We absolutely loved hosting our wedding at The Arbory. Shay was highly communicative and easy to work with. The space looked beautiful!

I cannot describe the gratitude I feel towards everyone at The Arbory. We felt extremely supported throughout the entire process. Shay Moran was absolutely an expert and a professional. She was extremely responsive and knowledgeable and her support was crucial in planning our wedding. On the day of the wedding, the staff at The Arbory were so capable and prepared that the day moved smoothly from start to finish. We didn't need to think about or help with any of the logistics and were able to really be in the moment and stay engaged in soaking up the day with our loved ones. We could not recommend a place more strongly!! The building is breathtaking and the staff are top notch. 10/10!

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces were laid out perfectly and the staff on-site was phenomenal. We received so many compliments of the space. You can truly dress it up/down as much as you like and it will still look great!

We loved this venue so much! The plants and decor are amazing. Shay was very helpful with all of our questions. We loved the video and Photo Booth. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our special day.

We truly could not have imagined a more perfect wedding venue. From the moment we toured the space, we were blown away. We were looking for a romantic, warm, and unique space for our fall or winter wedding and The Arbory checked all our boxes. Beyond the stunning setting, the venue offers so many wonderful perks that made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.

What truly sets this venue apart, though, is the people. Shay is exceptional! She is warm, professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your day everything you hope for and more. Their attention to detail, organization, and calm confidence made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. When people commented on how I was such a calm bride, I knew it was because Shay and her team were the best and we could relax and trust them to make our vision come alive.

We received countless compliments from our guests about the venue, the experience, and the incredible staff. Guests loved the romantic moody vibes, open space, and super fun photo and video booth! If you are looking for a venue that is not only stunning but also comes with outstanding service and thoughtful amenities this is truly a dream choice. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We had our November 2025 wedding at The Arbory and it was nothing short of perfect. Shay (venue manager) was SO RESPONSIVE and very helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure everyone had the appropriate information, provided helpful suggestions on layout and was all around easy to work with. We got so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the space was. There is a bridal suite and groom's suite which was very helpful for storing day of items and having a dedicated space for our personal belongings. We had just under 160 people and a large band and the space felt full but not overcrowded. Cannot recommend this space enough!!

Shay was so great to work with during the whole planning process from giving us a great tour from the beginning and answering all our questions until the end. The venue itself is stunning and one of our favorite parts are the string lights across the entire ceiling (which are included!). Our wedding vision really came to life in this space and would highly recommend to other couples!

Every single interaction with The Arbory both in person or through email was so professional and kind! They answered all of our questions all of the time. The wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything we dreamed of! We would absolutely recommend The Arbory to everyone!

What can we say about this venue — we had an absolute dream of a wedding here. The venue itself is stunning on its own and we absolutely loved it. Working with the staff there was so seamless and smooth - Shay really made everything so easy to plan. She was really efficient, clear, and quick to respond which we greatly appreciated. The photo and video booth was a fun add for our guests that we’re excited to be able to look back on now that the day is over. 

Our wedding was this past weekend (10.11.25) and we had nothing short of an amazing experience. It was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment my husband and I walked into The Arbory, we fell in love. Our venue search ended after we saw it! Coordinating with Shay was an absolute breeze! She was kind, patient, and so responsive no matter how many questions I had along the way. The entire team made the planning process stress-free and the day itself flowed seamlessly. The venue is not only stunning but filled with people who genuinely care about creating a magical experience. We are endlessly grateful to The Arbory for helping us start our forever in such a beautiful and meaningful way.

The Arbory was amazing and incredible to work with. The venue manager was extremely supportive, responsive and had great recommendations. While the venue is an investment, we had to bring in almost no other vendors for decor as it is so naturally beautiful. We also were able to have a condensed timeline (later HMU start time) because the venue had such beautiful portrait backgrounds and getting ready spaces, so we didn’t need to travel anywhere to take pictures nor do hair and makeup offsite. Thank you Shay and team!

The Arbory proved to be a fantastic venue for our wedding day and offered brilliant flexibility on floral decorations, guest count and other personalized elements. Shay, as the venue manager, was always extremely helpful and responsive and made the entire planning process seamless and stress-free. We just got married at The Arbory and absolutely loved every minute. The Venue was beautiful with all of the plants and details. It was evident they put a lot of thought and effort into providing a magical space perfect for any big event and especially for a wedding. There are so many venues in Chicago...when my now husband and I began our search, we had no idea where to start. We had several venues saved, and decided to go see The Arbory on a whim. The minute we walked in, we fell in love. The lighting, the plants, and all the tiny but intentional details really sold us. It felt like the perfect space to host all of our family and friends. Shay was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire process in making sure our day was amazing. We loved having our wedding here!!!

Cannot recommend the Arbory enough. The space itself is gorgeous, but the knowledgable staff is the cherry on top. Our wedding went off without a hitch and it was largely thanks to them!

The Arbory was the perfect venue for our wedding. We were able to do our ceremony and reception in the same location, everything was beautiful, and all of our needs were met. We wouldn’t have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else.

The Arbory was an absolute dream wedding venue for us! The space itself is stunning, with endless opportunities to personalize it and make it your own. The venue provides beautiful touches like string lights, candles, furniture, plants, and more to perfectly fit the vibe of any event. What truly stood out to us was Shay and the entire Arbory team. During our initial venue search, I had trouble reaching other venues, as Chicago is always busy with weddings! While we knew The Arbory was a popular spot, Shay was consistently responsive and incredibly helpful from the very beginning. This made a huge difference, as it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed during the planning process. We’re so grateful for the care and attention the team gave us, which made our experience all the more memorable!

The Arbory was the perfect venue for us to have our winter wedding reception. The venue alone is so beautiful and really encapsulated the romantic & intimate vibe we were looking for. The Arbory team was also so easy to work with. They were extremely helpful and really brought our vision to life. Our guests were in awe over the space...we still are, too! Nothing but great things to say about The Arbory!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Arbory as a wedding venue. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were blown away by the modern jungalow vibes and stunning surroundings. The space is so beautiful and full of living plants that helped us stretch our floral budget while still creating a gorgeous blossoming space! The team at The Arbory was incredibly accommodating and flexible, allowing us to set up the space exactly as we envisioned for our special day. The bridal suite is amazing and provided a great space for us as a couple to step away and connect throughout the nice. I would also note that we loved the built-in photo/video booth!

One of the most impressive moments was when they seamlessly flipped the ceremony space into the reception area, quickly and stealthily. It was truly a magical transformation. And I have to give a special shoutout to Shay, who went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect and that we were happy. The Arbory truly exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect backdrop for our dream wedding. Thank you to the entire team for making our day so unforgettable. We highly recommend The Arbory to anyone looking for a stunning and flexible wedding venue.

We loved our wedding at The Arbory! Everyone was really easy to work worth and the space was amazing! We loved the private room for pre/post ceremony and our guests loved the photo/video booth! The two semi-separate rooms made it so everyone could enjoy the party no matter their party style. Everyone felt included but you could also get away to chat. Everyone loved the greenery and murals and the lounge groupings were used all night! We loved having our wedding at The Arbory!

We had an incredible experience with The Arbory and are so happy to recommend it. We worked with Shay, whose attention to detail, professionalism, and quick responses helped our day run smoothly and put us both at ease. The venue itself is gorgeous, a perfect Chicago urban chic aesthetic, complete with beautiful murals, exposed brick, plants, natural light, and a stunning chandelier. The bridal suite is also a gorgeous perk that became a safe haven when we needed a moment of quiet. The photo ops are endless, the vibe is great, and it's truly a beautiful place to celebrate love in Chicago.

The Arbory is a beautiful venue and worked out perfectly for our wedding. We really enjoyed the attention to detail incorporated into the design of the space which made for a very unique event. Because the Arbory has so much decor already, we really didn't need to add much more. Shay and team are great to work with and handled our wedding wonderfully. They were able to provide flexibility which really helped with our tight schedule of events and the parking lot rental a block away was a huge bonus!

If you are looking for a loft-style venue in Chicago, where you don’t need to bring in a ton of decor to make the space beautiful, I would highly recommend The Arbory!

Shay and the whole staff at The Arbory were incredible to works with. They accommodated all of our last minute changes and additions with no issues at all. They worked with all of our vendors to ensure a seamless experience, not to mention the venue itself is amazing! The greenery and all of the in-house decor made for a picture perfect evening, and we would absolutely recommend The Arbory to everyone!

We had the wedding of our literal dreams at this venue! The Arbory is stunning and had everything i dreamed of- plants galore, with a beautiful chandelier and stunning bridal suite and wall art and brick! Every aspect is stunning! The aesthetic is one you know and instantly recognize/desire if it’s yours. Let me tell you it will never disappoint. Candle walls and plant walls, Even the bathrooms are on point lol. The event space aside, the team is incredible. The venue allows you to use vendors you desire, with their approval. You are able to choose anything to your hearts desires, and never forced into anything, which many venues do. I love this aspect, i was able to cater phenomenal food, and drinks vendors as well as do a lot of things myself due to their accommodations. They were so great, they also were able to hire out staff for me as well which was incredibly helpful as they were vetted and trustworthy.

Prior to the event they gave me great tours and explained so many things to me (when you know nothing about planning this is key and so helpful, kind, and considerate). They helped me find wedding insurance and explained so many steps. Lastly they were incredibly communicative throughout everything!! Emails like crazy and always responsive. I’m a project manager in my daily life so trust me when i say they were great at project management and communication!

The staff were so sweet and said they really enjoyed the event as well. We’re Arab and had a cultural wedding and they were so accommodating to changes and lateness and many aspects that they may not have been used to! We typically have large events but we managed to commit to the 190 limit and i’m so happy we did because it was STUNNING AND MAGICAL!! Thank you to everyone at the Arbory for all your help!

The space is very intimate and really allows for a stunning event. Everyone loved it!

We loved having our wedding at The Arbory, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue. The plants and candles on the walls helped create a beautiful setting without having to bring in a ton of outside decorations, the skylights added nice natural light during the day, and the video booth added a unique touch. Abby, the owner of The Arbory, was super helpful when showing us around and getting us started, and then Shay went above and beyond as our coordinator. All our communication with Abby and Shay leading up to the weekend was clear and timely, and then everything went smoothly incorporating our other vendors on the day of the wedding.

Shay is amazing! She was great from the beginning of showing us the space to the very end. Her communication about floorplan was so great and she was patient with me as I was figuring out updates!

The space speaks for itself - the woodwork on the doors, the brick, the plants, the lights - the photo opportunities are endless. The ease of flipping rooms went so smoothly and everyone loved being able to spend time in the space. They worked so well with my brother's band to make sure they were set up to play. We are so happy with our decision to get married at The Arbory!

The Arbory is perfection. Shay is amazing. We couldn't ask for a more perfect wedding day. The lighting, layout, murals, and plants! It all makes the venue feel so special and unique. During our wedding we received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and that they had never been to such an incredible space. If I could afford to get married every weekend, I would have my wedding at The Arbory every time.

We had the best experience at the Arbory for our January wedding. Our venue rep, Shay, was wonderful and so easy to work with. The venue has relationships with so many other local wedding vendors, and they made it very easy to coordinate all the moving parts. The space was perfect for our 100 guests to move about with plenty of space. The 2 separate rooms make it so easy logistically to do a ceremony into cocktail hour with a room flip, and moving people from one room to the next was no issue at all. So many of our guests loved the space, and said it was so "us". We had the best day ever.

We recently hosted our wedding at the Arbory and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is gorgeous and Shay and the team are so helpful. Shay worked with us throughout the entire process and was super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Definitely recommend the Photo Booth! It’s so fun to see the pictures post event too :)
The space is truly stunning!!

The Arbory is located in a convenient-to-reach but not too crowded neighborhood, West Town. The venue is very beautiful, and incorporates plants seamlessly and naturally as per its namesake. It is also fairly priced. The staff are very professional and responsive, providing a great tour as well as a detailed walkthrough before the wedding day!
We loved working with them, and our guests all commented on how amazing the venue was. Highly recommended.

The Arbory is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff are lovely. We consistently received prompt replies to any email questions we sent over. From touring, to booking, to day of, everything was seamless and easy! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the greenery and lounge furniture are such nice touches. Having tables and chairs through the venue is also a huge benefit. The murals on the walls make gorgeous photo backdrops. There is currently construction on the road, so you can’t park right in front of the venue, but there is free street parking right around the corner, and none of our guests had any issues. Overall, the Arbory is a phenomenal venue!

The Arbory was the perfect venue for our wedding. We love plants and having lots of natural greenery in the space was a big selling point for us, not to mention the beautiful natural light from the sky lights and industrial chic vibe that permeates the space. With the help of our wedding planner and design team we were able to make use of the space to have it match exactly what we envisioned. Working with the team was very smooth leaving us with lots of energy to focus on other aspects of the day. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I had our dream disco wedding at the Arbory this past August. The space is absolutely stunning. Even though we went a bit overboard with disco balls and tons of extra greenery for our "Jungle Boogie" wedding, you really don't need much for this venue. The murals, greenery walls, pops of plants, and skylights makes this space incredibly unique and inviting. The videobooth guestbook was a hit, our guests absolutely loved it. We especially loved watching them ourselves post wedding as we re-lived the night. Now onto the people who helped make it happen. Allison was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way during our 1 year of planning. When we came across any obstacles she was ready with a solution. We seriously could not have picked a better place for our dream wedding. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this venue :)

In love with this venue! Absolutely beautiful with all of the plants, natural wood, exposed bricks. The skylights brought in some gorgeous sunshine during the day and we could peep the moon through it at night! We had about 130 guests and it was a perfect size. We wanted lots of dancing- the room we transitioned to for dancing allowed for some people to sit or stand on the size while still feeling all a part of dancing.
