The Balinese Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception! The beauty of the venue speaks for itself, but beyond that they have the best staff. From the start when we toured the venue everyone was so kind and helpful. The venue manager, Taylor, was there to answer every single question we had as we prepared for our big day. Working with her was a joy! When we arrived the morning of our wedding, all of the staff, including the owner, did everything possible to ensure that our day ran smoothly and with ease. Their professionalism and kindness allowed me to feel calm and enjoy the day. Once the wedding started, Ann made sure that anything we needed we got. Not only did she make sure we were fed, but she packed us an entire bag of leftovers for later that night! She was a rockstar. We also chose to use The Balinese Ballrooms in house catering and it was hands down THE best decision. I wanted pizza and we ended up serving 3 different types of pizza, lasagna, Caesar salad, caprese skewers, and toasted ravioli. Our guests literally didn’t stop eating all night and were raving about the food wanting to know who our caterer was. Guests continued to tell us after the wedding that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! We can’t say enough good things about The Balinese Ballroom and its amazing staff. Best Day Ever!

I was so lucky to end up with such a wonderful venue for my wedding. We decided two weeks before we had planned to get married to go ahead and have a full wedding. We lucked out in that the Balinese Ballroom was available! Not only was this venue fantastic for both our wedding and ceremony, but the owner was crucial in helping to make sure everything went smoothly. Not only was he able to provide me with referrals for companies to use when I couldn't find a DJ or a cake days before the event, but when I realized I wasn't going to have a place to get ready prior to the ceremony, he was able to make It happen where I had space for my mother my two sisters and I to get dressed and get our professional makeup done without being bothered. But, it’s not just the space and the owner. Y'all, the food was AMAZING!! I'm not lying!! My wedding day was the best day of my life, and it truly wouldn't have been the same had we not found The Balinese Ballroom. I 100% recommend this venue for your wedding or other special event.

Amazing experience! Couldn't be happier with everything!

My husband and I had our African wedding in the Highpoint Ballroom and our American wedding in the Downstairs Ballroom and both nights were truly incredible. Taylor and Mike went out of their way to make sure both days were perfect and were both wonderful about getting back to us with any questions or concerns that we had. Our families and friends couldn't stop talking about how beautiful both ballrooms were. The waitstaff and bartenders were incredible, and did a great job keeping things running smoothly! They even packed my husband and I two to-go containers of food to take home, knowing we probably didn't have a lot of time to eat during the wedding! There was plenty of free parking, the catering was yummy, and we barely had to decorate at all since the space is so beautiful already. 15/10 would recommend the Balinese Ballroom!

We love Balinese Ballroom!

Let me start off by saying that with planning an out of town wedding, having catering and the reception and ceremony space all with the same vendor was a lifesaver. Taylor was such a joy to work with all throughout the planning process and so helpful with all of the questions I had. The space itself is beautiful, and we liked the food a lot. There was a huge menu to choose from, a tasting with multiple different things from the menu (I believe 12 or 13), and our wedding went amazingly well. Everyone loved the space and was so complimentary.

We were having such an amazing time, we forgot to cut our cake!

When my husband and I walked into the Balinese for the first time, we instantly knew we'd found the perfect place for our day.

Modern, Industrial and chic elegance had a baby and voila! The Balinese Ballroom came into fruition!

The beauty of the venue is so understated. You don't need a ton of decor to make it your own.

Our ceremony was in the downstairs ballroom. Our reception was in the High Point Ballroom.

While all the spaces are beautiful with their dark wood floors and brick walls, the High Point was even more spectacular than we originally thought. It gave off a speakeasy vibe that we didn't anticipate but absolutely loved.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention and thank 3 specific people: Taylor, Mike, and Cheryl.

Taylor answered all my questions and accommodated our schedules so effortlessly when needed. She also took extra care to help use put together a great menu for our evening. We went more with an Italian style Buffett and it was delicious!

Mike, who's the owner, is just hands down the coolest man we've ever met. He was an unexpected bonus when we came down for food tastings and should be protected at all costs because he's a treasure. Thank you for giving us those tips on purchasing liquor, Mike, because it came in handy.

Lastly, there was Cheryl. She was my bridal party's attendant. Just her voice alone, calmed me down and put us all at ease. She was so kind and helpful.

Thank you so much for being part of our wedding day! We loved getting to work with you to bring our dream to life. We appreciate your help in creating unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime. We had such an amazing time, we forgot to cut our cake!

Best bang for your buck and then some

Can not say enough good things about this venue. Taylor walks you through the entire process with ease. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The staff was amazing from the security/doorman, to the bartenders and wait staff! We were so lucky to find this place. We couldn’t/didn’t want to spend a fortune on just a venue and then have to worry about food etc. They do it all! And their food is amazing, sourced local and organic! Hands down, best night of my life

Balinese is THE BEST

ABSOLUTELY beautiful venue. And everyone we worked with/dealt with during the planning process were even better. SUPER accommodating and friendly. I could not imagine a better wedding day thanks to Balinese!

Stress free experience

Balinese is a perfect place to get married and/or celebrate any occasion! It’s affordable and soo beautiful! Lots of lights and an artsy atmosphere. Celebrating near Christmas was even better because their holiday decor was all set up and it was gorgeous and tasteful. All the staff I came across and spoke to, with questions and comments, we’re professionally answered and well communicated with me. I definitely recommend Balinese Ballroom to anyone!

Where to start! We are completely satisfied with our decision to book the Balinese Ballroom for our wedding! The manager, Taylor, was super helpful and kind throughout the entire process. We were even able to meet the owner, Mike, during our tasting and he was also there during the reception! That should tell you how in touch they really are. And MANDY, omg! She was absolutely PERFECT during the ceremony and reception! She really helped to calm my nerves as we were running behind, she was super accommodating with everything, and she made sure that me and my husband were taken care of all night! The food, the staff, the venue, all worth the money.!!! Please, if you’re debating booking, debate no more! This is the venue for you! Thank you so much to everyone.!!!

Balinese exceptional all around

We are beyond satisfied with this venue! Balinese owner and staff, especially Mandy went above and beyond to make our daughters special day even more perfect! I couldnt have made it through this day without all of Mandy’s guidance and help, truly exceptional service! Mike the owner is pretty great as well! ❤️

Absolutely beautiful and great service! We were able to have a normal sized wedding even with COVID going on without anyone getting sick. I truly recommend this place!

Wedding Reception

This was an absolute amazing experience working with the people at the Balinese Ballroom! They always did more than I expected and they were extremely reliable! Ashton was awesome at helping us plan up to the day of and the staff of the day of went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! The venue itself was beautiful and we loved the downtown Memphis location!

We cannot say enough good things about the wedding venue we chose. The staff is amazing, Ashton was so quick to answer any questions during the planning process. Then the day of the AC was leaking into the middle of the floor and it was addressed and fixed within 10 minutes. The food was great there too, and the bartender service was awesome! If you’re looking for a reasonably priced wedding venue in the Memphis are this should be one of your top considerations, they helped make our day something like a dream come true!

Simply Beautiful!

Reserving the Balinese Ballroom was the first thing my husband and I did while planning our wedding. It was absolutely perfect! Everything about this venue is beautiful, and it was exactly the look I wanted. The bright and elegant downstairs for the ceremony, and the darker, more intimate feeling upstairs for the reception. The exposed brick, and all of the windows framed by lights were just gorgeous! All of the parking was such a bonus as well, with us having a lot of family from out of town. Ashton and Mike are absolutely wonderful, and so easy to work with! They catered the food for the reception, and everyone made sure to let us know how delicious it was! The beef tenderloin, and the shrimp and scallop pastries were so good that I'm praying I know someone getting married there soon so I can spend more time enjoying them! The entire day was so perfect and stress free. I highly recommend everything about the Balinese Ballroom for anyone wanting a beautiful downtown wedding!

Reserving the Balinese Ballroom was the first thing my husband and I did while planning our wedding. It was absolutely perfect! Everything about this venue is beautiful, and it was exactly the look I wanted. The bright and elegant downstairs for the ceremony, and the darker, more intimate feeling upstairs for the reception. Wonderful Venue

We had our wedding at the Balinese Ballroom and it was AMAZING!!! Taylor is the manager and she is super responsive and very helpful throughout the whole process. We picked the downstairs ballroom and the venue is gorgeous. The event ran smooth and people from our wedding raved about the food. I cannot recommend them enough. Their prices are very fair, and you get excellent value! I genuinely have no complaints about any of the service from this venue. The day of staff was polite and friendly as well. I highly recommend booking your wedding or event here!
