Stephen, his wife, and team did an amazing job on our florals! They were exactly what we had envisioned! Everyone was impressed with the beautiful setup in the chapel and the venue. Stephen was easy to work with from beginning to end. I am extremely happy I chose The Bloom Room for our florals!

Easily the best florals I have seen!

Stephen and Kathy were simply AMAZING. I honestly knew as soon as I met them that I wanted them to do my flowers. I cannot explain to you how amazing their work is! They were super responsive, and helpful - I have NO CLUE when it comes to flowers what looks good together but that was never an issue I told them what colors I like and BOOM a masterpiece! Best decision ever.

Wedding Floral Dreams

Stephen and the Bloom Room Team made all my wedding floral dreams come true! I had a very specific vision of tropical glam and they executed better than I could have ever imagined. They went to great lengths to get all the blooms I asked for. Not only did they execute my vision but they presented so many amazing ideas I hadn't thought of. I knew my head table florals were going to be amazing but they were bigger and better than I could have ever anticipated. Working with Stephen was truly a delight of my wedding and I cannot recommend or thank them enough!

A beautiful experience!

Stephen and Kathy exceeded every expectation we had for our daughter's wedding. They worked SO patiently with us and their attention to detail was phenomenal. They worked within our budget and made great suggestions on how to optimize our arrangements (for example, using our flowers from the church at the venue) to get the most value. They also took care of a lot of our décor as well as our candy bar, and we received a lot of compliments. They made the entire process so stress-free, plus, they were just plain fun to work with. We have now had TWO wedding experiences with them and they are consistently excellent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, WITHOUT RESERVATION

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

Steven and Kathy exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding (and the expectations were already set pretty high from the meetings we'd had with them). Any picture I had given them from Pinterest as my "inspiration", they made it 10x more beautiful. They worked SO patiently with us, from the first day when I had to ask about 10 different types of roses, all the way to when there were nit-picky things I wanted to change the day before/day of. The Bloom Room bent over backwards in so many ways to make sure our florals were perfect, and oh wow did they deliver. They also did a lot of our décor as well as our candy bar, and we got an unbelievable amount of compliments - all thanks to Steven and Kathy. They made the entire process so stress-free; I seriously cannot recommend them highly enough.

Beautiful wedding, wonderful vendor!

I couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding!! The flowers, drapes, lighting, chargers, decor and linens provided by the Bloom Room were all absolutely perfect. I walked in to the reception and ceremony, blown away by how fantastic everything looked! I got so many compliments from my guests about how stunning the wedding was. The attention to detail was meticulously done. Stephen and Kathy were easy and fun to work with. Together we went through our wedding vision and it most certainly surpassed even my expectations. They even made the special effort to visit our venue the weeks prior to make sure the measurements for the pipe and draping were right! I went to three different floral and design companies and the Bloom Room, by far, was the best at working with and sticking to our budget - helping us save thousands. Stunning Work!

I owe so much thanks to Steven and Kathy from The Bloom Room! They made my vision for our wedding on 3/9/19 come to life! I met Steven at the bridal extravaganza over a year ago. As soon as I told him what my vision was, he totally understood and painted a whole beautiful picture of what my wedding would look like! Not long after that we decided to book them and I am SO HAPPY we did. We had a Great Gatsby Themed wedding, and everything from the ostrich feather center pieces, to the gold and black glitter table cloths, the bouquets and bouteneers was beaiftul. Their amazing decorating made the whole party come to life. My guests all loved the theme and everyone felt like they were in an upscale speakeasy. They absolutely BLEW MY MIND!!! I highly recommended The Bloom Room, they will make your vision come true!

Beautiful flowers and great service!

I LOVED getting to work with Stephen and Kathy on the flowers for my wedding day!! My sister had used them for her wedding earlier this year, and I saw what an amazing job they did for her, so I had to have them for my wedding! They will work with you to find out exactly what you want and help you visualize everything about how the wedding will look. They also provided my linens, which was really convenient! The Bloom Room is great to work with and will give you a reasonable price for what you ask for. I would highly recommend them!!!

Kathy and Stephen are awesome! they are kind and detail (I love detail person) and I love their flower room, it's like rooms to go!! I really enjoy working with them. My wedding is on Oct. 27th 2018, I will circle back here and update photos from my wedding day. Even if I didn't see my flowers/ settings yet, I already known that they won't let me down!!! and more importantly, they give you reasonable price~~

For us, we wanted our wedding to be beautiful but we didn't want to spend to much on flowers. Stephen and Kathy, made it happen.
They are pleasant to work with, have so many rental options to choose from, and kind on the phone and in person. Its great because you can rent linens etc. all in one place. They respond in a timely manner and brainstorm with you to make things happen. Whether you have a small budget or a big one, they never make you feel less than.

Our bouquets, boutonnieres etc. they were beautiful. They work well with other vendors like providing our cake lady with flowers etc. They deliver on time and were in and out on the day of the wedding as if they were never even there. They get the job done with no fuss. I didn't even get to give them a hug that day cause it was crazy but trust me, theyre great. you won't regret it.

I HIGHLY recommend The Bloom Room!!! They are awesome. They are so easy to talk to and their work is beautiful. They designed my wedding flowers perfectly! I told them what I was imagining and gave them inspiration pictures and they were exactly what I wanted. They are also extremely reasonable when it comes to pricing. We got so much more with them for less than anybody else we looked at and their customer service can't be beat!

The Bloom Room is amazing. They did a fantastic job at our wedding. They were very attentive at our meeting and took great notes on exactly what image we wanted for our wedding. They were right on time the day of the wedding, were familiar with our venue (the Bell Tower on 34th), executed everything exactly as we asked for and the flowers were the most stunning part of the wedding. The centerpieces were magnificent as well as the flowers at the head table. We had a sofreh aghd at our wedding since it was a traditional persian wedding and Stephen and his crew did a fantastic job to incorporate the flowers on and around the sofreh for the ceremony portion of the wedding. I would definitely recommend The Bloom Room for weddings.

WOW! Working with Stephen and Kathy was such a wonderful experience. They formed such a welcoming atmosphere during our initial meeting that made me feel so comfortable! They truly are so knowledgeable and professional about their work. They have a wonderful sense of humor because who doesn't need a good laugh during the stress of planning right? The Bloom Room was by far the best money spent on our wedding. Stephen is such a joy to work with and made our wedding look absolutely stunning. He worked with our budget and even changed things last minute for us. I had complete trust in him from the start of the planning process, to end of the reception. He puts so much detail into planning which flowers will work with your vision and takes great pride in his work. That is not the easiest thing to find in this day and age. They provided for us linens, all different height centerpieces, candles, flowers for the wedding cake and piece of mind. The room looked like a scene out of Beauty and the Beast and brought tears to my eyes when I first saw it. I cannot thank Stephen enough for making my wedding so memorable!

Stephen and The Bloom Room were one of the best parts of our wedding day. I first found out about the Bloom Room during Bridal Extravaganza. I didn’t have an exact idea of what I wanted, with the exception of calla lilies, but when I saw a display bouquet at their booth, I was hooked. It had a great mix of neutral colors along with distinctive greenery and the most precious grey “flowers/bulbs”. My fiancé and I went to meet with Stephen at his showroom. Bloom Room is way more than just flowers! We picked out flowers, lanterns, 3 different centerpiece looks and the ceremony décor as well. It was great to be able to get every décor item with one person, especially since the price include set up and clean up. Stephen was beyond fast in getting us an extremely detailed, itemized quote. He also has such a great eye for what looks great and how to style everything to suit your desired look. When I emailed him to see if there was any way to reduce the price by cutting a few things, he was not only accommodating but he never once made it awkward (which can be in financial situations) He was so professional when talking about staying within a budget (we didn’t really have one when we first visited). We had some changes in wedding party and he was great at making sure everything was up to date by the day of. I can honestly say I had 100% confidence that the flowers would be stellar and they were!! I also had zero to worry about the day of in regards to flowers. I didn’t even notice when they picked up everything from the ceremony and transported the flowers to the hotel. There were two candle votive trees I fell in love with during our initial meeting but had no clue where to place them. Stephen has a keen eye for detail because he put them in such a perfect spot, we got compliments over those trees weeks after the wedding. I would highly recommend Stephen and The Bloom room if you want a unique, beautiful, elegant look for your wedding, without stress and at an exception val

The Bloom Room provided flowers for the ceremony (bouquets, altar flowers, boutonnieres), and the reception). My mother and I met with Naomi, who took my verbal ideas and Pinterest page and developed some fantastic ideas for our flowers. While I love flowers, I don't really know one from another. She was able to help us find flowers that would be both beautiful and in season for a November wedding. She and Stephen were also able to incorporate my great-grandmother's rosary into my bridal bouquet as my "something old", which my family appreciated and turned out beautifully. Stephen and Naomi were very responsive to phone calls and emails. They were a pleasure to work with.

The Bloom Room was fantastic! We found them on Wedding Wire and noticed that their studio office was right across the street from my work. I had a few pictures and some color ideas to show them but no real idea on what I wanted to whole picture to transform into. Stephen from the Bloom Room came to the rescue and turned my small idea into a beautiful scene of my shabby chic wedding in Pearland, Texas. They did a wonderful job on the table centerpieces, corsages, pipe and draping, and more. If you need somewhere to start, this is the place.

The Bloom Room was absolutely fantastic. We found them on Wedding Wire and saw that they were located right by my work. I showed them an overall design and some color choices and they transformed my small idea to a beautiful masterpiece. I didn't know what thinhs were called or how to place things and they took care of everything. After a few consultation meetings everything was set and then I got to see examples of certain table pieces in the studio. Each design was exactly as described and the pricing is fair for the details you are receiving. On the day of the wedding I also got to see Stephen and the crew setup all the choices we had made and it made me so happy to see the bamquet hall transformed to a beautiful wedding venue. If you need not only a florist but a designer for the setting, the Bloom Room is the way to go!

From start to finish they were professionals and did the most AMAZING job of transforming my daughters venue into the wedding of her dreams!! The Bloom Room did absolutely amazing work for our wedding! They changed management between the time we signed a contract and the time of the wedding. However, our vision completely came to life on our wedding day. The flowers were gorgeous and everything I asked for. I did bridal portraits about 3 weeks before the wedding and my bouquet wasn't exactly what i wanted. When I told them my thoughts, they made the changes I asked for and my bouquet on my wedding day was exactly what I asked for.

The Bloom Room also provided linens (tablecloths, cloth napkins and chair sashes) that were beautiful and much more affordable going through their company rather than a separate vendor. I highly recommend getting your linens with them as well.

There are many florists in the city of Houston but The Bloom Room made the decision of picking a wedding florist very easy! The staff was very professional, talented, and easy to work with. I had an idea of what I wanted our wedding to look like, but needed help deciding on exactly what I wanted. They took my vision and helped me decide on the flowers, table decor and linens. They are wonderful individuals who make an effort to get to know their clients and gave attention to detail to every aspect of the wedding ceremony and reception.

I used The Bloom Room for the flowers and linens at my wedding and rehearsal dinner. My mother-in-law did most of the planning with Kyra, and I was absolutely floored by the final products. The linens and centerpieces were STUNNING. I could not believe my eyes when I walked in to the reception. It looked like something out of a magazine it was so perfect! First, Kya was terrific to work with. When you go in for your first consultation, she has a battery of questions (many of which we hadn't even thought of) to help you figure out what type and how many flowers you'll need. She was really helpful in helping me to put my vision into words when we were planning. Then, our flowers were VERY affordable, and we were pleasantly surprised when we got our bill. Everything was beautiful, my only complaint is that my flowers were not quite as pink as I had hoped, but everything was gorgeous none the less. Kya, also designed and set up our candy table. We provided all the candy to her and she provided all the jars and serveware and set it up! It looked fantastic! I would recommend both Kya's floral and candy buffet decorating services to anyone!

We absolutely loved having the Bloom Room as the florist for our wedding. I had a basic idea of what I wanted for the bridal party flowers, but I didn't have much of a budget for centerpieces for the reception. Kya came up with a couple of options for me. When the price was still a little out of my range, she came up with other options to bring the price down and I didn't have to skimp on the flowers for my wedding. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and I was thrilled with what Kya and her team put together. Kya was easy to work with and always quick to respond to my questions.

Let's face it, flowers are an expensive part of a wedding. What I loved most about the Bloom Room is they gave me gorgeous flowers and they were willing to work within my budget!

I love flowers, but had no idea what I wanted or how much it would cost. My ideas were very far out of my price range and not realistic (money or season).
The Bloom Room politely reined me in.
They showed me pictures of different types of flowers, what colors they come in and how the colors may range (you can't necessarily control nature).
They looked at my sample pictures and asked if I wanted exactly that or if I just liked it. When I said I just liked it they used my pictures as templates to help figure out what I was actually looking for.
In the end, they helped me into my budget, but still gave me the beautiful flowers I was looking for.
And on my wedding day my arrangements and bouquets were perfect (as perfect as you can make it).
Very pleased with the service.
Also several days after my wedding The Bloom Room followed up with me to make sure I was pleased. So, very good customer service as well.

Kya was such a great person to work with! I kept changing and adding things and she had it done no problem. When everything was delivered and set up for the big day it was beautiful. I am so lucky to have stumbled upon the Bloom Room during my search for Houston florists. I had planned to have wristlets, boutonnieres, and my bridal bouquet made professionally but I was going to arrange the centerpieces myself. Ok brides... I was the girl that thought I would "do things myself" in this category to save a little money. After seeing their booth at the Bridal Extravaganza I decided I might have them do a few pieces for the backdrop of my ceremony. My mother and I went to meet with Kya and she was the definition of professional... so helpful. She had great ideas and when we saw how reasonable their pricing was we ended up having them do all of the flowers, table cloths, centerpieces, bouquets, and some draping for some added elegance. This was the BEST DECISION EVER... brides, there are so many things on your wedding day, you can truely trust these guys to get the job done, they show up, set up, take down. Although we spent a little more than we thought we would on decorations it was worth EVERY PENNY to take that burden off my mother and I so we could actually enjoy the day! It was so beautiful I wouldnt have changed anything

This review is 3 months late-- she did an event back in October for me but I just had to brag. Kya has an amazing capability-- you can tell she works very hard and really makes an effort to deliver to her customers. I had a very tight budget for flowers/linens-- the awesome thing with her is she created a package that didn't look cheap despite how much I was pinching the budget on flowers. It looked very classy and throughout the process she made things run very smoothly and seamless--- including making changes with draping and payments on a hectic work schedule. The Bloom Room is awesome! We just used them for our wedding on 12/21/13 and were BEYOND satisfied with the services. My bouquet was EXACTLY what I envisioned and was absolutely beautiful, as were my bridesmaids' bouquets and the groomsmen's boutonnières. It was hard finding someone I could trust since 2 months before the wedding my first floral vendor did not want to do my wedding or return my money. The bloom room was so helpful at such a stressful time. I would highly recommend Kya at The Bloom Room for your wedding floral needs. She was responsive to all my emails and phone calls, which helped tremendously since I was unable to set up an in-person meeting due to living out of town. I simply sent her pictures of the flowers I wanted and my budget, and she sent me an estimated invoice the same day.

In the weeks leading up to the big day, I was able to add any changes (i.e. more flowers) as needed without any problem. If a requested type of bloom was out of my budget, Kya was prompt in offering up a similar alternative. On the day of the wedding, the flowers looked gorgeous, and I was happy with both the price and quality. They stayed fresh throughout the evening and served as decorative accents at my house for the next few days. Thank you Bloom Room for helping me put together a beautiful day!

My daughter wanted to create a Texas Chic theme for her wedding. We interviewed multiple florists and no one seemed to understand the concept. They all kept going to a vintage look which was not at all what we were creating. Kya not only got the concept but used the materials and flowers that we wanted to create a beautiful space at Brazos Springs. The flowers were spectacular and her staff was flawless. Our cake needed some work and the guys pulled flowers apart one at a time to lay them precisely around the layers..the result was stunning. I cannot say enough about how pleased we are. I would highly recommend The Bloom Room! When I first met with Kya for an initial consultation, I was so impressed with her knowledge, energy and passion for weddings and flowers! She wanted to know everything about my wedding and we literally went through the entire event detail by detail in order for her to get a good idea of the look and feel that I was going for. We went through each flower arrangement and she described her ideas in such vivid detail that I left with a clear picture of what she envisioned.

After our meeting, I felt so good not only about the flowers, but also about the entire plan for my wedding. She offered such great advice based on her years of experience in the industry and pointed out a few things that I hadn't thought about. In addition to flowers, she also was able to provide tables for the cakes, beautiful drapery, and at the last minute, some additional vases and votives when my DIY project didn't go as planned.

On the wedding day, I was just blown away by how gorgeous the flowers were, especially the centerpieces - they truly made the event!! So many of my wedding guests raved about how gorgeous they were too! Kya was able to truly take my vision and ideas and create something even more beautiful and more unique than I could have ever imagined. I gave her creative freedom to do her best work within the vision and she completely delivered! I highly recommend Kya and her team at The Bloom Room!!

We are so thankful to Kya and her team for the outstanding job they did on our wedding flowers and decorations!!! Our centerpieces looked amazing and my bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I were so happy when we arrived at our reception, everything looked more beautiful than we imagined! Kya is wonderful to work with! She was able to capture exactly what we wanted. She worked within our budget and gave us great advice on budget-friendly flowers. She is very reasonably priced. She was also very flexible and accommodated with our busy work/school schedule. I highly recommend The Bloom Room, you will not be disappointed!

The Bloom Room provided our wedding bouquets and boutinneires and they were STUNNING! Kya and her staff are creative, professional and genuinely care that you're 100% happy with your flowers. She made recommendations based on our discussions and also listened and accommodated the things that were most important to me. She pays attention to every last detail. I was confident in her work but was truly blown away at how gorgeous our flowers turned out.

We met Kya at one of the big Houston Bridal shows. Her booth caught my attention right away with the bright colors, shiny decor and creative showcase. During our consultation, Kya asked some great questions to help us figure out exactly what we want and how we want it. We loved the fact that Kya was so organized; she had various options for us in terms of flowers and price, she knew what flowers were in season vs. not in season, what colors mesh well together, how big the bouquets should be, etc. As for communication, Kya was on top of things! Generally within 30 minutes or less, Kya would respond to my emails. I never had trouble reaching her. Her quote/statement was very easy to read and understand. At the wedding, our guests couldn't stop admiring our flowers. We had so many compliments about the flowers. We greatly appreciated Kya's expertise and advice on our wedding. She absolutely went above and beyond for us. Thank you Kya and we highly recommend The Bloom Room for anyone!

My husband Brian & I got married at Vargos on 11-11-11 and felt very lucky to have that date and to have Kya as our florist and overall decor of our wedding ceremony by the Gazebo and reception. Since Vargos has peacocks and they are beautiful colors, I wanted that to be the theme. She transformed my vision into a look that was classy, timeless and truly exquisite. We got so many compliments on how nice everything looked. We only met with each other once over the summer and then handled everything else through email since we lived in NJ. Once we met I knew I was in great hands; I loved her style and knew whatever she did was going to look amazing... and that it did!

Kyan Heinen's work was awesome! My husband and I were truly impressed with her work when got to the reception. We met with Kya and we clicked immediately, but we wanted to meet with another florist before we made a decision. After meeting with the 2nd florist, we knew that Kya was the one. She listened to our ideas and suggested some of her own. Her shop was very organized and she was very professional. She was able to work close to our budget which was a definite plus. I highly reccomend her to any bride & groom. THANK YOU KYA! I can't wait for my next event to use your services.

Kya, Owner of The Bloom Room, is simply AMAZING!! I knew after my consultation with her, that I was in great hands. She listens to your ideas and really brings YOUR vision to life. I cannot say enough great things about her! Her attention to detail and fabulous sense of elegance makes her an asset to any bride!! We had to change my venue two weeks before the big day due to the wildfires in Magnolia, Texas. Thank goodness Kya is so great at what she does. She was able to come into a totally new venue and capture everything the way I had always dreamed of in record time!! KYA- YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

I am not into flowers and only decided on using bouquets, corsages, etc for the wedding party to keep family happy. Despite this, Kya and her team treated me just as they would any other bride that would need center pieces and other floral decor (many other vendors didn't want to give me the time of day when I said I didn't want any floral arrangements). Kya made suggestions on what would look good, but remain in my minimalist vision. The price was also one of the lowest I found. When the flowers were delivered the day of, the gentleman came with a smile and put the flowers in each the grooms room and bridal suite. The only downside is some of my flowers (ivory roses) had very minimal browning at the tip (not enough for people to notice or to show in photos). I am very pleased with them overall and would recommend to a bride with small or large needs.

I loved the flowers and decor at my wedding. Kya is so talented. I didn't really have a vision at first, and Kya took what little information I gave her and turned it into so much more. She really knows what she's doing! At our meeting she took the time to go through all of the different bouquet / centerpiece options with me, and she was really good about staying within my budget. Something else that I really appreciated about Kya was how quickly she responded to my emails. She was fast with her responses and answered all of my questions thoroughly. She really impressed me with my bouquet-- it looked fresh and perfect, and smelled absolutely amazing! Thanks, Kya!

Kathy and Stephen at The Bloom Room did the most incredible job of putting my ideas into real life recreations! They perfectly recreated the romantic, woodsy, Southern plantation feel I was going for and we truly couldn't have been happier. They are so friendly and personable and are wonderful about responding quickly. Their prices are extremely competitive and in my opinion more than worth every penny. I recommend them to everyone planning a wedding like I was or really anyone planning an event requiring florals!

We really enjoyed working with Stephen. We came in last minute to add some things to our venue's included floral package. Pricing was very good and Stephen was easy to work with. I would recommend for any size wedding.

I had Bloom Room provide floral services to my wedding this past weekend. Kya was wonderful. My mother in law was involved in helping with this process, and Kya was the only floral vendor that was nice, included her in the consultation, and made her feel comfortable.

Kya accurately replicated our ideas and was creative in money saving measures. We were able to reuse our pew flowers for our reception. The end product was gorgeous. Kya was a good listener in the consultation proces and knowledgeable about flowers. She made us feel confident in her abilities and at ease. Emails and phone calls were answered promptly. Everything was delivered on time and individuals items were labeled to make distribution easy. Would definitely recommend this vendor!

My flowers were absolutely beautiful and they did exactly what I asked for. Kya from The Bloom Room helped plan and design the exact look I was going for. They arrived on time the day of and set it all up. The ONLY problem we came across was a mix up a few days before with vases...but Kya was quick to resolve the problem so that I had no worries. I was also told by one of my BM's that one of the girls that came to set up was not the friendliest person...but all in all I was VERY happy with the service of this company and would recommend them to anyone.

We hired The Bloom Room (Kya) to do the floral arrangements for our wedding. We were very satisfied how she met with us, gave us ideas, and turned our wishes into reality. She always had time to meet with us despite her busy schedule. She did such a great job with the centerpieces that we received so many comliments from our guests. We gave Kya a sample of the bridemaids dress and she matched the colours perfectly for the centerpieces and table cloths. Also, she is very easy to work with and very accomodating

We hired The Bloom Room to decorate our wedding ceremony and reception, which included both flowers as well as other rentals (chargers, chair covers). They also made the bouquets, boutonniers, etc for the wedding party. Kya was our contact at the Bloom Room. She was very responsive to every email/call and was very detail oriented. She came up with ideas for various budget points, and also gave me different options for the decor. My only complaint was the lack of samples/pictures to view either online or in the shop. But if you can get past this and trust Kya when she says that she will go the distance to give you what you want, then you will not be disappointed. Our centerpieces were full and lush, the wedding party's flowers had beautiful designs/textures, and my bouquet was larger than I expected. The attention to detail was apparent in each item made and we were overall happy w/the products and service offered by the Bloom Room.

The Bloom Room was amazing! We did have some communication mishaps at the start of our inquiry, but I know it was due to circumstances out of Stephen's control and he was extremely professional. The price was reasonable compared to other vendors I researched, and Stephen was very receptive to the vision I had for the arrangements.

But let me just say -- our flowers were GORGEOUS. My bouquet must have weighed ten pounds because of all the beautiful blooms they stuffed in it! It was full, lush, and exactly what I requested. The bridesmaids' bouquets were also exactly how I envisioned them. Our arrangements were prefect, and Stephen dealt with my request of having three different arrangement types with ease and they came out perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend Stephen and his team.

The Bloom Room did a wonderful job with the flowers and centerpieces for the wedding. The consultation went really well, and they seemed to get what I wanted. I am active duty military, so it was difficult to get ahold of them because of the 5 hour time difference. I had asked for a few sketches of what the tables would look like since my mom was going to be helping supplement the centerpieces on half of the tables. I never got the sketches after asking from them a few times. My sister/MOH was able to help confirm some details with them, but it was always us doing the calling, never the other way around. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful (ivory roses with micro glitter and jewel pins provided by me). The hydrangeas were beautiful as well! Everything was micro glittered, which helped give that extra wintery feel to the wedding. The ballet braiding on the vases were not what was showed to me originally, and looked hurried. In the end, they did a good job, and I feel like had i been in Houston and able to have face-to-face follow on meetings, I think it would have been 5.0 perfect.

Kya is great to work with. I met with a lot of florists, and described what I wanted as far as decorations. I knew that she understood exactly what I wanted when she described the "feel" of the decor. I'm very picky and its hard to portray the visions in my head to a stranger. However, after my first meeting with Kya, I knew I could trust her to carry out the "feeling" I wanted with the decorations. She stayed close to my budget and offered different options to cut costs while still gettting the same effect. I didn't really like the fake candles and would have rather real votives but everything was still nice and beautiful despite that. Kya is great with design, and I would highly recommend her to all my friends.

I used Bloom Room for my wedding. They did a great job. Bouquets looked great - were my favorite part. They used some of my vases and candlesticks to make it just the way I wanted my decor and centerpieces. All the flowers we used were great. It was easy booking and working with them.

This is a case of you get what you pay for. They are cheaper than every other floral vendor we met with (we looked at 3), but again you get what you pay for. We paid $350 per large arrangement and asked for lots of roses and they had basically all hydrangeas (cheapest wedding flower out there) and a few roses. They were so tiny too! Not what I paid for. Every other vendor was going to give us $250 per large arrangement, which was much cheaper, but our vendor waived the delivery & setup fees, so we went with them. The one flower I told the vendor NOT to use was carnations (I HATE carnations) and instead of giving me the agreed upon burgundy ranunculus my bridal bouquet arrived with CARNATIONS in it. I literally had to pick the carnations out because it looked so horrible and didn't go together with the bouquet at all. I had to steal flowers from my bridesmaid bouquet because I had gaps where I had to take out the carnations. I wasn't happy with the bridesmaids bouquets either and actually showed them a photo of what they wanted and I still didn't get what I asked for. The non-floral decorations they provided were nice, but basically every single floral arrangement I was unhappy with and you could tell I cut corners with this vendor. We were way over budget and had to cut budget somewhere. If you don't care that much about flowers and don't have a big flower budget you're fine, but if you really love flowers then find someone else.

My bouquets for my wedding were phenomenal! They were exactly what I pictured--the size, color, flowers. I loved them!
My centerpieces and cake were not what I expected. I was shown a mock up of the centerpieces and when comparing them to what I really got, I did not get the flowers I was shown. My cake topper was not pretty. You could see the plastic sticking out. I wanted one flower and had a picture to go with it so they knew what to do.
I also did not receive my free throw away bouquet. I had to throw one of my bridesmaids bouquets for my toss.
I wish I would have worked with my ladies a little more because they are delightful. I would recommend using them as they are a small business and can really get you what you want. Just make sure you follow up with them for everything!

disappointing product and service

I am very disappointed with the Bloom Room and Stephen’s service. I delayed on writing this review since I wanted them to have a chance to address the issue with me, but it has been a few weeks since the wedding, and I have not gotten a response back from them.

During the planning process, Stephen and Kathy were very communicative about all the details. The invoice they prepared laid out the specific colors and flowers that would be used. They even requested reference photos of what we wanted and kept a printed copy of the photos in their files.

I’m not sure what went wrong, but they replaced the burgundy dahlias in my bridal bouquet (which was written explicitly in the invoice) with hot pink/fuschia peonies. It was definitely not our wedding color, and the contrast was very clear next to my bridesmaid bouquets and dresses. Not only that, but the arrangement looked nothing like the reference photo I provided. I’m very disappointed, especially given that it was a $190 bouquet. I even followed up the week of the wedding, confirming that everything was good to go for our day. I’d think that would be the perfect opportunity to mention that for whatever reason they did not have the burgundy dahlias.

There were a few other items that did not turn out correctly (groom’s boutonniere was ivory rather than blush, hot pink peonies were used on our cross arrangement, burgundy agonis foliage was not used in the table arrangements), but I’m focusing on the bridal bouquet because in my opinion, it’s the most important and most photographed piece of floral.

I visited several florists before deciding on the Bloom Room (floral was actually the vendor I spent the most time shopping around for). In the end, I chose the Bloom Room for the convenience of having a large wooden cross for our altar, which was a priority for us. However, I would have been better off going with any of the other florists I visited and finding an external cross rental.

The picture below was taken a few days after the wedding, so they are a bit wilted, but the color is accurate. I'm avoiding using our photographer's photos since editing has been applied to those. As you can see, definitely not burgundy...

I cannot speak to the actual quality of service, value or flexibility, as Stephen completed ghosted on me. After my original conversation with Stephen, I would have hoped that I could give a better review. Although full of ideas and pleasant on the phone, he completed disappeared when I tried to contact him about the wedding arrangements that we had so thoroughly discussed (and for which I had bought centerpiece items based off of our discussion). I emailed several times, left a voicemail and even spoke to his wife who said she would "place the folder on his desk." Never heard a peep. Would not recommend as a wedding vendor. Wedding planning is too stressful to deal with someone who disappears. In retrospect, thank goodness I didn't book with them, because who knows when they would have decided to fall off the face of the earth.
