  Working with Marissa as a vendor at the Cotton Company with a pleasure. She was responsive to all the needs of guests and wedding party, being sure that the event ran on time and all the small details were taken care of. The venue itself is absolutely amazing - probably one of my favorite venues. The exposed brick truly made it fell like a fall wedding. Simple and elegant.

  We couldn't have picked a better reception venue! The Cotton Company is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for us. We had so much flexibility with this venue which is one reason why we chose it and Beth and her team were awesome. During the reception, we got so many compliments on the venue. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

  Thanks to Amanda and The Cotton Company for helping provide us with just the right venue for our daughter's reception. Amanda was always prompt with response to any questions we had and handled the actual event planning with complete professionalism. Her help with choosing linens and table arrangement was exactly what our reception needed. Everything was set up well in advance and there was always someone checking to make sure that the caterer had everything they needed. The exposed beams with track lighting, brick walls, beautiful front windows and the white lights were just what our reception needed. We loved being with you for two days! Thanks for the memories!

  I held my reception at the Cotton Company and loved it! It's located in historic Wake Forest, which made for some pretty beautiful (& unique) wedding photos. The Cotton Company fit us as a couple much more than a ballroom did. It's got an eclectic feel to it that I loved playing up. It was a great price, and they let you go with any caterer you wanted (all they asked was that you let them know how you liked your caterer afterwards so that they could know if they should add to their list of recommended caterers). Amanda, the event coordinator, was great and such a doll - I could email her about the most random things and she would always respond in a quick manner, and was very helpful! If you're planning on serving beer and/or wine, you order it through them AND you get to keep whatever isn't leftover afterwards (if you have any leftover, we did not).

  We had a wonderful experience with the Cotton Company as our venue for our reception. It was the perfect space for the type of reception we were looking for. They were great to work with, always happy to answer questions and let us see the space leading up to the wedding. Our guests commented on how unique the space was. It's the perfect place if you are willing to/want to bring in our own rentals and food.

  Tory Hamilton is a FABULOUS events coordinator for the Cotton Company. She was one of our favorite people that we dealt with during our planning. The Cotton Company provided a beautiful setting for our wedding and reception. We enjoyed the free wine tastings provided each month leading up to our wedding - they really helped inform our decision about which wines to serve at the reception. Bringing in our own vendors for flowers, cake, dj, catering and rentals was really quite easy with Tory's help. Another wonderful thing about getting married and having our reception at the Cotton Company is that our party felt like historic downtown Wake Forest was ours that evening - it felt like we had the entire S. White street area to ourselves and there was plenty of very close street and parking lot parking. We LOVED the entire Cotton Company experience. We go back now and visit the area with fond memories.

  Tory and The Cotton Company were great! Tory allowed us and our rental company to come in the day before and decorate everything to our liking! It looked wonderful! The space was just perfect! Tory provided us with lists of vendors that she had worked with in the past and helped us with our planning. I would highly recommend the Cotton Company for any event!

  Overall I was happy I had my reception there but they are very inflexible. It took forever to get the alcohol list and they will only allow you to get your alcohol from them but they dont provide a bartender. This makes things slightly more expensive as lots of places have a corking fee. They are also very picky about the clean-up afterwards. Other than the area is beautiful and perfect for a small wedding.

  Overall I was happy I had my reception there but they are very inflexible.   The first thing that concerned me with this place was the fact that we had confirmed a date but then come to find out a week later that they had "double booked" us with another couple. Do to this fact, we had to make some minor arrangements but everything worked out.
  
  They changed coordinators on us 3 times; due to the turnover rate there. With this said, the last one we got was very helpful and ensured we were set for the day of. However, on the day we tried to reach the coordinator (who was covering for her counterpart) in charge of our day and could not contact them.
  
  Overall, I would have to say that I was happy that we could decorate however we wanted and the price was right for what we received. I would recommend this vendor to a friend even though we had these experiences.
