The Chelsea catered our 160 person wedding at the NC History Center this past fall. Not only were the passed apps, plated dinners and late night BBQ sandwiches fantastic, but their service as above the beyond. Chris was wonderful to work with throughout the wedding process and the Chelsea staff did a great job at our reception! I would highly recommend letting the Chelsea handle the food and drink at your upcoming wedding, you won't be disappointed. -

The Chelsea catered my daughters wedding and the food was awesome; from the passed horderves to the plated lunch. We had so many compliments from the guests. The same goes for Johnny and the entire wait staff. They were attentive, courteous and just amazing. We were so pleased. I would absolutely recommend the Chelsea. Thank you to Chris, Johnny and the entire wait staff! -

The Chesea Restaurant and Catering was outstanding! Chris and Shawn and their catering staff were so helpful in providing wonderful service for not only our wedding, but our rehearsal dinner as well. The staff was courteous, attentive, and they worked really hard to put on a great event. Not to mention, the food was so delicious, and Shawn, who is the Executive Chef, ran the catering team and cooked for us onsite! Shawn tailored a buffet styled menu for us that left guests surprised at how great the food was and said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! This Chef knows great food with quality ingredients and style, and his passion for food is evident in the flavorful dishes created each day. Their BBQ shrimp and grits are out of this world along with their gourmet mac and cheese with spring onions and tomatoes! Thank you to The Chelsea Restaurant and Catering for your true southern hospitality and professionalism. I'm not surprised you are considered "the best restaurant in town" by those who have lived in and enjoyed New Bern over the years. You really helped us remain stress free, our guests full and happy, and went above and beyond for our special day. -

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were all extremely professional. We had an outdoor wedding and limited kitchen space at the venue, but the food all came out extremely fresh and hot - it was perfect! -

Very helpful in helping to plan the menu, easy to work with, and responsible. We were very pleased with the food and the service and felt the prices were very reasonable. The food is excellent. -

The Chelsea did a fabulous job with the food for my wedding. I had a clear idea of what I wanted and they worked hard to give us more than we imagined. I would recommend the tuna tacos and bacon wrapped scallops as our 2 favorite things from cocktail hour. Our guests raved over the shrimp and grit martini and the fried green tomato salad. I was amazed how perfectly all the filet's were cooked for the main meal. I will look to the Chelsea again for catering needs. -

It was great working with Chris from The Chelsea. He was very flexible with our budget and helped us get the most for what we had to work with. We served beef tenderloin, shrimp and grits and chicken bruschetta. It was absolutely delicious and we had so many compliments! -
