What can I say! Dana is one of a kind. Dana did my bridesmaids’ and my hair and we all looked incredible. I have known Dana for two years now because she regularly cuts and highlights my hair. I worked with Nicole for our wedding and she was the best. She went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Originally we had booked her just for hair, but due to an unforeseen circumstance, she ended up doing my (the bride's) makeup as well and it was perfect. People were complementing me all night and my hair and makeup lasted 100% throughout the entire evening - no touch ups needed. I would recommend Nicole and The Brushing Bride without hesitation.

Cannot say enough kind things about Dana!
Dana is awesome and made my hair look absolutely stunning the day of my wedding. It truly lasted the entire night despite some crazy winds! There was a huge traffic incident the morning of (we're talking a full on hostage situation closing the bay bridge) that Dana got stuck in. There was no way out or around the traffic until the situation was resolved, and Dana kept in touch with me, the makeup artist, and my coordinator the entire time to keep us updated on her arrival. Even though we started a few hours behind schedule, we actually were still able to begin the rest of the day on schedule and no one felt like their hair was rushed. She made time for everyone if they wanted touch ups and didn't let anyone out of the seat until they were happy. Dana is also a super sweet person to be around and incredibly easy to talk to. Dana was my hair stylist for the wedding and she was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding. I have crazy stubborn curls and she made my hair look stunning. We were referred to Dana by our makeup artist, Rachael from Fleurt Beauty. Dana and her assistant, Jacob, did amazing work and, more importantly, were incredibly fun to hang out with during the morning of our wedding day! Even though we got off to a late start because our venue wasn’t open on time, Dana worked hard to keep the timeline on track while still managing to devote individualized attention to me, my 6 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers. She was an expert at managing all different hair types, from fine and long to short bobs to tight curls. Everyone’s hair looked stunning, and mine was a work of art. I put my ‘do through the ringer and danced my heart out, but it still stayed in place and looked great throughout the night!

I absolutely loved meeting Dana and Nicole of the Brushing Bride for my hair and make up trial. They made me feel so comfortable, not only are they both completely talented, but they are amazing people as well. Dana knocked my messy up do with a twist braid OUT OF THE PARK. You guys, my hair has never looked so good. I was blown away. Nicole made up my girls and I so we we're glammed to the nines! Airbrushing and fake individual lashes for an overall flawless and comfortable look that lasted the whole night. I woke up still looking like a supermodel! The bridesmaids and moms are still talking about Dana and Nicole to this day. Everyone loved them! Hair Miracle Worker
Dana was an absolute godsend! I have very straight hair that doesn't really hold a curl that well and Dana truly worked a miracle giving me the wedding look I wanted - my hair half-down and curled. She was smart to suggest hair-extensions and the finished product lasted the whole night (and in survived the rain!). From the trial, to the day of the wedding, Dana was just a joy to be around and instantly made me relaxed and feel comfortable (in what is a fairly stressful process). The day of - she traveled to be onsite to do my hair, as well as all of our bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. She not only kept us cracking up all morning - but was a complete professional who ensured that everyone was done on time and that their hair would hold throughout the night. I cannot recommend the Brushing Bride highly enough! Nicole nailed my wedding day look!
I met Nicole in her studio for a trial one evening about a month before the wedding. She was extremely accommodating and flexible with scheduling around my work hours. I told her I was either going to do a sleeker-looking updo or cut my hair and wear it down. Given the drastic dichotomy of options, Nicole helped me work through what would work and ultimately what would be best... an updo! By the time wedding day came, I had decided on yet another direction... a sweeping, full, romantic updo. With just a couple looks at my Pinterest influences, she was totally able to make my dreams come to fruition. More on that later!
Like most ladies, I struggle with self esteem sometimes so makeup was really important to me. I wanted to have no doubts about feeling and looking beautiful on my special day. I wanted a super glam look with lashes for daaaaaayyyys. And let me tell you, at the trial and again on wedding day, Nicole gave me the look of my dreams!
I added on my maid of honor and mom to my wedding day glam sesh as a gift to them since they really aren’t into hair and makeup and were somewhat stressed about what to do. Nicole and her assistant were able to achieve their perfect looks as well- much more natural and beautiful flowing locks!
Every bride’s worst nightmare is getting sick on their wedding day and that’s exactly what happened to me! When Nicole arrived at 9am wedding day, I had already been up for 8 hours puking and pooping my brains out! Nicole completely rearranged the schedule so that I could take a nap and paused the process frequently so that I could take potty breaks, stay hydrated, and try to keep it together.
Despite feeling ill, I was super confident about the way I looked all day. Nicole made me feel pretty! She made me feel my best despite not being at my best and that is the greatest gift. Thank you Nicole and Brushing Bride!

Dana was fabulous! She completely got my vision and when I changed my mind after my trial, she tweaked a few things on the big day and my hair was perfect! It stayed up all night, despite the height and lots of bobby pins! I let my bridesmaids select their own styles and I loved the way they each got to express their own personality and style while keeping it in line with my vintage-themed wedding. I plan to continue with Dana as my regular stylist at her new salon! Wonderful experience!

I loved working with Dana and Nicole for our recent wedding. They handled doing the hair and makeup of 7 women like a breeze. Dana worked with me to find a hair style I loved at my trial and it looked even better the second time we did it on my wedding day. Nicole asked me a ton of questions about my makeup preferences and used my feedback to craft such an amazing look. I wish I could look that good every day. They were also just super fun to chat with and have around as my girls and I were getting ready. Would definitely recommend!

Dana and Nicole were excellent. I had no real idea of what I wanted my look to be. They took the little bit of info I gave them about myself and they me look amazing on my wedding day. I was also happy that my hair and makeup lasted all night! Not to mention they are super personable and made everyone feel at ease.

Nicole was absolutely outstanding.
We are so happy we went with Nicole for our wedding day. Nicole did the hair and make-up for myself and hair for my mom, Nana, mother in law, and our friend who was officiating. I'm the kind of person who doesn't really wear a lot of make up. One of my biggest fears was feeling like I wasn't going to look like myself or look natural. I told Nicole about this and showed her some pictures of what I was thinking and her work exceeded anything I thought was possible. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. The hair she did was perfect, even better than the picture I had showed her of what I was thinking and it held the entire night, I didn't lose a single bobby pin. The make up was everything I had wanted. It was natural, yet elegant and classy, the coloring was spot on. I have fair skin and freckles and Nicole used the airbrush very lightly for me and it highlighted everything while still being able to see my freckles. Nicole took the time to listen to what I wanted and answer any questions I had. It was supposed to rain on my wedding day which also made me nervous about the make up but Nicole responded back to my emails right away and put me at ease. One of the best things that we loved was how easy it was to talk to Nicole. I was completely stressed and nervous the day of the wedding and she was able to carry on conversation and joke with me and that helped me so much. We thought of things that would make me laugh during the day and ways to figure out how to prevent me from crying and it ended with everyone in the room laughing and joking and all the stress and nervousness completely leaving me. Nicole helping me through that tension set the tone for the rest of the day and helped me be stress free and truly enjoy every moment of the day. Nicole made my day perfect and I cannot recommend her enough.

I have to say that I am beyond thrilled with the work the The Brushing Bride provided for me and my wedding party. We had a very small window of time to get everyone's hair and make up done and they did it in plenty of time. My hair and make-up were flawless and it stayed put all day and night. I absolutely loved my hair for the trial and my wedding day! My bridesmaids were in love with their hair as well. Nicole and Dana from The Brushing Bride are absolutely the best! From our initial contact, they were nothing but communicative, professional and helpful. They worked with me to set up a hair and makeup trial several months before the wedding, which made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident going into the actual wedding day.
On the day of they were able to give all of my bridemaids, my mom and myself beautiful hair and makeup that was just what I'd envisioned for the big day. It is clear that they are incredibly professional and skilled at what they do, and they're incredibly friendly as well. I think they made everyone feel comfortable while they were doing their hair or makeup and that is important on a day when people may be a little nervous!
As for my bridal hair and makeup, I couldn't have been more thrilled. My hair was even better than I'd ever imagined and Dana was able to make some tweaks from the trial that really amplified the look! Nicole's makeup artistry is also so impressive and the airbrush definitely lasted all day. I was thrilled with how I looked and how my hair and makeup looked in pictures. I would highly recommend The Brushing Bride for your special day!

Dana and Nicole were the best! Not only were they incredibly talented, they were fun, sweet and fit right in with me and my maids! Dana was very responsive, made transactions super easy with Venmo and was very helpful during the trial, attempting to match just what I had in mind - and she certainly did! Dana and Nicole showed up early on my wedding day with every hair tool in the land. They beautified 6 maids and me in plenty of time. They made my wedding 'do so pretty, adding in the pins I bought as well for finishing touches. Everyone's hair stayed perfectly all night through tons of heat, humidity and dancing. Each maid asked for a different style and they easily made each one of them happy and gorgeous. I also have very long, thick hair and it didn't move an inch all night, I was very pleased. Highly recommend their services!

I cannot day enough good things about Dana from the brushing bride. She was AMAZING! She is like a hair genius. All of the girls in our group had different types of hair, and Dana was able to style all of them so quickly and so, so beautifully. One of my bridesmaids said she liked her hair better for my wedding better than her own! Dana was easy to work with, flexible, patient, but most of all she has the best personality with such amazing talent. I received so many compliments on all of our hair. We are so humbled she played such a big part of our day! We love you!!!

Dana completed multiple trials, as well as, researched different techniques to make sure my hair lasted all night. Nicole and Dana did a great job on me and my 7 bridesmaids. We all got hair and makeup done and everything looked great! Dana made sure that I was picking a hairstyle that worked with my hair type. She also worked with my super curly haired bridesmaid beforehand to help pick a style and how to prep her hair for that style. We had last minute changes to my hair and it still turned out great. Nicole really customized everyone's makeup to accentuate their features. None of us are super knowledgeable on makeup, and she was able to guide us into what looked best given our features. Both of them had me and my bridesmaids finished on time with room for touch up and tweaks. They had great time management and were responsive to all of my texts/emails.

One of my bridesmaids had alopecia and Nicole offered to text with her in advance to figure out a hairstyle that would work with her hair prior to the wedding date. I was so touched by her attention to my whole wedding party and family members who got their hair done for my wedding. Nicole and her assistant expertly styled so many different hair types the day of my wedding and took the time to make sure everyone was happy with their hair. I absolutely loved my updo and got compliments all night! She helped my wedding day go so smoothly and I highly recommend her!

I'm an event planner and have used them for other brides before and knew when it was time for my wedding, there was only 1 group that was for me - The Brushing Bride. From day 1, they are so responsive with email, phone calls, etc. Any question you have, they'll have it answered within hours! I only came with 1 picture to my trial and basically told them I don't know what I want. Without barely any direction, they knew my style and I didn't change a thing from my trial! It was perfect. Come the actual wedding day, they were so great at following up with me weeks and days beforehand to make sure we're all squared away on timeline and order of hair/makeup for the day. They arrived early and had everything set up on time. The day went smoothly. We were even ahead of schedule! Our hair and makeup were PERFECT throughout the entire duration of the long wedding day! Not one piece of hair fell out and my makeup still looked brand new at the end of the night! Look no further, these girls are for you! They're everything you'd want and more!

They were extremely responsive via email, and very flexible with scheduling trials and my indecisiveness about what I wanted for my hairstyle! Dana invited me for a second trial to try out more styles. They scheduled the whole morning of the wedding perfectly - we were ready with plenty of time for photos. And they were great to hang out with that morning!

It was an absolute joy to work with Dana and Nicole. In addition to being extremely talented, they are fun, wonderful people who make you feel right at home! My hair and make up stood up beautifully to wind, rain, and humidity, not to mention hours of dancing! By the end of the evening, everything still looked great. My Mom typically doesn't wear much make up and Nicole cultivated a subtle but stunning look. My mother-in-law has very curly hair that she typically doesn't style and Dana executed a half up, half down 'do everyone loved! I would recommend The Brushing Bride in a heartbeat and hope to have another reason to utilize them again!

Dana was absolutely amazing to work with. From the trail to the day of she was extremely quick to respond if I had a question and she was so helpful when it came to my really strict timeline. These girls were absolutely amazing!!!! They worked with me on my theme of beauty and the beast meets batman and were so super flexible and responsive!! Even when I had a medical emergency they were so supportive and willing to help in any way. They made me feel so beautiful the day of and had me and my girls laughing and having fun the whole day. Dana is amazing! She was recommended to me through my wedding planner. Our first meeting was when she came to my apartment to give me some beautiful curls for my engagement pictures. She was so much fun to work with, very professional, and very good at what she does, I just knew I had to use her and The Brushing Bride for my wedding this past October.
She gave me the hairstyle I had always dreamed of for my wedding day. It was everything I could have asked for. My 7 bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law also had their hair done. Some of the girls came with pictures and Dana was able to give them the exact look they had in mind, while other girls looked to Dana for suggestions and could not have been happier with the results. She was even able to finish ahead of schedule and by the end of the night, the up-do's still looked wonderful!
I cannot say enough great things about Dana and The Brushing Bride! They were very flexible, accommodating, and a lot of fun, which was a great energy to have on a usually stressful day. I would highly recommend The Brushing Bride to all future brides!

The Brushing Bride is an AMAZING team, I would highly recommend them! From the trial to the day of the wedding, Dana and Nicole were very responsive, professional and a joy to work with. They did a phenomenal job at my trial and on my wedding day. On the day of my wedding, they showed up early (6:30am, with 10 women to have done by 11:30am) and were ahead of schedule which ensured I wasn’t stressed. I just received a few of my professional pictures and am even more amazed at how my hair and make-up looked.
My wedding day hair and makeup was flawless, and exactly what I had envisioned. Dana and Nicole made me look as fabulous as I felt on my wedding day! :)

Dana is amazing!!!! I just had my wedding this past weekend and I just loved having Dana be part of my perfect day. She styled 4 maids, MOB and myself and she was so attentive to everyone's wants and our hair looked amazing and lasted all night. I had one initial trial at Dana's house, which I did love, but once I tried my dress on I knew I needed another look. She was so understanding and accommodating. I ended up going to her shop for some touch up highlights and hair trial 2 and it was perfect. Not only did I LOVE the decided on look but we just had the best time talking and laughing. Dana is someone who when I met she made me feel like I have known her for years. So personable and my hair looked beyond amazing on my wedding day! So amazing in fact that when I of course went to bed with the it all in, I woke up and it still looked so fab. Dana is the best!!!! Highly recommended and my girls would say the same.

I LOVED everything about the Brushing Bride. I was so glad I booked a mobile service for my wedding day; it was so convenient and relaxing to have hair and makeup come to us; all of us girls were able to take our time and enjoy the day until it was time to get dressed and go! My wedding was in Annapolis and during the summer it can get pretty busy downtown-Nicole and Dana were ready to go even earlier than we had anticipated.
Nicole N did my makeup and even after dancing all night in humid June weather, the makeup still looked flawless at the after party. We made sure to go over everything at the trial which really made the wedding day a breeze; Nicole made sure that all of the colors/blends for lips and eyes were exactly what we had picked out during the trial. Most of my bridesmaids ended up getting the air brush makeup which made their skin look so great in the pictures; but the options are there for each person to pick what works best for them.
Dana did the hair for all of my bridesmaids and not only did each curl stay put all night but I must say everyone looked beautiful. She has a special way of taking each hair type and length, and making it look the best for each girl and their style, and even dress shape (each of my girls had different dresses). The laughs were continuous and the service impeccable. I would absolutely recommend the Brushing Bride to anyone who is getting married.

My wedding was on 9/10/16 and Dana did an amazing job with everyone's hair. She was very patient with me at my trial and helped me find the perfect look. I had 7 bridesmaids and they all looked amazing. Not one bridesmaid was upset with her hair and no one had to change hair afterwards. We started at 10 and everyone's hair still looked great by the end of the reception. She is professional, arrived on time and answers emails promptly. I have known Dana from Brushing Bride for years and have now had her do my hair for three weddings, one of which was my own. She is simply the best! I had such a wonderful experience working with Nicole. She did a beautiful job with myself, my mom, and my mom's friends for my brother's wedding this weekend. She was so sweet, professional, and efficient. She just rolled with it when we had a little bit of a schedule change up. My updo was gorgeous and my mom loved her blow out. So many people, even family from the other side that I hadn't met yet, came up to us to specifically complement our hair and we all still looked great after a night of heavy dancing. I just had my hair and makeup done by Nicole Nadeau of The Brushing Bride. I could not have been happier with everything from the trial to the day of. Nicole and I first met to do a hair and makeup trial. She took her time, listened, and took pictures and notes. She was great when it came to hearing feedback from not only me but from my mother and fiance as well!
The day of, Nicole came on site to do my hair and make up. She arrived early (very much appreciated) and kept on schedule (very much appreciated by my photographer!). She was extremely patient with my mother, which is a lot to ask for!
Overall, I could not be happier. She was fantastic, did a great job, and was a pleasure to get to spend time with.

I can't say enough good things about Dana and Nicole and the Brushing Bride team! They are incredibly responsive, accommodating, and flexible. I wavered quite a bit on the type of hairstyle I wanted for the big day and Dana was sweet enough to grant me a second trial appointment so that I could be absolutely sure. Nicole understood exactly the natural look I was going for with my makeup and they both made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. They had all of our hair and makeup done ahead of schedule so that there was plenty of time for touch-ups and a glass of champagne! On top of it all, they are FUN to hang out with. Rather than feeling nervous on the big day, we had a dance party and chatted about everything but the wedding. It made all the jitters go away. I would recommend the Brushing Bride to anyone looking for a reliable and fun hair and makeup team!!

There aren't enough nice things to say about Dana! When I met her for the first time, I felt like I have already known her for years. Once I had my trial with her, I had to go back. Needless to say, from that point forward I have went to her for every hair cut. All my bridesmaids loved her! Not only is she the sweetest, but her work is amazing! I would recommend anyone to Dana. I worked with Dana through Happily Ever After LLC. and she was just 110% amazing from day 1! I met her at a trial and I knew she and Nicole were definitely the one's I wanted to work with. Dana answered my many questions and even met meat the Sally Beauty Supply nearest to my office to help pick out hair extensions! She even did a trial with both my mom and my sister!
The day of my wedding went so smoothly thanks to Dana (and Nicole)! All of my ladies were so happy with their hair and they looked so fabulous. Dana did an amazing job and had plenty of time to do touch ups.
