Very well and supportive operation all around.

As a kid I dreamed about the perfect wedding when I grew up. With AJ, everything was better than perfect. She made my dreams come true. Me and my husband really appreciate everything she did to make sure we had an amazing wedding.

We absolutely love this venue and look forward to my daughter's wedding October 2018. They are so accommodating and happy to make her dream wedding a reality. So grateful we found them

My husband and I choose this venue for our daughter's wedding in August. The owner and her staff are amazing!! They went above and beyond for us and the bride and groom. The groom, groomsmen, and the dad's had fun playing on the pool table. The bride and bridesmaid had a beautiful room to get ready in. Everything was picture perfect. The barn is decorated to what ever your colors and taste are. Also, the inn to rent is gorgeous. The bride and bridesmaid stayed the night before the wedding. They had a wonderful time. The inn is decorated beautifully. There is so much charm here. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for someone who knows what they are doing, a beautiful setting, and is involved with their bride. They know it is about the bride!! I have major anxiety and this venue made everything a breeze for me. They took care of all of the planning. All I had to do is tell them my personality and what I liked and they took it from there. THEYRE AMAZING! The owners are the nicest people I've ever met. Love them and would suggest them to anyone! Thanks again for my happily ever after! - 7/22/17

Happily Ever After at The Barn is THE place to get married! Not only is this the most beautiful place for my wedding, the ladies I have worked with have been nothing short of AMAZING! They have worked so hard (and still are) to make my wedding more than I could ever have imagined! They have everything you will need! There is also soooo many options for pictures! I cannot wait for September!

My daughter's wedding is in 2 weeks. We're so very excited to have her wedding here. The ladies have helped us prepare and kept in contact if we needed help on ideas, etc. We're on countdown mode and couldn't be more pleased!

This place is spectacular!! Not only is it nestled at the foot of the Smoky Mountains, but it has a down home hospitable
feeling. Everyone there has a willingness to make your day everything & more. They go the extra mile on the most minute detail. If you desire it they will do it. A personal touch is on all aspects from 1st meeting until the last guest leaves the wedding. Nothing is too much for them, it is all about your special day & believe me it will be memorable for everyone. They do not pressure you or rush your decisions. I love that they personally make your flowers on site. No worries on you, they do it all. The best of the best, no question!!

This place is absolutely gorgeous ! The barn , the fireplace, the pictures , the decor , the setting .... I could go on and on . The owners are very helpful and sweet . They think of every single little detail. They help to make your wedding unique and special . They really make your dreams come true ! Walking into Happily Ever After I truly feel like I walked into a page out of a magazine ! My friends and family all talk about how beautiful it was and it will always hold the most special place in my heart !

My wedding is this coming May, and the ladies at the Barn have helped me SO much more than they've had to! If I have a question, they immediately have an answer, they work with you and your schedule, and help plan every single detail to make your big day PERFECT. The site is gorgeous! it's quiet, quaint and secluded so that you don't hear cars or have any distractions. The decorations are incredible as well. Theresa (the wedding planner) knows exactly what she's doing, and will take all of the weight of planning and scheduling off your shoulders. Stephanie (The owner) is genuinely one of the sweetest, most giving people I have ever met with the best family. Tammy (The florist and Stephanie's mom) is so incredibly talented! They have all helped me way more than I ever could've asked, and I honestly couldn't ask for a better venue with the best employees and pricing available!

If I had to do my wedding day over, I would never change a thing. The ladies at the barn are so helpful and will literally do anything you need from them. At one point one of them left, went to food city, and bought brownies for a flower girl meltdown. I mean what more could you possible want? The ladies were so helpful. Theresa was honestly just a text away and she would then begin helping me through problems and meltdowns! I wouldn't recommend anyone else. They are a literal bang for the buck!

This is the most beautiful place to have a wedding! My daughter was married here over a year ago and it was amazing. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful not only the venue but everyone who will work with you on your special day.

It's a wedding vendor myself, (photographer) I love the happily ever after barn. There's plenty of great spots to make great photos because the whole place is beautiful! Also, the staff there are friendly and I highly recommend the location.

Colby was great he went out of his way to make our wedding day beautiful. Do to rain I couldn’t have the ceremony outside the way we had planned but Colby made the inside ceremony so beautiful. We had an amazing time.

My wedding was absolutely beautiful. I truly credit that to my amazing friends and family, and outside vendors who helped keep the day on track and magical. The property is beautiful and was beautifully decorated. I think the Decor Closet and bartending services is worth the extra purchases. However, outsource for everything else. I don’t suggest using this place for vendor management, day of coordination, or wedding planning services.

It was 11 month from signing my contract to wedding date and I had three coordinators/venue managers during that time due to the high turnover with the company that owns the barn.

I signed for venue rental, decor closet, and full wedding planning services in March of 2023. The first wedding planner/venue manager left in July but I wasn’t’ told until a month later, August, after I reached out due to emails bouncing back. I was asked to give them time since they were catching up with weddings. I didn’t hear back until a month later, and then, did not meet with anyone until the end of October.

From March to October, I had paid for full wedding planning services and no one assisted with budgeting, vendor management and recommendations, decor style, or etc. By this point, I just researched independently and found all my vendors myself. (I am SO glad it worked out this way b/c I couldn’t imagine the mess I would be in if I trusted the Barn to ensure things got paid/booked & were communicated with to vendors). They did fulfill my request for a refund for wedding planning services. I reach out in late December (since we are 60 days away). After emails bouncing back again, I reached out and directly asked, “Did the coordinator quit?”. I was told they did. At this point, the Barn was still responsible for day of coordination, full decorations, and bartending services, and no one knows what is happening with my wedding. My vendors were asking for a timeline and one hadn’t been created yet. Finally, 30 days before my wedding, I meet to finalize everything, which was more of me telling everything that was already planned since I got with my photographer to assist with timeline and I got very organized.

Again, the property was beautiful and beautifully decorated but coordinating and wedding planning services were a nightmare. After many fail attempts to trust the Barn with wedding planning services and vendor management, I am fortunate they agreed to refund me for full wedding planning services since I ended up doing all the wedding planning myself.

However, I still had day of coordination services. Only one of vendors were called. I ensured they all showed up. My photographer created the timeline. I created my ceremony outline with the help of my pastor. My pastor ran the rehearsal. My ceremony started late and my photography helped keep things moving. Then, my DJ stepped up to keep things on track for the reception. I stayed organized by creating a Google document with all the wedding details that I shared with all my vendors since there was no communication from my coordinator, except for the cake vendor (?). None of my vendors were given a timeline from the coordinator. I distributed the one my photographer made.

I had a cordial relationship with all the coordinators and think they were amicable to work with, so I don’t place fault being solely on one coordinator.

However, if it wasn’t for me having great vendors who stepped up, family assisting, and myself being very organized, my wedding would have not ran as smoothly as it did. While my wedding was an absolute dream, you don’t just buy into the the wedding day, you buy into the experience of planning your wedding. I wish I would have saved myself many headaches during the wedding planning process by outsourcing, versus adding on additional services the Barn couldn’t fulfill.

I highly recommend only hiring the Barn for event rental space. It is a beautiful property, but out source for everything else.
