Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback regarding your wedding at The Balcony. We sincerely apologize that your special day did not meet the high standards we strive to uphold.

Firstly, we would like to address your concerns about our service fee. The 25% fee is standard in our industry and is applied to cover various administrative and operational costs associated with hosting an event at our venue. We understand that this may have not been clear, and we regret any confusion or frustration it caused.

Regarding the trash disposal issues, we recognize that these aspects significantly impacted your experience. The trash you are referring to was from your contracted floral vendor that we did not manage. We always inform our clients that it is the responsibility of the vendors that come into the venue to set and strike their portion of the event. Your vendor did not, and was not planning to, return after unloading an entire garden of flowers. We did offer to handle the cleanup following the event after your floral vendor for a fee to cover the additional labor that would have been required to clean up the extensive floral leftovers, which you declined. We are reviewing our communication and operational procedures to ensure clearer information is provided to our clients well in advance of their event.

We also acknowledge your concerns about the capacity and coordination of large events. We are taking steps to improve our procedures and staff training to ensure that all events, regardless of size, are managed effectively and efficiently. We are always transparent regarding the lighting as well, which is well-lit under our market lighting between the two towers.

Regarding your experience with one of our preferred caterers, Table Top, we are addressing these issues directly with them. We are committed to ensuring that all our vendors align with our values and standards, particularly regarding inclusivity and adaptability to diverse cultural needs, something that The Balcony strives for. We host events from all walks of life, so we do not appreciate the presumption that we treated your event any differently based on your "ethnic backgrounds". We have also hosted hundreds of events with Table Top and this is the first we have heard of this type of feedback.

We want to assure you that your feedback is being taken seriously, and we are always making improvements. Our goal is always to create a memorable and joyous experience for our clients, and we are truly sorry that we did not achieve this for your wedding.

We always inform our clients of potential noise concerns, and there are clear guidelines about volume levels to ensure harmony with our neighbors. While we want every event to be lively and enjoyable, we must also respect the surrounding community.

Food Concerns: We partner with our caterers to ensure both guests and staff are well-taken care of. Any meals provided to our staff are pre-arranged and separate from the food prepared for guests. It's never our intention to take away from the guest experience.

Security Concerns: Our security team's primary goal is to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and staff. It's regrettable that there were misunderstandings during your event. We always strive to act professionally and in the best interests of all attendees.

In the event that local authorities are involved, it's always with the intention of ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations.
