  Absolutely Magical

  My now husband and I were among the first couples to choose Castle of Oz as our wedding venue, and I am so glad we took the risk. Our wedding was on March 2, 2024, with 40 guests. The pictures do not do this palace justice; the castle is a work of art. The venue requires you to choose from their list of vendors, so here are the vendors we selected for planning and/or for our wedding:
  • Jen: The co-owner of the castle served as our wedding coordinator. Her warmth, flexibility, and responsiveness streamlined the planning process beautifully.
  • Fabian: The day-of coordinator and shuttle service manager, was exceptional in managing vendors and resolving any issues that arose.
  • Chef Diego: Chef Diego and his team prepared mouthwatering meals and was hands down the best food we had during our 2-week trip to Costa Rica.
  • Photographer/Videographer: We chose Mel and Eric (MericMoments), and they are worth every dime. They captured our vision flawlessly, and their passion for their craft shone through in every shot.
  • The Bartenders: The castle staff, including the bartenders, were attentive and kind.
  • David: Our Master of Ceremony, brought a delightful energy to the proceedings, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
  • Flowers: The flowers truly exceeded our expectations. Not only was the vendor accommodating to our budget, but they also meticulously matched our specific color scheme. I was in awe when I first laid eyes on their stunning creations.
  • Live Music: We hired the gorgeous duo SoundTrack. The couple is insanely talented, and my only regret was being too busy during our cocktail hour to listen to their entire set.
  • Fire Dancers: Another gorgeous duo; their performance was beautifully hypnotizing and was a favorite among our guests.
  • DJ Johnny: Unfortunately, our experience with DJ Johnny was marred by communication issues and logistical mishaps. This is the only vendor we had serious issues with on our day.
  Overall, the wedding went exceptionally well. Castle of Oz proved to be a true dream venue, enchanting us with its fairytale charm and leaving an indelible mark on our special day. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend this dream venue to couples in search of an unforgettable wedding experience.

  Bachelor Party

  This castle is unreal! I highly recommend booking this place. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The entire team provided services that went above and beyond and felt us welcomed. Everyone was accommodating and I want to thank Fabian for having a super team, from Yorleni’s cleaning service, our cook Diego, John, the security who work the night shift and especially our favorite driver Charlie! Everyone helped us coordinate anything we needed and we can’t wait to go back again!

  Once in a lifetime experience

  We had our wedding here in July. To say it was spectacular would be an understatement. The vendor and company were amazing to work with and very accommodating. Jen, our personal wedding coordinator was responsive 24/7 any day of the week, with other wedding coordinators on site. They handled everything and made it very easy for us and our guests to navigate our way around. The venue itself was a dream come true! A castle in the middle of a jungle! The castle was very luxurious with a honeymoon suite and beautiful rooms for our guests. Chef Diego created a fabulous wedding feast that exceeded our expectations. We could not have asked for better scenery for photos. The wildlife, monkeys and toucans everywhere, was amazing to witness and the views are unmatched. Everything was very professional, and we highly recommend this venue for a magical experience!

  The event was a private party at The Castle of Oz. The venue could have easily supported any wedding celebration. We were greeted by the friendly transportation services at the airport and comfortably shuttled to The Castle of Oz. This luxury resort is nestled in the famous tropical rain forests of Costa Rica. Within a short drive, we experienced the finest restaurants, beaches, and casinos. The culinary experience at the Castle is second to none. The accommodations are very comfortable, climate controlled and secure. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous including the fascinating wildlife. The staff is professional and responsive. We highly recommend the Castle of Oz without reservation. We look forward to returning to this exceptional place. This is a trip of a lifetime! We should do it every year!
