Beautiful wedding venue in Houston!
Our experience with The Astorian and our wedding contact, Addie Ford was 100% smooth from start to finish!! Addie was incredibly organized, open to fun ideas and made the event seamless! She was so good at keeping us on track with our timeline and we never once freaked out about anything! The Astorian is stunningly beautiful and 100% worth every penny. Mallory, with Jackson & Co. (caterer for the Astorian) was fabulous and so patient with our guests with many food allergies and concerns! The food was incredible! The day of the wedding we were calm and EVERYTHING went smoothly and as planned thanks to Addie’s hard work. I still have people call me to tell me Rachel and Cody’s wedding was so beautiful and special and that the venue was beautiful beyond belief! Thanks Addie, and Mallory and The Astorian for a wedding we will never forget!!! A++!! -

Best Wedding Day Ever ♥️
My husband and I had the best time at our wedding and a huge part of it was because of the Astorian team. Not only were they exceptional in coordinating with all our vendors and executing the program in an efficient and timely manner, but they made us feel at home. It was such a pleasant experience to be supported by a lovely and kind team who made sure my husband and I had quality time together and enjoyed the evening with our guests. Til this day, our family and friends continue to share what a time was had- a time full of joy, fun vibes, good food/music and love! We are grateful to the Astorian for truly making our wedding day special and unforgettable! ♥️ -

Our experience at The Astorian was nothing short of phenomenal; from our venue tour to the wedding night, our jaws never left the floor.
First and foremost, the beauty of The Astorian speaks for itself. As soon as we stepped off the third-floor elevator we knew we simply couldn’t, and wouldn’t, be married anywhere else. The bar is set far too high!! We joked that we wouldn’t even need flowers or décor; the empty venue was more beautiful than any décor-filled event space we’d ever stepped foot in. We were tired of touring white barns and faux-luxury, open-concept spaces. We wanted to be married somewhere with a timeless and sophisticated, yet sultry vibe. The Astorian truly nails this understated elegance. We had so many guests tell us that the entire evening felt like, “effortless luxury,” or “the most elegant dinner party.” However, what was so incredible to us, is that despite the grandness of The Astorian, the vastness of the space, and 175 guests being present, we still felt like every aspect of our wedding (ceremony, dinner, and dancing) was unbelievably intimate. The staff shepherds it, the floorplan encourages it, and the speakeasy atmosphere demands intimacy.
But most noteworthy, our Sales & Events Manager, Courtney McCormack, was single-handedly the best vendor we worked with throughout our entire wedding season. Her value was immeasurable. She consistently went above and beyond, made a point to build a relationship with us, always reassured and reaffirmed us, and was wildly patient with our hundreds of questions. Communication with The Astorian was easy and accessible; we never waited more than 24 hours for an email response, no matter the question or request. Their prioritization of the guest experience is evident, and nearly tangible. As first-time wedding planners with no prior knowledge of the industry, Courtney led us patiently and eagerly through the process. With Courtney on our team, we knew our wedding night would be nothing short of extraordinary; she simply wouldn’t have allowed it.
We will legitimately be oohing and ahhing over our wedding day for the rest of our lives. At least a dozen of our guests confessed to us that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. And we are keenly aware that The Astorian venue and team played a HUGE part in that success. The Astorian truly hosted us the wedding of our wildest dreams.

My husband and I got married at The Astorian in October 2024 and I cannot recommend this venue more! Aside from the space being absolutely beautiful, the team (specifically worked with Courtney & Rebecca) and staff were so incredible and helpful throughout my whole planning process & event. They were present and responsive in the weeks leading up to my wedding and super helpful during my final walkthrough with my coordinator. Throughout the entire night and even after, my guests were complimenting everything about the venue! 10/10 experience and would recommend The Astorian to anyone and everyone planning a large event! -

The Astorian was our dream wedding venue and it did not disappoint. It is truly the most beautiful venue. Not only that, but the staff was amazing to work with leading up to it and the day of. They took care of everything for us and were so attentive! They have everything down and we were so happy with everything. Their level of service and communication was amazing – every single one of them!!! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and staff (& they are still raving about it)! Additionally, our point person Addie was wonderful to work with - she answered every single question I had (there were a lot) in a timely and happy manner! They truly made sure we had the best day ever. We can’t recommend this venue enough!!! -

The Astorian has always been my dream venue and to host my wedding there was exactly that, a dream. The team was so great to work with and Deborah made it such a seamless and enjoyable experience. They even assisted my caterers and decor team with the major room flip during cocktail hour! One specific memory I had was that Daniel and the team made me special non-alcoholic signature cocktails and provided zero proof champagne. It really meant a lot that I got to partake with the rest of my guests and my husband. It's details like that that you really cannot put value to. I can't recommend this venue enough! -

I truly cannot find strong enough of words to describe our experience with The Astorian for our wedding. We feel so blessed to have been able to hold our wedding with this absolutely stunning venue. Our experience from the very beginning with the entire staff was superb. The entire staff was so helpful in connecting us with our vendors. I trusted every recommendation from Joe Pachouli and Deborah Rizzo, and both of their care and expertise was extremely impressive and appreciated. We were connected to our incredible Wedding Planner: Kiran + Leigh, our unbelievable photographer: Aisha Kahn and the most superb catering company: Jackson and Company Catering and from the very first day in planning to the very last hour everything was seamlessly planned out and performed to give us and our family and friends an incredible experience that we will remember and treasure forever. Again, I cannot find the right words to express how impressed and deeply appreciative we are to be able to say that we had our wedding at The Astorian. -

The Astorian and staff exceeded our every expectation!
My wife and I were recently married at The Astorian. We could not have found a better indoor venue for our wedding. From the beginning, Deborah, the GM, made us feel like their best clients. She was attentive to our every detail and desire. She worked closely with our wedding planner and other vendors to make sure our special day was perfectly executed. The staff from Jackson and Co. Catering was superb, as well as the gourmet food. Even the owners, Joe and Romain, made themselves available and attentive to our interests. We feel like they are all family. -

Love in the time of Covid
The Astorian was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding! We had our hearts set on this venue, but when Covid hit, weren't sure what our wedding would look like. They were responsive, accommodating, and just overall pleasant to work with, even as plans changed so frequently as covid numbers rose and fell. I am so grateful for Season and the team at the Astorian! -

Wedding Venue was a dream!!
We LOVED the Astorian! As if the venue wasn't beautiful enough, the staff was top notch. From the coordinators, bartenders, down to the custodial staff, they all did such a great job of making us feel comfortable and tended to. The Day of Coordinators, Season and Brianna, did an amazing job helping with the details. They made my life as the bride, a million times easier. I couldn't have imagined a better venue to host my wedding. The actual venue was so pretty, and the bridal suite and grooms suites were great. I have nothing but great things to say!! -

Everything I could have asked for!
Our daughter had her wedding here in November 2018.
The venue is spectacular, there is no need to add much of anything as far as decor.
Season and Brianna were amazing to work with. They made the day and everything leading up to the day run so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for better people to work with. All the staff and vendors were eager to please and meet all of our needs. -

Lauren Sent on 03/31/2018We got married at the Astorian February 2018 and have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience! The Astorian was everything my husband and I wanted in a venue – it's beautiful, unique, has a gorgeous view of the city - it's unlike any other place in Houston!
Our Event Planner was Season Olds, and she was beyond wonderful! Season was organized, detailed oriented, responsive, and was simply amazing to work with! Season communicated with all of our vendors and ensured everyone was on the same page! I cannot say enough great things about Season and the team at The Astorian…they were fabulous every step of the way!
For food, we used Cordua Catering and worked with Darla Hickman. Darla was a joy to work with and really made our dream come to life! We received so many compliments – the food was delicious, menu was creative, presentation was perfection! The beef tenderloin carving station, build your own avocado station, and doughnuts with bourbon milkshakes – such a huge hit! We loved working with Darla and Cordua Catering!
There were a lot of moving parts, but together with Season Olds (The Astorian) Darla Hickman (Cordua Catering) Natalie Dawley (Two Be Wed) and Sheli Salazar-Medina (Flora & Eventi) we had the wedding of our dreams!

Lindsey Sent on 02/10/2018We had SO many of our guests tell us it was the best reception and venue they’ve ever been to! Many guests from Houston as well as out of town; and they loved the downtown skyline. Not to mention the unique decor, lighting, and art of the Astorian. Not many places in central Houston can host a seated dinner for 350 guests and we were able to do just that at The Astorian without being crowded. The bar is huge and so great for guests to not get stuck in long, crowded lines. Easy access off I10. Our ceremony was 13 miles away and we got there in 20 minutes. The easiest decision my husband and I made in wedding planning. The first venue we saw and fell in love. Briana, our coordinator, was amazing and always helping with whatever our requests were. Even the bathrooms are beautiful. Love the Astorian and hope to have another party there!

Kasey Sent on 02/06/2018The Astorian was truly a hidden gem!! The outside doesn’t do the inside justice AT ALL!! From the beautiful interior to the remarkable views of downtown, this was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The Astorian also has both a bridal and groom suite which were both decorated very nicely, and were both large enough to accommodate the bridal party (7bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, hair dressers, makeup artists, and family) and then some comfortably. The decor was perfectly suited for our theme and we only needed to incorporate our colors. The pictures came out amazing as a result. The staff of the Astorian were extremely friendly and very pleasant to work with. At the end of our night everyone was having soooo much fun that they allowed us to extend our stay for an extra hour. If you’re considering wedding venues in Houston, the Astorian should definitely be at the top of your list! You will be very pleased, and I’m more than confident that they will far exceed your expectations as they did ours.

We could not have asked for a better experience. The bar staff was amazing and the entire team was able to cater to some of our very specific needs. The view of downtown Houston was spectacular and it was such a joy to experience our wedding here!

The Astorian was the perfect venue for my daughters wedding! Working with Season was easy, She was helpful, thoughtful and responsive to our needs. She made sure everything we asked for actually happened. The brides and grooms rooms are spacious and beautiful. The space was created with care and attention to detail. EVERYONE at the Astorian was helpful and accommodating. I can not say enough about how incredible the venue was. There are so many beautiful spots for taking photos. Most of our guests had never been to the Astorian and were all so complimentary. -
