  Best. Wedding. Ever.

  I have been so excited to write this review!! Bluestone is hands down the best wedding venue ever!!! We were in contact with Alicia initially at Bluestone and her attention to detail was exceptional, as was her service. We originally had an issue with their preferred bakery, as the shop was not able to accommodate for my tree nut allergy. Alicia took care of that real quick. She had a word with that cake shop and sent us to a new bakery, which was even better. She had our backs! Every time I emailed her, she would respond within a day and with detailed responses. Her opinion and knowledge were invaluable. As we got closer to the wedding date, we were transferred over to Laciann, who was specifically working our wedding day. She was great too! Very kind and detail oriented. She was always there when I needed something. It was a pleasure working with her and our wedding day went off without a hitch! The food is probably the best wedding food you will ever have. Even if this wasn't a wedding, the food was still out of this world! You have so many options for cocktail hour and the sit-down dinner was amazing. I wish I could just go back and eat the food all over again. Do yourself a favor and have the lambchop lollipop as one of your 12 passed hor d'oeuvres and have the braised short rib & crab cake as a slider option for your 1 of 5 stations during cocktail hour. Those were just some of my all-time favorites. The filet mignon with garlic herb butter was what I had for dinner, and you could have cut that with a spoon; it was that tender. Everything all around was delicious. If you're a foodie, this is your venue!!! (They are also very good with food allergies!) Lastly, the service was amazing. It felt like the people working our wedding were family too. What really stood out to me was how kind all the staff were. You don't always get that at big events. I mean these were some of the nicest people. They were genuinely happy to be there and be a part of your big day! The bar tenders were hilarious. One even took a shot with us! So funny. Nobody waited more than a minute or 2 for a drink, and we had 167 guests. We added on a Cigar Roller experience, and it was 100% worth it. My dad, who is a cigar connoisseur, thought they were top notch, and all the guests loved them too. There are so many good things to say about Bluestone. I am just so thankful and happy we choose them as our venue. You will not regret choosing Bluestone. A frequent comment by our guests was, "This is the best wedding I have ever been to." If that is what you are looking for, then this is your place.

  the most amazing wedding

  My husband and I got married here about 1 month ago and I don’t have enough words to describe wonderful our experience was here. We have been wedding planning for 2+ years and Michelle was our go to throughout the whole process. She answered EVERY question we had in a timely manner and communicated clearly with us from start to finish. On the day of, the bridal suite was spacious for myself, my 6 bridesmaids and MOB and MOG, 3 hairstylists and our make up artist. We were fed from start to fanfinish with fruits, chips, and sandwiches. Lu, the operations manager understood the assignment and did a FANTASTIC job bringing our vision to life with the decor we provided. She ran things so smoothly and it felt seamless. Samarie was our bridal attendant and as soon as we got back up the aisle she had drinks for us in hand. She helped bustle my dress in the bridal suite and bluestone made sure we had all the passed apps so we can try them. Samarie also made sure we had the cocktail hour food we didn’t want to miss out on in hand while we were making the rounds. There was so much food and it was delicious from cocktail hour to dessert. Kaleel was also part of our day of team and he was fantastic as well. The team at bluestone truly cared about us and making our day wonderful and I cannot say enough about how comfortable and happy I felt from start to end. If you’re thinking of getting married here: do it. They really take the time to know you and your needs and make it the most wonderful day. 1000/10

  Amazing Wedding Day!!

  We just had our daughter’s wedding at The Country House and to say it was amazing is an understatement! They exceeded our expectations! The food was plentiful and top notch ! The atmosphere is elegant and gorgeous! The covered patio overlooking the golf course is so beautiful for the cocktail hour and the formal garden where we took pictures was gorgeous! Alicia and Michelle were great to work with! Michelle helped us plan all the details and it all came together flawlessly. During the wedding day, Michelle, Lou, and Becca took care of our every need . The rest of the staff was just as attentive. Also a shout-out to Kalil, the decorator, who did a fabulous job! Don’t hesitate to book here !

  forever grateful for Bluestone

  As a May 2023 bride, I relied so heavily on reviews of vendors to help us make the right decisions on who to hire for our wedding day. To those currently planning their own weddings and reading this, please trust that there is no better choice than Bluestone and their AMAZING team. They will go to great lengths to take care of you and it WILL be the most perfect day.
  
  I could go on about all of the reasons we chose Bluestone following our first walkthrough when we were exploring venues. The grounds are beautiful, the ceremony location in the formal garden is PERFECT for that garden wedding vibe. All of the food options included in the wedding package absolutely blew us away. But the thing that really stuck out to us was how much the team at Bluestone really seemed to pride themselves on taking care of the bride and groom - both during the wedding planning process and especially on the day of. We felt that if we chose Bluestone, the biggest day of our lives would be in great hands. We were so right.
  
  Michelle was nothing short of incredible from the start. I am a very type-A planner, so I was frequently emailing her with questions for months leading up to our wedding. She was so gracious in never making me feel like a bother. She was quick, thoughtful and thoroughly helpful in all of her responses. The planning process with Bluestone is so organized - they keep you on track to make sure that no detail is missed and they go above and beyond to accommodate all of your needs.
  
  On the wedding day itself, not one thing could have been better. Our team included Michelle, Lu, Rochelle and Kaleel and they were all fantastic. Start to finish, our whole day went by without a hitch and it’s all thanks to them. They kept us on time (and even ahead of schedule), they kept us fed, brought us drinks and made sure we didn’t miss a single thing on our timeline. Everywhere we went, we were being attended to just as they had promised the very first time we visited the venue.
  
  Not only are my husband and I in complete awe of the Bluestone team, but we are still constantly hearing from our family and friends about how perfect our day was. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed all of the incredible food (they’re still raving about it) and they took full advantage of the photobooth and the beautiful fire pits outside. They couldn’t say enough about how extraordinary our venue selection was. We’ve had a few weeks to decompress from our day, and I can confidently say that if we were to do it all over again, we’d choose Bluestone again in a heartbeat.

  wedding of our dreams

  My wedding was held at Bluestone in April and I cannot say enough about this team and this venue. From start to finish we had an incredible experience working with them.
  Michelle- was with us every step of the way answering questions promptly and making sure that we had everything that we needed. She even stayed later than she was supposed to on the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. Although the day of coordinators Lu and Kaleel are so incredible she really did not need to! So many people have horror stories about things going wrong on their wedding day. If anything went wrong I have zero clue about it because the team handles everything incredibly.
  The package itself comes with so much food and dessert I don't think anyone could say they left the reception feeling hungry. It even included a cake from a great baker in the package as well.
  I did a lot of the decor for the reception myself and the drop off and pick up process was seemless. They also set everything up exactly to my liking and had a lengthy meeting before the day so that I could tell them my vision which they executed better than I could ever imagine.
  The outdoor garden area was the perfect ceremony space and the tree in the background was in full bloom. For a Saturday wedding they fully close their club house to members and you get private access to the entire clubhouse grounds. Not one other location we looked at offered this!

  Best day ever!!!

  The Bluestone staff were wonderful and so accommodating since day one. Alicia, Laciann, and Lu were available at every step to answer questions, help plan, and to take care of us the day of. The venue is beautiful, both inside and out and the food is phenomenal. We couldn't have chosen a better place for our wedding!

  The BEST venue

  The Country House at Bluestone exceeded ALL of our expectations! One of the reasons we chose this venue is because of the high reviews regarding food and drinks. To say that the food was the star of the show is an understatement. It was SO delicious. Our guests told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to because of the food and service! The service and staff were more than outstanding, Alena helped us so much throughout the entire process. We are so grateful for her talents and support. Lu helped us throughout the day of so much, and kept everything running smoothly. We felt that we got more value for what we paid for than we could have imagined. We are so grateful for the Country House at Bluestone and the staff that helped at our wedding be the best it could be. There isn't a better venue, and a higher recommendation that we can give them. They really made this day the best day of our lives! Thank you.

  Your Guests will say "greatest Wedding Ever."

  This was the experience of a lifetime (we truly hope because we plan to only marry once). All our guests rave this was the best wedding reception they ever attended. The food is incredible, my goodness just incredible. Nobody went home hungry and the all inclusive package provides great value with all that is provided. Alena and Lu took such good care of us as Wedding Coordinators and Event Specialists from start to finish, always with kindness and a smile (and very helpful tips along the way).   Highly recommend

  I wish it was possible to state how happy we are for picking The Country House at Bluestone for our wedding venue, and how thankful we are for the entire Bluestone staff. Our wedding could not have been more phenomenal (unless it was longer, because like everyone says, it completely FLIES BY). To begin, our ceremony was off site at a church, but we had a beautiful indoor and outdoor cocktail hour and an incredible reception. The Wedding Coordinator and Event Team made the entire wedding planning process so smooth and enjoyable. Because of them, our stress level was so very small. They were very prompt with answering emails and phone calls during planning. As for the reception, they made sure the entire night ran perfectly, and as far as we know, it did. We cannot thank our bridal attendant enough for attending to us, our parents and our bridal party. From the second we returned to Bluestone from the ceremony, she was there asking us what we needed. She made sure we had full drinks and full stomachs. She took note of of our interests (sushi) and brought us a whole plate while we were socializing during cocktail hour. I cannot speak highly enough of the Bluestone staff. The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful, and don’t even get me started about how gorgeous the bridal suite was… It was everything we ever dreamed of. We highly recommend Bluestone! Many people had SO many compliments. We are so beyond thankful we chose to spend our special day at Bluestone. I keep saying our wedding was a really life fairytale. I hope one day soon to return to Bluestone as a wedding guest, so I can take it all in from the other perspective.

  The most perfect venue!!!

  We cannot say enough amazing things about getting married at the Country House at Bluestone. We were a postponed COVID wedding and cannot be more appreciative of how they handled the situation. The entire staff was so easy to work with, responsive and made our day feel so special. The food was also incredible, our guests are still raving about everything.

  Amazing just Amazing!!

  The Country House at Bluestone made planning our wedding a breeze from start to finish.  This was the first venue we looked at and we fell in love immediately.  From the courtyard for the ceremony to the beautiful ballroom.  Everyone was so helpful at Country House at Bluestone helping us plan down to the small details.  Especially since we were planning our wedding from New York since our family lives in PA.  Alicia made sure we didn't miss any details she made sure she was on top of everything.  She was so accommodating since we were only able to come to the venue 3 times in total to finalize everything.  We mostly communicated via email but let me tell you she knew exactly what to do.  We were fortunate to have our ceremony outside because it was so beautiful outside!  Thank God for the great weather.  Our guests kept saying how beautiful the venue was and that others should have their events there in the future.  Another reason we picked the Country House at Bluestone was because of people raving about their food.  Let me tell you they did not disappoint with the food!  Amazing food and best of all our guests didn't leave hungry like at most weddings.  If there was another event to host in PA The Country House at Bluestone is our go-to venue amazing!!

  Oh my God. I'm just going to sum this up quickly- Get. Married. Here. Just do it. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This venue has eeeeeeeverything and working with the staff was absolutely phenomenal. Every single staff member- even the people who weren't involved in our wedding planning, was amazing. My husband and I have never felt more taken care of in our lives, our parents were BLOWN AWAY by the support they received, and our guests couldn't be happier. The food was to die for, the AMOUNT of food that was served was incredible, the SERVICE WAS INCOMPARABLE. I'm telling you- they were so so so accomodating from day 1, but wow was the wedding day blew me away. It was more than I could even imagine. Truly, I don't have words. The entire staff and team at the Bluestone are family now. We also had 3 guests who are now getting married there strictly just from their experience at our wedding and seeing the magic that the Bluestone put together. Laciann, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't have asked for a better night! There are too many names to name but you are in good hands with whomever. Phenomenal! Chef's kiss.   Perfect Venue!

  We immediately fell in love with the garden (and this was on a dark & storming fall day). Our wedding was everything we could have asked for and more. The garden and reception room were BEAUTIFUL and I was blown away at how amazing everything looked the day of our wedding. The staff at Bluestone were nothing short of amazing and took care of every single thing we needed and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. The event coordinators do a nice job communicating with you and helping you stay on track. Thank you Bluestone for the best wedding day ever!!

  Truly - Wedding of our Dreams!

  Truly - this was the wedding of our dreams. The space was so welcoming, the leaders who organized didn't want us to worry about a thing (shout out to the incredible, Amanda!!), the food was spectacular and truly the customer service throughout the entire planning process was above and beyond. We are so thankful to have chosen The Country House at Bluestone and we would get married and have our reception with them again and again!

  We had the wedding of our dreams here

  I honestly don’t even know where to begin. I can’t find the appropriate words to describe this venue, the planning team, and their absolute perfect execution on our wedding day. It’s been 2 weeks since our wedding and our guests are still telling us how great it was. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better day and this venue had everything to do with it. Thank you bluestone and Alicia/Alena, and everyone involved. You truly made the most memorable day of our lives perfect.

  Luckiest Bride in the Workd

  Emily and the rest of the staff were beyond amazing!! We had plenty of Covid struggles throughout our wedding planning, but Emily made the venue the LEAST stressful part of everything. From the beginning, they were compassionate, flexible, and always ready to make any change we wanted. I heard so many horror stories about how venues have been handling the crisis but Blue Stone was the complete opposite. They understood how important and difficult this decision was and accommodated any request we made. They were not out to get us or punish us for making changes, they were aware of what was out of our control. The actual day of our wedding was perfect thanks to Emily. We even switched party locations at the last minute due to her suggestion (she never steered us wrong!). The food, as usual, was delicious and she even offered to pack up food to go for one of my bridesmaids who was only staying for the ceremony. I can’t say enough positive things about Emily and Blue Stone. We can’t wait to be able to have another event there!!

  We LOVE Bluestone

  Bluestone was the absolute best location for us to celebrate our wedding day. We worked with Emily and she was amazing. Very responsive, helpful throughout the whole process, gave great advice and guidance, and made everything run smoothly the day of. We could not have asked for a better venue and staff to help make our day perfect. We got married in November, and the garden was filled with beautiful purples and yellows. The food is by far one of the best I've had at weddings, and the decor and layout of the venue is stunning. They only book one wedding/event per day, so you have the whole venue to yourself, and the staff is very attentive and helpful. The bar is AWESOME. Everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say about Bluestone and the food and the bar! My husband and I urge all our friends and family to host an event there just so we can go back and enjoy the venue as a guest. And ladies, the bridal suite is exquisite - perfect for photos. We cannot say enough great things about Bluestone and we would recommend it to anyone. So grateful we could celebrate our marriage at this wonderful country club.

The whole Bluestone staff also helped make our night more amazing than we could have ever pictured! At one point in the night, we had the sweetest moment with an employee at Bluestone who told us how much he loved working weddings and how he was so happy to be there that night, it made my night! I feel like most brides would never say that they had no worries the day/night of their wedding, but I didn't, and a big part of that was because of the fantastic team Bluestone Country Club has! Emily, the event coordinator, was amazing and typically answered questions in minutes from me sending my email. From start to finish this was the best experience imaginable. The venue was beautiful and the food was over the top. My guests are still talking about it.
