She was always insanely responsive and willing to change things up as we got closer to the big day. Our cake was gorgeous & delicious. She even let me deliver special cupcake wrappers to her house so our cake would look extra special. :-)

The cake shop staff was very professional and timely. The cake was AMAZING, and I got so many compliments on it at my wedding reception. Definitely would choose the cake shop again!

Very easy to work with and absolutely loved the cake! The price to deliver was rather expensive, but other than that I was very pleased.

I ordered my wedding cake from the Cake Shoppe, and they did a great job. Cake was delicious. My guests enjoyed. Delivered ontime, and exactly what I asked. When I ordered, they provided tons of different choices and gave me samples of all different kinds. Highly recommend.

Everyone at my wedding would not shut about how much they loved the cake. It was delicious. They made everything like I asked them to!

The cake tasted much better in the taste test before purchase, than it did on the wedding day. I gave many details of how I wanted the cake to be decorated. The cake looked fine, but it did not match what I thought I had communicated. (They took short notes on what I described).

Bottom line: We actually do recommend because the cake tasted great and it was delivered on time.

The good: We ordered sheet cakes and a small round cake.

The reason I gave low stars:
Communication was very bad. Every time I called, they couldn't find my order (even though I paid a deposit!) and I was SO stressed that it wouldn't work out, that they wouldn't show up, etc. No one ever called me to confirm my order or delivery time. When I called the week before to make sure it was all set, they said they would have the wedding cake person call me back but I never got that call. I had to follow up for a fourth time.

It shouldn't be on the customer to constantly follow up to make sure things are in order for someone else's business. A digital calendar of cake appointments and alerts would solve the problem.

The cake tasted great! We actually did petite fours instead of sheet cake, and they looked gorgeous. The piping on every other layer wasn't exactly what I wanted, and my cake topper wasn't even on the cake when we got to the reception. They had pictures of everything I wanted. The staff wasn't very pleasant... at all. I was stressed out with the whole wedding process, and they made it ten times worse! Everytime I went to the store about my cake, details, and to pay all the staff was clueless as to what was going on. Apparently only one person can handle wedding cakes. On the other hand, they can do any cake you can dream of. If you use them, be patient, and be sure to call everytime before you go. I'll definitely use them again for pastries and birthday cakes... everything is yummy!
