Amazing Experience
I specifically went back to this site because I remembered Courtney's 1 star review from when I was searching for wedding planners earlier this year. I'd like to say my experience with Lani Bailey could not have been more opposite. I had a four month engagement, and planning the wedding of my dreams would not have been possible without Lani. My wedding day was perfect, and I have no regrets. Lani guided me through every step of the planning process, staying in regular communication with me over email. She helped me find the most fabulous local vendors even though I was aiming for a fairly low $25,000 budget. On the day of the wedding, I never had to worry about where I needed to be. No one was bombarding me with questions. She managed every detail, even pieces I never would have thought of considering. Please consider choosing Lani as your wedding planner. You will not regret it.-

American Rose Garden
Loved the venue with all the beautiful roses, chapel, beautiful bridal suit, and reception hall. The venue was just what we were looking for! It had the flowers, painting and artistic feel, as well as the areas needed for getting ready, preparing the food, and much more. Truly is a stunning venue and the staff and the venue, Mrs. Lou, is amazing! She does everything in her power to make sure not only your day goes prefect, but that everything is beautiful and how it is supposed to be. -

Lou has been very responsive to our needs as well as returning emails an text messages. She is very friendly and easy to work with. All our answers and concerns have been detailed and we are looking forward to our day next year! -

Booking a Wedding.
I emailed the wedding planner at the American Rose Center, and was sent a response email within 1 hour. The wedding planner answered all of my questions thoroughly in her responsive emails, and then found a date and time for my mother and I to come meet with her. After our meeting with the wedding planner, my mother and I knew this was the perfect place to book my wedding. Working 24 hours we had the wedding and reception booked, and we both felt a since of relief about the wedding! I am excited beyond words to have my wedding at this location. I know everything will be beautiful. -

I called the American Rose Center because I think it is beautiful what I didn't expect was how wonderful and helpful they are at the Rose Center, super accommodating and helpful advice. Thank you ARC, you were a big part of my wedding being so beautiful and perfect! -

We used the gardens chapel for the ceremony and a small party room for the reception. It was very pretty and everything turned out well. Biggest complaint was flexibility. Had to call an employee everytime we wanted to go over because there wasn't anyone there most of the time. Also, the day of the wedding they had a construction site that they had not warned us about in advance but it was not a problem other than it wasn't the prettiest. Over all a good experience. -

Unprofessional, Unhelpful, and Rude.
I had my wedding here on Oct 13, 2024. Their Event Coordinator, Lani, and by extension their Director, Claire, and two of the most unprofessional people I have ever met that seriously suck at customer service and event planning. Some examples: when asking what time we are allowed to arrive for our wedding, I had to argue and ask to be allowed to arrive 4 hours prior to use the included bridal suite (they expected us to arrive at the wedding start time and not a minute sooner). When asked when we could decorate, we were told only during business hours but then they back tracked and said we had to wait 2+ hours for another event to be tore down (mind you our wedding had been planned months in advance). We also were told we had to have everything tore down and taken away IMMEDIATELY after our wedding and we had to pay for an extra hour to do so after my wedding ended. Can any brides out there imagine moving 80+ chairs and cleaning up all decor with family and friends right after your wedding? Because I had to and their event coordinator sat in the offic, didn't ask if we needed help, and refused to allow us to use their golf cart to move chairs from the garden to a truck. Oh, and the icing on the cake: not 5 minutes after me and my new husband walk into the reception area, Lani the event coordinator storms in, tries to remove spare chairs from under guests already seated, yells at my family, and causes a huge scene AT. MY. WEDDING. And let's not forget that the garden was covered in half put up Christmas decorations (on Oct 13th) and boxes from the event the night before (funny how that event could leave stuff to be picked up at a later date but not us...). The gardens were also in poor conditions with weeds in abundance near the 3rd circle where we were wed. I could go on about their piss poor management and severe lack of customer service but I don't ever want to think about these people anymore. Every time I would ask a simple question, it was met with defensiveness, immediate negativity, and their event coordinator did the absolute bare minimum both before and during our wedding. -
