Kirk was great to work with and his cake was amazing, just the right amount of moisture and the flavor stood out great. Our guests, like us, could not have enough.

Kirk made my husband and I such a beautiful and delicious wedding cake! We received numerous compliments from our guests. Throughout my entire time planning my wedding from the opposite coast, I always felt comfortable that Kirk would be able to take our ideas and make a truly magnificent cake. He was able to take our bits and pieces of ideas for a cake and make an elegant cake. Definitely recommend!

Kirk was helpful in helping us choose the flavor of our cake. He even gave us a deal on the filling up grade. Our wedding cake came out beautiful and delicious. We definitely recommend the bakers oven. Overall we are very happy :)

We visited Kirk at the Baker's Oven to select our wedding cake. First off, let me say that his prep area is clean, he is very detailed and organized. His designs are beautiful and original. We selected a 3-tier cake with Bavarian Crème filling. The cakes were of lemon and raspberry. The buttercream frosting was absolutely beautiful in design and light to the taste. The cake was delicious. Thank you so much, Kirk!

Very nice man! His cakes are beautiful and taste exceptional. He did my wedding cake and my guest wanted to know where it came from and who made it. He is very professional. He made sure my cake was there way before my guest arrived. He designed it beautifully . He loves what he does. I will definitely get another cake made by him.

The cake was the most beautiful and delicious cake ever! It was picture perfect!! The cake tasting was a fantastic experience. I would recommend this bakery to everyone!!!

I used to be a pastry chef so I like to think I know quality; Bakers Oven is quality indeed!!! Kurt knows his stuff and was so helpful not just with the cake but advice on the overall look and feel of the event. The cake was beautiful, tasted like heaven, and enough to feed over 300 people. I will use him for my other special events!!!! Thank you Kurt!

Kirk does absolutely beautiful work! He made our wedding cake and we could not be happier with how it came out. Kirk has an amazing eye and great attention to detail, and it's clear he takes pride in his work. His designs are very elegant. What makes his work even better is the quality and taste of his cake. He has delicious flavors and very moist cake. I would definitely recommend Kirk to anyone!

Bakers Oven did an amazing job on our cake. Definitely got what we paid for! We were eating the leftovers for a week it still tasted amazing :) Kirk is really great working with on deciding about what to do with the cake.

We hired The Baker's Oven to make our wedding cake. Kirk was professional, upfront, and on the ball. Our cake was gorgeous and tasted fantastic! The buttercream was flawless and several people thought it was a model cake because it was so perfect. I would highly recommend The Baker's Oven if you want a beautiful, delicious cake with a little honesty from the baker. He helped us a ton when we were trying to make decisions! Great Value!

We were over the moon with our wedding cake!!! Not only was it beautiful but it was the most delicious cake ever! And I say that as a non cake lover! We were able to take the top tier home, and my husband and I are trying to eat it as slow said possible because we don't want to run out cake!!!...On top of being delicious and beautiful, the service was phenomenal!!!!

I worked with Kirk for our wedding cake. our cake came with the venue and they referrred us to kirk to have it done. He was really great! he was nice and knew what i wanted, he gave me advice when needed and my cake was absoultely gorgeous! i wanted it simple but elegant and he did just that. my guests thought the cake was soo good! i unfortunately did not get to try any :( but i didn't hear not one complaint. Thank you kirk for being awesome!

Kirk was awesome in helping us with our wedding cake! I had certain ideas of how I wanted it, but I appreciated the honesty that he gave in regards to the certain ways to make the cake (like not using fondant because it tastes gross). I really liked that he was straightforward and honest, and it resulted in a delicious wedding cake! He was also very friendly and made us feel very comfortable at the tasting and meetings.

Kirk @ Bakers Oven delivered the best wedding cake ever! His Cake decor was exactly to our specifications and look absoutely gorgeous! The cake was perfect and arrived on time without any hiccups. Great vendor to work with and WONDERFULLY tasting cake. We chose Baker's Oven because they use buttercream frosting rather then fondant due to our own personal taste preferences. Kirk was a pleasure to work with and we had a wonderful time getting to know him on a more personal level during our cake tasting. At the wedding our cake was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you Baker's Oven!

Baker's Oven makes the most delicious, elegant cakes I have ever tasted and seen.
For me, and my fiance, the most important quality is TASTE. Kirk creates flavorful cakes, with not-too-sweet frostings, and DOESN'T DO FONDANT.

We tasted: Chocolate, Vanilla, Choc/Van swirl, lemon, raspberry, and strawberry. And the Bavarian mousse filling.

For our wedding, we chose a layer of lemon (for guests), a layer of raspberry (for guests), and took home the top layer of chocolate/vanilla swirl. For the filing, we upgraded to the Bavarian mousse. For the cake design, we chose an elegant Swiss dot and swirl pattern. The frosting was so flawless, it looked perfect. Kirk even recommended a cake stand that complimented the architecture of our reception venue and accommodated our Lladro cake top.

I must confess I was looking forward to leftover cake for breakfast, however there were NO leftover pieces of cake after the wedding!
Our friends/family, and guests kept thanking us for such a delicious dessert!

Thank you Kirk, we'll see you for our 1-year anniversary cake :)

Kirk is such a pleasure to work with and so patient! We went to his bakery with no clue what we wanted to do for our vow renewal and he was able to help us narrow down our choices and turn a somewhat intimidating experience into a fun one. So personable and helpful, we would definitely seek him out the next time we have have an event.

The cake was AMAZING! all of my guests loved it. Definitely go for the upgrade of the mousse for the filling, it makes a world of difference. Got a layer of chocolate and two layers of raspberry. (the raspberry is AWESOME)

Beautiful cake, great taste, never freezes cakes only uses fresh cakes! frosting very smooth, not to sweet and better than whip cream is the whipped buttercream! Very easy to work with, took idea and created the exact cake

Kirk's cakes taste amazing. It is true that your guest will not remember how the cake looked, but how it tasted. We love that his cakes are not too sweet, and the icing was perfect.

One of preferred/recommended vendors from our venue to choose from. The cake was included with our venue package. I gave the the vendor a picture of what I wanted and tried various types of cakes. They were delicious and the cake was beautiful. Paid additional for upgrade for type of cake filling, but was worth it.

Loved the cake! My top tier was chocolate flavor, and it was delicious! It was moist and full of flavor. I chose not to freeze it like most people told me to do. The cake was so good, I couldn't resist. The trial before the wedding really helps, however i was a little disappointed on difference of flavor between what i tasted at the trial, and the piece of cake I shared with my husband. The lemon cake was my favorite at the trial, therefore I made it the biggest tier. However, when my husband and I cut our cake at the wedding and fed it to each other, the cake was dry and bland. Nothing like the cake I had tried at the trial. Now i just hope the other tiers weren't the same.
In the end, I was happy with the service I received. The owner is great and knows what he's doing. The cake was beautiful.

The Baker's Oven did an amazing job on our cake. We had a traditional three tied caked with different flavors for every layer. The Baker's Oven gave us great options for flavors at our tasting. Their cakes are light, fluffy, and moist. They also provide the option to upgrade the frosting to Bavarian moose which just melts in your mouth. The baker is not very flexible as far as ideas but was willing to work with us. He does not work with fondant at all because it is difficult to work with and it tastes horrible. A lot of the ideas we brought in he would not do because it was made with fondant. We did compromise on a design and it turned out beautifully. I loved our cake and on our one year anniversary, he will remake us one of our favorite layers of our cake.

Kirk has the best wedding cakes, 'nuff said. He is highly recommended by all of the wedding vendors, and the happiness of his customers as they go in and out of his bakery is a testament to how delicious his things are. He offers a mousse filling that is wonderful, and his icing is the perfect level of sweetness. All of our guests remarked on how delicious the cake is. The presentation was flawless, and the taste of the cake as my husband shoved it in my face was pretty perfect :)

Now, as far as personality, he doesn't seem to like small talk. I think he is probably used to things being fast-paced. Regardless, his attitude didn't bother me, and I appreciated how straight-forward he is. Even if you don't like dealing with him, just order your cake and tell him what you want. I only really spoke with him a couple times for our wedding cake, and I never saw him on our wedding. Any unpleasantness is worth the taste of his cakes :)

We absolutely loved our wedding cake. It was delicious and tasted exactly like what we had at our tasting. Our largest tier was marble, middle tier was raspberry, and top tier was lemon. We opted to upgrade for the Bavarian mouse filling. It was definitely worth it. Kirk doesn't use fondant, but the details he can achieve with buttercream frosting are amazing. Our cake had a row of pearls at the bottom of each tier and an understated scalloped pattern at the top of each tier.

Our venue included the cost of the cake with our cost per head, but we chose to upgrade the size. The cost seemed reasonable. We also chose to rent the pedestal to elevate the cake. Kirk had one made to match the venue, so it seemed like a nice enhancement.

Kirk always seems to be busy and while he may come off as curt, he was able to follow-through with all of our requests and ensured he had all the information necessary from us. At times, I would have to leave messages or emails for Kirk, but he always followed-up promptly. We briefly explored having Kirk make additional cookies for our wedding favors, but he was unable to take on the extra workload.

Our cake was delivered on time and looked stunning in the venue.

Wedding cake was delicious!!! We chose a Raspberry puree filling with whipped cream. It was absolutley fabulous!! Our second tier was lemon cake also with whipped cream. I would definitly recommend the whipped cream topping as opposed to icing. It tastes so much better, Its fresh, and looks beautiful! It is a little bit extra, but very worth it!

Kirk is a quiet and down to the point guy who can make a mean cake! My husband and I didn't want a huge cake, but we wanted something tasty and beautiful. Done and done. Kirk made a beautiful cake that tasted fantastic. No fondit, just pure talent and pure amazingness at a great price!

We ordered our cake from the Baker's Oven in Riverside. We were first introduced to this vendor at a bridal open house at South Coast Winery. We ordered raspberry with a lemon bavarian creme, chocolate with a vanilla bavarian cream and a marble with vanilla bavarian cream. The cake was extremely moist and fresh. The cream was so light and fluffy. We received many compliments how delicious the cake was. Also, NO fondant was used but it was smoothed so well it appeared to look like fondant! Our elegant, yet modern cake complimented the rest of our decor and definitely made our big day complete.
