We recently had our wedding at Castle Hill in May of this year. The venue is absolutely beautiful & definitely brought our dream wedding to life! It’s nice & very convenient for our guests to have everything in one location .. Chapel, Ballroom, Courtyard, Guest Rooms. (The chapel is what sealed the deal for us, absolutely breathtaking!)
Jean, Emily & the staff were very professional, personable & accommodating.
Emily went over & beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of. All of our guests complimented on how gorgeous the venue was & had an amazing time! I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding!

Castle Hill is a gorgeous venue and was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding. They made her dream wedding a reality! The staff was very professional and personable and we could not have asked for a better experience. Even when unexpected circumstances arose, they were very accommodating and took care of us. All of our guests bragged about how beautiful it was and how wonderful the food was. Jean and Emily are very organized and lend their expertise in helping plan and execute the perfect day!

I highly recommend Castle Hill as a wedding venue. Jean has continued to make it more and more beautiful throughout the years. We originally planned our ceremony in the courtyard but after seeing the doors open to the chapel we couldn’t resist getting married in the chapel. Jean and Emily were so so helpful throughout the whole process. Jean also cooks the food for the reception with her team and we received so many compliments on her food. People said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. If you are looking for a gorgeous venue that will not disappoint then Castle Hill is for you.

We had the most perfect wedding and experience using Castle Hill of Oxford. Emily and Jean are both wonderful to work with and made our day go off without a hitch. The venue is beautiful, the food is delicious, and we just couldn't have asked for anything different. Happy bride and groom!

Most amazing experience ever! We absolutely loved working with Jean & Emily at Castle Hill! Emily made sure everything was completely taken care of the day of the wedding, and Jean assured the food was phenomenal for our reception! The chapel was GORGEOUS and we had the most wonderful day!

Jean and Emily are incredible to work with and help with everything that you need! It was so nice to be able to get married in the new chapel and then walk a few steps over to the ballroom for our reception! It was also very convenient for my parents to stay the weekend in the rooms that are offered upstairs. Castle Hill is a one stop shop for everything you need for your wedding! We could not have picked a better venue. The food is also amazing! You cannot find a better venue filled with beauty, hospitality, amazing owners/employees and professional advice and help! Highly recommended!

My daughter got married at Castle Hill two weeks ago. We could not have asked for a better or more beautiful venue! Emily and Jean made sure we were connected to the best vendors and helped us every step of the way. The food was incredible and the chapel is the prettiest one you will find!! Jean and Emily at Castle Hill made our wedding experience amazing! Their professionalism and knowledge helped us plan and execute the best wedding imaginable. We toured other venues in Oxford, and none were as beautiful and reasonably-priced as Castle Hill. You would be crazy not to pick this venue! We still have people calling us a week after our wedding telling us that it was the best wedding they have attended. Nothing but great things to say about Castle Hill, Jean, and Emily!

Castle Hill was absolutely my dream venue for our reception. It is the most elegant and dreamy space that can be made to hold a lot of people or shut off for a smaller amount of people, including a GORGEOUS courtyard for an outside wedding if you choose. The ladies at Castle Hill are what make it so special. They are so laid back and accommodating. The fact that they supply tables, chairs, plates, napkins, etc. makes setting up and taking down a DREAM. And the food is by far the best catering you will find in Oxford. Hands down the best decision we made for our weddings was having our reception at Castle Hill.

Castle Hill was the absolute perfect place for my wedding reception venue. Jean and Emily were wonderful to work with, and we received SO many compliments about the beautiful venue and food from out wedding.

We got married on March 10, 2018, and Castle Hill was the perfect place for our wedding! Emily was our wedding coordinator, and she was so accommodating throughout the entire process. She checked on me multiple times while we were getting ready and made sure every detail was perfect. Jean, the venue owner, is also the chef, and EVERYONE raved about the food. Every bit of it was delicious! These ladies made sure everything was in check and helped make our day perfect. Not only that, but the property is just beautiful. Most of my husband's family is from Nebraska, so we wanted to show them a sweet southern wedding. They all just loved the venue and all the details in the house. Overall, we wouldn't have changed a single thing, and we very much recommend Castle Hill as your wedding venue!

This was the first place my daughter looked at for her wedding venue. She feel in love with this beautiful home and did not look at another place. Everything was beautiful for the wedding and the food was excellent. Tess and Jean were the best to work with. Brittney could not have made a better choice. Her wedding was everything she wanted!

We could not have asked for a more perfect reception venue! With the new addition of the ball room it was everything we wanted and more. They were so helpful and let us set up early and answered our million questions. They even have a private room for the band off the stage! I can not tell you how many people have complimented the food (Thank you Tess) and the service. Not once did my husband or I have to ask for something or go get something ourself...we were waited on the entire night. I would VERY highly recommend Castle Hill to anyone looking to get married in Oxford.

My daughter was married at Colonel's Quarters at Castle Hill on 6/27/2015. Choosing this venue was the BEST decision of our lives. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff were outstanding. Everyone went out of their way to make this day perfect. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Tess (thank you) understood our vision and completely exceeded our expectations. I cannot tell you how many people came up to us and told us that this was the BEST wedding they had ever been to....in fact, one man stated that he had been to a lot of really nice weddings, but this was the BEST!!! The food was outstanding. I didn't get a chance to eat much, but all my friends and family raved over the food. I continue to get messages from friends and family telling me what a GREAT time they had and how wonderful Colonel's Quarters was for a wedding. The place is impeccable!!! So elegant. Also, I have to shout out to our wonderful florist, The Twisted Twig, Sammy Kim (our DJ), Patricia Farrish who provided the most beautiful and delicious cakes, and to Karla Watson (and her sweet husband, Jake) who were the most patient photographers ever. I would definitely recommend Colonel's Quarters to anyone. Every penny spent is well worth it! We could not be more pleased. We will share our pictures with Colonel's Quarters for you to see for yourself. Tess, you are such a professional. You said everything would be okay, and it was!! HUGS to you and your staff!!!!

We just had our son's wedding at Castle Hill this past weekend and it was wonderful. Every time I talked to Tess she would assure me that "she had this" and SHE DID!!!! The weather got too hot for an outside wedding and with no problems at all they were able to move the ceremony inside and flip the ballroom for the reception. Wonderful room for the bridesmaids to dress. Great Rebel room for the groomsmen to "hang out" while the ladies did hair and make-up. My florist stayed in one the the suites and it made it very easy for her to fix the flowers. The food was incredible. I do not know who the chef is but AWESOME. Wonderful wait staff, ready to serve. At bill time, Jean had the bill ready, no hidden fees, exact cost that I had been quoted. If you are looking for a wedding or party venue in Oxford, you have found it!!!

We loved our wonderful wedding at Castle Hill! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the new ballroom makes the flow of guests work out perfectly! We worked with Tess from the beginning and her suggestions and help were spot on! Her staff treated our guests with huge smiles and total professionalism from the minute they stepped into the foyer, to the ceremony, the gorgeous pool area to the ballroom! The food was all made here and we are still getting rave reviews from our friends and family ! It could not have been more perfect! I am a detail fanatic and every single detail was perfect. I just cannot say enough about this beautiful venue. Do not hesitate! Book it!

Ms Jean and Katherine were both so helpful in the planning stages of our wedding and were willing to help with anything. They helped make everything as stress free as possible. Our actual wedding day was perfect. Everything went off just like it was suppose to and they made sure of that. It could not have been more perfect. Everyone at the wedding said how beautiful a venue castle hill is and how wonderful all the food was. I would highly recommend Castle hill!!

The food was amazing and the venue breath taking! I am still getting emails and text about how much everyone enjoyed the wedding! The outdoor facility was breathtaking for a wedding! Aundie and Jean were on top of all of there responsibilities and performed them gracefully. The venue is reasonably priced and worth every penny spent. They made the event stress free and something i will never forget. I would recommend this location to everyone, it was spectacular!

If you're looking for a place to have a wedding and/or reception, look no further...The Colonel's Quarters is a beautiful Southern style mansion which serves as a Bed & Breakfast, restaurant and a venue for any occasion. Randy & Jean Abrams were absolutely wonderful to work with, and everything was immaculate. Their staff was professional, friendly & attentive, and the food was excellent. They have a young lady that coordinates the wedding & the reception which was so helpful. Thanks to all their services, I was able to take in the moment and enjoy our guest.

We had our wedding reception here and they were a really great group of people to work with. Mom was in East Tennessee, daughter was in Mississippi but they were great about keeping everyone in the loop and staying connected through phone and email. They were also very good at coordinating with our other vendors so everything went off without a hitch. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy the reception. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.Mom's family took advantage of the guest rooms onsite which are very beautiful and very comfortable. All in all a very stress-free experience. My advice would be if you hire quality vendors, step back and let them do their thing.

My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at this place. Many have commented that it looked like something out of a fairy-tale, and it really was. The location is abosolutely gorgeous, and owner, Jean, will give you endless ideas and show you pictures of previous weddings. There is now an in-house chef, Bubba Gross, who was fabulous along with his coordinator wife, Jennifer. These three make an excellent team, and it's so convenient to have such a "package deal." The Colonel's Quarters is also a bed and breakfast, which we used to the fullest. We booked nearly all the rooms there from Thursday on, which gave us the capacity to spend incredible quality time with our friends and family. Not only is the place beautiful, but the owners and staff are there to cater to your every need. It was easy and fun planning with them, and it turned out to be everything I dreamed our wedding would be, and more! HIGHLY recommended!
