I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Doreen and her shop! I came in with a very specific idea for the style bridal gown I wanted. In fact, Doreen had ordered a dress I saw online through her catalog free of charge, and it was ready for me when I arrived for my appointment. However, this style that I envisioned didn’t work well for my body type. Doreen was kind and patient as my mom and I looked at various gowns ands styles. She expertly guided us through this process so much that I felt beautiful the whole time, and she helped me maintain my confidence in finding the perfect dress, which I did! Doreen absolutely knows what she is doing and what style of dress looks good on a body. The dress I found is not a style I initially considered, but she brought out this beautiful gown and recommend I try it. The moment I saw myself in the mirror wearing this dress, I teared up. I saw myself walking down the aisle to my fiancé in this dress and I knew it was it. I would not have found my perfect dress without Doreen’s sage advice. I encourage women of all ages to come here to find the gown you’ll love and to have a wonderfully positive experience! -

They don't take appointments, but you will be seen to. Willing to work with my budget. Doreen offers all types of solutions and ideas which provides more options. Plus, she does the alterations!! Large selection and maybe too many choices! :-)
I had so many compliments on my gown. It was just a bridesmaid dress done in white, but I was told I looked like a Greek goddess! -

I live out of state but knew I wanted to wedding dress shop with all the women in my family so we met up in my hometown (Fresno) to do it. Cinderella Cellar was the first (and only!) place we went and we had a wonderful experience! I had a few horrible dress shopping experiences and was about to give up, but Doreen worked her magic and I found my perfect dress at Cinderella Cellar. She was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. She is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on what size I should get (I'm kind of between sizes) and recommended the option that would work best for me - not just what would make her the most money. The prices were very reasonable, and you know what you're paying for up front aka no hidden fees. I have so much respect for Doreen and she runs a respectful, genuine business that I love. I loved it so much I'm doing my alterations there next time I fly home!
Another huge bonus was that Doreen let me take the sample dress home to try on for my grandpa, who was unable to make it to the appointment. That meant SO much to me and my family, and he cried seeing me in my wedding dress (it was extra special because he won't be able to see me in it again since he can't attend my wedding in Colorado). This gesture was the kind of thing that you only get with a small, family-owed boutique and it only solidified my love for CC, Doreen and this whole experience :)
I'm so thankful I happened upon Cinderella Cellar on Yelp, it was a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend any bride looking for a reasonably priced bridal boutique with fantastic customer service! -

Megan Sent on 07/18/2017I initially came here in early 2017 to purchase a bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding. Doreen was super helpful and did alterations herself and was very affordable. So of course when I got engaged I had to come here. I purchased my wedding gown from the Cinderella Cellar in May 2017.
We recently went looking for bridesmaid gowns as well and all three of my bridesmaids found beautiful gowns for the wedding. Doreen made a special appointment to open up just for us which was so sweet of her! Plus I got to try the sample version of my dress on again and it is just stunning I am still so in love with it. We also found the perfect belt accessory to compliment the sweet simplicity of my dress.
This is a DIY dress shop. You get to look through the racks and find dresses you might like. If that's not your thing, Doreen is great and if you tell her what you want or show her a picture she pulls the perfect gown off the rack for you to try on.
I've been to other shops like David's Bridal and it just isn't the experience I wanted and to be honest, the gowns aren't that much cheaper in price. Doreen is typically at the lower end of what sellers can sell gowns at and I would highly recommend the Cinderalla Cellar to any bride! -

She carries so many beautiful gowns and keeps a variety of sizes on her racks so every bridal can try something on! She also has a great price range. I would definitely recommend every bride stop by The Cinderella Cellar! -

Future M. Sent on 09/06/2015Where do I begin? I'm a low-key bride and can't handle the pushiness of mass retail bridal shops so I thought my journey to finding that special dress was doomed. Thankfully, I ended up on WeddingWire and found The Cinderella Cellar. This little quaint shop is amazing. The dresses are beautiful and the owner, Doreen, is the sweetest person ever! Not pushy, very patient, and very helpful to shy brides like myself. I did find something that I loved and wanted to customize the sleeves. I contacted the designer, but sadly the designer wasn't able to do this for me. Doreen came up with many suggestions in making my dream dress come true, but we ended up deciding that a custom dress was the way to go. I took many photos of the dress I wanted, including up-close detailing of the bead-work and went on my way to find a seamstress. Although I didn't find my dream dress at The Cinderella Cellar,I did purchase a wedding dress storage bag from her and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to any bride as the service I received was exceptional. Thanks Doreen!! -
User2520469 Sent on 01/28/2016Doreen, the owner, was awesome. She opened early so that I could come in and try on dresses with my mom and maid of honor. We had the shop to ourselves and it was such a great experience. Doreen pulled out some beautiful dresses for me to try on and I ended up picking one! She was helpful but not pushy, which was perfect. I'm so excited to go in for my first fitting; I only wish I didn't have to wait 5 more months for the dress to come in! I would definitely recommend a visit to the Cinderella Cellar!
Just want to add to my previous review: My dress came in early and Doreen was great with providing the alterations in a very timely manner. She took care of everything I asked. My experience with the Cinderella Cellar was overall awesome! Whether you are looking for a dress or need someone to alter the dress you already bought, I would definitely recommend this shop! -

As soon as my family walked through the door, she saw my twin toddler nieces and directed them to a bunch of toys in the shop which was a blessing. She asked me what I was looking for, and all I had to say was "something that will fit, and flatter me". My bridesmaids had picked a few off the rack, but the two that she brought for me were the winners! It was hard to decide which one i liked more. She knows what she is doing, and she knows what will look good on her customers! There were other brides in the store, but she is excellent at multi-tasking. I never felt any pressure from her, and the two dresses she had picked for me ranged low to high in price. I am a bigger girl and she had dresses in a wide range of sizes and budgets, which is very important to me. I told her I was going to Davids Bridal, (just to please my sister), and she smiled. ( I think she knew that I was going to come back). I am so glad I went here first!!! I knew that was THE ONE when I was walking away.
There is no quality to the dresses at Davids Bridal, and I tried on ten before giving up, and the sales people only care about the money, and put a BELT on the dress to make it pretty. A dress should never need a belt for you to love it.
Bottom line: Cinderella Cellar is fantastic, and has BEAUTIFUL dresses. They look and feel beautiful, and have so much detail.
OH, and a huge plus was that there are little fans in the dressing rooms! It gets hot trying on dresses, so that little touch of a fan in the room tells me that she cares about the comfort of her customers. Go here first! -
User2115883 Sent on 05/01/2015Can I just say Doreen is amazing! She is so sweet and helpful! My older sister and I both got our dresses from here. She had variety of styles and prices. It was so easy, one of the only stress free aspects of wedding plans . Definitely go in and check out this shop, I'm so glad I did.
