We got married at The Club at Longview this past September, and we truly could not recommend it enough. Shelby was an absolute dream to work with — attentive, organized, and so thoughtful in helping bring our vision to life.
The reception space was the perfect size for our 115-person guest list, feeling spacious without losing that warm, intimate atmosphere. The newly updated outdoor patio was an ideal ceremony location, and the golf course provided a stunning backdrop for our photos. There are so many picturesque spots throughout the property, both indoors and outdoors, that made our photo gallery absolutely beautiful.
Overall, Longview exceeded every expectation — from the gorgeous grounds to the exceptional food and the kind, professional staff. It’s truly a breathtaking venue, and we’re so grateful we chose it for our wedding day. -

Our venue was absolutely incredible from start to finish! After having a really disappointing experience with Champagne Manor and needing to find a new venue, we were nervous about starting over — but this team completely turned everything around for us. Their communication, organization, and kindness made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. They truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and that we felt supported every step of the way. Our wedding day ran flawlessly, and it was everything we could have hoped for (and more). We are so grateful to the entire team for making our dream wedding come to life! -

As residents of Longview, we’ve always known the Club to be a special place—a sanctuary of warmth, elegance, and community. But on our wedding day, it became something far more magical than we ever imagined. It wasn’t just a venue. It was the heart of the celebration.
From the very first meeting, Shelby Rouse and Audry Sevin led with grace, clarity, and a level of attentiveness that’s difficult to put into words. I am—by all accounts—an extremely detail-oriented person who values warmth and intentionality. My biggest hope was that every guest would feel welcomed, at ease, and deeply cared for. Shelby and Audry delivered on that hope tenfold. Every question was met with patience. Every moment was handled with precision. Every detail mattered to them as much as it mattered to me.
As I stood on the balcony overlooking the course moments before walking down the aisle, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace. The setting was flawless—elegant without being ostentatious, intimate despite the grandeur. And what struck me most was the feeling that everyone on the Longview team was genuinely invested in the experience—not just executing a timeline, but making sure our love story was honored in the most thoughtful and beautiful way.
Everything went to plan, but that’s not why our wedding was perfect. It was perfect because we felt completely valued, supported, and celebrated—something only Longview could make possible.
The hospitality that day didn’t feel like “service.” It felt like family. That’s the gift Longview gives its members every day—and it’s the reason we chose to host the most meaningful day of our lives there. Still, somehow, they managed to exceed even our highest expectations.
We will never forget the way they made us feel. And we will forever be grateful.

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at The Club at Longview and it was everything we dreamed of and more. Our day was perfect from beginning to end! From the moment we toured the space, we were blown away by the beautiful setting, including the beautiful green lawns, indoor decor, outdoor patio and lounges. The venue itself was stunning and required minimal decoration because it was already so picturesque.
The staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Shelby was incredibly responsive, organized, and supportive every step of the way. They made sure the day ran smoothly and handled any last-minute changes without stress.
Our guests are still raving about the food, atmosphere, and overall experience. The combination of ambience, scenery, decor, parking and everything the venue entails made this venue the perfect fit for us!
We can’t recommend The Club at Longview enough to future couples. It was truly a magical place to start our next chapter! -

February 16, 2025 wedding at Longview
Absolutely best wedding venue. We had our daughter’s wedding recently. The staff took excellent care of all our needs, wedding party as well as guests. The venue is stunning, especially for her winter evening wedding.
Beautiful fireplaces and candlelight were basically all that was needed for a magical evening. The filet mignon was tender, melt-in-your mouth. Fresh salads, delicious appetizers. Truly can’t praise everyone enough. From start to finish, a positive experience. Julie, you were great! Thank you for your expertise! -

Longview and Shelby created the wedding of my dreams!!! We worked together for a year and they made the planning process a breeze. Shelby was so creative, quick to respond to text/emails, and so accommodating. The venue is stunning, the food is amazing, and my guests could not stop talking about my wedding being the best one they have ever been to. I would recommend Longview to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Most importantly, they are honest and we felt so comfortable working with them. They never over promised, no surprise expenses, and delivered exactly what I asked for. 10/10!!! -

Exquisite, amazing, wonderful, professional, delicious food, amazing service and atmosphere and we are very thankful. Every detail was perfectly orchestrated. Our family is very grateful to the leadership of previous GM Steve Windham and leadership and coordination of Director of Catering Julie Neff who with our planner kept our event stress free!
The FOOD was DELICIOUS prepared by Longview's chef with amazing stationed and passed appetizers for cocktail hour, going right into a warm, delicious sit-down meal of filet, salmon and chicken. The meats and garlic mashed potatoes were a favorite of all and sincere thank you to Nancy Cole, Food and Beverage Events Manager as well as Misa and Audrey the banquet captains for the SERVICE were impeccable, with waters constantly filled, dishes cleared quickly. An additional call out to the amazing six bartenders as they kept the beverages flowing and everyone had a wonderful time.
Last, the DECOR of the club itself is iconic. One step in time with the old world feel of a castle with beautiful dark wood, a cathedral-like ceiling, circular wood staircase and stone fireplaces was perfect for our backdrop of candles, greenery and white flowers. The wrap around outside patio was perfect for the outside seating area and additional bars for cocktail hour overlooking a majestic fountain and golf course pond.

Highly highly recommend reaching out to The Club at Longview for your wedding ceremony and reception. We contacted the Director of Catering and Events in April of 2023 about our interest in the venue for our October 2024 wedding. We heard back within two days and quickly set a day to tour! About three weeks later we had signed a contract. Communication was excellent and we were provided a clear timeline for planning. In 2024 they hired an Events Coordinator with whom we carried out the rest of our communication and planning with. Shelby was extremely professional and made sure all questions were answered every time we talked. All notes from our tasting were reflected in the food and drink prepared and served on wedding day. We opted out of a cake and instead wanted cinnamon buns for dessert. Shelby coordinated with the chef and our cinnamon bun desserts were made in house, served warm! Service was excellent... I heard from multiple guests that drinks were quick and delicious, hors d'oeuvres were abundant and passed generously, and the flow of the evening went off without a hitch. You truly cannot beat the feeling that Longview provides. If you are looking for vintage, elegant charm with endless options for beautiful pictures and a patio and dinner space that will wow your guests, I highly highly recommend. Can't say enough good things, no regrets! -

For brides seeking a wedding venue that delivers the WOW factor, this stunning location is your answer—and you'll save significantly on decorations. With countless picturesque spots for photos and videos, every corner of the venue is both beautiful and distinctive. Even a month after my wedding, guests are still raving about how impressed they were. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. My coordinator, Shelby, who is from Longview, was incredibly patient and attentive, never missing a detail. Her prompt responses throughout the planning process were a huge relief, knowing that nothing I requested would be overlooked. Shelby's passion for her work and her unwavering support made all the difference. The team was incredibly accommodating to all my requests, and everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned—and then some. As a bride, you’ll have someone dedicated to checking in on you constantly, which, while amusing, ensures that your day goes exactly as you want. Shelby made sure that no changes were made without my approval, giving me peace of mind that everything would go according to plan. -

Once I visited the Club at Longview, I knew I wasn't getting married anywhere else. The look of the building, the greens, and the overall vibe was exactly what I was looking for. They happened to be available for the month I was looking to get married so it was meant to be. It's a mini Bitmore in South Charlotte with lots of hotel options around so extremely easy for out of town guests. Julie was the events contact who I originally worked towards the beginning. She was amazing and was willing to make it work for a large wedding (one of their biggest) ! I then worked with Shelby who played a big part of making the wedding of my dreams come true. We worked on the details and perfected everything up until the last day! I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception venue. Our guests thought it was absolutely beautiful! -

The Club at Longview provided the most beautiful venue for our only daughters dream wedding. The place was like getting married in a castle. From the welcoming rod iron gates to the amazing ball room. The food was the best our wedding guest said they had ever had at a wedding.
There are plenty photo opportunities around the venue, from the spiral staircase to the beautiful grounds around the club. The coordinator and all the staff were more than helpful and gracious to all our needs. I would highly recommend The Club at Longview!!!!!!The Club at Longview's reply:

I’m so glad we chose the Club at Longview as the place for our wedding ceremony & reception! Here are some reasons you should consider it as your venue:
The picture opportunities!! My favorites were the grand spiral staircase (exquisite for wedding dress flowing down the stairs), the upstairs board room (the perfect place for hair/makeup getting done and first looks), pictures from the grass with the venue in the background (looks like a castle), and the gorgeous large windows that bring some incredible natural light into the venue. Also, our grand exit with the sparklers was perfect - there’s a beautiful wrap around driveway for the getaway car.
I always thought I strictly wanted an indoor venue, but I was grateful for the incredible outdoor photo opportunities, even in hot weather. I like that you have the choice of indoor or outdoor, and the photo/video team can be creative with the shots. My favorite was the drone video footage as we stood on the balcony of this beautiful venue and it zoomed out to show the gorgeous green landscape! We chose to do the ceremony inside (cozy fireplace background), cocktail hour and photos with family outside, then we came back in to have it beautifully set up with a dance floor for the reception.
So many fantastic dining options for your guests; the three entrees we chose were the fennel & garlic pork chop, joyce farm chicken breast, and seared salmon with the roasted vegetable medley and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Came with side salad, rolls, and appetizers (a long list to choose from). The flavor was exceptional. I’m grateful we did not need to find an outside caterer or worry about setup; so much was included in our experience and it was worth the cost.
It is on a golf course, but rest assured - if you rent out the venue and especially if you have the wedding in the evening, there’s no need to worry about golfers in the background of the pictures or anything like that. Our area was closed off to any club members. I liked the gated entrance with security; I knew all wedding guests would be on my list.
Finally, Julie was a wonderful contact for us at the venue and was so kind in answering all of our questions. I’m the type to have lists of questions and concerns, especially for something as significant as my wedding day, and she made sure to address all of them.
Our friends continue to tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We are thrilled that we got to have our special day at such an incredible location. -

The Epic Experience we were going for
Venue is pristine, very flexible with your vision of your day and made planning almost effortless. Julie works with your vision, is very responsive and organized.

Incredible worth every penny and then some!
WOW, is all I can say.
We had a destination wedding, we live in OH and getting married in NC. The club at longview staff made it SO easy and were so helpful. The club is so beautiful and full of charm, plus the food and service during the wedding, cocktail hour and reception was UNMATCHED. The team did an incredible job and we cannot thank them enough! Our guest loved all of it! Plus you cannot beat the views, if you are looking for a country club wedding this venue is the one! No detail is overlooked!The Club at Longview's reply:

The Club at Longview was the perfect venue for our wedding – we cannot recommend it enough! After looking at several venues in the Charlotte area, we were sold after out first visit at Longview. The views are breathtaking as you drive through the gates, past the perfectly groomed golf course, up to the castle-like venue. When you walk in the main entrance, you are greeted with vaulted ceilings and a spiral staircase that makes you feel like you are in a fairytale. We took pictures here on our wedding day and they turned out amazing! The architecture of the entire space has a very classic and warm feeling to it. We visited other country clubs and they felt too corporate/modern to us.
Aside from the space being a homerun, Julie and the staff at Longview were fantastic. We had a few meetings with Julie ahead of the wedding where she walked us through all the details. She made it a seamless process and took care of practically everything (setting up tables, chairs, name cards, plates, table arrangements, etc) so we could focus on all the other details of the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. The space was perfectly decorated, the food was fantastic (especially the short ribs & filet), and came out quickly for our 150 guests! We loved the appetizers and late-night bites that were offered as part of the package.

Kelly Walters was our point person for our wedding and she was fabulous - as was her team; in fact every employee we encountered at The Club at Longview was warm, gracious and helpful in making all of us feel like VIP guests for the day. Although our event was booked for 2-7pm we were told we could arrive as early as we needed to get ready and stay as late as we wanted. We arrived around 11am and were all wrapped up by 7:15, but it was so nice not to feel rushed and there was no additional fee for anything! Our Day of Event Planners (the only thing The Club at Longview required) were extremely pleased to work with such an accommodating venue and staff! I think this venue is the best kept secret in Charlotte (and you do NOT have to be a member to book an event at this gorgeous club.)The Club at Longview's reply:

This venue double booked our ceremony space with a golf tournament that they forgot to mention to us until 3 months before the wedding. Our family is flying in from far away so obviously we cant change the date and they refused to give us additional funds to help us change to a new venue that met our expectations. The venues were slim pickings since the date is so close and we ended up having to pay way more than what we budgeted for. I do not recommend this venue even though it is beautiful, their organization of events is horrendous. We booked this venue back in November 2022 and they didn’t tell us about the other event until june 2023, 3 months before the wedding.. Here is some of the email that we received after this occurrence. “Thank you for being understanding and handling this with such grace. As we discussed, we attempted to move the Longview tournament dates to 8.31-9.2.23, and unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. We explored the possibility of having the wedding on Thursday or Monday, but the dates were not ideal due to travel. We also discussed having the wedding on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Providence Country Club and your clients did not want to pursue this venue because they felt it was outdated. Words can’t express how awful we feel. We strive to ensure all our events receive the quality and attention it deserves. Stephany and Rodney would not have the Longview experience due to this other event.” A week after this issue occurred the big boss of the company called and told me that the event will go as planned and pretended like nothing happened. We already found another venue at this point and our trust in this company has dissipated. Please do not make the same mistake as us.
