The Chapel Athens is an amazing venue for any event. I had my wedding at The Chapel in June 2026. From our first tour with Maddie to leaving in our trolley at the end of the reception, everything exceeded our expectations. We were initially drawn to The Chapel by its charm and curb appeal. We had previously attended a wedding at the sister venue Georgian Hall (also a great venue!) and talked about how amazing the food was even a year later. When we found out The Chapel was part of the same group, we knew that was our venue. Now after our wedding so many guests have raved about the venue, the staff and the amazing food and drinks. One of my favorite things about The Chapel is that you have the option to have everything done in house, from food/drinks to linens to flowers and planning services. I would recommend The Chapel Athens to anyone planning a wedding or any other event! -

This venue and this team is INCREDIBLE. The space is gorgeous, and they made our rehearsal dinner and wedding day seamless. They treated us so well and thought of every detail. They went above and beyond. Cannot recommend this venue enough. -

Flawless wedding reception
Oh my goodness!! I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to work with Calley and her team to make my daughter’s wedding reception so beautiful and special! I felt like the communication was top notch and Calley helped me think through everything! They know what they are doing! And the food is to die for!! I had guest coming up to me all night telling me it was the best wedding reception food they had ever had!! If you are having a wedding in Athens or close by…do it here!! -

The venue is very easy to decorate, parking is easy. The food was excellent, we received several compliments! Staff was very accommodating and the service for the rehearsal dinner was top notch.

We had our wedding this May at The Chapel, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! We fell in love with the venue's charm, the beautiful high ceilings, and large windows. From the venue to the staff, our experience was wonderful. Calley was there for us through the entire process and was very responsive and helpful during our planning as well as "behind the scenes" day-of the wedding. Our guests adored the venue and still talk about how good the food and drinks were. We felt like the team at The Chapel went above and beyond to make our day special!

In my time as a wedding planner, I have had the opportunity to work with many different venues and venue teams. My experience working with team here at The Chapel Athens far surpasses many of the other venues I have worked with previously.
I had the pleasure of providing planning services & floral designs for a wedding at this venue a few weeks ago. Lindsey, Maddie and the entire team are incredibly professional and super easy to work with.
The venue is stunning—elegant, intimate, and very thoughtfully laid out. Any time a venue requires to be 'flipped' from a ceremony space to a reception space, there is an added element of complexity to the process (and timeline). This team, however, has the 'flipping' process down to a fine art. Without skipping a beat, the room was promptly flipped, and every single team member knew what needed to be done to add all of the finishing touches. Every team member leaned in to ask what else needed to go on the tables, helped with setting chargers & place cards, lighting candles, etc. It was a flawless display of professionalism. Catering is provided by their in-house company and is absolutely top-notch—delicious, beautifully presented, and with seamless service. Once our very happy couple had retired for the evening and striking began, it was once again all hands on deck, and this team did not hesitate to help in EVERY way possible to make sure all rented items from us and all of the Couples' personal items had been accounted for. It was quite honestly a five-star experience from start to finish, and I very much hope for the opportunity to work with this venue much more in the future. -

Thank you so much to Maddie and the entire Chapel Athens team. Our day was so beautiful, and an absolute blast. Our guests haven't stopped raving about the venue, the food, and the service. We feel that the timeline and vision of our day was seamlessly executed by Maddie and her team. Thank you so much. We wish we could do it again 1000 times over. Beautiful, fun venue with excellent food!
We held our wedding reception at The Chapel Athens in June, and we are SO glad that we picked them! The venue was perfect for us: It’s a gorgeous setting within walking distance to all of downtown Athens, and we loved the indoor-outdoor ability of the space. We set up a tent in the outside courtyard, and guests enjoyed hanging out there in addition to the indoor space. The original church ceiling is beautiful and made for excellent acoustics for our band. One of the main feedback that we received from our guests was that they loved the food- multiple people told us that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Meagan and her team made the night seamless- the buffet was efficient and quick, and nobody had to wait for a drink at the bar. Meagan was able to honor all of our extra requests. We would absolutely choose The Chapel Athens over and over again! Thank you for making the reception of our dreams! -

Choosing The Chapel Athens was our best decision when planning our wedding. We felt Maddie and her team always had our best interests at heart. She actually made an 11th-hour suggestion that ended up saving us several thousand dollars.
In addition to the venue being beautiful inside and out, the food was outstanding and something many of our guests commented on during the reception and the following days. We communicated to Maddie several specific, important components of our wedding ceremony and reception. She and her team understood the gravity and executed them flawlessly.
We cannot endorse this venue enough. Book it now! -

Amazing Venue!
We had the absolute BEST time at The Chapel Athens for our wedding! Maddie, Lindsey, and the team at the Chapel were so great to work with - they were super responsive and very helpful during the entire planning process. On the wedding day, the staff had everything under control and the day was very smooth (and if there were any hiccups I didnt even notice). The ceremony was perfectly set up, and the room flip was done fast and efficiently! We were very impressed at how efficient the staff was during the flip. Cocktail hour was smooth, and there was never a long line at the bar. One of my favorite parts of the night was the passed espresso martini’s for dessert! They were delicious and came around quickly to guests. Not to mention the food is AMAZING! The venue itself is gorgeous. When we booked our wedding the renovations were not yet complete, and we were a little nervous. However, Lindsey kept us updated on all the plans and her vision really came to life. I had numerous guest tell me that this was their favorite wedding venue they’ve seen. We could not have been more pleased with the venue and our experience with the staff. They exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Would definitely recommend this venue and group to anyone planning a wedding! -

My husband and I got married at The Chapel on 4/20/2024, and it was spectacular. The venue itself is stunning, but it was our venue coordinator, Maddie, and her incredible staff who made our day absolutely perfect. The transition of the space from ceremony to reception was seamless, and cocktail hour on the patio in between was gorgeous. You will not regret having your wedding here! -
