Our wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL and, more importantly, DELICIOUS! The Cake Lady was great- I had a general idea of what I wanted but I let her run free with the design based on a few elements, and she nailed it! Originally, we were planning on a run of the mill grocery store wedding cake, since it wasn't a big priority. However, once we tasted the Pink Champagne, we knew we couldn't settle for anything less. THANK YOU, CAKE LADY SIOUX FALLS! You helped make our day perfect!

I feel like the luckiest bride to have such an amazing cake personally designed for our wedding. The consultation was wonderful. I couldn't believe the options that I was given for both cake flavors, fillings, and filling flavors. The price was just right. Thank you for making this such a special time for us! I am confident knowing that I have selected the best in the area!

These cakes are phenomenal! We had so many choices and had 3 cakes; one for the bride and groom and two sheet cakes that blew us away when we saw them! And besides being beautiful to gaze upon they were also delicious!! And they were affordable as well!

The Cake Lady was amazing to work with! She met with us later in the day which made it very nice and flexible with our crazy schedules! TONS of flavors to choose from! We did cupcakes and a 3 tier cake, absolutely beautiful and so fresh! Received many compliments! Definitely a great choice!

When we were deciding on dessert for our wedding day, we wanted something other than cake. We found an idea from Pinterest of having mini pies, but was having trouble finding somewhere that sold those. And then we found The Cake Lady, and after visiting her bakery and talking with her, we knew we HAD to have her make our desserts. We had a three-tiered cake for our cake - only the top tier was real. But we brought in ideas of how we wanted it decorated and she did exactly that! She is super talented at what she does. If you can dream it, she can do it! She offers a wide variety of dessert options and so many different flavors and fillings and toppings. For our guests, we served individual 3" pies in three different flavors as well as cheesecake bites in three different flavors. They were both a hit! SO DELICIOUS! If you are looking for a unique twist to the traditional cake, you need to check out The Cake Lady! She offers so many different options to make your day sweet :)

I love Anna with The Cake Lady!! She always knows exactly what look I'm aiming for and is ready to make a sketch just to make sure we are both on the same page. Anna is eager to give suggestions if you are struggling with what selections you want to have for desserts. For our wedding, we had about 5 different types and flavors of our desserts and they were a HUGE hit! The truffles, cheesecake, dessert shooters, and wedding cake were all gone by the end of the night and we had about 900 servings total (including the 3-tiered wedding cake). Everything was delicious and I received a lot of compliments on how beautiful everything was set out and how accessible it all was. Thank you again Anna + your team at The Cake Lady, and i will continue to recommend you to all my friends looking for any time of occasion.

Our cake was absolutely PERFECT! We had met with Anna 2 times prior to our wedding date, once for a tasting, and the other to finalize details. Anna sketched exactly what I had pictured our cake to look like, and she even added a few extra details that really made the design "pop". All the flavors were exactly how we had planned and the guests raved at how amazing it was! She was so reasonable and flexible and made our cake out to be exactly like we had hoped for. Simply AMAZING :)

Thank you so very much for such a wonderful wedding cake. You truly listened to our wishes and the cake turned out better than we could have ever dreamed. We didn't even get to eat the cake ourselves the night of the wedding because our guests devoured it so quickly; we even had about 25 spare slices. I would say that was a success! The design of the cake looked so beautiful, I almost couldn't cut into it at first. We cannot thank you enough for providing us with our dream wedding cake. We will highly recommend you to everyone we know!

Anna, the owner of The Cake Ladyis absolutely amazing. She is probably the nicest person I have met! She is so easy to work with and works really hard to create the cake of your dreams. She not only does wedding cakes but basically any idea you can come up with, she will do. My husband was impressed with her life size Stanley cup cake! She made everything go so smoothly the day of the wedding. Every time we need a cake, we will be going to her. Also, her pricing is very reasonable!

Anna was really easy to work with. We ordered a fake cake and sheet cakes to save money. The fake cake was beautiful and looked just like what she had sketched. The sheet cakes were delicious. We had hardly any left at the end of the night.

Anna is awesome and very easy to work with. I had meetings set up with three cake vendors and canceled the others after meeting with her. She made an incredible cake and dessert spread for us. Due to a misunderstanding with the caterer (not Anna's fault at all!), our wedding cake was not served, so we had the advantage of an entire wedding cake left over! I felt a little bad for our guests but happy for us.

I surprised my husband with a groom's cake. He is a professional DJ and I gave them a picture of what his groom's gift was and they created a work of art, Pioneer CDJ's 850 and CDM 850 Limited White Edition. This was one of the most memorable events of the evening!! Everyone is still talking as that was the best groom's cake they have EVER seen!! The cake was delicious!! The picture was posted on Facebook and has had hundreds of Like's and Comments and shared on so many sites already and hasn't even been a week yet!!! BEST EVER!!! Thank you so much Anna!!!

Oh My Goodness! The Cake Lady's cakes are the BEST, BEST, BEST! From the moment we sat down & had our first taste test, we knew we had made the right decision chosing The Cake Lady's! We loved the way they understood what we wanted out of our cake & we LOVED the surprise groom's cake! My husband almost thought they had gotten his actual Boston Red Sox baseball cap. The Cake Lady was wonderful to work with from start to finish! She was very flexible, helpful, and professional. The cake she designed and made for my husband and I was a red fondant cake with frosting in the pattern of a doily draped over the two layers and red roses cascading down the front. It was absolutely gorgeous. Apparently, there was even some debate amongst my relatives whether it was real or not. The champagne cake itself was very moist and the filling complimented it nicely. It was difficult to ensure that my husband did not eat everything on our sample tray at the consultation session because it was so delicious! We are also considering having a slice of our cake at 6 months rather than waiting the full year because we are not sure we can wait that long...

Absolutely wonderful! I came in with an idea for a tiki-themed cake, and not only did she make a lovely, just-what-I-was-picturing-in-my-head cake, but carved a tiki bride and groom out of chocolate!!!

I went in with a picture of a "truffle" cake and wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but was prepared for anything! (Sometimes things can never look like " the picture") BUT when I saw my cake on my wedding day it was better than any picture I gave them. There were so many little details they had added that made it 10 TIMES better than the picture I gave them. I love the cake and even the non cake eaters loved it because they could eat the truffle balls instead :) I was SO impressed on the amount of work and creativity they put into the design! Very well done.

When I first went to the Cake Lady's for our cake and cupcakes I didn't know what to think. When we sat down with Nana and got a true cake consultation I knew that we wouldn't be going anywhere else to look for our cake. We got to taste the cake and the fillings as well as the frostings. You definetly get your bang for your buck with the Cake Lady's and they will not let you down. I will go back to them in a heart beat for any of my cake or cupcake needs.

The cake was delicious! So many of our guests came up to us and told us it was the best wedding cake they had ever had! Anna had a ton of ideas and was very receptive to our feedback and pictures. Very willing to incorporate our ideas as well. Bonus: the cake was beautiful!

Delicious Wedding Pies

We used the Cake Lady for the desserts at our wedding reception. Since my husband isn't a big cake guy, we went with a variety of pies instead. They were all so delicious (peach, apple, apple crumble, strawberry rhubarb, pecan)! Our guests loved them too - we only had a few slices to take home at the end of the night.

These gals were amazing! I did a tasting with them after trying out 3 other places and the Cake Ladys were so much more flexabile and understanding, plus their rates were about the same as everywhere else. I had brought in a couple pictures of something I had in mind and within 5 minutes of talking the gal Drew a sketch of EXACTLY what I wanted! The only real complaint I had with them was that while doing the tasting the lady told me that I didn't need to take any notes because she was writing everything down. Well I guess I should have written it all down anyways because she didn't write down our taste preferences, just the design info. So when I went to the final meeting I only had a vague idea of the flavoring that we had wanted because they do the final meeting about 2 weeks before the wedding (thus it had been months since I had done the tasting). But other than that they were on time, prepared, they even let us change the number of cupcakes a week before the wedding (we did a cake and cupcakes) even though we had already paid and they gave us a full refund for the ones we didn't need. They were really helpful and nice. I would highly recommend them!

Everybody loved the cake and cupcakes! We had multiple different flavor options and each one was delicious. She worked with me and even piped a lace pattern on my cake that matched the pattern on my wedding dress. From our first meeting she made us feel special by listening to our ideas and providing us options that fit within our budget. She is so unbelievably friendly and very accommodating to hectic work schedules. I loved working with her.
The wedding cake wasn't what we were expecting and the cupcakes were barely filled.
The flavors were still good overall.

Great Cake, Ok communication.

Yummy yummy yummy cake! We had a 4 tier cake, and it was beautiful! The communication was tough. It was hard to contact her, but in the end everything worked out.

My wedding cake was probably one of the things I was looking forward to the most for my wedding, which is probably why I was crushed on my wedding day when it fell far short of my expectations. I had two main problems.

First, the cake was the wrong color. I had asked for the cake to be in my wedding colors - champagne and royal blue. The cake ended up being white (instead of champagne) with blue snowflakes (which I had asked for, and were very pretty).

Second, the cake had a raspberry filling between layers and when it was cut up and served to guests this filling was frozen solid, making the cake pretty inedible. It may have been a cold winter day outside, but that cake had been sitting in a hot ballroom for at least 3-4 hours before it was cut, so I don't think it was my venue's fault.

Overall, it was a pretty big disappointment and a waste of money.
