Searching for a venue for one of the biggest days of your life is hard, it is a big decision. Let me tell you though - choosing the barns for our wedding was absolutely the best decision we could have made. The venue itself is beautiful, extremely well kept, and has options for both indoor and outdoor ceremony so you have zero stress the day of your wedding. On top of that, the staff is truly incredible. Kylie, the event manager/coordinator, was literally my saving grace. She helped me from the very start to the very end, without her I am not even sure I could have planned my wedding. She walks you through every step of the way! She is so organized, always on top of her game, efficient, responsive, thorough, and one of the nicest people I have met. She truly cares about you and making sure your vision is brought to life. Everything that a bride could want or need for her wedding. We got to work with the rest of the staff the weekend of our wedding and they all had no issue living up to the high bar Kylie set. We are so so thankful for this place and these people, we will cherish our day forever because of them! -

From the moment we first toured The Barns of Kanak, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The team made us feel instantly at home — warm, accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Booking with them was one of the best decisions we made!! The entire planning process was seamless thanks to their clear communication and quick responses.
They recommended incredible vendors who worked flawlessly with the venue, making coordination effortless. I especially want to highlight our phenomenal day-of coordinator, Emily Hartman. Words can't express how grateful I am for her professionalism, kindness, and calming presence throughout the process. She made me feel so special and took so much stress off my shoulders — I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her!
The wedding day itself was absolutely magical! Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the entire Barns of Kanak team went above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly how we envisioned it. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made our day perfect.

BOK was everything we could have asked for for our wedding venue! The staff, especially Delaney, were all amazing. Her being so hands on once we hit the 60 day mark made the entire process so much easier and she truly was a life saver. Everything about the day went as planned and it in part to the hard working and dedicated staff at BOK. This does not even account for how beautiful the property is, the pictures speak for themselves. We would highly recommend BOK for your wedding venue. -

Best Day Ever
I was blown away by the Barns of Kanak- everyone was so professional yet personable, and they made our wedding day absolutely seamless. The Barns of Kanak is the most incredible wedding venue EVER! Their staff are so communicative and accommodating to my husband and I's schedules, especially since we did not live within the area. The property is beautiful and even on a rainy and cold day, the staff ensured we stayed dry, warm, and had a beautiful wedding. The Barns even helped our wedding party out when the power went out in our hotel. Our coordinator, Stacie, was incredible!! She answered all of our questions and was in constant contact with us leading up to wedding day. Her and her assistant did an amazing job on wedding day, making sure we were sticking to schedule and keeping my husband and I stress-free. We could not recommend this venue enough, they are truly one of a kind and want their couples and their guests to have the most memorable and beautiful weddings. Highly, highly recommend. -

The Barns of Kanak is a beautiful venue. From the day we did our visit we knew this was the right venue for us. Everyone was so welcoming and made us feel like family. Everyone was so professional and the communication was outstanding. Rehearsal to arrival at the Farmhouse and Cottage was smooth. Delaney is an awesome coordinator and words cannot express how grateful we are. I was freaking out when I didn't know what to do when some of my wedding party could not be in attendance Delaney fixed it and made the wedding party walk look like it was planned that way. Delaney and crew made our day so seamless, beautiful and perfect. We enjoyed celebrating our special day at The Barns of Kanak!!!!! -

The Barns of Kanak will always hold such a special place in our hearts. My husband Brandon and I recently got married here on 11/11/2023.
From the moment I toured The Barns with Diane I knew that this was the venue I wanted to get married at. The feeling you get while walking through the property is indescribable. It is breathtakingly beautiful. The Barns of Kanak is rustic elegant and offers so much from both indoor/outdoor ceremony spaces, full access to decor barn, and a coordinator starting from 60 days out.
When we met Delaney at our 60 day out meeting I instantly knew that we would be in excellent hands. She and I share the same Type A personality which was an immediate vibe and connection!
Her communication with us and our vendors really made the rest of the planning process leading up to the wedding so seamless.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Delaney, Hope, and the rest of the staff at BOK took such great care of us and our guests. We did not have to worry about a single thing, and they handled the entire day with such grace. Tom and Diane stopped by during our reception to congratulate us which was extremely special. The biggest compliment I received from our guests was that "it felt like one big family and it was evident how much they care." We decided on the overnight stay at the Farmhouse which was the best decision ever. It was decorated for us with champagne and rose petals. Diane even delivered breakfast the next morning for us to enjoy. I 100% recommend The Barns of Kanak to any bride and groom who is in search of their perfect wedding venue. BOK Wedding
Where do I even begin!? I cannot say enough great things about the Barns of Kanak and all the staff. From the moment we toured the venue with Kylie I knew this is where I wanted my now husband & I to get married. The venue is absolutely BREATHTAKING and checked off all the boxes of what I wanted in a venue. There is a bridal house, groom’s house, decor to pick from, and most importantly a beautiful property. Thankfully the weather on our wedding day was perfect, so we were able to get married outside of the red barn. However, just incase the weather wasn’t the best, there is a beautiful covered metal barn which is such a relief to have a plan B and alleviated a lot of stress. My husbands parents live out of state and we reached out to BOK when they were coming to visit asking if we could bring them to see the venue & without hesitation Diane said absolutely and scheduled time that weekend for us to come by! We had the pleasure of having Delaney as our coordinator & I cannot say enough great things about her! She was always on top of everything! She guided us through everything we needed to do for the wedding & was always available for any questions we had & quick to respond. She always had a smile on her face & never made us feel like we were being a bother. During our 60 day meeting, she walked us through our timeline and connected with each of our vendors, which allowed us to truly enjoy planning our wedding and not stress about connecting with our vendors about all the little details as our wedding approached. I can honestly say that on our wedding day my husband & I did not feel one ounce of stress. Delaney & the BOK staff handled absolutely everything & allowed us to be fully present with our friends & family at our wedding. I seriously could go on & on about the Barns of Kanak. We truly cannot thank Kylie, Diane, Delaney, and all the BOK staff enough!! The Barns of Kanak will always be such a special place for my husband & I! -

I highly recommend The Barns of Kanak. We got married there May 2023 and our guests absolutely loved the look and feel of the entire venue. They have a selection of decor and signage that can be used for no additional cost, as well as offering a 60-day out coordinator to help with planning details. The staff were extremely polite and attentive throughout the day. Overall, a great experience for our wedding day. -

From the very beginning I knew we would choose this venue. Not only did I have a glowing review to go off of from a friend that got married there but from our very first email interaction with Kylie (she was reciprocating my email smiley faces and assuaging my nerves as a new bride planning a wedding) I could tell this venue really cares about people and want to help out any way they can. We toured many wedding venues but knew right after we met in person with Diane, Tom and Kylie that this was our dream venue. You feel like you are a part of the family when you talk to them. Delaney was our wedding coordinator leading up to the big day and then we got a surprise where Kylie came to help her out. These girls are literally SWEET BABY ANGELS!!! Not only did they answer any and every question I had (tons of emails from an anxious bride), they were always right there the day of to bustle my dress, pin my veil, making sure we always had a drink, dancing with us, making the most darling goody basket to take home at the end of the night and sooo many more things!!! My whole family commented on how doting and genuine the entire staff was. Everything went off without a hitch, on time and we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING because they were ON IT!! They really go above and beyond to make your day special. I could go on and on about how amazing these beautiful souls are. We could not have asked for a better experience all around. I don't even know where to begin with our experience at Barns of Kanak. First, the venue is gorgeous with its dreamy landscape and furnishings. They have a barn stocked full of trendy wedding décor, separate areas to get ready, tons of picture perfect locations, AND wedding coordinating options. However, the real gem at BOK is their OUTSTANDING staff. Delaney was a dream to work with in the year/months leading up to our wedding. She responded to all of my questions so quickly and with so much grace and sincerity. Going in to the process, I had very little vision of what I wanted my reception and ceremony to look like. Delaney took the time to talk it through and they somehow brought to life the most perfect day. The team did everything and anything to make sure the day went off without a hitch. Even our guests commented on the efficiency and attentiveness of the BOK crew. I didn’t even notice when we had to create an alternate plan due to high winds or that we had run out of cups for the bar. They took care of it all - every bride’s dream! I am so grateful we picked the Barns of Kanak for our venue. It is the perfect place to mark the beginning of the rest of our life together. -

To say that The Barns of Kanak is by far the most gorgeous wedding venue in Virginia is an understatement. My husband and I married at The Barns of Kanak in October 2021. From the moment that we stepped onto the property for our initial tour, we knew that The Barns was the perfect venue for us. We were welcomed by the most kind and welcoming staff that any bride could ever ask for. Their staff walked us through every detail leading up to the wedding day, as well as the wedding day itself. Their phenomenal coordination and advice went above and beyond what we could have ever expected in a venue’s team. It was pouring rain for most of our wedding day, which made the outdoor option impossible. However, one of the best features of The Barns of Kanak is that they not only offer an outdoor option in front of the Red Barn, but also an indoor option inside the metal barn. The Barns staff, especially Abby and Kylie, were extremely patient with me in making that tough decision to change to the metal barn the day of the wedding. They walked me through how it would change and even allowed me to view their setup before my groom arrived at the venue. Abby, Kylie, and all of The Barns staff made my dream wedding vision come true. It exceeded all of our expectations and more. The reception barn was absolutely stunning. It is perfect for a wedding theme of classic elegance, with the chandeliers, and a touch of rustic charm with the exposed wood beams. Words cannot express how thankful we are for The Barns of Kanak staff. Thank you for making our wedding day magical! To all those brides out there looking for a gorgeous venue, with the BEST staff, and a shed full of wedding décor that can be used on the wedding day, look no further than The Barns of Kanak in Prince George, Va. Where do I begin? I first found The Barns off of The Knot when looking for a venue. When emailing I found out there was going to be a vendor market so what better opportunity to go and check it out. To my surprise when arriving Kylie approached me and knew who I was, told me if I had any questions, to please let her know. She also offered me a tour if I wanted it. Keep in mind this was a market, 50+ guest were there, and she took the time out to find me and make me feel like home. From that day forward our experience just kept growing with love. I got the opportunity to work with Delaney and her team. She never once made me feel like I was asking too many questions. Come day of, I had no stress, I was relaxed and so ready for the day thanks to all of their preparation. 6 months prior My Dad fell ill to Liver Cancer and the day of the wedding he wasn't suppose to attend as he was still in ICU. Delaney approached me and told me not to worry, she wanted to offer me to come back at any time and take a photo shoot with Dad once he got better. However, my Dad passed shortly after getting married. The love, support, and thoughtfulness of this team continued to be there for my family and I as they sent me the most beautiful flowers as well as offering a memorial photo session. I will forever be grateful for everyone at this venue and they will always hold a special place in my heart. -

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue then look no farther! We could not have asked for a better experience even with delaying our wedding a whole year due to COVID. Every single member of the Barns team is exceptional! From our first virtual chat all the way up to our (very delayed due to COVID - from April 2020 to Sept 2021) wedding day, the Barns of Kanak team was exceptional. My husband and I live in Chicago and were looking to get married in VA. We actually booked the venue after a FaceTime tour and were so excited to see it in person a few weeks later and we were SO happy with our choice. Truly this family and their full team go above and beyond to make you feel so special throughout the process. We worked with Kylie primarily and she was absolutely AMAZING. We also were able to work with Abby as an intern and no surprise she is now full-time on the team! It was such a relief that the barns had a decor barn and catalog of things we could use on our special day - arches, signs, chargers and so many more perfect details. The best part of the whole experience, aside from the perfect wedding day, was having the 60-day out and day-of coordination. The coordination was SO unique compared to other venues we looked at and was so so so helpful. I honestly could not recommend this venue more. It’s beautiful, so well maintained and they really put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. The packages are beyond reasonable for everything you get when you choose the barns. Our dream wedding
This is was the very first venue we had toured - I had several others lined up for the weeks following but we were sold right away. We had the pleasure of working with Delaney and from the very beginning she was absolutely amazing, the venue is breath taking and so organized. Delaney went above and beyond for us and exceeded our expectations! Any stress I had she made it all go away, she was there whenever we needed her and made the day of stress free! If you have any uncertainties about whether the Barns of Kanak is the venue for you let me tell you that you don't need to look any further. My husband and I were looking for a venue that was versatile enough to handle a fusion Indian/American wedding and their team didn't blink an eye in accepting the challenge despite not hosting an Indian wedding before. They were excited to learn what was involved and always made us feel welcome, which was not the case at some of the other venues we considered. Our original wedding date was May 23, 2020. When the pandemic hit, their team was so accommodating and made the move to a different date (twice in our case) very easy and worry free. Kylie, Tom and Diane were all so lovely and friendly. They made the wedding planning process very special and stress free. Kylie went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day went off without a hitch (except for us, of course) and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location or more wonderful people to help us make it through our crazy packed wedding schedule. You can't go wrong choosing the Barns of Kanak for your wedding day. They bring so many special touches to your day. Our experience with the Barns of Kanak team was phenomenal! -

I know the past year and half have been so rough on the wedding industry but the Barns of Kanak knocked it out of the park! Event planning is not a strength of mine so it was so great to have them take care of all of the coordinating and day off duties. They kept on top of all of vendors and had great ideas on how we can stretch our money further! Their decor barn was a huge selling point too. I didn't have to stress about the logics of decorations. They have a fully stocked building of awesome decor. It is like a candy shop in there! They were such great people to work with and really made our wedding feel unique, special, and worry-free! They are so organized, personable, and the grounds are beautiful and perfectly laid out. I know they will be around for years to come! -

Having our wedding at the Barns of Kanak was the single greatest decision we made for our wedding. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Every time we were there the owners were working hard to keep everything looking incredibly beautiful. We wanted to do things differently from how The Barns usually does things – we didn’t want our ceremony in front of the barn, which is where virtually all the ceremonies are held, and we wanted to bring tons of florals/greenery into the barn which also hadn’t been done before. A lot of places have a rhythm of how they do things and don’t like to deviate since they have their way down to a science – that was not at all the case with the barns. Not only did they let us have our ceremony in an unconventional place and have our florist cover all the poles of the barn in greenery, they were SO excited about our ideas, which made us even more excited about our ideas! This venue provides so much more than a place to get married. The farmhouse to get ready in is incredibly spacious and beautiful. They also have a décor barn which is FULL of décor for you to use in your wedding that is all included! I am so bad at making decisions and weddings are FULL of decisions, having the décor barn was a godsend both in having way less decisions to make and for saving us money! I didn’t have to spend hours agonizing over which “Please sign our guestbook” sign to spend $40 on – the barns had a couple to choose from, making my decisions easier and it’s all included so I wasn’t stuck with a bunch of things I spent money on after the wedding. Saving the best for last, our coordinator Delaney was the single most incredible human we worked with during our wedding planning. She dealt with all the logistics, talked with all of our vendors beforehand so I wasn’t really involved in any of the logistical stuff – she did it all! And she of course has an incredible team, everyone we worked with at the barns was fabulous, but Delaney went above and beyond to make sure everything went according to plan and made our vision for our wedding come to life. We are beyond grateful for the entire Barns of Kanak team – you made our wedding special, stress-free, beautiful, and a day we will never forget! -

The Barns of Kanak - Great Venue
The Barns of Kanak should be your first choice for a wedding venue. It is a gorgeous setting with perfect backdrops for photos. The landscaping on the entire property is stunning. Several barns with rustic string lights add to the charming atmosphere. There is a farmhouse on the property just steps from the barns that can be used as a place to get ready the day of the wedding. It was so nice to have an entire house with a kitchen and makeup room available for us. Our wedding coordinator, Kylie, was amazing. She kept in contact with all the vendors to make sure the whole day ran smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything because she had it covered. The reception barn was perfect with barn doors on both ends which open up for an outdoor feel. Our wedding day was perfect because of Kylie and her team at the The Barns of Kanak. -

WOW is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of The Barns of Kanak. I truly feel so lucky to have found them for our intimate wedding celebration. From the moment that I started working with Kylie it was a 5 star experience! The grounds and buildings are absolutely gorgeous and it was so nice to have a place to get ready and multiple options for a ceremony site.
The team that was on hand for our wedding day was amazing! They were on top of every single detail and allowed us to just relax and enjoy the day. I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend them to any engaged couple! -

I cannot say enough about how amazing The Barns of Kanak is! The property is absolutely beautiful but it is the staff that truly make it the best venue of all. A month before our wedding (after planning all the fun stuff with our coordinator Delaney-who is AMAZING) the governor enforced the rule of gatherings of 25 people or less. The complete selflessness of the owners and the staff to do whatever it took to make our wedding day special despite the circumstances we faced, reassured David and I, that no matter what we would have our ideal wedding. If you are a bride looking for a venue, I promise you that this venue is the absolute best! The Barns has the cutest places for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready, a million photo opportunities around the venue, a beautiful reception hall but most importantly the people who run the place are the most selfless, kind, loving and supportive people you could ever work with. They call to check in, let you know that they are praying for you and they listen. This venue and ALL of the staff, truly demonstrate the love of Christ to their Brides and Grooms. When we started our wedding planning journey in July 2019 the world (and our plans) looked a little different. We were initially attracted to The Barns because it’s an insanely beautiful place to get married. What we quickly found was that it’s so much more than that. After touring several venues, we noticed that unlike the others, working with The Barns didn’t feel like a business transaction, but instead like the McCormick family and the rest of the staff was opening up their home to host our wedding. With every twist and turn that 2020 brought, we always felt like The Barns had our back and that we were in it together. We could not have had the wedding we did if not for their support, flexibility, understanding, and encouragement. Pandemic aside, The Barns provides excellent customer service, communication, and value. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. And now that it’s over, we miss our Barns team so much! -

Delaney and her team helped us host a wedding for 140 people in October. Covid-19 made this a challenging time but nothing seemed to frustrate or bother the Barns Team. They attend to every detail, particularly in the last month, but also encourage you to come to them with issues (during Covid there were a lot, as well as seating and safety changes) and "let them worry about it." We looked at many places initially and The Barns was slightly more but looking back it is worth every penny. A few of my favorite things were the specificity of the timeline (things I would never have thought of), the quality of the grounds, very few things are "added on" in the final bill, AND they seem to actually enjoy the work. In all the months leading up they worked hard and were gracious and then that night they still didn't seem "burned out" but happy to serve. It was truly a joy to host our wedding with them! -

Choosing The Barns of Kanak for our venue was the absolute best decision. We had no clue COVID was right around the corner when we chose our initial wedding date. From the start Kylie and The Barns of Kanak Family were SO helpful. The venue itself is a gorgeous farm that offers multiple ceremony and reception areas and barns for any season/all weather scenarios. Before COVID we were going to comfortably seat around 200 guests. Kylie helped us coordinate from the start and answered our many questions. Kylie and the barns team truly make you feel like you are part of the family. They focus on making your wedding day perfect. We are so glad we found them. It was the most PERFECT day (even though we had to change our date!) I could go on an on but a few wonderful amenities that we loved and stuck out to us were the Bridal Cottage, Vanity/Hair & Makeup Room, Pool, Groom's Cottage, Indoor & Outdoor Ceremony Location, Gorgeous Setting, help with coordinating/planning, Band Hookup, AC & Fans, On-Site Rentals & Decor, Bartenders/Staff, the list goes on! -

The Perfect Venue for Your Wedding!
You would be making a mistake if you didn't choose the barns for your wedding. This team is absolutely unmatched. Diane, Kylie, Tom and Delaney were just incredible. We met Diane and Kylie during our initial tour and just loved them so much we booked the venue the next day. A huge part of our decision was their team, and how they actually spoke to both of us and not just me (the bride) as a lot of other venues we toured completely ignored my fiancé now husband. The venue speaks for itself, they give you unlimited options on where you can have the ceremony and reception, have both a bridal farmhouse AND a space for the groom/groomsmen which isn't always the case at a lot of venues, and access to all of their decor to use during your day, and 2 day of coordinators. There's so much space to use and work with, every spot is perfect for photos! Planning with COVID really shook things up, but Kylie was so kind and stayed in step with us while we tried to decide if we wanted to postpone or keep our date. They were supportive and flexible to our decision making, and truly wanted what was best for us. The day of, Delaney could not have done a better job. She was so calm and kept us on track the entire day. Their team is just unbelievable, they truly give you the wedding day experience, just incredibly organized, coordinated and patient. I'm a very type A person, and had a very specific vision for our floral, Delaney and team made it happen exactly how I wanted. Overall you can just feel the love that this team has for making weddings special, they care so much to make every wedding incredible for each couple and will run with any idea you have to make it unique. They really make you feel like one of their own, and for that alone you should hire the Barns -

I honestly can not say enough amazing words for The Barns of Kanak. Tom and Diane are the SWEETEST! So loving, gracious, and caring. Their daughter Kylie was who I worked with and let me tell y’all, she saved me. She, just like her parents, is the kindest human and just so fun and bubbly! Any time I had a question or started to freak out I swear she could sense it and would email or text me! Every detail of my day was perfect, nothing went unhinged. Everyone of the staff was so helpful and kind! The scenery is to die for, so many amazing photography spots! If you chose this venue, you gain another family! -

As a bride who’s wedding was affected by the coronavirus, we had to postpone and opted to have a small ceremony at The Barns. I reached out to Kylie with very short notice and she was nothing but a helping hand throughout the entire process! The Barns has it ALL, whether you want to go all out or just have a simple ceremony, they can make it happen. I couldn’t have imagined a more special day on the most stunning property that my husband and I will forever cherish! -

The Barns of Kanak is the whole package! My mom and I drove up the driveway and that’s all it took. I fell in love with the place, and not to my surprise it just kept getting better! The staff is wonderful, Kylie took all the time the months leading up to our day to help make sure it was everything we had dreamed of. The team connected with every one of my vendors and coordinated arrival times, where everything went. When rehearsal time came, they were all there helping us set up, helping out with every little detail. It rained the day of our wedding they made sure the ceremony didn’t skip a beat. I had three umbrellas on me the whole time! Even when I left my bouquet at the house before we were announced Cooper ran there and back in time for me to have it for our announcement. Not only did my family fall in love with this place but so did my guest. So when I say they are the whole package, they are indeed! We can not thank them enough for everything they did! -

Amazing Venue
The Barns of Karnak is an incredible wedding venue space! They literally have everything you could possibly need all in one space. We got married 12/8/19 and we’re still able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony! However we had the indoor space available for our use if inclement weather. We had 150 guest who fit comfortably in the indoor reception barn. The reception barn is gorgeous with wood walls and ceilings, concrete floors, beautiful chandeliers, and huge bathrooms! The Barns of Kanak provided ample staff to assist with our day, all of which were friendly and available throughout the entire day. This venue is the perfect backdrop for all style weddings! We cannot thank Barns of Kanak enough for helping us with our special day! -

There truly are no words to adequate describe how highly I recommend this venue and the amazing people who run it. Our big day was everything I've ever dreamed of and so much more. We truly owe it all to the tireless work ethic and dedication possessed by Tom, Diane, Kylie and Delaney.
Tom and Diane are, without a doubt, the sweetest people you will ever meet. From the start, you will feel as though you have become a part of their family. The interest they have in your special day is genuine and they truly go out of their way to make sure every bride has the wedding of her dreams. They are the backbone of The Barns and you can instantly see how much pride they take in what they do.
Kylie and Delaney are absolute saints. Although I'm still not quite sure how I didn't drive them crazy with the slew of messages I sent to in the days leading up to our wedding, I will forever be thankful that they ALWAYS replied (nearly immediately, nonetheless) and eased any nerve or fear I ever had. Their attention to detail is second to none as they work passionately to ensure every part of your day is executed perfectly.
Tom, Diane, Kylie, Delaney and the entire Barns of Kanak team will always hold a special day in our heart. We fully believe that choosing The Barns as the place we began our life together will always be the best decision we could have made. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!! -

Man, where do I start? This venue was excellent on so many levels. The aesthetics, the venue's planners and day of coordinators, and all of the support staff--all of it came together to make the day special. Let me break it down further so you know what to expect if you book here:
-When you visit, you’ll see right away why this venue is so popular. The Barns of Kanak is an old working farm with a rich family history that’s been repurposed as a down-to-earth location made just for your special day. I loved the old, rustic feel, and I was impressed that they didn’t sacrifice any practical touches in keeping the venue visually pleasing. There was plenty of space to take bride/groom/family photos as well as plenty of room for guests. It was very comfortable for the 140 people we had present the day of.
-Kylie, the venue’s planner/timeline coordinator, was both helpful and empathetic. Every time she called, she was excited, attentive, and on top of things. She went to great lengths to coordinate with all of our other vendors so we didn’t have to worry about keeping tabs on everyone. Kylie came as a part of the venue, and she made every penny we paid worth it.
-Diane & Katherine, the Barn’s day-of coordinators, made our timeline come to life and managed all the logistics with ease. I felt completely comfortable leaving everything in their hands, and in retrospect, I realized they went above and beyond in tending to every little detail. Post wedding, we realized that all the stuff my wife and I thought we forgot or left behind was noticed and managed by these two ladies – tucked away safely in our exit vehicle. Very thankful.
-Along with that, there were several venue attendants available for everything: setup, parking, answering guest questions, assisting the bride and groom, bar tending, tear down, and even ensuring the wedding gifts made it into the proper vehicle. These staff members weren’t always seen, but again in hindsight, were much appreciated. As I think back, I realize how many people were on the flanks, prepared to handle anything we needed.
One last very significant benefit to note: the venue and all of its attendants are very versatile when it comes to accommodating for inclement weather. In having a December wedding, we knew we’d want to keep a close eye on the forecast. Part of the reason we picked the Barns is because they had space to hold the ceremony indoors if it couldn’t be done outdoors. And sure enough, it came in handy. It ended up raining, and it gave us a chance to see the venue shine. Every member of the staff seemed prepared for this. They had the bride’s head under an umbrella every step of the way, and there was still plenty of coverage for all the guests to enjoy the day without getting wet.
