Ruth and her employees did an amazing job on my wedding day! They set everything up and even gave me suggestions on where to put all the decorations I brought! They cleaned up everything as well. The food was delicious! Also she provided a vendor list, which helped me pick all my vendors! I highly recommend going to The Barn at Boone’s Dam for your special day!

The Perfect Place!
My husband and I could not have had a better experience at the Barn at Boones Dam. We have been to both my sisters and sister-in-laws weddings here, and never once had a poor experience. Ruth made sure our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish, and Pat’s cooking had our guests going back for thirds. Our friends and family raved about the venue and how accommodating the space and staff were. We ended the night dancing outside, and could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our love!!

Perfect Venue ✨
My husband and I had a perfect wedding at the Barn at Boones Dam. We booked this venue two years out. Our family and friends loved how accommodating the venue is. We had gorgeous weather during the day for the ceremony and dinner. We enjoyed our evening dancing inside of the barn along with dessert. The pizza truck is a beautiful essential to the property. Pat is an amazing cook and everyone LOVED the food. Ruth is so sweet and honest. She helped with so many details. Communication and services 10/10!!! We are still in awe of our wedding and can’t wait to be back in the summer for my brother’s and future sister-in- laws wedding!

My husband and I had a beautiful fall wedding at the Barn, I’m really a details and decisions person but Ruth (owner) was incredible, she really knows how to capture the vision you are looking for! she is so easy going and flexible! She is overall an amazing person, she has the venue decorated and themed with the seasons! Patrick (chef) is an amazing cook and chef and person as well! He has so so many options and will always make sure everyone is taken care of with special diets and preferences!! This venue is an incredible value and the package deal of Ruth and Patrick is PERFECTION! A beautiful place - owner by even better people!

Beautiful Wedding Day!
Ruth and her entire team at the Barn at Boone’s Dam made our wedding day what we imagined and more! Ruth is truly amazing, from all the emails and sit down meetings, helping us decide what the best and latest trends were, to the day of, sending the bridesmaids off down the aisle and keeping the groomsmen out of trouble! Not a Hitch while getting Hitched!

11/4/23 Bride here! We had our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding ceremony and reception all at the venue location and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodation's and overall outcome of all events! The owner Ruth and her husband are not only both chefs, but Ruth was awesome to work with, especially if you appreciate someone who is able to keep the show running smoothly while the Bride slightly delays the ceremony due to a small panic attack! Her and the staff took incredible care of myself/Groom, both Bride/Groom parties and all of the guests through all 3 events! Planning was a breeze and she truly makes your vision come to life! The best part about this venue is that it’s already gorgeous as is, and we felt that we did not have to focus heavily on additional decor; Ruth worked with us closely to ensure our theme and colors perfectly tied together with the natural beauty of the venue; I felt so comfortable with Ruth that I gave her full reigns on any additional decor we brought, for her to place where it looked best, and she delivered flawlessly. We continue to received tons of compliments on the food, dessert, venue, overall service and more! Highly recommend as a venue that adapts to all your needs and brings your vision to life!

Ruth and the whole team at Barn at Boone’s Dam were amazing! Whether is was deciding what wedding package to get, to keeping the Groomsmen on their best behavior, Ruth was open and willing to make all our wishes come true. Of course, my favorite part of the whole experience was the food! From appetizers to the cupcakes, we could not have been more pleased. The very very best part was the service between ceremony and reception. While our guests enjoyed cocktail hour, and we took pictures, Ruth’s staff made sure our bridal suite was filled with appetizers and drinks, truly making this the BEST DAY EVER. We toured 28 venues before picking and this one has the most character, inclusivity, and options by far. Easy decision that we're happy with and grateful for. Ruth was wonderful and so helpful. Beautiful venue with amazing staff
I highly recommend The Barn at Boone's Dam! It was so nice to have indoor & outdoor space for our wedding, all at the same location! Ruth was so patient, organized & had great recommendations for other local vendors, which was super helpful since we weren't from the area. They had so many different food options, which allowed us to put together options for everyone to enjoy. The open house held in the spring to try the food & cake, see the decorations, and meet various vendors was also great! The day of our wedding went so smooth! Ruth and her staff were so efficient, polite and just amazing. Our guests had nothing negative to say about the venue and staff. It was an amazing time and everything was set up beautifully! For everything that was included and taken care of, the cost seemed too good to be true.

A wonderful venue with amazing owners and staff
The first day we went to view the venue we immediately knew it was where we wanted to get married. Ruth made every step of planning feel super easy and light and the whole place is absolutely gorgeous. The food is amazing, my guests could not stop talking about it and Ruth goes above and beyond to make sure there’s nothing to worry about on your big day but being your happiest and having the best time possible. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful and assisted in making sure everything was perfect. We can’t thank them enough, they truly gave us the perfect wedding day!

Excellent Stress Free Wedding Venue!
I picked The Barn at Boones Dam for my wedding venue because they take care of almost everything for you. No worrying about decorations or rentals, Ruth has all that covered. She has multiple great packages that include catering, linens, tables, chairs, decorations, bar service, and a lot more! Working with Ruth was super easy. She replied quick to all my emails. She hosts a spring open house for brides to see linens and table decorations in person and taste some of the food options on her menu, which was very helpful with planning. She was also very flexible when I changed my mind on things and kept a detailed and updated plan of the wedding day that she would send to me whenever I made a change. The day of the wedding ran smooth thanks to Ruth and her staff. My guests loved the venue and had such a great time. I got so many compliments from guests on how beautiful and well decorated the venue was and how great the food was. The ceremony to cocktail hour to reception flowed beautifully. You can tell Ruth has years of experience, I couldn't have planned a wedding without her. I highly recommend The Barn at Boones Dam to anyone!

Ruth and the entire staff at the Barn at Boones Dam go out of their way to make sure your day is perfect. They are hands down one of the best venues in the northeast/ central PA area. The outdoor area is perfect for phots and they’re able to accommodate really any request. Ruth was extra helpful through out the entire process and was always available for questions if needed. Our friends and family are still talking about the food and service months later. If we could go back and do it all over again we would pick the Barn at Boones Dam every time!

I planned this wedding from NY. I went to Pennsylvania once to meet the owner, Ruth. She sat down with us and explained everything from beginning to end. Whatever you think is your fairytale wedding, Barn Boones Dam will EXCEED your expectations! Ruth kept in constant communication with me, easing my anxiety. The venue was romantic and the staff was amazing! Whenever I had a question about some thing in the area, she provided a vendor list. Ruth single-handedly made my wedding beautiful by all of her personal touches like specialty drinks, signs, etc. We had chicken, salmon and steak and our guest are still talking about the food. We had a wedding cake but chose cupcakes so people could have a variety of flavors. There is not one thing that I can say should have been improved except we should’ve made the wedding a whole day event to enjoy the beautiful grounds and scenery.

Our wedding venue, food, professionalism, and staffing went above and beyond our expectations during this difficult time of Covid. Our original wedding date was canceled due to COVID-19. We were going to postpone to next year but due to the brides father having cancer we felt it best to move it up. Dream wedding come true
Thanks to Ruth and her staff at the Barn at Boone’s Dam, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. When the pandemic hit, we ended up having to postpone our wedding from June 13 to September 5th, and Ruth worked with us and stayed in contact with us every step of the way. The venue is gorgeous, inside and out, and their food is absolutely incredible. The mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shots are a must have!!! We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day went and are so grateful we chose the Barn at Boone’s Dam for our special day!

From the start, Ruth was very responsive and easy to work with, and she was genuinely interested in our requests and satisfaction, even in the earliest stages. She was always prompt with answering emails, and she kept us updated with deadlines and changes that we made. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, she seamlessly guided us along with reminders and coordination of details. The food for the ceremony was equally incredible, and wait staff was very responsive and pleasant. Every detail about our wedding was flawless, but we think Ruth's ability to coordinate and walk us through everything, as well as her wonderful customer service, was what really made this whole experience incredible. Without reservation, we would 100% recommend Ruth and Susquehanna Chef to anyone getting married in Central Pennsylvania.

Simply perfect!
Our wedding was absolutely perfect from the time we arrived to the venue until the last dance. Ruth made planning so easy, I really can't imagine planning a wedding without her help! Ruth was very flexible with us and really helped guide us through the whole process. The staff at the barn was amazing and the venue itself is really something special. We are really fortunate to have had our wedding at the barn because ourselves, and our guests, now have memories that will last a lifetime!

Amazing, caring and supportive!
So helpful with everything leading up to the day and the day of our wedding. Catered to my husband and I as well as the entire bridal party to make it as easy and relaxed as possible. The order of the night flowed perfectly and the outdoor porch and yard were a huge hit for everyone. Lastly the food was amazing!

Perfect venue with everything included!
The Barn at Boone's Dam is the perfect wedding venue. Ruth, the owner, is wonderful to work with. She is accommodating to requests and works hard to make sure that your wedding day is perfect. Having the food, cake, bar service, linens, and even some decorations included made planning the wedding as easy as possible. Ruth even took the time to make custom signs for the dessert table, bar, etc. that matched the colors and overall theme of our wedding. Her staff was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this venue for your big day- ours couldn't have been more perfect.

Beautiful Venue, Helpful Staff
Ruth and her staff were very responsive and attentive to the details planned for our ceremony and reception. Their reception packages offer a wide variety of food options to suit small weddings as well as larger ones. We added a "late night" breakfast sandwich station to send our guests home with an extra treat!
The barn and grounds are beautiful; which can enhanced with additional flowers & decorations, or left simple, as we did. Having the ceremony on the grounds made it easier for transitioning to cocktail hour, and gave us a beautiful backdrop for our photos.
I would highly recommend this venue and Ruth!

We had our wedding at The Barn at Boone's Dam last week and it was the perfect venue. Ruth and her staff took care of us every step of the way, providing inspiration and advice when we needed it. The grounds and the building are beautiful, the food was great, and everyone who worked with us was professional and courteous. I had the pleasure of working with Melody and the staff at Boone's Dam for our recent nuptials. From the very beginning, Mel was so approachable and professional. She gives honest opinions backed by experience and knowledge of the business. She was available to answer all our (well, mine!) questions and was willing to meet with us at any point of our planning. She was very flexible and willing to work with our requests and "wish list" items. It was an absolute pleasure working with her...truly a seasoned professional who helped our vision come to reality. The barn itself was gorgeous and we had many comments from guests about how much they loved the venue and wish they had been married there. Everything was very well thought out. Our food received rave reviews from guests as well. We even got the opportunity to try it ourselves! The staff cater especially to the couple, as we were provided and literally served items from our cocktail hour and dinner stations. I could go on and on about how pleased both we and our guests were with the venue, food, service and quality, but it's hard to do the Barn justice without experiencing it for yourself. Definitely seek out the Barn; they are flexible, professional and work with you to make your wedding your own. We are incredibly pleased with our experience there.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience working with Ruth and the team at The Barn at Boones Dam! After meeting with Ruth, my husband and I realized we had no concerns. Our stress levels went down because we could tell Ruth knew what she was doing. Her attention to detail and her genuine desire to make everyone's wedding day special were apparent. Ruth was excellent at making suggestions and worked with us to ensure our visions were met while still keeping things running smoothly.
The food was absolutely delicious! We had several people tell us how wonderful the food was at the wedding-- and it's still one of the comments people make even weeks later. The service was impeccable. Dishes were cleared quickly and and the servers were helpful but unobtrusive.
Because the catering and venue are combined, you don't have the headache of dealing with too many vendors. All we needed were a DJ and photographer--- so much easier to organize!
Our day went exactly how we wanted. I have heard stories from other couples about the things that went wrong but I can honestly say that our wedding was perfect. I know this is due in a large part to the staff at The Barn at Boones Dam. Several of our guests have commented on the beautiful venue, the delicious food, and the wonderful service. I highly recommend!

Melody of Susquehanna Chef went above and beyond when it came to my wedding. She gave me sage advice on a wide range of topics like food and decor, and she recommended stellar vendors. But the outstanding part was where she found me a bartender three days before my wedding because the one I had prior fell through. I cannot begin to image the work she put in in order to make my day come together. On top of all of this, my guests are still complimenting my husband and I on the food two weeks later! Susquehanna Chef will always have my high praise!

I HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking for a rustic wedding. The value was reasonable and the services were incredible. The staff set up and broke down all of my wedding decor, not to mention they provided their own decor which complimented my wedding free of charge (chalkboards, whiteboards, lanterns above dance floor in our wedding colors, ceremony and reception signage, etc). Ruth was extremely well organized and had a specific timeline of when various selections and payments needed to be made. She assisted me with choosing my linens months prior and communicated often with me via e-mail, always prompt to answer any of my questions. On the day of the wedding, she ensured that the timeline for the day was smooth. The food and cake was delicious and the staff even packed us trays of food to take with us after the wedding. One setback with having a August wedding was the heat, and despite the barn having air conditioning and fans, it was still warm inside with 100 guests. All in all, the venue is absolutely beautiful and we were very pleased with everything. Our wedding was memorable and perfect and words can't express how thankful I am for Ruth and all of her staff for taking such great care of us. You will absolutely not regret choosing the Barn at Boone's Dam for your wedding.

The Barn at Boones Dam was, by far, the best decision that my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. Melody was so knowledgeable and personable, putting us at ease right away. She kept us on track all year and fielded all kinds of questions throughout, always prompt and thorough. I especially appreciated how when I asked her opinion, she shared her thoughts, but never made me feel like she was telling me what to do. She presented the options and provided her expertise, which was always so helpful for me. I know that she works with tons of couples (especially during wedding season), but you would have no idea with how dedicated she was to our wedding and always remembered very specific details we had talked about. By the wedding day, I felt so confident in the staff at the Barn that I was able to truly relax and enjoy the day. Everything ran so smoothly and we have received endless compliments about the appetizers, meal, and cake! Our guests loved the venue and the fact that they had the option of spending time in different areas, such as the deck. Throughout the reception, the staff was attentive to the guests’ needs, but never intrusive or underfoot. We are so glad that we had our wedding at The Barn at Boones Dam and will definitely recommend it in the future!

Working with Ruth and her team at The Barn At Boone's Dam was an absolute dream. After searching for a wedding venue and visiting about 9 other places, we finally made it to see The Barn. We immediately fell in love with the beauty of the venue...but what sold us even more was the owner Ruth. I am an extremely type A control freak, but believe it or not I was completely (eventually, at least) able to let go of control and thoroughly enjoy our wedding day because of the trust I had in Ruth and because of the relationship we were able to built over the planning process. Without a doubt, I would 1000000000% recommend hosting your wedding or next event with Ruth and her team at The Barn At Boone's Dam. Our guests (over 2 weeks later) have still not stopped raving about the wonderful time they had. Oh, and I can't forget the food! The food was THE BEST food we've ever had at a wedding...and that's not even just our opinion, our guests felt the same! I can go on and on, but at the end of the day...if you are considering The Barn at Boone's Dam, DO IT!!!

My husband and I are still in awe of what an amazing wedding day we had because of our wonderful experience at The Barn at Boones Dam. The venue is so beautiful, the barn itself and all of the surrounding grounds make for a stunning wedding. Ruth and her staff are very knowledgeable and efficient which made for a stress free day. Ruth most definitely knows her stuff, she offered wonderful advice and truly has a talent for planning and design. The food was also excellent, our guests were very pleased with the quality and variety of selections. I worked with Ruth (owner of Susquehanna chef and the Barn at Boones Dam) throughout our whole wedding planning. There are no words to express how pleased I was with my experiences with Ruth and the Barn at Boones Dam. It was obvious from the start of our planning that Ruth loves her job -- she absolutely went out of her way to make our wedding at the Barn at Boones Dam personal for me and my husband, and was willing to accommodate all of out requests.
My guests are still talking about every aspect of the wedding --- they are still talking about the amazing food (coworker came up to me the other day - "Im still craving the chicken and waffles from your wedding and the pasta station was amazing".
The guests are also still commenting that the wedding was so personal and unique - and that the wedding was exactly for me and my husband. I truly felt that it was our day at the Barn at Boones Dam and I have Ruth and her staff to thank for that feeling!!!
The grounds were absolutely amazing --the outdoor ceremony, our photographs around the property, the outdoor cocktail hour on the deck, and the reception room are beautiful!!
Like I said -- there are no words to explain how happy we are with the Barn and our wedding day! IT WAS THE PERFECT DAY, IT WAS TRULY OUR DAY!! Thank you Ruth and your staff!!!!!!!!

Melody was very helpful throughout the entire process and made sure everything was perfect on my wedding day. They decorated the barn and all of the shelves to my exact specifications. The staff was very friendly and really made a point to help guests if they needed to find the card box, bathrooms, etc. The food was absolutely amazing. Way above what I have ever eaten at a wedding. The guests really loved the hors d'oeuvres too!! The cake was also amazing!! I couldn't have asked for a better caterer, venue, or staff to have on my wedding day. I don't even know where to begin with the amazing staff at Susquehanna Chef other than to say our day was absolute perfection! Melody was the easiest coordinator to work with and helped us plan every single part of the wedding. She gave helpful recommendations and was always very responsive to all our questions and concerns. She also kept me on track and never let me forget any details. The catering was awesome, from the huge variety of food to the quality, we were very pleased. The cupcakes were the best part...buttercream icing and filling to die for! The Barn itself is gorgeous and provided such a naturally beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We booked our venue 18 months before our wedding and in the interim, ended up moving 2 hours away and I had to work until the day before our wedding - to say I was a stressed bride would be an understatement. Ruth was very accommodating of our crazy schedule and so thorough in the planning process. She helped ensure our reception went off without a hitch and decorated the Barn at Boones Dam (already a gorgeous venue) beautifully. We received many compliments from our guests on the quality and amount of food provided and the cake as well. I would absolutely plan another event at the Barn!

Ruth and her staff was amazing!!! Every time I had a question Ruth would help me. Her and her staff made our wedding day go smoothly. It was absolutely my dream wedding and all I had to do was show up! Even at the end of the night the staff packed everything up for my parents. I recommend working with the Susquehanna Chef to any of my friends or family who are getting married.

Beautiful!! Ruth and her staff are simply amazing. Ruth has great ideas with all the planning/organizing. Food was exceptional along with the decor.Our guests raved over the food. The cake , delicious! The barn grounds just breathtaking! Our wedding was PERFECT! It's awesome to hear it was the best wedding they have ever attended!!

Ruth Kranig was so wonderful in the entire wedding planning process! The Barn is a gorgeous venue in itself, but Ruth really brought it to life with her suggestions and helpful items! It was the perfect day and the food was absolutely amazing! Everyone was complimenting on the food and wanted seconds! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in a rustic setting. We held our ceremony outdoors in front of a tree and then had our reception inside. It was the best day and all thanks to Ruth!!

As wedding florists ourselves who have had the privilege of working at many venues in central Pennsylvania, there was no hesitation as to where we wanted to have our wedding celebration and champagne brunch the day following our wedding. We had incredibly high expectations for the Barn at Boone's Dam and they surpassed the same. Ruth (owner and manager), Patrick (owner and executive chef), and Melody (event coordinator) are incredibly detail oriented and results focused. Having them handling the details of our day allowed us to enjoy every moment of our celebration. In the capacity of our own business, we have interacted with hundreds of couples and those that have their celebration at the Barn at Boone's Dam consistently comment afterward it was perfect. We now join this group and reiterate that every single thing about the venue, the food and the service was PERFECT. Thanks a million- we wish there was a rating higher than 5!

Gorgeous venue! Our daughter's wedding reception was nothing short of pure enchantment!, thanks to this venue's amazing staff! Special thanks to the bartender and expresso bar attendant, who were absolutely delightful to all of our guests. Also the wait staff were also remarkable!, kudos! Melody, I can't thank you enough for pulling the day all together, you were so flexible and accommodating, even with all the changes and requests. I am so grateful all were part of making our daughter's day not only special, but magical!

Ruth and all the staff at the Barn at Boones Dam were wonderful, the services they provided us throughout our whole wedding process were simply amazing. They were willing to do all they could to make things easier for us in planning our big day. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Ruth was an excellent hostess and made everything fall into place for us, I wouldn't complain about one thing. all the staff during the ceremony and reception were also great. they joined the party and enjoyed themselves just as our guests did. We're truly happy with how everything fell into place.

I was blown away upon meeting Ruth and her team the first time while searching for a venue for our wedding. Ruth was gracious with letting me bring in my family on multiple occasions to view the venue and extremely helpful while planning for our big day! She provided us with a great atmosphere, decorations, delicious food, and friendly services! She was ever so pleasant even when I changed the start/end time and food options over and over again. The Barn at Boone's Dam is a gem in good ol' Bloomsburg, PA! I was thrilled my experience! My family and friends are STILL talking about the food and decor two months later. I highly recommend The Barn at Boone's Dam for any Bride, Groom, Family, etc!

Working with Ruth and Patrick from Susquehanna Chef was a terrific experience and having our wedding at The Barn at Boone's Dam was downright awesome. Patrick's food was fantastic - our guests are still raving about it almost two months later - and Ruth's flexibility, support, and responsiveness during our planning process were a huge help. We planned our wedding in just five months and the end result was nothing short of wonderful.
We had a beautiful, intimate garden ceremony, followed by a twilight cocktail hour on the outdoor deck and a seated dinner and dancing inside the barn. We also had an after-dinner Make Your Own S'mores station outside on the lawn, which our guests loved and which was perfect for the cool September evening.
The staff at the barn managed every last detail of our special day. We didn't have to worry about a single thing - we just showed up, got married, and danced the night away! Thank you again, Ruth, Patrick, and everyone at the barn!

Ruth and team did an amazing job! The venue was magical, the food was great and the staff was incredibly helpful. I really didn't feel like I had much to worry about on my wedding day other than the weather, and that was largely due to how on top of things and experienced Ruth and her team were. Her advice was invaluable to our entire process and having the benefit of her problem solving was tremendously helpful and reassuring. We always felt like she wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams and would do everything in her power to make that happen, without abandoning all reason and common sense. We still have guests writing to us and telling us how amazing the wedding was - almost a month later. Thank you Ruth and team!

Having our daughter's wedding at the Barn at Boone's Dam was extraordinary! It exceeded our expectations. The food prepared by Susquehanna Chef was delicious and guests obviously enjoyed the food and experience. They also prepared some special dietary meals which was so wonderful of them!
Like all brides my daughter hoped for a dream wedding and she had it. I had heard from others if we went with the Barn as a venue, we would be very happy and they were right! Thanks again to the entire staff for attending to every detail. We were in good hands!

Ruth and her staff at the Barn at Boone's Dam couldn't have been better!! They made our entire wedding experience wonderful. Any request or concern I had Ruth made sure to honor it or give expert advice. Most of our communication was through email which worked best for me due to my work schedule. Anyone looking into this venue - book it now!! It fills up fast and for a good reason! All my guests kept coming up to me at the wedding "how did you find this place?", "this place is beautiful!" Trust me, it's worth every penny!

Ruth and her staff are extremely professional. From the first time we made contact until the day of the wedding, there was open and clear communication. We knew we were in capable hands, which made our wedding planning and the wedding itself enjoyable. Ruth was willing to help us with each step, which was helpful because I am not overly attentive to details when it comes to event planning and decorating. We found a picture on Pinterest of a cake we liked, and the baker on the sight was able to replicate it. It not only looked gorgeous, but tasted great AND is included with the venue pricing. The dinner tasted delicious as well. We had ours buffet style and the food was hot even as guests went up for seconds. The venue itself is breathtaking, and they do a fantastic job keeping up with the hanging baskets, gardens, the rest of the landscape and the barn itself. Ruth also provided us with recommendations for photographers, hotels, florists, DJs and more. We selected The Details Matter (florist) and Fusion Sounds (DJ), which were on her list. They were both fantastic and just as professional. When we walked in the barn the day of the wedding, we did not have to do a thing - it was stress free and looked amazing! We could not have a better experience for our special day!

This venue made our wedding dreams come true! From the moment we first visited the venue we knew this was the place. We live 1.5 hours out of town and they did everything to make this so easy. They provide endless amount of decorations there that you can use and they were perfect. In addition to the decorations we had, it was seamless set up. Did not have worry about the finish product cause they listen to what your vision is for your day and create it. A wonderful Husband and Wife team. The food was amazing...wished I could have eaten more cause it was so good. I think most of our guest forgot they were at a wedding cause they still continue to say how amazing the venue was...so comfortable, fun, relaxed and beautiful. I can not wait to have my ten year anniversary cause we will recreate our day with The Barn...Thank you Ruth for everything!!!....you, your husband and team are truly amazing. Never understood what people meant when they said they dreamed of their wedding day from a little girl....but you made my dreams come true.

We are so happy with our decision to have our wedding at the Barn at Boones Dam!! We fell in love with the venue from the moment we got there - it is beautiful inside and out. Ruth, who runs the venue, was very responsive throughout the planning process and able to give lots of suggestions based on her years of experience.
At the Barn, they set up everything for you and take everything down. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything! When we arrived there on our wedding day, every detail was absolutely perfect. All of our guests had an amazing time and have been raving about the venue and the food.

We chose the Barn because I had attended an event there while at college and loved it! It is such a beautiful place! Ruth, our wedding coordinator,was amazing! She got back to us right away any time we had a question. She does her best to grant every and any wish a bride has.The entire staff takes such great care of every guest. The bartenders really know their stuff too!
The Barn is a one stop shop for receptions and ceremonies. We has a rustic theme to our wedding and found that they had many decorations and table settings to choose from. Ruth allows brides to borrow anything that she has available. The team set up and took down everything for us from centerpieces, ceremonies, and banners. It looked beautiful.
People still can't stop talking about how great the food was at our wedding. It is above and beyond any wedding food I have ever had anywhere else. The menu is an excellent value for the quality of food they put out. The seafood lasagna is to die for! I'd recommend this place to anyone!

I'm not sure words can describe just how awesome our wedding was, but I will give it a try. Ruth and her team bent over backwards to make sure that they gave my wife the wedding of her dreams. Kim had all of these ideas, and Ruth not only listened, but was able to take Kim's vision and make it better then she could have imagined. It was the best day of our lives, and since then have been told it's been the best wedding anyone has been to. (And we had five weddings last year, haha) The food was amazing. We did a cocktail style reception, with only apps, and everyone loved everything. I am so happy we had our wedding at the Barn, I have nothing but great memories of our wedding day, and it wouldn't have been possible without Ruth, her staff, and the Barn.

I can't put into words how much I think of the Susquehanna Chef and The Barn at Boone's Dam (venue). The rating system on this webpage does not offer enough stars to do them justice! Ruth and Patrick are incredible, as is their entire staff! Everything was perfect for our wedding...including the entire planning process (how many brides can say that?!). Ruth is responsive, knowledgable, and very easy to work with. She has great ideas and knows what will work well, and what won't. Narrowing down what food we wanted was probably the hardest part! There are a lot of choices and everything was customizable. Everything was delicious! It was high-end restaurant quality food that everyone raved about. The staff is incredible. They are responsivle and helpful...but you hardly even notice they are there. We all had a wonderful experience there. Months later and I still hear from my guests about how awesome it was. I think the majority of my guests will want to have their next event at the Barn at Boone's Dam too. I know we will!

I cannot say enough good things about Ruth and her team! Nearly a year later, my guests are still raving about the food and I personally dream about the cake.
