Confidence in your catering choice and more!

The Clean Plate Club catered our Friday evening Welcome to Nashville event prior to our son's wedding in October 2021. But "catered" is not an accurate description of what Monica and company can do for your event. She handled the event rental supplier relationship as well as the beverage provider. That kind of engagement took a load off our shoulders and gave us confidence that it would be a successful, well planned event. The menu choices gave us plenty to choose from and provided a "nod to Nashville" opportunity if you want to select some local flavor. That's five stars in our book!

If you want a sure thing, go with Clean Plate Club!

Monica and her team at the Clean Plate Club delivered such incredible and delicious food for my wedding in May. The tasting was really fun, and everything was exactly as discussed on the day of. The service and buffet set up were executed beautifully. I'm still in awe of the logistics. The timing of everything went off without a hitch so I didn't even have to think about it. Pro tip: get the biscuits.

Chris and his team at Clean Plate were professional, easy to work with and took the time to understand our needs. The friendly demeanor of his staff, reflects back into your event. The food was great, and I would recommend their services.

CPC was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We are still getting compliments about the food at our wedding over a month later!

We wanted our guests to be treated to a southern spread since 90% were traveling from out of town. And boy did they get it! Bradley was super helpful in creating the menu and offering suggestions and alternatives. The execution was flawless and I had total confidence in CPC for the day of the event. They were great communicators and always quick to respond to any inquiries. Thank you, Monica, Bradley, and the CPC crew!

We moved to Nashville 34 years ago and the Clean Plate Club is the only catering company we have ever used. To us they as a company are perfection. Some of the events they have catered for us are : party for the Opera, numerous pool parties, brunches, wedding party , large and small birthday parties both seated events.

Yes ,I am in love with Monica, Chris, and Lisa Holmes and their excellent staff. I have always trusted them to gide me on the number of staff I would need to have the atmosphere I wanted. My advice is leave it to The Clean Plate Club and you won't be disappointed.

They are superb amazing caterers I have hired till now. I wanted my wedding to be perfect and they done their job perfectly. Everyone enjoyed the food and they also complemented me. For my events too, I am looking forward to work with you guys!

Everything about our experience with Monica Holmes and The Clean Plate Club was fabulous. From planning to execution of this party, Monica helped us to create a beautiful evening with a delicious menu. It could not have gone better and Monica made it seem so effortless. Best wedding food ever!! No one left hungry which was very important to me. Bradley and his team were so detailed and professional. The food all tasted amazing, and they were so flexible to help me tweak the menu exactly to my liking. Worth every penny and I would have them cater anything and everything I need in the future.

All of the food tasted just like it did at our tasting, and the signature cocktail made in batches was delicious! People just loved it! The bar lines and station lines never seemed too long either. Everyone really liked the uniqueness of the stations, we had a Taco Station, Asian Noodle Station, and Southern Station. The dessert station was a crowd pleaser. I could've eaten 10 of carrot cake cupcakes and oatmeal whoopie pies. We also had chocolate chip cookies, brownies and derby pies, and the cake was perfect!

All in all, our actual wedding day and night was executed very well. And I am very happy. The staff at the event did such a good job executing, and working with the sales rep from the beginning was a good experience too. Chef was nice, event manager on top it of, servers on top of everything. It was great!

Bradley and his team were fabulous! They attended to every detail, Arriving on time and leaving with everything- I mean everything- put up and in place. The staff was very engaging and attentive to any and every need we had. The food was incredible! We have received many compliments on how delicious the food was.

We had a cookout for a State Tournament and the food was great! Kids and parents loved both the hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings! The food was delivered in a timely manner and by a very courteous, very helpful young man. this is the second time we have used The Clean Plate Club for our event and we will use them again!

Easy to work with. Great with the menu and took care of everything to make the reception as painless as it would possibly be. Maggie went beyond the call of duty to make sure the event went off without issue. The food was excellent, the servers extremely friendly, and the guests had a great experience.

Monica Holmes at the Clean Plate Club is a caterer extraordinaire. I was planning my daughter's Nashville wedding from 6 hours away and relied much on email communication. Monica was always prompt in replying no matter what time of day or night a question popped into my head. It was very helpful that she oversaw all of the rentals and gave expert advice on them at no extra charge. She was also flexible and accommodating when I made choices that were outside of her recommendations. Monica throws a party as if it is in her own home and reflects upon her. This is very comforting on the wedding day; I didn't have to think about a thing, as I knew she was taking care of everything. In addition to her excellent planning services, she provides delicious and beautiful food! An added value is that her per guest quote includes 3 passed hors d'oeuvres, which others charge for, up to $6.00 each. And I cannot say enough about her service staff which was outstanding! In addition to all of the above, she provided the unexpected treat of a HOT breakfast while we were getting set up on the wedding morning!

Monica and her team are top-notch experts in not only event catering -- but event planning as well! Monica and I worked together for 3 months planning a dear friend's retirement party -- a party that people are still talking about as of this review two months later. Understand -- this wasn't just "any" retirement party -- this was nicer than many wedding receptions I've attended with approximately 100 people for an entire evening.

Monica works immediately to understand the vision for the event. We had a Texas themed event -- but more "upscale" TX. She immediately understood what that meant and on to the selection process we went -- food, decor, entertainment, etc.... Her services are seamless and the food is FANTASTIC. I am still having cravings for her corn pudding and key lime tarts. We had a formal buffet -- people were going back for seconds and thirds!

Monica treats folks with the upmost respect. Her team is fabulous -- very personable and eager to ensure all is well with the event. Monica and The Clean Plate Club will be my go-to caterer and event planner for all future events. She is a delight to work with and I can't wait to work with her and the team in the future.

The birthday party for my husband was a great success. The Clean Plate Club provided a fresh, seasonal, and contemporary menu. Working with Maggie Nichols made everything effortless. She was very professional and guided us to selecting the perfect food menu, bar menu and the proper amounts of everything according to my guest list. She stayed up to date on ordering and working with a party rental company.
I have had nothing but raves from all my guests! Honestly I haven't had that much fun at a party in a long time! Thanks.

The Clean Plate Club has made our Christmas Party easy. I don't have to do anything except choose the menu. The food is delicious and the wait staff is "Johnny on the Spot", I literally do not have to do anything; It is wonderful!

Chis Holmes was exceptional in his willingness to be flexible on the menu and on the time of the affair. I could not have wanted anything better. His wait staff were extremely profesional and made sure the guests had everything they needed to make the affair a success. The guests raved about the food and quite imprssed with the presentation.

The CPC staff is amazing! We had them in our home for a plated meal for 26. Everything they make is delicious, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked! They have creative ideas for food and also for decor, linen colors and set-up. I have used them for many events, both personal and corporate, and they never disappoint!

I cannot imagine a better experience with the catering for our wedding! From the initial emails, to the tasting, to the actual event... Monica Holmes and Clean Plate Club were warm and friendly, covered every detail and served the most delicious meal. They translated our initial ideas perfectly onto the plate and were genuinely interested and enthusiastic in us as a couple and our wedding. It was completely effortless for my husband and I. We have the upmost confidence in CPC and would use them again for other events in a heartbeat!!

The Clean Plate Club is an absolutely amazing catering company. After an incident with our venue, we were told we would have to find a new caterer 3 months before our wedding. Monica and her team at The Clean Plate Club far exceeded my expectations. They put together an absolutely amazing event. They were extremely flexible and willing to cater to any requests we had.

The food was beyond amazing. Every single guest commented on how outstanding it all tasted. Everyone said they had never had such tasty and high quality food at a wedding. Monica helped us put together a menu to fit the venue and time of year. The presentation was like something out of a magazine. Her staff is all incredible. They helped the entire event run smoothly. They were all extremely friendly and took care of our guests.

I cannot speak highly enough of Monica and her team. If you are considering using them for any event, large or small, they are exactly what you are looking for. I promise!

I hope those who read these reviews will take the one negative opinion (out of seven reviews) with a large grain of salt. I've worked with Monica on over 150 events. She doesn't "add" anything not agreed to in advance and has never charged "extra" for anything.

The reviewer that gave Clean Plate Club a 1.2 obviously doesn't know how to read a contract or simply wanted Clean Plate Club quality for a Cracker Barrel price after the contract was signed. This sounds like the reviewer who paid for 50 guests, invited 150 (who all showed up), and still didn't want to pay the amount agreed to in the contract for 50 people.

It is a sad that someone is allowed to make anonymous and unsubstantiated claims just to save a few bucks they didn't deserve.

Everyone who assisted with our event was friendly, enthusiastic, professional, helpful. From the first email and phone call to the site visit and all subsequent emails, response time was quick, answers were to the point and everyone involved was creative and obviously experienced. Monica Holmes and the Clean Plate Club made my daughter's wedding perfect. We had a seated dinner for 230 under a tent in our backyard and everything about it exceeded our expectations. When told what to spend our money on for our wedding, people always said, don't spare any expense on the food. It's what your guests will remember. It's so true! So we of course picked Monica and CPC for our reception. Monica is very hands on and will take control of what needs to be done, which is great, because she always makes things happen and they turn out wonderfully.

Thanks to Monica for guiding us through everything, answering all our questions, and giving us a wonderful memory of our big day.

With all the stress of a wedding, The Clean Plate Club put my catering worries at ease. Through their busy days, they were quick to respond and in constant communication leading up to my big day.
The tasting was professional, fun and relaxed. They truly made it an enjoyable process. Not to mention, the food was elegant and delicious. Great food and service - treats you like family

The Clean Plate Club has catered a couple weddings within our family and came highly recommended. We are so happy we chose them for our own wedding and special day! As a local Nashville caterer, they felt like family from the first phone call we had with them and they treated our event as important as if it had been a wedding of their own family member. They worked with us to ensure that our exact vision for the day was expertly executed -- right down to the bartenders make sure we had the perfect margarita! We received many compliments about how great the food and service was. The extra attention to detail, including a dedicated event manager, made sure everything was set up and ready to go at the church. We had one guest who had a very limiting dietary restriction and The Clean Plate Club chefs made her a personalized meal so that she could enjoy the event as well -- she is so used to feeling left out with just a salad at these types of events but was glowed with how great her plate was and being able to enjoy the meal with us. We highly recommend you consider The Clean Plate Club for your events.

Excellent reception dinner!

I used Clean Plate Club for my wedding reception and the food was AMAZING! Monica was excellent to work with and put together a fabulous menu that our guests loved and we continue to receive compliments on.

Clean Plate Club was recommended to me by a coworker. I sent them an email inquiry about an event that was coming up soon, and they quickly sent me back a suggested menu for the allotted budget with an estimated cost. Everything looked good and the price seemed fair! The server came with the food about 30-45 minutes before the party and was ready to go by the time the guests arrived. He did a wonderful job at refilling food trays, going around and collecting people's trash, as well serving some drinks. Everyone said the food tasted amazing! We had hummus and pita, a fruit and veggie plate, and some chicken and beef satays and sandwiches on rolls. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the way the sandwiches were laid out. They were kind of thrown into a pile on a big plastic tray, I thought at least a little something could have been done to make it look nice for the amount we paid.

Overall, we loved the service and food we received! We would definitely recommend again.

I was beyond pleased the service I received from the CPC. The food was outstanding, southern with a twist, and my guest just raved about it! Working with Monica was such a pleasure. She has a very calm demeanor which exactly what you want on your wedding day. Her coordination of the event was flawless and we definitely feel we got a great value for our money. Bradley and his crew at the Clean Plate Club were great to work with. The food was very good... passed appetizers were delicious, dinner was good, and the cup cakes were amazing! From all of the guests, there were never any complaints about amount of food or service so I guess that is good!

Bradley was always a short e-mail away and very responsive and professional. At the wedding I always saw him lingering around making sure everyone was catered to! That was nice.

Definitely recommend to other brides!

Excellent Food! Helpful Staff

One of the biggest concerns for our wedding was having food that people would enjoy. We got a lot of compliments on how good the food was at our wedding. The pricing seemed a little high, but we definitely got what we paid for. Harrison was very helpful in making suggestions about the menu, as well as managing the arrangements for the vendor for the tables, chairs, linens, dishes, etc. They're a busy company, so some times there were delays in responses to my emails and calls. On the whole, though, I was very happy with the service and the quality we received. If I have another big event, I will definitely hire them.

Weeks later, our guests are still raving about our food! Absolutely awesome! And, you can tell they've been doing this a while - they thought of every little detail, so we didn't have to worry about anything.

Clean Plate Club not only provided excellent food and service, Monica Holmes was a great coordinator. We did not take full advantage of all she was capable of, as we opted for a small (50 person) casual affair. But as we planned our wedding from out of town, it was great peace of mind knowing she had experience planning events, working with all our vendors, and we didn't have to do much if we didn't want to, yet she respected our DIY aesthetic. I would certainly recommend going with CPC if you want a tasteful wedding, and definitely if you want to go upscale gourmet.

I enjoyed working with the Clean Plate. I thought the food taste great. The only complaint I have is that I did not like receiving an additional invoice (unexpected) from the supply / rental company after the event.

Clean Plate Club really does do everything, which is helpful to a point, but be careful. It doesn't matter what you order, Monica will make her own additions without asking, and you will be charged extra. If you are not specific when ordering, she won't ask for more information, she will make decisions for you and those decisions don't come cheap.
