I can't say enough good things about The Barn at Faith Farms. Marissa was so sweet and helpful from the very beginning and really helped me get through the stress of beginning wedding planning with her recommendations for vendors/planners/etc. The venue itself is so beautiful and everything I wanted for my wedding. The mixed indoor/outdoor setting makes it perfect for any season or weather. We stayed on-site the night before and having access to both a bridal suite and groom's cottage made things so convenient for the day of. Our expectations were exceeded above what we could have imagined! The Barn at Faith Farms, The Shamblin Family and the crew were amazing! Paying attention to every detail and always ready to answer any questions. Jacqueline Trae was our wedding coordinator and she is top notch! We also used Tanner Coats DJ service, Two Dudes as our catering, Ginger Sumerlin was our AhhhhMazing photographer and Dayton Flower Box as our florist and bonus was Bustin our buds who lovingly created our mantel piece!
The whole venue is wonderfully taken care of and it

Love the barn at Faith farms
We are so happy with our experience at the barn at faith farms. We chose this venue for our daughter’s wedding and couldn’t have been happier with everyone there. The vendors to choose from were top notch. The professionalism was outstanding and there was always a quick response with communication. Choosing The Barn at Faith Farms for our wedding was the best decision we made! From the very beginning, the venue completely blew us away — it's absolutely stunning, perfectly maintained, and offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance. Every single detail of the property is picture-perfect, and it provided such a beautiful, welcoming backdrop for the most important day of our lives.
We can't say enough about Jacqueline Traer, our incredible wedding coordinator. Jacqueline went above and beyond every step of the way, making the entire planning process seamless and stress-free. She is organized, attentive, and truly cares about each couple’s vision. Her calming presence, creative ideas, and problem-solving skills made our day absolutely flawless. I genuinely don't know what we would have done without her — she is a true gem!
Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how smoothly the day went. We are forever grateful to The Barn at Faith Farms and especially to Jacqueline for making our dream wedding come true. If you're looking for a venue that will take your breath away and a coordinator who will feel like your best friend and biggest supporter, this is the place!

I wouldn’t change a thing about my daughter’s wedding day at The Barn at Faith Farms! The facilities are perfect and the staff extremely helpful! Our coordinator Shannon was the absolute best!! She communicated with us multiple times throughout the planning process making sure we were on track, and come wedding weekend everything ran so smoothly that I’m still just amazed! Every time I think about it, I just start smiling!! So many friends have commented how perfect the venue and the whole day was! Absolutely perfect day!! 10/10!!!!!!!!The Barn at Faith Farms's reply:

We had the all inclusive package which I would highly recommend. We are from out of town so it was nice not having to worry so much about alot of the small details. The vendors were all awesome! We used Front Porch Cantering which was out of this world! Dj Mark was awesome and kept the party going and had everyone out on the dance floor. But by far our wedding coordinator Jacqueline blew it out of the water. She took time during the process to sit down and meet with us and help with the decision process. The most beautiful place to get married!
Everything was easy from the start! We got our coordinator through the venue with the all inclusive package. The planning was a breeze thanks to Shannon. The venue is gorgeous and well taken care of. I really can’t say enough for how amazing this venue is! Marissa is so sweet and amazing and absolutely done whatever she could to make sure we had the best day possible! The venue is so beautiful and the staff are amazing and so helpful. Our coordinator Jacqueline that we hired through the venue is the absolute best. She handled everything, worked so hard for me and so well with my many many sisters. She made my day so unforgettable! I did not have to worry about anything day of! So to start out, I had tours scheduled at around 10 venues. The Barn at Faith Farms was my 2nd tour and we absolutely fell in love!!!! They didn’t have the date we originally wanted but opened Labor Day weekend up just for us to be able to have a date closer to what we originally wanted. They are the nicest people I’ve ever met and everything you would want in a venue. They give you recommendations on whatever you may need and are always very responsive. You also get a wedding day of coordinator and my girl was Tonya!!! She helped put so much with everything and our getaway car was actually hers 🥰
We absolutely love this venue + hosts and staff and we would recommend this venue to any and every recently engaged couple out there!!

Best Day Ever!
David and I knew as soon as we toured the barn that it was the perfect place for our wedding. The Barn at Faith Farms is an incredibly beautiful and intimate place. Marissa was extremely kind, helpful, and responsive. We emailed back and forth, and she always got back to me so quickly. Tonya was our day of coordinator, and she is simply the BEST! She is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. She made our wedding run smooth so we could enjoy our day. David and I often talk about how our wedding couldn't have been better. They work really hard to make that venue special and it shows! -

Couldn't have dreamed of a better experience! The Barn at Faith Farms is the perfect place. Not only will your wedding be so beautiful and dreamy, but you will work with some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. The place is gorgeous as is without any extra details. They offer an all inclusive package which makes planning your wedding so organized and much easier! The staff is so kind and accommodating and will make your wedding run so smoothly. The layout of the venue is perfect, so big and open and you don't have to worry about rainy weather because everything is covered. Simple said, 5 stars is not enough for The Barn at Faith Farms and its team! The venue itself is amazingly gorgeous and probably one of the most beautiful spots in Athens, TN to get married. All of our guests were impressed and have continually complimented what a beautiful location and wedding we had. Tonya was incredibly helpful keeping us on task. Shawn was an awesome bartender! Everyone was so incredibly intentional from start to finish to make sure our day ran smoothly and we only worried about walking down that aisle. Every single detail was handled with incredible care!! breathtaking venue with amazing people to work with
The Barn at Faith Farms is not only one of the most beautiful places to get married, but the owners were the absolute BEST!! I mainly worked with Marissa, who is by far the sweetest lady ever! My wedding was apart of the Covid-19 pandemic, and I had to postpone my wedding 3 times! Marissa, was right there through the whole thing, constantly checking on me and updating me on dates available. She made a hard, stressful process so easy especially during such an uncertain time. Marrisa was so helpful and easy to work with it. Their venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for any size wedding! And multiple ceremony options but the fire place is beautiful! I was able to decorate the venue and bring my vision to life with their help. They also helped a lot by having a package to include linens and center pieces. There aren’t enough nice words to say about The Barn at Faith Farms! It was the first venue my husband and I toured and we immediately fell in love! The Barn at Faith Farms is just stunning! Our daughter’s wedding there was absolutely a dream. From the beautiful landscape and rustic, but elegant settings, and the many options for the ceremony, to the bridal and groomsmen quarters being conveniently on the property, all were perfect. We also were able to have her engagementment photos and rehearsal dinner there making for an even better experience. Every detail was gorgeous and well thought out. James and Marissa were very informative and so so kind. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, even going out the day of the wedding to get additional items I had overlooked. James and Marissa are some of the kindest people I have ever met. They truly care about making your wedding day as special as you hope it will be.
The bridal dressing area is beautiful with plenty of room. The living room, kitchen, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms (with plenty of mirrors) make this area perfect. The groom and groomsmen also have a a house available to rent. Several bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, and living room with a television make a perfect man cave.
Inside the barn there is a spacious area with lights, draping, and rustic chandeliers. It is a perfect reception area. At the back of the barn you walk into a covered porch area with an incredible fireplace. My daughter chose this area for her ceremony. There is also an outside ceremony space under a huge tree, it is a gorgeous back drop for a ceremony.
Marissa and James, thank you for your help in making my daughter’s day perfect! Your venue is not only beautiful it is also well thought out for the wedding party, vendors, and guests.

The Barn at Faith Farms was just wonderful. The place was gorgeous and very resonable. The owners were very easy to work with, kept us infomed at all times, and answered any questions we had in a timely matter. They also had many extras that we rented the day of the wedding, which made things easy for us. We live in Knoxville but chose to drive to Athens, TN because of this beautiful venue. We had 255 guests and it fit us both inside for the reeption and outside for the ceremony very comfortably. You will not be disappoinnted.The Barn at Faith Farms's reply:

We feel sooo lucky to have branched out of Knoxville to find The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens,TN! (not a bad drive AT ALL-only around 50 min) Everything was perfect. They let us visit the property multiple times before the big day so that we had every bit of information and could envision our day. The owners, Marissa and James, are the kindest and most hard working people. They ease all the stress of the big day and were a huge help in finding all of our amazing vendors. Their locations has all the options- inside, outside, or outside but covered. You are safe for any weather and every single setting is breathtaking. I don't even have words to describe our experience at The Barn at Faith Farms. From the moment I emailed James & Marissa, I knew that this was a special place. They do this because they truly love it and that is so evident when you talk to them and visit their venue. The very first wedding in the barn was theirs and you can actually feel the love while you're there. All throughout the planning process, when I told people my venue, they immediately started singing James' and Marissa's praises. I heard nothing but amazing things about them from everyone I worked with. We had our small wedding here and even though it can hold a lot more people, James & Marissa helped me rearrange the furniture and they made it seem to intimate. They were hands on all weekend and willing to jump in and help with anything that was needed. They even opened the barn doors for me as I got ready to walk down the aisle. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and I was in full agreement. It was a magical day, more perfect than I ever could've dreamed, and I absolutely recommend getting married here. I am almost in tears writing this because it really was that amazing. The venue is beautiful but the people who own it are even better. They also are constantly adding to it and making it more and more beautiful (if that's even possible!). December Wedding
James and Marissa are THE best! You can tell from your first visit to the barn that they are going to give their all to make sure your wedding is beautiful and stress free. There's no mountain they won't climb and no problem they're not willing to help you find a solution for. We were the first couple to get married at the fireplace after dark, and they took care of adding additional lights for us so we could have our ceremony just the way we pictured it. They are so kind and so helpful and accommodating, even when Marissa had to do meetings with the (most adorable) baby strapped to her chest. The barn and the field both have so many beautiful spots for photos and the ceremony. I can't say enough about how hard they worked to make sure we didn't have to, and I'm not convinced that they didn't have some special magic that gave us the most beautiful sunny day surrounded by a week of rain. You can tell that this is truly a labor of love by James & Marissa, & I can't recommend them & their venue highly enough!The Barn at Faith Farms's reply:

Best venue!
The value for the all inclusive package was worth it. At first it felt like a lot but it was worth it. They have so many decorations to choose from and locations for the ceremony. Jacqueline is the best planner ever. She was so helpful and responsive during the thing. She helped get a version to live. We stayed insite for the day before. The suites were great. I will say the bridal suite needs curtains or something on the front doors. A bit creepy at night.The Barn at Faith Farms's reply:

Outstanding Venue
Beautiful place for a wedding, especially the outdoor space under the tree! The owners and staff were amazing. They took care of every detail, with a smile and willing to do whatever was needed. Jacqueline Traer, the wedding coordinator, was a joy to work with. She was eager to execute the details and was flexible when decisions had to be made. You definitely want to have a wedding here! Marissa and James are wonderful people and are constantly updating their venue to make it more and more beautiful every day. From the time I booked to the time I got married (a little over a year), they added on the covered fireplace, a garden with a walkway, and a gazebo. The Barn has a classic and vintage style I love, and the fireplace they built is gorgeous.
In addition, Marissa was extremely helpful in answering all my questions throughout the planning process and during the day before and day of the wedding. Tonya was also helpful during our wedding weekend with organizing and some coordination which we greatly appreciate!
My husband and I love this venue and the people running it and were so happy to get married there. We didn’t have an official coordinator, but everything still went smoothly overall with their help. We are so appreciative. Anyone would be blessed to get married here!The Barn at Faith Farms's reply:
