Jerry and Michelle were extremely accommodating and helped us every step of the way. They communicated with us throughout the year of planning, so nothing fell through or was missed. They helped us with all the setting up for the ceremony site and the reception. They were even willing to move everything once the weather improved, but I decided to leave everything as it was. My guests were in awe at how beautiful the property is, and they had the best time at our wedding. I highly recommend The Chrisitan Royer House for all weddings and other special occasions! -

Michelle and Jerry were absolutely amazing to work with! They helped us with every step of our wedding planning. On the day of it ended up raining for about 20 minutes right before our ceremony. Their staff brought in all of the things we didn't want to get wet. After the rain, they dried and cleaned every chair, set up our last minute decor, and looked over every detail one more time! This is just a small look into their dedication and hard work to make our day the best it could be! Highly recommend booking your wedding at the Christian Royer House!! -

Best Investment for our Wedding
The Christian Royer House was the best venue for my wedding! What Michelle & Jerry offer for their couples goes above and beyond anything else I've seen offered from other wedding venues & owners. They provide decorations, ceremony centerpieces, good lighting for getting ready, and a detailed planner with tips and tricks to help you plan a wedding according to their venue. Not only is this venue beautiful, spacious, and historic, but every room (and tent) has been setup to make life easier for the wedding party on the wedding day. We absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and the support Michelle & Jerry gave us was so helpful! Booking them was the best decision we made during the wedding process and highly recommend 100%! -

Awesome. Simply awesome. Highly recommend this venue to anyone. For one, the venue is beautiful and has many options for where you could get married on the property. It's primarily an outdoor venue, but it rained for part of our ceremony and it worked out just fine. However, the highlight of the experience was Jerry and Michelle themselves. They were an absolute delight to work with. They went above and beyond what you'd expect from a venue owner, and we couldn't be more grateful that we had the opportunity to work with them and have them on our team the day of our wedding and the days leading up. I have only good things to say about them and this venue... and the reality is, if for some reason you had a qualm or an issue with something, they would work with you to find a solution! Very great people. Awesome venue. Highly recommend. -

Michelle and Jerry- the 5/5/24 book launch of Adoption Songs was a success! I cannot tell you the number of messages I received today about how beautiful your venue is and how lovely of people you are. How kind, welcoming, accommodating. Your hospitality, creativity, attention to every detail, guidance on what could work and the ambiance of the incredible Christian Royer House! Just wow. It was a dream come true. The upstairs bridal dressing area was a perfect staging area for my team to get ready after set up. And our guest enjoyed to downstairs game room and main level living area for relaxing. The kitchen was ideal for getting our spread prepared. The venue space was spacious, yet intimate with the heaters on a chilly day. You launched us well! May God continue your bless you as you unselfishly bless others. -

The Christian Royer House was the PERFECT venue choice for our reception! My husband and I are Catholic, so our ceremony took place at our home parish, but we love the outdoors and wanted an outdoor reception without the worry and stress of potential poor weather. The minute we drove down the beautiful driveway outlined by trees to the Christian Royer House, I was already halfway convinced. One look at the property, a walk through the house and reception tent, I was sold. The property was gorgeous and included several areas for photo ops in and around the grounds (bridges, fountains, pond, etc). The house had a rustic, country, at-home feel to it with rooms for the bridal party to get ready upstairs and a game room downstairs for the gents to get ready, again wtih plenty of photo ops. The tent floor had decking so no worry about guests' heels sinking in wet grass, in the event of rain. Shortly after we hired the Christian Royer House, there was a change in management. Both previous and new owners practiced the utmost transparency with us and created a seamless transition which kept this bride from stressing out for real! I am forever thankful to all of those who took part in helping make our reception perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for any bride & groom looking for a touch of outdoors on their special day! Thank you to The Snyders and Ashley S., for coordinating one of the best days of our lives. Your excellent customer service and reliability will not be forgotten. -

My wedding was Prefect!
My wedding was as close to Prefect as you can possibly get! The venue is gorgeous, the staff are awesome, and you can't beat the price for the size of the venue. We just got out photos back and the venue made for the perfect backdrop. Everything went beautifully and I cannot thank them enough! -

The Royer House was absolutely spectacular! The facility is well maintained and has limitless possibilities for your special day! The owners are super sweet, easy to communicate with & they make you want to pull up a rocking chair & spend the night chatting!
Our daughters wedding was June 8,2018, we wish we could go spend a day reminiscing back at the Royer House!

The Royer House is an amazing venue; It truly has it all! The grounds are stunning, there is plenty of parking, the bridal suite is beautiful and the groom's suite is so fun! But what really makes this venue special is the amazing family who runs it. The Snyder's treat you like family while you are there. They are so helpful from the moment you book to the last minute of your reception. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to feel at home on their wedding day! -

Cristen Sent on 08/08/2018The Royer House was the first and only wedding venue we looked at. It is absolutely gorgeous! From the moment we met Jen and her family on our first tour, we knew we were in good hands and didn't feel the need to schedule any other venue tours. Throughout the entire wedding planning process we were treated like family. Every time another one of my family members wanted to see our venue, Jen welcomed us with open arms (literally- we were always hugged upon arrival)! I never had to wait more than a day for a response to my countless emails and phone calls, and she always reached out if there was something I needed to know. Oh- and BEST part about the venue- it's pet friendly! Our dog was in our wedding party and hung out at the reception :) Our wedding was beautiful and all ran smoothly thanks to Jen and the Royer House crew. I would most definitely recommend this venue to anyone!

I emailed Alex 100s of times asking questions and she was always informative and positive with each and every interaction. During our rehearsal and day of - Alex made sure we were on schedule, knew where to go and what was the best way to do things. I am SO incredibly appreciative of EVERYTHING they offered us. A relaxed setting where I got to create the wedding my husband and I wanted! Every guest raved about the beautiful driveway, pond and abundance of nature surrounding us :) It was an amazing day and I can't thank Alex and her family enough for everything!

First let’s start with their responsiveness, I had the pleasure of having Brittany had my day of coordinator and she was wonderful. Her along with Jen, were constantly in contact and would respond to every email very quickly. The Royer House lets you bring in your own vendors which is a huge plus and really helps you keep within your own budget. You also are the only wedding that day and get the venue for 12 hours which is a tremendous value. Brittany was incredible, absolutely the best on the day of keeping family members happy and everyone on schedule. It rained on my wedding day and there was seriously 1 hour to get pictures and the ceremony done and Brittany made sure that we were able to have both done outside before the heavy rain. The venue itself is stunning. The trees that line the drive way are beautiful the landscaping is done so well and the wisteria bloomed just in time for my wedding. The tent is gorgeous inside & they provide great portable restrooms. I cannot day enough good things about The Royer House. You will not be disappointed. -

Karen Sent on 12/30/2017I first emailed Jen at The Royer House to see if we could visit the venue and I knew it was going to be an incredible experience by her first response. Upon arriving at the venue, the beauty of the place took our breath away and we knew it was going to be the place where my daughter was going to be married. It was everything Sarah wanted, from the beautiful natural scenery, tree-lined driveway, and tented reception area. The family were absolutely wonderful, helpful, and accommodating. They made us feel right at home and helped us through the entire process. We were able to do the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all at the same place. Having the day of coordinator made the day go amazingly smooth. All in all, it was a perfect day. I would highly recommend The Royer House.

It was everything I wanted from the beautiful natural scenery to the professional and helpful owners/staff. Jennifer and Alex always responded promptly to my emails and everyone was so helpful in making my wedding day perfect. Even though, I was unable to have my outdoor ceremony due to the rain, I wouldn't have changed a thing. Alex was a godsend of a day of coordinator which was included in the cost. If you're looking for an amazing venue with an abundance of great photo opportunities, helpful staff, and a laid back, relaxing atmosphere, you can't go wrong in choosing The Royer House. -

Zach Sent on 12/20/2017Awesome vendor and location. We were able to do both the reception and ceremony, as well as rehearsal although we opted to skip. The property is very nice and relaxing big enough for a 200 person wedding we only had about 100. They were able to work with all our other vendors for a very easy day of. The huge pavilion is a nice plus, well lit and comfortable during October and its a good backup in-case it rains.
Another great feature for the wedding party is the house, plenty of space to relax, walk around the property and great spots for pictures, our photographer was very impressed. Speaking of other vendors they provided a very nice bar for the reception area which our bartenders were very happy with.
Overall you can not beat the price for everything you get here, worth the drive to check out the place very nice staff that responded well and coordinated with our vendors with no problems -

They were incredibly accommodating and willing to answer our many questions!! Let me start out by saying the venue is BEAUTIFUL! Everywhere you look you are surrounded by nature. The feel is serene and romantic. I loved that the bridal party and I could all get ready there. There girls on the second floor and the guys in a "den" in the basement where they could play pool and relax. The house also made for great pics with so much character and charm! The ceremony was held under a willow tree next to a pond and the pictures were AMAZING! It was truly a dream come true to have our wedding at The Royer House! -

Brittany Sent on 09/28/2017We are so happy we chose The Royer House. It was so convenient for everyone to get ready, do the pictures, ceremony,cocktail hour and reception all in one. When people arrived, their jaws dropped- not expecting a tent and pond to be so magical. The staff was awesome. Amongst all the chaos, they kept everything organized and on time. Yes, we started on time!

The Royer house is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. The rustic old house and the land makes it simple yet really pretty. I began my wedding planning and contract with the old owner who was very responsive and easy to work with. By the time our wedding came around the property had sold to a new owner. I was assured that my wedding would go as planned with the previous owner. The day came and went so fast and it was great because at the end of the day we did what we ultimately wanted which was to be married! However, our wedding coordination did not go as planned. We were and are still disappointed in the lack of coordination and communication that day. Events that were planned got skipped over and at the end of the night our guests were very frustrated. Long story short, the venue is perfect but the new owners have a lot to learn if they want to keep this venue going.
