Autumn Lane is truly the most beautiful wedding venue we have ever seen. When we drove up to the property for the first time in 2022, we immediately knew that we would get married there. It is the perfect mix of cozy cabins, gorgeous mountains, a beautiful beach. We had a two year engagement and we spent all two years trying to explain why this property was so special to all of our loved ones, and on the day of our wedding SO many people told us that they didn't understand it until they saw it. It's pure magic. If the pictures don't immediately draw you in, take the drive and you will not regret it. We will forever be obsessed with this property and these people! The love that goes into an Autumn Lane wedding is tangible. Thank you Mackenzie, Dan & the whole Autumn Lane team :) -

We can’t say enough amazing things about Autumn Lane Estate! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and ensure we and our guests felt completely taken care of. The accommodations were gorgeous, comfortable, and made our weekend effortless and relaxing.
The owners and property managers were fantastic—so communicative, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They were personable, kind, and made us feel like they truly cared about our experience, which made the whole planning process so special.
The property itself is breathtaking—immaculately maintained, spotless, and full of charm. We received countless compliments from our guests on how stunning the venue is, and we couldn’t agree more! Choosing Autumn Lane Estate was the best decision for our wedding, and it made our day truly unforgettable. -

My wife and I had the time of our life in on July 12th, 2025. The entire staff at Autumn Lane Estate made our special day even more memorable. They were very accommodating three days in a row during our stay. I received double digit compliments from our wedding guests about how friendly, engaging, and accommodating the staff was. My wife and I, and our immediate families who stayed on the grounds felt the same way. In addition, the resort, the cabins, the guest house, and the couples cottage are all outstanding. We had so much fun, that we're hoping to schedule to return at some point with our extended families to relieve our amazing day and enjoy some more time there. You cannot go wrong by booking your special day at Autumn Lane Estate! It is awesome and the staff is amazing! -

We truly can not say enough things about Autumn Lane Estate, and their staff. After touring the venue and meeting the staff, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Not only is the property well maintained, beautiful and super though out but it allows your friends and family to stay together all weekend celebrating your marriage. Mackenzie and Dan made the experience seamless from start to finish helping us execute the most perfect 3 day wedding weekend. Our friends and family were blown away by the kindness of the ALE staff at each event and how caring each person they met were. ALE allows you to fully customize your vendor team really allowing each couple to make the venue their own for the entire weekend, while providing local recommended preferred vendors as well. We ended up using all our vendors from their list and the team could not have been more perfect. If you want a beautiful, waterfront, luxurious venue with room for ~50 of your guests to stay all weekend look no further than Autumn Lane Estate. I wish I could give 100 stars! -

Our wedding at Autumn Lane Estates was everything we could've imagined and more. The onsite lodging, the hospitality of the staff and vendors, and the proximity of how close everything was at the venue made for a timeless and memorable Wedding Weekend. We received many compliments from family and friends on how this was the best venue/wedding they've ever been to. It was intimate and everyone loved the uniqueness of the barn, cabins and houses. -

To have our Wedding at The Barn at Autumn Lane Was the Best decision ever!!!!
My husband and I were looking for a venue a year before our wedding, so we scheduled a tour at the Barn at Autumn Lane in August 2018. Even though the barn wasn’t finished then, we saw the potential and at the end it exceeded our expectations. Dan and Mackenzie are so nice, helpful, easy going, responsive, and always welcoming. It was an absolutely pleasure to work with them.
This location is absolutely beautiful, the Barn can be transform from chic rustic to fancy and modern depending on your style. Some of the highlights of this venue are the multiple areas that you can work with to make your wedding as unique and beautiful as you want. There is the Barn, the patio, the waterfall, the lake front, the back yard..... ALL IN ONE PLACE!
Also, to have accommodation options in site to stay the night before and after the wedding made it priceless, and took so much stress of my shoulders. (Please check the couple’s cottage, it is AMAZING)
It was the perfect spot for us to say “I do” and have a fabulous indoor/outdoor reception. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the people who own it!

Autumn Lane was the perfect venue for our fairy tale wedding. We booked Autumn Lane 2 years in advance and it was incredible watching all the positive changes Mackenzie and Dan made to the place. It was definitely worth the wait! They hired a fantastic staff to help facilitate everything for the weekend and have an unbelievable social media team. The venue is beautiful and has so many different areas that we utilized to showcase its wonder. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful Maine lake wedding! -

Best venue ever
It was an absolute pleasure working with Dan, Mackenzie, and the entire Autumn Lane staff! They made our wedding weekend run so smoothly and were always there if we need anything throughout the weekend. Autumn Lane Estate was truly the venue of our dreams. With the lake front access, the new addition of cabins and the Nest on property in the resort space, there isn’t anything this venue is missing. We spent an amazing long weekend celebrating with our friends and family and truly could not have asked for a more perfect weekend. The “weekend wedding” made it possible to really spend time with all of our guests and made it so that on our wedding day we didn’t feel rushed trying to make sure we saw every person. Everyone who attended raved about how fantastic the wedding and venue was! We wish we could do it all again! -

We would 100% recommend The Barn at Autumn Lane to a friend. The entire experience with Mackenzie and Dan from start to finish was professional, thoughtful, and sincere. They were incredibly invested and before the barn was even finished, we saw their vision and instantly trusted them with the biggest day of our lives. The thought and detail they have put into the entire property is stunning and we feel so honored to have gotten married there. Choosing Autumn Lane Estate was hands down the best decision we made during our wedding planning process! Having the entire weekend to celebrate made everything feel so relaxed and special, and it turned our wedding into a full experience rather than just a single day.
Mackenzie, Nicole, and Dan were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Their attention to detail and organization made the planning process seamless. The day-of coordination allowed us to truly enjoy every moment without a single worry. The entire Autumn Lane Estate team was amazing.
The venue itself is perfect. Having both the tent and the barn was great. Two separate spaces to eat and dance made transitioning to the dance floor easy and once the music started, no one wanted to sit down again!
The cottages and cabins were another huge highlight. Having our family and friends stay on-site made it feel like a vacation getaway. Mackenzie and Dan have poured their hearts into this venue, and you can feel it in every detail. They genuinely want your weekend to be the best weekend ever.
We can’t recommend Autumn Lane Estate enough. They are the best! -

Due to covid-19 my husband and I decided to postpone our wedding from 2020 to 2021. We wanted everyone to have the chance to get vaccinated before coming to our wedding. Dan and Mackenzie were able to work with us to move our wedding date. They answered every question promptly and checked in with us from time to time. Originally we had planned to get married outside, but it had started to rain that day. Decorations were quickly moved inside the barn and it was breathtaking. My lanterns lined the aisle and it looked so magical! Sarah helped out my day of coordinator and made things run smoothly behind the scenes. The Estate house was fantastic for my family to stay in and our hair and makeup team was appreciative of the spacious getting ready area in the bridal cottage. We had a tent set up for dinner right behind the barn and the barn was cleared for dancing during dinner time. Somehow, everything ran exactly on time. I am normally a very anxious person, but to my surprise I only felt calm and blissful all day. Molly, the social media coordinator for the venue was even kind enough to send us copies of the photos she took. I have posted them on this review. Overall, we had a blast and our guests kept saying that our wedding was a ton of fun. I couldn't recommend Autumn Lane Estates enough! -

Everything is modern and fresh and impeccably maintained. We were greeted with a lovely hand written card and bottle of champagne to start off our weekend such a simple, yet heartfelt welcoming. The thoughtfulness into every single detail is what makes this venue stand above the rest. The team of vendors, many of whom came recommended by Mackenzie, made our wedding run so smoothly. My husband and I had the most unforgettable wedding at Autumn Lane Estate in June 2023. Huge thanks to owners Mackenzie & Dan for making us feel at home. The lakeside charm, unique resort area, and versatile barn created an enchanting setting. The grounds and Grove provided an ideal ceremony backdrop, while onsite lodging and the exceptional team's hospitality made every moment memorable. For spring/summer weddings, the resort area gives off a tropical getaway vibe, perfect for our welcome party and post-wedding brunch. Guests loved the trendy bungalows and chic cafe/bar. We can't recommend this venue enough; if we could, we'd say "I do" there again and again. Kudos to everyone at Autumn Lane for orchestrating our perfect day! -

Autumn Lane is an absolutely beautiful location with amazing views of Sebago Lake. We especially got lucky with perfect weather and peak fall foliage but regardless it is a gorgeous spot to tie the knot. The housing accommodations were comfortable and had plenty of extra amenities for getting ready for the big day (and the hot tub to relax in after the festivities was a welcomed bonus). The staff were an absolute joy to work with. They made sure everything ran smoothly and were so accommodating, especially when we had some last-minute additions to our rehearsal dinner. The on-site catering The Nest was always delicious and the personalized cocktails they helped us think up were a huge hit. They even went out of their way to source a specific variety of wine that we were looking for. They worked very carefully with us to make sure every detail of the day was exactly what we wanted and in the rare case that it couldn't be they were communicative and clear so that everyone was on the same page. Thanks so much to Mackenzie, Dan, their coordinator Nicole and to everyone there at Autumn Lane for letting us have a perfect wedding day!

My daughter got married at The Barn at Autumn Lane In September and it was a perfect day. The owners, Dan and Mackenzie were so easy to work with. They were very accommodating. Just really nice people.
All of our guest were blown away by this venue. Just driving by doesn’t do it justice. The views of Sebago Lake are breathtaking. They left no detail out when planning this venue! Highly recommend!!!!! -

We rented out the entire property for our wedding this past September and we cannot say enough good things about Dan and Mackenzie and the site. Being able to have the entire bridal party and their +1s stay with us not only made the whole weekend a ton of fun, but it also took a TON of the stress out of it. The place is gorgeous, they definitely have a special thing going here. -

We had our families stay onsite for the weekend to make a mini vacation out of our special weekend. My daughter had her dream wedding at The Barn at Autumn Lane on July 13, 2019. It was magical and perfect in every way. This venue is amazing! We rented the whole property for the weekend. Our rehearsal dinner was onsite. The wedding party stayed in the Estate House and two cottages. The bridal party got ready in the Couples Cottage and the groomsmen prepared nearby in the house. All were comfortably air-conditioned on an 88 degree day! The photographers and videographers loved that everything was so close, making it easy to capture every moment before, during and after the ceremony. This is an all-in-one facility, set up for any size event. We had 175 guests and a huge tent for dinner with a lake view. The barn is spacious for dancing and well-ventilated with big, beautiful doors that open on each end. There is a fairy-tale patio and cocktail hour setting with a waterfall and paved path from the upper parking lot that allows for onsite parking which is obscured from view, making the natural surroundings the focus of the photos. I just can't say enough about this special property. The best part is the owners, Dan and Mackenzie! They have thought of everything to make this venue a true dream! Even their bathrooms are out of this world beautiful. We feel so fortunate to have been the very first wedding (besides their own) to be hosted at The Barn at Autumn Lane. It is sure to be #1 on the list of venues for a long time! Congratulations to Dan and Mackenzie for creating a peaceful and resplendent space for the most special days of people's lives to be celebrated! -

The Barn at Autumn Lane is absolutely breathtaking! The owners, Dan and Mackenzie, are so incredible and welcoming. They have put so much hard work into the property. Their attention to detail is unreal- everything is perfect including the landscaping, lighting, onsite overnight accommodations, bridal party getting ready suite and restroom facilities for guests. We got married here this last June and cannot recommend this venue highly enough to others. The staff at Autumn Lane were amazing and have thought of every detail to make your wedding weekend perfect. Mackenzie & Dan have put so much money and time back into the property that every time we went for a visit, we were surprised with new additions and updates. The weather on our weekend wasn't the most ideal but the staff there went above and beyond to ensure that everything still went smoothly. As a result, we ended up having our ceremony in the barn and it was really cozy and lovely! -

Autumn Lane was everything my husband and I dreamed of for our perfect wedding venue. A friend had shared their instagram with me when I mentioned we wanted a full weekend wedding and we immediately got in touch with Mackenzie and Dan to set up an information call and a visit to the property. It was like talking with lifelong friends - they are the most kind humans ever! When we arrived to the property for our tour, we couldn't believe that it was actually possible to be more spectacular in person than it already looked in images. They have truly created a masterpiece for a wedding venue. Everything detail was so thoughtfully planned out from the couples cottage where the girls got ready, the amenities in the estate house where our parents stayed and the guys got ready, to the reception trio of the barn, patio and yard (complete with a waterfall that has changing colored lights!). Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, they told us that they were adding the cabin space up on the hill and showed us a picture of the blueprint. We trusted them and by the time our wedding came, this space turned out to be the highlight of our wedding. Our guests LOVED their cabins which made them feel like they were glamping on Sebago Lake. The naturally filtering pool with waterfalls and tadpoles was a favorite spot for many to hang out - we even had our rehearsal dinner up on the deck by the pool which gave everyone a perfect view of the property below where we would be celebrating our big day. In addition, our guests still talk about how much they loved having access to the lake with a nice sandy beach and views that went on forever!
It was evident that Mackenzie and Dan loved designing and adding each detail to the property. When we were booking, we were processing the expense of renting a full property for multiple days, but it ended up being worth every penny. Dan and Mackenzie made it clear we were working with humans and that they would be available every step of the way to help us navigate the wedding process from recommending other vendors (video, coordinator, etc), to working behind the scenes all weekend long.
Throughout our big weekend, Mackenzie, Dan and the entire staff at ALE (shoutout to Sarah & Matt!) were absolute rockstars and made us feel like we were the most important wedding to ever set foot on the property (keep in mind this property was built for their own wedding!). The entirety of the process from date of booking to the moment we packed up and said our goodbyes at the end of our wedding, it felt like we were working with friends. They were so accommodating and made us feel so at ease. They entertained all of our crazy ideas including letting me jump off the dock in my wedding dress! The whole weekend felt like a vacation away with a sprinkle of wedding for all of our guests. Dan & Mackenzie are the ultimate wedding venue dream team and I will HIGHLY recommend ALE to everyone searching for the perfect place to say "I do"!!! -

Our wedding at Autumn Lane Estate was an absolute dream! The whole weekend was perfect for our wedding party to stay right on site. The owners have put so much thought into the entire venue, from the couples cottage for getting ready, the estate house had everything we need, the patio with beautiful string lights and fire pit, to the gorgeous barn perfect for dancing the night away. The owners and their team were so helpful and supportive during the whole planning process and the wedding weekend. My husband and I, along with our guest all can agree that it was the best wedding we've all been to! -

The perfect fit
Autumn Lane is what wedding dreams are made of! The laidback luxury vibe is exactly what we wanted in a venue. We were considering eloping in Hawaii but also wanted family to join us for our big day. The compromise was an intimate weekday wedding on the shores of our favorite lake and Autumn Lane helped us make that happen.
We were able to configure farm tables in the barn for dinner to seat 40 people, with enough space for dancing too! The Pig Kahuna catered with an amazing pig roast and my dream wedding cake was brought to life by Baked With Love. The Nest (Autumn lane’s cafe/bar) provided delicious cocktails.
It was an absolutely perfect day - even though 2023 was full of rainy days, we were blessed with perfect weather. Fantastic opportunity to have photos taken right on the beach and enjoy stunning scenery all around! We ended the night the only way deemed acceptable in an area full of campgrounds - with a campfire!
The social media reel created by venue staff less than 24 hours after our wedding was incredible. We couldn't stop watching it! An added benefit that was priceless.
Mackenzie, Dan, and the rest of the Autumn Lane team were wonderful to work with and very accommodating with our 4-month turnaround. Only wish we could do it all over again! -

Our September wedding at the Barn at Autumn Lane could not have been any more perfect! Dan and MacKenzie felt like friends from day one. They were so invested in our celebration being a success. I had my wedding at Autumn Lane Estates in September of 2021. All of the communication leading up to the weekend was incredible and Mackenzie and Dan were so thoughtful and helpful. The biggest reason we picked the venue was to have a place to have every part of the wedding in the same location and to be able to house the wedding party all on site. The big and little thoughts that are spread throughout the entire venue do not go unnoticed. The entire team made our wedding weekend an absolute dream and I am so incredibly thankful for them all! -
