Amazing venue!

The Channel Club was an amazing venue from start to finish. They were always quick to return a call or email. They addressed any concerns we had. They were incredible. The food delicious and abundant. We have not stopped getting compliments from our guest about the venue, food and service from the Channel Club staff. We could not have been any happier. Fred Liz and Staff we just so wonderful.

Fred and his team are amazing! Although his is slightly hard to reach over the phone at times, he executed everything perfectly and even though it rained on my wedding day and we had to move the ceremony and cocktail hour inside it was still the perfect day and everything I ever dreamed my wedding day would be! Thank you Fred for my dream wedding on the waterfront and so close to home!!

I can’t say enough about Channel Club, they made my wedding day dreams come true! It was beyond anything I could of imagined! Fred is unbelievable and takes all the stress out of planning a wedding. The staff is amazing and the nicest most accommodating people you will ever meet! Food is amazing also. I wish I could relive this day over and over again!

We got married on 7/14/18 and we couldn't be happier with the venue, service and overall experience. Fred was wonderful and very accommodating throughout the entire process. Our guests loved the location and the food. The weather was perfect, which made for great pictures for all! We highly recommend The Channel Club for your wedding.

We got married at The Channel Club on June 16th, 2018 and I get chills thinking about how amazing our wedding was. My husband and I spent 5 months looking at over 30 venues and knew The Channel Club was a perfect fit as soon as we walked in. Fred and the team took all of the stress out of wedding planning and delivered a seamless and absolutely beautiful event. Our friends and family are still raving about our wedding, the food, the service, the venue and the outstanding sunset views from the reception space. I was prepared for something to go wrong on our wedding day and nothing did! Fred had everything squared away which allowed my husband and I to have the time of our lives. I HIGHLY recommend The Channel Club.

I cannot express how happy I am that we got married at the Channel Club. Not only was the venue beautiful and the food incredible, but the staff were amazing. They are wedding experts and they really helped guide me through the planning process and the events of the day. We were so happy and the beautiful accommodations really helped create incredible pictures. We couldn't be happier and had the most amazing wedding at this venue. Highly recommend!

On April 13,2018 my daughter became a Mrs. Thanks to Fred and the staff is the Channel Club the day was more then perfect. Everything was over the top Fred thanks for seeing to every detail. The staff were so accommodating the food delicious the room WOW. The outdoor ceremony breathtaking. My daughter wanted it to be a party not the typical wedding and Fred you made it happen.

My husband and I got married at The Channel Club in August and it was the most perfect wedding! Fred and the whole staff are absolutely amazing. He had everything covered and our guests were blown away by everything from beginning to end. We live in California and were able to plan everything so easily because of Fred being so on top of things and so easy to work with.
The food was incredible. Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing it was.
My bridal party got ready in the stunning bridal suite and we had such an amazing and relaxing day getting ready for the wedding.
I highly recommend The Channel Club. I would do it all over again if I could. Thank you so much to Fred and the whole staff!!

The Channel Club was the perfect place to host our Summer wedding. From the delicious food to the beautiful space itself, everything across the board was absolutely amazing!!

But most importantly, Fred, the manager at the Channel Club was really the biggest reason why our wedding was such a success. Without his professionalism, kindness, and willingness to accommodate almost any request, our wedding day would not have been nearly as flawless as it was. Fred was able to make our lives "stress free" that day, as unbelievable as that sounds, but it's true. He is truly a man who loves his job and the quality of his work shows every bit of that.

Fred was fantastic right from the beginning. He showed us exactly the package that we would be getting and was not hiding anything. The venue was newly renovated for our wedding as well. He made the day extremely easy and painless. My wife told me later on that when she got there to get dressed he took everything from her and gave her a glass of champagne to relax and that he is taking care of everything. My wife and I did not worry at all on our wedding day. That is a venue that everyone should have.

My husband and I got married at The Channel Club in April 2017. The venue was newly renovated and couldn't have been more perfect. We dropped all of our decor for the ceremony and reception the day prior and didn't have to think about it after that. Fred was great through the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. He worked so well with all of our vendors and calmly/quickly solved any day-of hiccups as they arose. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely be returning to host future events at The Channel Club!

From start to finish, Fred and team were amazing. We fell in love with the Channel Club prior to their renovations because of the location and the beautiful sunsets and water. Then they renovated the entire venue and we couldn't be happier! Even when we came in for our tasting on a rainy day it still felt bright and sunny. Luckily, we were able to do our ceremony and pictures outside and get an incredible sunset. The day of, Fred and team were nothing but responsive to every request. They made sure we had food in our mouths, drinks in our hands, and everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. I wish they had an elevator for our older relatives, but otherwise the Channel Club was everything I could've wanted for my wedding and more - charming, beautiful scenery, amazing service and communication, and extremely affordable. It was the best day of my life!

The Channel Club was the perfect venue for us. We had a wonderful experience from the very first moment that we walked in the doors. Fred was absolutely amazing to work with- extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful- always listening to our questions and concerns and coming back to us with personalized answers and details to match our vision. Our wedding day was exactly what we wanted- thanks in a large part to the all of the help that the Channel Club provided us with from our planning, to some fun ideas for napkins (we went with bright pink and bright green for spring), to setting everything up perfectly to helping us pull off some April Fools Day pranks! The food was absolutely amazing- and our guests are still talking about what their favorite dishes were. I would recommend the Channel Club to any couple without reservations. We had our ceremony and wedding party there- since it was too cold/windy to be outside for the Ceremony (on April 1) we had it upstairs, and the staff set it up so beautifully. We are so happy that we chose the Channel Club as the location for our wedding.

My husband and I got married on Friday, March 31st. We were beyond excited to have our wedding here. They just finished renovations and we were absolutely amazed. The place was beautiful before, but now it is just spectacular. We walked in to the venue and our minds were blown by the food options and the service. There was something special about the venue that made us choose it. Fred is AMAZING. There wasn't a time I called that he didn't pick up the phone. Planning was so easy and I cannot even thank him enough for all of his help the day before/night of. I walked into the venue the night of my wedding and teared up. It was gorgeous and he remembered every detail I asked for. Not only that, my husband and I were so exhausted and hungry after our ceremony and pictures - he made sure we got food and some wine before the reception started in the bridal suite. Every single bite of food was incredible. Our guests still have not stopped thanking us. We want to do it again!! We will always remember the best day of our lives and how happy we were with the channel club!

I could not have picked a more beautiful venue! The space was renovated and WOW did they upgrade wonderfully! We were included every step along the way. Fred and Steve were so helpful and present the whole night! Working with them was very professional and they helped us personalize our wedding day. The prices were perfect for my budget with 150+ guests, and the food was AMAZING! All of my guests commented on how they loved the food and desserts! Absolutely 10/10 would use again and recommend. My wedding day was something that I dreamed my whole life, as many brides might say. My husband and I love Monmouth Beach and we wanted to be married in the town. We found the Channel Club and when we visited it we knew it was the place for our special day. From the very beginning Fred and Steve were absolutely incredible. When you are planning a wedding, everything can tend to get very stressful and there can be a lot on your to do list. Well, Fred was like my best friend for the last two months of my wedding. LOL! He was so helpful and amazing I can't even begin to explain it. Anything that you could possibly think of, or forget to think of, Fred will be there to help you do it! On the day of my wedding he was attentive, wonderful and he felt like a member of my family. I highly highly recommend the Channel Club for your special day! The food was phenomenal and the service was excellent. Thank you Fred and Steve! We will never forget you!

The channel club was the perfect vendor for my wedding on labor day weekend this year. Steve and Fred were so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. My husband and I had a wonderful wedding reception at the Channel Club on October 15th, 2016. Fred and Steve were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the wedding planning process and could not have been nicer. We really felt comfortable coming to them with any question or concern, and they provided us with excellent advice every time! Our guests were in awe of how delicious the food was, and were particularly impressed with the vast array of hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour. The rooms were set up beautifully, and the staff was very receptive and helpful throughout the reception. Moreover, the dock and outdoor scenery is breathtaking, and we have incredible family portraits and sunset photos as a result. Thank you to Fred and Steve for making our wedding day and entire planning experience so positively memorable! I would highly recommend the Channel Club as a wedding venue to future couples.

Both Matt and I knew we wanted an outside wedding venue on the water. We had always talked about just going away to some island with our closet family and friends. My grandparents couldn't fly though, so we immediately ruled that out. We looked at a bunch of different venues in the area, but it wasn't until The Channel Club, that we found everything we wanted. Fred and Steve were so awesome from the start, and never did they change. So personable and friendly, would call just to ask how planning was going during the process. People who see our wedding pictures want to know what island we went to for our wedding. Everything from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception was more than I could have ever hoped for. The food was amazing, and they made sure Matt and I ate. Our guests were offered second portions also, and everything was on point. The liquor was top shelf, and the bartenders were quick and amazing. Everyone from our videographer, photographer, and DJ had all worked with them before, so they all knew each other and worked well together. We still can't stop talking about how smooth and perfect our day went, we wish we could do it again! Thank you guys at Channel Club for the best wedding we could have ever dreamt of!

Fred & Steve were so easy to work with and would go out of their way to accommodate me and my guests in any way necessary. They clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They gave great vendor recommendations when needed, and all of the vendors we worked with raved about the Channel Club when they found out that was our venue. You also can't get a better bang for your buck! The amount and quality of the food made the price well worth it. My guests raved over the selection during cocktail hour and we loved that seconds were served at dinner as well. They also did a great job accommodating allergies, and even provided kosher and vegetarian meals at no extra cost! When dealing with Fred & Steve you felt like you were dealing with family. They were honest and I felt very comfortable asking them about anything! The Channel Club was the #1 venue for my husband and I and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. Our wedding day truly was perfect thanks in large part to Fred & Steve! Everyone needs to come check out this location... You will not be disappointed!!

My experience getting married at the Channel Club this past July was truly amazing and unforgettable. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue, the staff, and the food. Steve and Fred exceeded our expectations in regards to the planning and execution of our wedding. During such a stressful process, as we all know wedding planning can be, these true professionals made everything so easy and enjoyable! I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, patience, positive energy, organization, and attention to detail. They made sure everything about that evening went according to plan and without a hitch. Even when it rained outside and we had to have the ceremony inside, everything was able to transition seamlessly and it was beautiful! The view over the marina is truly breathtaking. I have been to a lot of weddings recently in the tri-state area, and let me tell you – the food doesn’t compare to the Channel Club. Not only was it absolutely delicious and of the best quality, but the selection was enormous. All of our guests still continue to compliment and rave about the wedding, especially the attentive staff and the food! My husband and I could not have asked for a more perfect day, and we are so appreciative to the Channel Club staff for giving us these wonderful memories we will hold onto forever. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue to choose the Channel Club…you will not regret it!

You cant do any better than Steve and Fred at the Channel Club. They helped us every step of the way. Of all the stresses that came up from one nutty problem to another, these two guys where rock solid! We had a lot to contend with the week leading up to our wedding and the day of our wedding -- none of it had to do with them, yet they stepped up to help every time!

My wife is from Sicily - if you know anything about Italians, food is essential for any gathering - ESPECIALLY on the bride's special day --- the food was fabulous!!!

Thanks to Steve, Fred and their team at the Channel Club -- all of you helped make sure our wedding remained a dream instead of a nightmare!

I was determined to get married on the water for the view, and boy, does The Channel Club deliver on the view! Breath-taking with all the windows! Not only that, but the entire management team is an absolute dream to work with. Everything was PERFECT. They were so friendly, and attentive. No matter when I called throughout my year-long planning process, they were so familiar with our file it was as if I spoke to them every day. Now for the food! Best food I have ever had! And there is plenty of it! They were also flexible and accommodating for myself and our guests when it came to food allergies and other dietary restrictions. Best place to get married on the Jersey Shore. Hands Down.

I was instantly sold on the windows and beautiful views. Everything else was even more amazing! All the management is so easy to work with and friendly. Even when I was being an anxious bride I knew they would take care of everything.

The cocktail hour is more than anyone can ask for. I had out of state friends who were convinced that people shouldn't be eating because it was the dinner. The dinner food was also delicious. The waitstaff so nice and accommodating.

The line at the bar was never crazy (and pretty much everyone was getting after it).

I just loved the feeling as the night went on that THIS was MY wedding! I couldn't get over how happy everyone was and what a good time everyone was having. The Channel Club definitely creates a great vibe!

Have you ever seen something for the first time and knew right away it was exactly what you wanted? That's exactly how we felt when we visited The Channel Club.

We first met with Fred and he showed us around the venue and I was instantly sold. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the views are breathtaking and Fred and Steve are two of the nicest guys I have ever worked with.

After our visit to The Channel Club we were back on the phone with them about 2 hours later booking our big day and we weren't disappointed.

The price was exactly what we were looking for, the venue is beautiful, the sunset for the first dance was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff was amazing.

Fred and Steve went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. They seriously took care of everything for us and all we needed to do was show up.

Talking to our friends and family we still hear about the great time they had at the venue and how awesome the food was - there was so much!

Would I recommend The Channel Club to friends and family? Yes, we are hoping someone we know gets married there so we can come back!

Words cannot describe how incredible Steve and his staff were this past weekend for our picture perfect wedding at the Channel Club. From our first meeting back in November, all the way up to the big day August 1st, Steve and Fred were absolutely incredible. They answered every question and concern immediately via email or phone. They were so easy to work with, making any adjustments or changes to the day on the fly was such a seamless process. The view off the dock with the boats, the sunset, beautiful flowers, the setting outside for our ceremony could not have been more breathtaking. Steve was in charge of our wedding, and he could not have been more professional, on top of every little detail, and simply a calming influence on such a busy day. He was always around keeping the day running on time and smoothly. The rest of the staff were outstanding, getting the venue ready for us, keeping the food rolling out at a continuous and rapid pace, and being so nice and professional to our guests. Speaking of the food, it was OUTSTANDING! The amount of compliments we received from our guests about the food was overwhelming. The amount of food and simply the quality was above and beyond. We could not have pictured a better outcome for the best day of our lives. Thanks to Steve, Fred and their staff, we had the time of our lives. To everyone at the Channel Club, especially Steve, we cannot thank you enough!! We love you guys and consider you a life long friends after all the hard work you put in for us!!

The staff at the Channel Club, specifically Fred and Steve, are the most helpful, efficient, on-the-ball people I've ever met. From the first meeting almost a year ago until the day after the wedding, they were attentive, helpful, patient, and eager to please. They were extremely responsive throughout the planning process via email and phone, and were very flexible with our crazy work schedules when it came time to meet in person. Even the days leading up to the wedding when I was nervous about other aspects, I never got worried about the venue and staff--I knew Fred and Steve had it covered. On the day of the wedding, they were there with us girls all day getting ready--they answered questions, made sure all of our additional items were where they needed to be, and were such a calming presence (especially considering they spent close to 8 hours with 10 bridesmaids running around them in hair and make-up!). From the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception, every single detail was taken care of, and my husband and I were able to just sit back, relax, and enjoy our perfect wedding day! I highly recommend the Channel Club--gorgeous setting, insane amounts of delicious food, and the best people to have in your corner on the most important day of your life.

You will NOT find better wedding venue partners than Fred Koechlin and Liz Beekman of The Channel Club. They are a one-wedding-at-a-time shop, with gorgeous full water views from both party rooms (cocktail hour is on lower level; reception on upper). Fred and Liz are NOT the typical, slick sales hustler types usually found at wedding venues--ESPECIALLY here in New Jersey, where most wedding venues just want your money.

Fred and Liz are the real deal, totally salt of the Earth. You get a great vibe from them, and know you can trust them completely. They want to HELP you, not clean out your bank account. Not only were their prices right ($84.00 pp + tax & tips), but they included everything we could have wanted. They let us upgrade to our wines of choice at a very small upcharge, and they upgraded the bridal champagne at NO charge (and kept our glasses filled for the entire five hour reception).

And the food. Oh. my. God. If there's one thing for which The Channel Club is known, it’s not only the quality of the food, but the QUANTITY. The food just kept coming. For our cocktail hour alone, there must have been 25 or 30 items from which to choose, including attended stations, at least six chafer dishes with hot food, an abundant crudité, cheese and fresh fruit display, and passed hors d’oeuvres. Our guests were incredulous that a full, sit-down dinner was still to come!

For $84 a person, The Channel Club also included:

My husband and I could not be more thankful to the wonderful staff at the Channel Club in Monmouth Beach. Throughout the planning process, Fred, Liz, and Steve were an absolute pleasure. They were happy to answer any questions and meet with us as many times as we needed. They made sure that our wedding day would be organized and stress free! Fred, Liz, and their staff were exceptional throughout the entire process. They were available any time we had a question or concern, and worked closely with us on every aspect of the wedding. If for some reason we couldn't reach them, they always got back to us as soon as possible.

During the wedding the staff worked very hard to ensure that we were taken care of, and that our guests were being attended to at all times. We had two opportunities to try the food prior to the wedding (a bridal show, and a private food tasting), and were pleased with everything we tried. The food ended up being better than we expected! Once people began to finish their meals, the wait staff came around to offer a second portion if desired. The second portion did not necessarily have to be the same as the meal you initially ordered, so it allowed our guests to try a little of everything.

The hall itself was beautiful. They did such a good job renovating after Hurricane Sandy, that you would never know there was any damage. To top it all off, we had beautiful weather and were able to take a sunset picture in the marina next to the building. Our wedding day was perfect thanks in part to the efforts of the Channel Club.

It is so hard to put into words how amazing the Channel Club is. Gorgeous venue, delicious food, beautiful view and an incredible staff. Any time we had a question, it was answered immediately and we genuinely felt that our wedding was special to them and not just another event. Our guests are still raving about the food and the atmosphere and everything the Channel Club contributed to making our day as perfect as it was. Fred, Liz and Steve are truly a one of a kind team that you will never find at any other venue. If I could give the Channel Club 10 stars, I would!

The Channel Club is the first venue my husband and I looked at and we knew immediately that we wanted to have our wedding there. Fred and Liz were absolutely amazing. There was always someone there to answer our questions and ease our concerns. On our wedding day, they were both so attentive, even taking the time to make sure that our parents were eating enough. The food was absolutely incredible and our guests raved about it for weeks! Not only was it delicious, but there was so much so you definitely get your money’s worth! We HIGHLY recommend The Channel Club. There is no way you will be disappointed by this beautiful venue and the wonderful staff. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we can’t thank Fred and Liz enough for all that they did.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to the fabulous staff at the Channel Club. Fred and Liz were so helpful throughout the entire planning process and the whole staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. There was a storm rolling in and they continually checked the doppler reports and we were still able to have our ceremony outside on the beautiful dock with the boats in the background. Cocktail hour had plenty of seating and so many food options! And then dinner was absolutely delicious!! We are so happy that we had our wedding here and felt that the whole day was just perfect. We would absolutely recommend The Channel Club to future couples looking for an overall amazing experience.

I can't even find the words to explain how absolutely perfect my wedding was and I owe it all to Liz and Fred at the Channel Club. The food was amazing and the views were perfect! Fred and Liz are amazing, we are so happy with our choice of venue. They were so easy to work with, are very kind and helpful, and really make sure that your day is as perfect as it can be. They both personally work with you on the details so everything looks like you want it to. Being a marketing manager with experience in event planning, the details are hugely important to me - I gave Liz a write-up of how I wanted things organized and she executed it absolutely perfectly!!! The room looked spectacular, the view was superb, and our guests really enjoyed the venue and the food. We highly recommend the venue!

I wish I could find the words to express how happy I was with The Channel Club! We had our wedding there on June 21, 2014 and thanks to The Channel Club, it was the greatest day of our lives. The food was amazing. The water front views are stunning. The servers and bartenders were great and fast. Fred and Liz did such a wonderful job making sure that everything was running smoothly. They were also always quick to answer my emails and all of my questions. I felt like they helped make the day so easy for me because I didn't have to worry about a thing. The Channel club is the entire package when it comes to wedding venues! No other site had a separate ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space with a beautiful view of the marina, all while being the one and sole wedding of the night! The ceremony space was outside next to the building overlooking the water and was surrounded by beautiful potted plants and flowers. The cocktail hour was downstairs where they have a gorgeous grand piano next to the bar. We were able to choose an ice sculpture and surrounded it with amazing hors d'oeuvres, which were also able to choose. After cocktail hour we headed upstairs for the reception. Fred and Liz helped seat our guests, then told the bridal party when to enter. I loved that the Channel Club offered white glove service, rather than a buffet. My guests did not have to choose what they wanted ahead of time and could order seconds of any dish! They also had wine served to the tables so that people were not obligated to get up during dinner. My groom and I both had salmon that was incredible and everyone was raving about the food after the wedding! The staff was exceptional. Fred and Liz were outstanding. They were so accommodating and on the big day he helped everything run smoothly. The bartender was also great! Most of our guests like to have a drink or two (or 5) and the one bartender somehow kept up with us so that there was never a line! We chose a Peach Bellini for our signature drink and it was delicious!! We were lucky to have beautiful weather. The sun set over the marina right behind our head table. It was picturesque. The Channel Club was the perfect venue! We could not have asked for a better night!!

The Channel Club was a fantastic venue for our wedding reception on November 2, 2013. Fred and Liz were so helpful/ flexible and accommadating. The cocktail hour was amazing, our guests thought that it was the actual dinner. Dinner was excellent, our guests are still raving about the food and the 2nd portions. The Channel Club also works with Bovella's Pastry Shoppe in Westfield for your wedding cake, which was beautiful and delicious. The venenation hour and after dinner drinks were also a very nice touch. The sunset on the docks are a must for picture! The Channel Club knows exactly what they are doing and I highly recommend them.

My reception at the channel club was amazing. There were no issues, the food was delicious and there was a ton of food (one of the reasons we choose it), the view is wonderful and the drinks keep coming. I was originally worried that people would have to wait for drinks since we had almost 200 guests but no one ever waiting more than a few minutes. We were lucky to have a 80 degree day in October and almost everyone was outside for cocktail hour. Liz and Fred were great about all my questions and were there to help us with anything we needed. I would recommend the channel club to everyone. My family and friends can't stop talking about what a great wedding it was.

If you are even thinking about booking The Channel Club for your wedding, stop thinking and just do it! You will not have one regret. Everything about this place is amazing- the food, the atmosphere, the staff... It is all perfect, which makes for the perfect wedding.

Not to mention, The Channel Club's backup ceremony setup (which we had to use because of rain) is the prettiest backup plan I've ever seen.

Words cannot expression how thankful we are to The Channel Club for our unforgettable wedding! Fred, Liz, Steve, and the rest of the staff are so wonderful and make you feel right at home. My dad passed away in August 2010 and my favorite memories are with my dad on his boat, fishing, and hanging out at the marina. When I saw the Channel Club and the beautiful setting, I knew this was the perfect place as it was a way to incorporate my dad into the wedding day. My husband fully supported this decision and we are so thrilled we made it. The ceremony was gorgeous overlooking the boats and water. The food was outstanding and so much of it! I also got to surprise my groom with a groomsman cake that he loved! Fred and Liz were so helpful throughout the planning process and I cannot thank them enough. The Channel Club is an absolutely picturesque place to get married! Our ceremony was outside on the dock of a gorgeous yacht club. The sunset over the water was amazing! Fred and Liz were the most wonderful people to have had the opportunity to work with! They truly truly care about their clients and make you feel so special! My wife and I got married on May 25, 2013 at The Channel Club and from the time of viewing the place, to signing the contract, to the actually wedding day Liz and Fred were more amazing and made our day even more special then we could have ever imagined!!! Even w the weather not cooperating and it starting out to be a rainy day we never skipped a beat and the ceremony and reception was stilll soo amazing that we didn't even mind not being outside! It's funny everyone i knew before us to get married always mention the little things that always go wrong and to expect it and not sweat it. I have to say there was nothing aside from my own wife forgetting her ring that went wrong AT ALL!!!!! Thanks again Fred and Liz for all your hard work. We had our wedding at the Channel Club on June 7 and everything was amazing! During the wedding planning stage, Liz and Fred were there to answer all of our questions and make sure that we had the wedding we envisioned (even after Hurricane Sandy)! They were extremely accommodating to requests and responded to emails very quickly. In addition, the views at the venue are spectacular and the food is outstanding. Enough good things can not be said about The Channel Club and there wonderful staff there. Throughout the entire wedding process they made everything so easy. Even when I was stressing during the renovations after Hurricane Sandy, they assured me that they would be on time with all the renovations and I had nothing to worry about, and they were true to their word.
From the beginning, Fred had won us over. We knew that we would be getting married there right after speaking to him. You can tell that all of the staff there are passionate about what they do and truly want you to have the best experience possible. They were always quick to get back to me whenever I had any questions.
Even though it rained on our wedding day and we were not able to get married on the dock, the reception room was set up beautifully for the ceremony and at that point it did not make a difference. The staff is so professional that they handled the situation with so much ease, I did not have to worry about a thing.
The best part though is the food is absolutely fabulous and your guests will definitely not be leaving hungry. So much good, QUALITY food, you definitely will not be disappointed.
I would absolutely recommend The Channel Club if you want a beautiful wedding reception and stress free day! :)

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Channel Club and everything was phenomenal! I am a super detail oriented person and Fred and Liz made sure that everything on our day was picture perfect. I never had to worry about a thing. The club has recently undergone some renovations including new granite bartops in both the cocktail room and ballroom as well as a new dock for outdoor ceremonies which was absolutely gorgeous. The food, service, and staff were excellent - exceeding our expectations in all areas. Guests raved about the food variety, portions, and quaility. We had our wedding here on St. Patrick's Day. Liz and Fred were absolutely a pleasure to work with. From the beginning to the end, they were nothing but helpful, informative and flexible. Every detail was reviewed and planned perfectly. We had a gorgeous outside ceremony on the water. All our vendors were very happy and said they always love working here. The food was delicious and the bar was top shelf. We highly recommend The Channel Club to all bride and grooms! Thank you Channel Club and staff for helping make our day nothing but perfect!

Liz & Fred were amazing to work with from start to finish. Channel Club was the first place we visited and we put down the deposit right away. Everything went so smoothly. The Channel Club is a superb venue! We had our October 15th wedding reception here and it was beyond perfect. Living out of state, Fred & Liz were so accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. Our guests were completely wowed by the venue- the presentation, variety, & quality of food, the bar selection, and our delicious cake which not only looked beautiful but tasted fantastic! In addition, the marina provided lovely photo opportunities and incredible views!

I can't say enough about Fred and Liz. From the first time we stepped into the Channel Club we knew that's where we wanted to get married. They were amazingly friendly, professional, and took care of everything. We dropped of all wedding supplies and they set up the reception beautifully- the centerpieces came out magnificent as well. Overall amazing and everyone had a great time. Food was great, service was great- a day we will remember forever!

Absolutely LOVED this place! The staff could not have been more helpful! The week before the wedding was very stressful and Liz and Fred were amazing at easing my stress!
My guests were very impressed with the food and service and the marina was a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. I would not change a thing!!

We had our reception at the Channel Club and it was amazing, no complaints at all!! Fred and Liz were so wonderful throughout the entire planning process. They helped us organize the wedding so there was no problems the day of. The day of the wedding they were both incredibly attentive and kept everything running smoothly. The food and cocktails are delicious, I would recommend you go to a bridal show there. To top it off the view is beautiful and makes for great wedding pictures!!

I love the Channel Club!!! Fred and Liz made my husband and I feel comfortable from the moment we met them and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was exactly the way we wanted it to be. The end result turned out even better than we imagined and we could not have done it without their help. The food was phenomenal - you get so much delicious food - and the service can't be beat. Liz was there making sure we always had a drink and Fred made sure that everything went smoothly and was well coordinated. I can't say enough fantastic things about this place and loved the experience so much, I hope all my friends get married there so I can go back and visit!!!

We can not say enough about how wonderful the Channel Club is... our guests are still raving about the excellence. The food was fantastic, the cocktail hour with it's ice sculptures, amazing views and impeccible service was unforgettable and I was told the best my guests have ever seen. Dinner was subperb. The coordination of every little detail by Liz and Fred was beyond professional and truly flawless. There are so many details that it would be impossible to mention all, but sufice to say, there was not one thing that did not go off absolutely perfect. I wish I could rate them a million plus instead of a mere 5

I don't know how I would have survived without Liz and Fred. I was a completely clueless, recently engaged girl when we first met and they showed me the way. Even when I had RIDICULOUS questions, they took the time to answer them all and calm my nerves.

The food...oh the food... My husband and I are BIG foodies and this place is undoubtedly the BEST food we've ever had at a wedding- and fortunately, It was OURS! We even had the BEST server there, Michael, take special care of us, making sure we ate and had everything we needed. I had a groom's cake, and Liz and Fred kept it a great secret and helped me figure out how to get it and set it up.

You really don't have to do much work if you book the Channel Club- they're like wedding coordinators and assistant planners and everything rolled into one!

The sunset is beautiful, and one of the best things about the venue is that you have it ALL TO YOURSELF- It's all about YOU and your SPOUSE and you don't have to share the place with anyone else.

Many of our guests told us that the Channel Club did a great job of making everyone feel involved and like they were a part of what was going on. Cocktail hour went smoothly into the reception and the toasts and courses and dancing. They have a perfect system!

We had a LOT of special little things (I'm Lactose Intolerant, we had people with disabilities, A Kosher Table, people with Celiac Disease...it goes on...) and they took the time and effort to make sure everyone was comfortable and VERY well fed. We got married on a Friday and they even made sure the Kosher table had wine and Challah to have their sabbath meal (at no charge!)

And let's not forget our crazy families... Liz and Fred so sweety and patiently accepted unannounced drop-ins from family members who wanted to see the place after we booked it, answered questions we'd already asked and they'd already answered. They are so skilled with dealing with the delicate balance of two families trying to plan one wedding.

I don't know how they do it, I'm just so grateful that I found them and that they made all our wedding dreams come true!

The Channel Club was absolutely phenomenal! They were helpful from the moment we booked them to the day after the wedding. They worked with us to make sure that every detail we wanted was a part of the wedding. Fred and Liz are quite a team! The food: EXCELLENT! View: EXCELLENT. Go there check it out...they do tastings once you book. It comes with so many things that your guests will be well fed, hopefullly not too drunk after 5 hr open bar :) Highly recommend it without reservation for a beautiful day on the riverside. Our wedding was incredible thanks to them!

The Channel Club provides a first-class event for the guests of honor and all celebrating your special day. Fred and his staff attended to every detail and our wedding event was a huge success in no small part to the attention to detail and flexibility of the staff. About 10 minutes before our ceremony was to start, a huge storm rolled in and in the blink of an eye, our entire setup was brought inside without missing a beat. We had a viennese table at the end of the evening which was the hit of the night. From reasonable pricing to the white glove service provided, you can't ask for a more stress-free and gorgeous venue to celebrate your wedding day! And the sunsuet photos on the dock are some of my favorites.....

Growing up near the beach, this was the perfect reception place for our summer wedding! The staff, especially Fred, paid so much attention to every little detail we asked for. From the varied choices at the cocktail hour, to the shamrock-shaped ice sculpture, to the pics on the deck with the "Just Married" buey, to the help with laying out our candy buffet we brought in, we were very pleased with how our perfect, amazing reception turned out! I highly recommend this spot!

I really can not say enough fantastic things! The Channel Club went above and beyond. You receive fantasticfood and service for a great price. I couldn't picture our wedding anymore perfect. From our ceremony on the dock to all the great food and the amazing cake. The whole staff went above and beyond. We also had a huge candy bar that we brought in and that they set up for us. Everything went off perfect and we didn't have to worry about a thing!

Channel Club was an excellent choice for our reception. Our guests loved the food, service and location... not to mention the view. As the bride I loved the attention to detail that the staff gave us, the professionalism and frankly the value. For the location, view, service and the abundance of food our guests were provided the value can not be beat. We were very satisfied with the Channel Club. The Channel Club really went above and beyond all my expectations for my wedding reception. The entire staff was wonderful to work with, especially Fred and Liz. I don't think there was a single request they said no to! The food was abundant, beautiful and delicious and our guests are still commenting on how amazing our wedding reception was. The staff was more than happy to answer any and all questions and concerns I had. Other vendors wanted us to book them based solely on the fact that our reception was going to be at The Channel Club and they knew not only would it be a fantastic affair, but that they as vendors would be taken care of as well. I cannot rave enough about The Channel Club and I look forward to working with them again in the future!

The Channel Club staff is made up of the nicest, most caring professionals that you could ever ask for on your wedding day. The quality of service was beyond outstanding. I would recommend the Channel Club to anyone. They go above and beyond for not only the bride and groom but for the guests. The food outstanding along with the impeccable service. The Channel Club was very responsive to all of my needs before the wedding. They are incredibly professional and really know how to put a wedding together. The atomosphere of having our wedding outside really meant a lot to me and they told me that they would accommodate right to the very last 1/2 hour if there was a chance of rain. They also recommended a couple of our vendors who we were very pleased with. As for the value, the overall experience with the Channel Club was well worth the money. They really do a beautiful job. Even down to the end of the wedding, we had several things that had to be packed up and put in our limo in time for when we departed. Everything was accounted for and packed up with utmost care so our breakable items would not break. We can't say enough nice things about them. They truly are spectacular.

Absolutely loved The Channel Club. Our guests are still raving over the amazing food, especially the cocktail hour. The views are goregous and the staff will never let your glass look empty. Absolutely amazing. Only problem we ran into was something we didn't noticed until afterwards looking at pictures. Check your seating over before the last call as one of our family table swas moved to a spot that was not listed on our floor plan. Other than this issue, we had a blast and our guests and still talking about it to this day.

Both the wedding coordinators were great all throughout the process! They made everything run smoothly and were fabulous with last minute changes and difficulties! I highly recommend them! The food was delicious and highly complimented by the guests! The service was superlative (maybe a bit too good though because they kept removing my plate before I finished eating)!

We got married at the Channel Club in Monmouth Beach, NJ on September 27th, 2009. I couldn't be more pleased with the venue. The food/cake/cocktails were great, the service was very good, the table arrangements came out beautiful (they were centerpieces that we bought ourselves, but the staff was good enough to put them together for us.) The pricing was amazing for all of the things that the staff provides for you. Our coordinator, Liz, was so wonderful. She took care of us through all of the planning and pulled everything together perfectly on our wedding day, along with help from the manager, Fred, and their staff. I would absolutely suggest The Channel Club to anyone.

Positively fantastic. Although we were working with Steve, the entire staff was familiar with our event and so my questions were able to be answered anytime I called, and not only when Steve was working. My affair was a class act worth every cent from start to finish. The food was amazing and my cake was not only beautiful but also delicious (which everyone knows, usually you only get one of the two!). This staff become so involved with your event, that when I went back to the venue 3 months later for a retirement party, they still knew my name and inquired about my husband by his first name. If you are looking for an amazing, elegant and classy night, Channel Club is your place.

Our October Wedding at Channel Club

I had the pleasure of getting married on October 12 at Channel Club. We had an amazing experience working with Gina and Johnny. Gina helped me visualize my wedding and let me spend as much time as I needed getting familiar with the space before the wedding. Everything looked perfect and she made me feel so comfortable.

Johnny was the best wedding coordinator we could ask for. He was personable and always made sure I had a cocktail in my hand or waiting for us at the sweetheart table. He made me feel stress free and made sure our wedding ran on schedule and with ease. When we went the next afternoon to get our things everything was so organized and they even wrapped up the rest of the cake for us!

I am so happy with my wedding experience with Channel Club from the staff, to the food, and the white claws are wedding was perfect. Thank you!

I highly recommend the Channel Club. they took care of everything for my wife and I on our wedding day and kept everything stress free. The food was great and the decor was great for the value. We had a wonderful ceremony and reception at the Channel Club in April 2014. As the weather was a little iffy in the preceding days, the staff were prepared to set up both an indoor and outdoor ceremony. Luckily it was gorgeous out, so we didn't need the indoor secondary setup.

The food was great (and there was a ton of it) and the bartenders kept our guests happy. The space is very light and airy, unlike a lot of the catering halls in NJ that are dark and cavernous inside. There are great sunset photo-ops on the dock. Fred, Liz and Steve worked well with all of our vendors for day-of coordination.

The only room for improvement would be that we wish they could have proactively reached out to us with news and updates regarding the planned renovation. When we called or emailed the Channel Club, they would give us the full details, but it would have been nice if we didn't have to expect the worst whenever we saw something that we weren't anticipating.

Guests raved about our wedding and our parents got calls for a few days after saying how wonderful it was. Hope we get invited to a Channel Club wedding so we can experience it as guests :)

We had our ceremony & reception here, and are so pleased we did! We really loved everything about the look & feel of the place, as well as the execution of everything the day of. The only reason I held back the full five *'s is because: the day of we had 5 people cancel on us last minute. I was under the impression we would get all, or at least some of that money back… or be compensated some other way. Channel Club took off the cost earlier in the week of 2 cancelations, but the morning of when I told our banquet manager, she just basically said “of that’s too bad…” and that was that. I was bummed. And it really is more the fault of my inconsiderate guests than anything else. But like I said, everything else: food, drinks, service, communication, etc. was impeccable! Fred & Liz were our Banquet Managers and they were an absolute pleasue through all the planning, right up to including the day of! We got so many compliments about the Channel Club!
