in the hands of people who have poor communication, make promises they can’t keep, break your contract, and don’t do their due-diligence to give you your photos. I do not recommend this company. -

I have waited quite some time and was allowing myself enough time to have another photographer review and try to edit my photos before posting this review. My experience was not a good one and the most special day of my life was not captured because of Tori.
It took her well over 8 weeks to produce a gallery filled with horribly edited photos first and foremost. She always had an excuse as to why it was taking her so long, etc.
The photos were plain awful and only had about 5-6 photos that were print worthy in my opinion. I notified Tori of my dissatisfaction pointing out specific photos and my issues with them. She proceeded to blame me, the venue space and my coordinator. She took no ownership and only argued back and forth in emails with me about the quality of the photos. I then asked to get the raw images and she told me no. Finally after 6 months, she finally sent them to me. Thankfully! However, I sent these to another photo professional and she has been able to edit some of them to make them "better" but she also told me some were so bad that there was nothing she could do to help make them better.
I told Tori that I thought given the circumstances, she should at least offer a refund or return my generous gratuity. She refused to do either. Everything communication was faced with more excuses.
My wedding photos do not represent our beautful wedding. We will NEVER be able to get back that opportunity and I 100% blame Tori for the lack of professionalism, her quality of work, etc.
She also left my wedding early because she was not feeling well. At the moment she told me that, I voiced my concern about the photos and told her I was afraid they were not going to be good and I felt something was off.....I was even empathic at that point and tried to remain optismistic. I had told her early on, I was picky and would have high expectations. She assured me that she would do the photos herself because of all of her experience and I would not be disappointed and rather i should be happy because she "doesn't touch a wedding for less than $3500". I can tell you I paid $1750 for 4 hours and the photos are worth about $500. I think I could have hired someone just starting and could have gotten better results.
I truly wish me experience was better but after hearing today that another photographer was sorry to tell me that the photos are so bad some just could not be edited to make them good enough to even put in a gallery. Of course, I am having to pay for that work on top of paying Tori.
I will say thank you to Tori for sending me the raw images after much back and forth and issues in her life, but I cannot sit quietly and allow this to happen to someone else.
Be cautious if you plan to use Dandelion. I cannot speak for any other photographer staffed by the company that Tori owns, but I can speak (and have proof) of the experience that I had with Tori and her company. -
