Loved my dress!

They made finding my perfect dress easy and fun! The alteration process was easy, and they were happy to make any and all adjustments I wanted/needed with no issues! I also got my belt and veil through them. I had an amazing experience there and would recommend them to anyone! I plan to preserve my dress through them as well, since they did such an amazing job!

Bridal Event was the first place I tried to find a dress at because I had friends who had great experiences with them. We worked with Kayla and she was the sweetest girl. I didn’t know what I was looking for so we pulled all kinds of dresses. She wasn’t pushy and she didn’t try telling me what kind of dress I should be looking for. I looked around a few different places and didn’t find anything so I went back and the second time I found my dress. I came back a few times before I purchased it and she was there every time to help me! The day I picked up my dress everyone so excited and helpful! I had the best experience with them!

Lisa was a dream to work with! She helped me find many dresses I loved and within my budget and made me feel beautiful and special throughout the entire process. I'm thrilled to say I 'said yes' and cannot wait for my big day! I'll be returning to shop for groomsmen attire soon!

I got nothing but compliments on my dress and continue to do so. The staff at The Bridal Event are so nice and helpful and will spend as much time as you need hunting for "the one".

I bought my dress here and now will be getting alterations there. I can not wait to see how it looks once it is done with alterations. :) The staff know what they are doing and answer any questions you may have.

The staff at The Bridal Event was so helpful. I was lucky enough to have the same person assist me through the entire 9-month process! The cost of alterations was also extremely reasonable, which helped eliminate the stress of having to find elsewhere for cheaper. Highly recommend!

I got both my bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses here. And the service both times was fantastic!!! Everyone is so friendly and very helpful with finding what fit me as a bridal gown and what looked best for all my girls.

I'm not a 'girly girl' by any stretch of the imagination, so I was a little worried about dress shopping. My best friend took me to the Bridal Event because it is where her sister bought her dress, and they had a great experience. The Bridal Event, by far, had the best customer service and quality that I found anywhere. Having been with my sister to chain bridal stores and a few other places for her wedding, I really wasn't expecting much; but the Bridal Event blew me away. Every time I turned around they were going out of their way to help me (and I didn't even ask them too). Just as one example, I was living in the UK at the time of my wedding, so my plan was to do one fitting a couple of months before the wedding and then hope for the best; but they offered to do the alterations overnight so I could try the dress on again before going back to the UK after Christmas, I just couldn't believe it. It is absolutely worth the trip (no matter how far) to check out the Bridal Event. Their selection and prices are fantastic as well, definitely the whole package when it comes to Bridal gowns.

Everyone that helped me here was superb. The dress I ended up getting was actually picked out by a staff member that told me, "I think this is exactly what you are describing." She was so right and after trying on a bazillion more dresses...I went back to Bridal Event to get the dress she picked out.

They were extremely flexible with all sizing, questions and anything else I needed. This was important because I live about 100 miles away and had to make a 1.5 hour trip every time.

Great place with excellent input.

I had such a rough day after wedding dress shopping all day and was ready to give up. Once I walked into The Bridal Event and met my consultant, my mood instantly changed. She understood how frustrated I was and helped me find the perfect dress! Alterations also went smoothly. I would recommend this store to any future bride.

I would highly recommend getting your dress from the Bridal Event. The staff were very professional and friendly and whenever I would call with questions, I got friendly responses and advice. The alterations staff did an amazing job on my dress alterations and the costs of the all the wedding dresses are very reasonable!

I shopped at so many salons and the service here was by far the best. I found my dress by trying on a sample at another store, but I still went to the Bridal Event to order. My consultant, Bailey, was so helpful and knew me by name pretty quickly. Everyone was so friendly and even though a lot of services are walk-in, I never had to wait long. Their prices were the lowest I found, and the alteration costs were reasonable as well. I have no complaints and I would definitely recommend them.

Great people to work with, beautiful gowns! Timeliness for alterations was awesome - my maid of honor was from Germany and flew in friday the week before my wedding, and the ladies at Bridal Event got her dress altered in time for the wedding. There was also a problem with the hem length the friday before, and they fixed it right away, while we waited!

Great Shop! Loved the consultant I worked with when looking for my dress! I Went in for my first fitting and the dress was still too big. The woman who was doing the alterations that day took my dress and had it completed that afternoon for a second fitting! Very accomodating since I didn't live in town.

The Bridal Event did a great job. I found a reasonably priced dress. They did a great job with the alterations and had everything done when they said they would. I inquired about the dress coming in a garment bag (I didn't want my future husband to see it), they said it did. What I didn't realize, was that it was just an extra long garbage bag. Had I realized that in advance, I would have made other (better) arrangements for a garment bag.

I cannot explain to you how wonderful the service was at this place. I'd been dress shopping everywhere and this was the only place that really went out of their way, above and beyond, to make my dress shopping experience memorable, joyful, stress-free and affordable! The staff here is so professional and very friendly. Extremely helpful in knowing what works/what doesn't and they chose dresses that I loved - it was like they could read my mind! Wonderful experience here - my wedding gown, Claire Pettibone, came in on time and fast and the price was very affordable. I lived in Chicago but made sure to drive all the way back to Wisconsin JUST so I could purchase the dress here. WELL worth the drive - highly recommend them to everyone!

I would highly recommend The Bridal Event to anyone looking for a wedding dress. They are so welcoming and helpful. The thing I loved most was that I was able to go around the showroom and choose the dresses that I wanted to try on. I had tried David's Bridal first and hated how they pushed dresses onto you that you had no interest in. The attendants are so patient - I had a hard time deciding between two dresses and my attendant had no issue with lacing me up in the dresses several times.

I would HIGHLY recommend the bridal/formal event for your wedding. This was one of the first stores I went to to try on dresses. When we got there they were ready for us and let me take in and try on as many dresses as what I wanted. My consultant was eager to pull whatever I wanted and their layout by design helped so much! Once I narrowed down to a top five, she had no problem with us taking pictures of the dresses and even wrote down the style numbers and designers for us. They were the only store we went to that did that AND offered to match anyones prices, even online! I was more than pleased with my seamstress and she did everything in her power to make my dress as gorgeous as possible. Even with picking up my dress a few days before the wedding she ensured that if I needed anything done she would see to it that it was perfect. I would go back in a heartbeat!

As for the formal event, the guys tuxes looked amazing. Most places a tux is a tux, but they gave us a great deal for what we got, my husband got his for free and you can not beat Victoria's customer service. I believe that she is the manager or lead for that area, but she is the best. It seemed like every time I went in, she was working. She never hesitated to pull looks and dress a manican for me. Even after changing my mind on what I wanted several times, she never seemed annoyed by it and when asked, always offered great suggestions. Another plus was that we didnt have to get the tuxes back until Monday. GREAT GREAT store and we will recommend it to everyone from the area!

Oh my gosh, I fell in love with the Bridal Event. Prior to going there, I was getting frustrated with other bridal stores, but when I went there they won my heart over. They gave me their undivided attention and were willing to assist in any way possible. They did not rush you in any way either. They have a huge room for trying on dresses and are willing to give you suggestions. They allowed me to try on my veil, jewelry, shoes, etc., before I bought them!!! Brides-to-be take the time and go to the Bridal Event!!!

Also, downstairs they have the Formal Event which is where we got our tuxes and I HIGHLY recommend that place too. That was the FIRST tux store that allowed you to dress a display model they way you want your tuxes to look. AWESOME JOB !!!

The bridal consultants at The Bridal Event were friendly and helpful. The consultant I had worked exclusively with unlike the other bridal shop I went to that day. I appreciated the one-on-one assistance. The selection at the Bridal Event was huge and a wide variety of styles were available. The building the Bridal Event was in also included tuxes and photography so it was nice to be able to get everything in one place if needed. We did not utilize the men's formal attire or photography as it was quite a distance from our home and could not make trips often. Overall, my experience was wonderful and I would recommend The Bridal Event, Inc to anyone.

The Bridal Event did a wonderful job. I bought my dress, shoes and veil from them. Because they didn't have the dress I had found in the store to try on, they ordered my dress and discounted my purchase by 10%. I planned my wedding from out of town and they were great about fitting me in for last min alterations right before the wedding. Another huge bonus was that they stored and pressed my dress at no charge right before the wedding.

From the moment i walked into the Bridal Event I was happy. The staff is very knowledgeable and knows what looks good on any bride. When I was trying on my dress I had someone to help me one-on-one. After I bought my dress I was able to go in and try it on at any time, and it was no hassle to them.

I absoutely loved every aspect of my experience at the Bridal Event where we purchased my dress, the bridesmaids dresses and all of the tuxes. It was so nice to be able to go in without an appointment to look for the dresses. Everyone there was so helpful and they were not snotty like some of the other stores I visited. Their selection is the best and their prices are very reasonable. Once we had found the dresses, they called immediately when they were in and were very flexiable about fitting times. We probably changed our minds 10 times on the tuxes and they were so nice about it. Thank you Bridal Event!

The Bridal Event in Appleton was WONDERFUL! They had excellent customer service, and beautiful dresses. They did a wonderful job with alterations. I purchased my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, tiara, veil, and had my shoes dyed here. I loved working with them. :)

I do not like dresses typically, so I wasn't all that excited about dress shopping. I had gone to a few other places before, and wasn't having any luck finding what I wanted. I went to the Bridal Event by myself, in the middle of the week, and they were so great at pulling things that fit what I was looking for. Even though I was there by myself, they put me in one of the big dressing rooms, and there was no pressure at all to pick anything, and they only picked dresses that were within my budget. I ended up finding my dress that day, by myself. Even during the alterations process, when I was having concerns about the length and the bustle, they worked with me an extra day to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted.

I was always happy leaving or walking into the Bridal Event, great prices and employees! The only thing was that when I went to my first fitting was the seamstress was quite rude but the manager took care of the situation and I worked with a different person. I was more than happy with this place!

I purchased my wedding gown and my bridesmaid's dresses from The Bridal Event and am very happy with the quality of all the dresses and the entire experience. Ida (my consultant) was not annoying and pushy and knew the dress I would wear for my wedding before I did. It is a little more costly than some other area vendors but you get what you pay for! Thanks Ida and the Bridal Event staff!

The mother of the bride dress was purchased at the Bridal Event. The staff is so kind in assisting with choosing flattering gowns and hustling in with the large array of choices we wished to try on. As the bride the were fabulous to work with although I did not ultimately find my gown here they have a beautiful salon for brides and have a firesafe vault to protect all the purchased gowns. They were flexible in arranging the due dates for alterations.

I had found a dress online and they were very easy to work with for ordering it. I had went in to try on dresses with some of the same qualities as the dress I found and they were very helpful the whole time. They took their time and didn't make it feel like you needed to rush or anything was really impossible. Overall they were very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend them.

All the girls I worked with at the Bridal Event were extremely kind and treated me like I was the only bride they had ever worked with. The quality of their service and the alterations department were also superb. I would highly recommend them and they will make you feel like a very special bride.

I really loved the dress I found at The Bridal Event for our Vow Renewal and Anniversary celebration! I was even more impressed with the staff! Initially, Linda & Stacy helped me try on dresses, however, I was treated well by everyone there. I appreciated the flexible and caring service that was provided every time I went in. I purchased only one dress - and was given a generous discount since it was a discontinued style- yet I was treated like a VIP. Maria did my alterations and demonstrated the patience of a saint as she volunteered to redo one area I wasn't happy with. The final outcome was wonderful and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a special dress.

My dress was actually a bridesmaids dress. It was perfect for my second wedding. The alterations were great and they did not charge me when they found they had take in a seam a bit too much(...or I gained weight...:)

The ladies at Bridal Event were fun to shop with and I felt they cared about me and my bridal party. They were helpful in finding the perfect dress and took the time to give personal service. When items arrived from special orders, they were quick to call and let me visit my dress as often as I liked. They took care to keep my dress in the fire safe until I was ready to pick it up and made alterations on-site, which made it so easy. I was on the hunt for a Maggie Sottero gown and found it here...plus so many more!

The Bridal Event was wonderful - they had a large selection and were priced well. I also got the bridesmaids dresses there and I loved having everything there at one location. The only downfall was that they are very busy so scheduling needed to be done in advance

They have a great selection of dresses at reasonable prices; the dresses are sent from the designer after you order them, so no one else has ever worn them. They are more expensive than David Bridal, but there is a higher quality and not every other bride is wearing your same dress. I would recommend getting alterations elsewhere to save some money.

A very busy store but for good reason. Their selection is the best in town and their workers are very helpful. I was very pleased with the prices (several hundred cheaper than other stores) and the quality. A great place!

The Bridal Event was fabulous to work with!! Not only did they have by far the most dresses in the area, but they were very helpful and friendly every time I went there. They were very reassuring and they did a fabulous job with the alterations. If I ever need a formal dress again I will certainly make The Bridal Event my first stop!

I found the dress I wanted at another store but I ordered here becuase they were able to show me what the color would look like. I wanted a champagne colored dress and the place where I first tried it on had NOTHING to show me in that color so I didn't feel that I could order it without seeing the color first.

I have gone to them for multiple weddings that I stood up in and now I finally went for my own. We had a great time the day we picked out our dresses! The lady who helped us was fun and helpful. There are a lot of dresses to see. the only downside is that most of the dresses are in tiny sizes!

Amazing selection of bridal gowns of all kinds; courteous, helpful staff. Don't go shopping on Thursday-Saturday, as those seem to be the busiest days.

Could offer a more varied "mother-of-the-bride" selection.

I purchased my bridal gown from The Bridal Event and found there service helpful and courteous. The gown was the same price range at most bridal shops in the area. They do have a fireproof safe, so I felt good knowing my dress would be secure as I ordered it several months prior to the wedding. The seamstress was attentive and had no issues with making changes to minor details so the gown fit perfect. I had no issue ordering and the size gown I ordered fit like a glove so I had minimal alterations. They had been running a deal that if you spent a certain dollar amount they offered discounts, with the discount my alterations were only $50, which I found reasonable. They also had a large selection of bridesmaid dresses in all sizes and colors if you would like to outfit the bridal party.

I found my bridal gown at The Bridal Event and the experience was totally positive -- the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I was, however, not very taken with the tux-getting process. At least three of the six that we ordered were fitted laughably incorrectly and they were super expensive. Given the chance, I think we'd have gone somewhere else for our guys.

I purchased both my dress and all of my bridesmaid dresses through The Bridal Event and I have mixed feelings about this vendor. While I loved my dress and I feel they did an amazing job with alterations and everything, I was a bit unimpressed with they way they handled some of my bridesmaids. They were always very friendly and accommodating to me as a bride, but the woman working with my file was quite rude to some of my bridesmaids, both in my presence and when I was not there. When one of my bridesmaids went in to get measured, the consultant told her she could keep her belt on during the measuring. My bridesmaid didn't agree because it was a very chunky belt and when she tried to take the belt off, the consultant snapped at her for not trusting her judgment. She told her to order a size 12 after measuring her with the belt on.... my bridesmaid is a size 6 in dresses. She ultimately ordered it in an 8, which fit her perfectly, but the consultant continued to tell her that there was no way it would fit her body. She also asked one of my bridesmaids who was paying with her debit card if she had enough money in her bank account to cover the cost. I was pretty unimpressed that some of the most important people in my life were treated in this way. Everyone else I worked with was very nice and accommodating, and they have beautiful dresses at pretty reasonable prices. Overall, I would say definitely go there to try on dresses and see their selection, but feel it out for yourself, and maybe go elsewhere for bridesmaids dresses.

Also, as a sidenote, I do not recommend going through The Formal Event for tuxedos. The Formal Event is located in the basement of The Bridal Event. This is really the only vendor we had major problems with. While the tuxedos looked great, we had 3 out of the 10 men in our wedding renting tuxedos that had to be sent back the week of the wedding. My father and one of the groomsmen had not changed in size at all between the time they were measured and when they picked up the tuxedos, so I don't understand how that happened and I am glad they picked up their tuxes early enough to get it fixed in time. The other was our junior groomsmen-- they ordered everything WAY too big and had to get it sent back earlier in the week of the wedding. When they came to pick it up the day of the wedding, it was not ready. My nephew did not receive his tuxedo until an hour and a half before our ceremony and my sister and brother-in-law literally had to meet the Fed Ex truck in the city our ceremony was taking place in. I would avoid The Formal Event altogether.

I was very pleased with their customer service, but their were issues with their alterations department. I would take your dress elsewhere. My wedding dress was not altered the way they say they would and took it in making it way too tight. My maid of honor needed her whole dress taken apart by another seamstress to do more alterations. They did A great job dying my shoes to match color of my dress.

After buying a bridesmaids dress here for a friends wedding, this was the one & only bridal shop I went to for my own wedding. I bought my dress there & all of my bridesmaids bought their dresses there, too. I loved the fact that you didn't have to make an appointment to try on dresses. And their consultants weren't breathing down your necks pressuring you to make a purchase.

The dress came in record time. They were a little behind in dying my shoes. Also, as a long distance bride, I had only two times I could fly in for fittings. I had to tell the seamstress at boh appointments the dress was too loose both times. I ended up pulling my dress up all night, the one thing I didn't want to do!!! Get your dress there, but find a different seamstress for alterations.

The Bridal Event was a great place to work with regarding my dress and bridesmaid dresses. My husband also got his tuxes from the Formal Event which is in the basement of the Bridal Event. We used all three services provided in this building (Bridal Event, Formal Event, Portrait Event---which was nice to have all those in the same place because it was less running around to do.) The girls at the Bridal Event were very helpful with letting me come try on my dress when I wanted to and they made sure that things came in on time. Also, I had my dress altered there and it was done very well. The one nice thing about the Bridal Event is that they have a fire-proof vault in their store where you can leave your dress until the day you need to pick it up. No worrying about where to put a dress for 8 months before your wedding like some places. I would recommend using the Bridal Event to purchase a dress, accessories, bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses and flower girl dresses.

Bridal Event service reps were very professional. It is a busy store so getting an attendant's attention on a Saturday is difficult; however, they are extremely helpful. The store has a massive collection of dresses from many different designers in many different colors. They also match prices, including those online, as long as you bring in a print-out of the website. This can save you so much money!

I had a positive experience purchasing my wedding gown from the Bridal Event. They were attentive and friendly. I also enjoyed that they altered the gown in house and they stored my gown for me until the day before my wedding in a fire safe vault. The problems we had were with the Formal Event, which is downstairs of the Bridal Event and they handle all the menswear. We had some issues with the ordering of the suits, and were told that the suits could all be picked up at a certain time and then one of them wasn't even in yet (this is like two days before the wedding). And one of the groomsmen pants split open (from walking, not even dancing or anything) and they CHARGED ME for it! I was not impressed with all the hassle we had with them and because their suit was of poor quality they charged ME! The girls upstairs handling the wedding gowns are terrific and professional, the girls downstairs handling the menswear seemed to be a little unorganized.

Be careful, they will push you to order much larger dress sizes and then expect to pay for alterations. One of our attendants was ordered a dress 10 sizes to big! They will not except responsibility "All sales are final" Of course they make you pay for the dress months before they come in so your screwed! Asked them to get the right size dress "refused" asked for our money back "refused". We are stuck with this dress!!!! I am furious! They also ordered the brides dress 2 sizes to big! Were told alterations are $300!!!!!! Just telling it like it is.

After purchasing my bridal gown here, the service quickly declined. My wedding dress is/was absolutely stunning. This place has a beautiful selection of dresses, but the service is very poor - nearly all of my bridesmaids, my groom, and our groomsmen all complained of bad experiences during fittings and pickups. The tux quality was poor (we had relatives helping to "fix" tuxes nearly an hour before the ceremony), they had to drop off a portion of a tux on the day of the wedding (right to the church...), and my bridesmaids were pushed into purchasing dress sizes that they didn't feel were accurate (too big - when they arrived, the sizing was indeed poor). There is a lot more like being unhelpful/rude, inconsistent messaging, etc. Don't add to your list of wedding stresses by purchasing from the Bridal Event. It's a shame because they do have a gorgeous selection.

Rude manager, who obviously can not hear

Appointment was set up, manager was helping us. She met us at the door, showed us where the dresses were and walked away. We found some to try on. When the bride said she didn't care for one of the styles, the manager looked at the bridesmaid and tried to talk her into the dress. The bridesmaid said no. The bride said that she was finished looking, which the manager ignored. She had the bridesmaid try on dresses with necklines around the dress. Knowing the bridesmaid was very uncomfortable in high necklines, I asked if she felt like the neckline was choking her. She was not comfortable in the dress. At which time the manager then raised her voice to me and said, "She can speak for herself!" Which she was, the manager could not hear her soft voice.Then the manager remarked, in the dressing room that it didn't pay to try on the other dresses since I wouldn't like them. Which the bridesmaid said was very nasty of her to talk against the mother of the bride. When the bride went to get color samples, the manager said that she was not choking my daughter like I accused her of. When I called to discuss it, the manager once again accused me of saying she was choking my daughter, that my daughter was not allowed to talk and hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

Not worth the drive!!

The worst place ever. We arrived for our appointment to look for a MOB dress. The place was crowed, disorganized, and minimal selection. We used the restroom, after checking in, and told Krysta (?) that we were ready. She replied "OK, have a good day". Seriously??? We just got there. Perhaps she was distracted by
Annie (manager?) yelling at another employee between making snarky comments about a customer who apparently had called earlier, requesting a different appointment time. Regardless, she pointed to the dresses and said we could look and use an open dressing room. I found ONE dress that may have worked. Nope. Not worth $465. We came out of the dressing room and told her we'd check the bridesmaid's dresses. I then asked her why none of the staff were wearing masks. Her response? "Oh, we don't need to". Really? there is a state mandate. She said "If you have a problem with it, you can talk to my manager!" Nope!! We're done here. My daughter call David's Bridal and we were welcomed graciously (even without a scheduled appointment). They treated us like we WERE important and the trip was a success!!! Stay clear from the Bridal Event. They are NOT WORTH THE DRIVE.

Disappointing

Ordered my bridesmaid dress in February, called about it in june and was told they would call me when the dress came in. Okay, fine. The wedding is in October, I've got time, no problem. End of august, the bride contacts me and asks me if I've heard anything about my dress, I tell her no, she says the other bridesmaids haven't heard anything either and so she calls bridal event. They tell her the dress will be ordered and shipped together a month before the wedding. Okay? A month goes by, I don't hear anything so I contact the bride to see if she's heard anything. Nope. So she calls bridal event and they tell her the dresses haven't been shipped yet, but they will be shipped the minute she gets off the phone. Three days later, the bride gets a call from bridal event saying the dresses weren't actually shipped then, but most definitely are now, don't worry. This is now three weeks before the wedding. One week later the dresses come in, I schedule a fitting and the dress is so small I can't get it to zip at all. I have to come in three more times (the last time three days before the wedding) and then the day of the wedding I go to put on the dress and I find a six inch tear in my dress! Did no one check my dress before handing it to me?! Luckily the bride and her mother came prepared with pins and sewing kits and they managed to patch up my dress for the wedding. I was so angry and disappointed and I can't believe how unprofessional this staff is to send out a dress with a gigantic hole in the bodice-I mean seriously how can you miss that?!!? Unbelievable.

9 of 11 tuxes were severly incorrect. 2 had to be delivered to us day of the wedding. 5 out of 5 dresses that were altered were sloppy or never quite correct. 4 out of 7 dresses purchased had mechanical issues (zippers or clasps that failed). Customer service was hit or miss - either spectacular, or horrid. Phone call with the manager to address these issues provided NO resolution - or even empathy to the situation.

STAY AWAY! I will pass the word as far as I can. If I had it to do over, I would never have given my business to this store.

Nothing but trouble from start to finish. Surprise fees even after paying in full up front . Complete lack of ownership and responsibility for their actions ( lack there of). Bridesmaids dress doesn't fit, they dialed to take measurements despite me going to the store and purchasing in house...but you know.. it's not their fault...don't shop here it will ruin your day over and over and cost you not only th dress price but seamstress to fix their mistakes.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WORST EXPIERENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd like to start by saying that I gave The Bridal Event EVERY opportunity to make this right before writing this review. Our experience started back on 11/26/16 and our wedding wasn't until 9/2/17. We just wanted to get that out of the way. Everything went great. "WE THOUGHT" We got a call in march and they had messed up all of our info. About a month later we got the exact same phone call. I WAS WORRIED! But was reassured by Anna that it happens all the time and there was plenty of time and every thing would be fine. About a month or so later we stopped in on our own and while reviewing our info "WE" realized that they had all of the best man and groomsman info mixed up. The week of our wedding finally arrived and with all of our planning every thing was ready to go. I called on Tuesday and she told me that our tuxes would be in at 10am on Wednesday. I called Wednesday and was told 10am Thursday. I called Thursday and was told 8am Friday. Now I was confused. FINALLY at 1pm on Friday she called and they were in. Did I mention that 4 of the guys were from out of town and were supposed to work until 6pm on Friday? Anna assured me that there wouldn't be any issues but if there were it would be fine. Mine and 2 of the other 6 fit. My best mans fit but the pants and tie were broke, shirt was missing buttons and shoes didn't fit. Then we had other wrong shoes and shirts and ties. Anna told us it would be fine and we would have them at 8am Saturday my wedding day. I called at 10am and Anna said every thing was fine and the tuxes would be there shortly. Then she said "its the grooms job to be stressed out on his wedding day!" Wait WHAT? Finally at 12 we got our tuxes. My BM tux was huge. Whatever we had to get ready cuz we still had a 30min drive to MY WEDDING! Do NOT go here for alternations! I ordered my bridal gown from them and was measured hollow to hem. During the measurement, I let them know I would be wearing flats and I wanted to bottom of the dress to the floor. 1st alteration visit -- I had concerns with the length of the dress cause it looked too short, but they told me once the hip area fit correctly, they dress would be longer. 2nd alteration visit -- the hip area was fixed, but the dress was still WAY too short. I'm talking a good 2 1/2 to 3 inches too short to where you could see my entire shoe and some ankle. They said there must have been an issue with the measurement but could lengthen the dress. 3rd alteration visit -- They told me that they didn't have any fabric that matched my dress color completely. So now at the bottom of my dress, there is about 3 inches of a clearly whiter fabric and a visible seam. The alteration lady said she could add fabric and lower the lace to cover the seam. 4th alteration visit and 5 days before the wedding -- The lace on one side of the dress was the perfect length and the other side was about 2 inches to short. I don't know how you can mess this up. Measure where the lace falls and make it the same on each side. The alteration lady's comment "Oh I guess I should have pinned it so I knew exactly what length it needed to be". You think?!?!? She pinned it and asked if I could come back the next day. Please note I live 35 minutes from this place. 5th alteration visit and 4 days before the wedding -- The lace finally covers the two-tine under layer which I should have never had if they had measured correctly. I sign for the dress to take it home and they ask for $90 to pay for the hollow to hem measurement THAT THEY MESSED UP! I told her that I did not believe I should have to pay for that because of the measuring error. She went and checked in back. She said they didn't charge for the hem work and had to pay for the hollow to hem fee.

I ordered my dress from this place and paid in full. My husband ended up going into the military and we had to put off our wedding date. I did not want him to see the dress so I called The Bridal Event and they told me that it would be no problem and they would put it in the vault. When I called to pick up the dress, I was told that they had no record of my sale. I lost out on my dress AND the $900+ I spent there. To this day, I cry when I think about it. I never did get to have my wedding.

Never order your tuxes from this place! All, but 2 of our tuxes were ordering incorrectly! They were significant wrong sizes! It was almost a joke how off the sizes were. So, we had to reorder the tuxes and 3 of them didn't come back in until the day or our wedding, including the grooms!!! We were so upset as we have enough on our minds that day. On top of it the tuxes they ordered for the second time, still came in not fitting correctly! However, it was the day of the wedding so we could not reorder for the third time. Another thing that went wrong is the pants were not what we had ordered. They were a completely different pair than what the employee had showed us was being ordered, but again, there was nothing we could do as it was the day of our wedding. Definitely stay away from the tuxes at this place. Out of all the vendors we had contracts with for our special day, this was by far the worst and the only one that did not deliver once so ever.

The very first time I went there the bridal consultant Bailey was awesome. She was very receptive to my needs. The second time I went there the bridal consultant was ok but she didn't give me a comfort feeling like the first girl did. I did find THE DRESS that day. The Manager (a slim lady with short red hair) was kind of rude and stand offish. I left without getting the dress but returned to order it because I knew I could get it there. Upon buying my dress from them, they told me I would get 20% off accessories. I decided to wait to get them because I wanted to get my dress first. My husband and I had to change our wedding date due to his father not being able to make it until later. I asked them if I could wait to choose my accessories because I wanted to get them about a month before my wedding to make sure I loved them. They said this was fine and I would get the 20% off. When I returned and I was paying for my accessories they did not grant the 20% off. I was mad but still decided to buy the stuff. I calmly asked about the 20% and the cashier informed me they would not because we changed our wedding date. This upset me but I am not one to say much. I did tell her that I was told they would grant it and when the manager was asked she gave me a "dirty" (for lack of a better word) look and kept whispering something to the cashier. This was very disrespectful in my eyes and I would never return or suggest them to ANYONE!!! They are very unprofessional! I wish I would have found another retailer that carried the brand and bought it there. I would suggest that if you do go here, don't order your dress here. Edith's which is about 30 miles away is where I would go to order my dress!
