  Rachelle was great, fun to work with, and easy going. We were invited to several food tastings/vender shows, and were able to get a good feel for what we could expect on our wedding day. The Adelmann is a beautiful venue in the heart of downtown Boise! All of our guests thought it was the perfect place for our wedding!

  I had both my ceremony and reception at the Adelmann, they were also my caterer. Everything was wonderful and ran smoothly. The food was delicious and they were flexible with my requests.

  The Adelmann is simply a gorgeous venue and was our first choice when we were looking. The building has its own charm and you can't beat their awesome bar! The staff is very helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed working with Emily and she took the time to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch. Despite a few hiccups, The Adelmann quickly rectified the issue, but it definitely did not distract from our awesome wedding. The catering is incredible and our guests are still raving about the food! We also really appreciated that The Adelmann hosts frequent tasting events so you're able to try a variety of their food & wine before you prepare your own wedding menu. Overall, we would definitely recommend this venue. Thank you so much!

  The Adelmann helped to make my wedding perfect! Emily was a JOY to work with. She did everything she could to take away the stress of the day. There was no event the night before our wedding, so she let us come in the day before to set up as much as we could early. She had some excellent recommendations for how to help the evening transition smoothly. We had only our reception at the Adelmann, so we used the same room for dinner and dancing. After everyone ate and the toasts were given, her crew seamlessly broke down some tables as our guests refreshed their drinks and got ready for dancing.

  We loved this venue for our wedding and had a great time. They delivered on everything promised and were very helpful with some of the special needs we had. Everything was delivered as promised and we had countless compliments on what a great venue it was. The only thing was that at times it was hard to get prompt communication, although we also understand it is the holiday season and thus a busier time of year. If we have cause in the future we will absolutely use this venue again.

  The venue was beautiful! Our wedding turned out exactly how we wanted. The venue has a great tuscan feel to it. The only issues that came up were we got stuck in between transition of managers so there were a few issues with being able to taste the food and being notified when the tastings were, but we were able to do a private tasting and everything worked out. The food was amazing and it was beautiful! The Adelmann is a beautiful place to do an event and the owner Karen is awesome!

  We had our ceremony and reception at the Adelmann and very happy that we did. Among other venues in the valley it was a fairly competitive price. We had our ceremony on a Sunday and had a smaller crowd (~50 guests including wedding party). We were able to have a practice reception AT the Adelmann which was very convenient. This location does not have a very easy "get ready" room however that did not impede on our plans at all, most can do without and we did. This location does not have a very easy "get ready" room however that did not impede on our plans at all, most can do without and we did. We had numerous compliments from our guests about the venue's appearance and staff's positive attitudes. The colors and lighting of the Adelmann melded well with our colors of Champagne and Tiffany Blue. The lighting in the summer afternoon can be harsh on some pictures but we managed. The Bartender was great and the staff was wonderful in the transition and clean up of their stuff. I was able to get things done from staff members if I needed anything. We chose not to include the second room and very glad we made that decision. It would have spread out our few guests too much. We had an outside DJ and it would have made things difficult with the second room.
  
  My only look back and recommendations is to make yourselves more readily available, often times it took a day or two to reach out to the general manager and get a reply back. Also consider allowing outside catering for less of a fee. We enjoyed our dish that we had, and had good compliments on the taste but allowing outside catering would let couples choose more of their favorite dishes to have at their own wedding. I understand that's a large part of the income from having a chef on site but it diminishes couples choices on food that they may like as opposed to his cooking style as well as help with couple's budgets.
  
  I worked primarily with Emily and she is a wonderful coordinator and worked with us the entire time on budget and planning.

  The Adelmann is a beautiful venue to get married in. Our ceremony and reception were at the venue and we had a wonderful time. The rooms are set up perfectly to transition from ceremony to dinner and then to the reception. I couldn't have asked for a better evening.   The Adelmann is a beautiful venue to get married in. Our ceremony and reception were at the venue and we had a wonderful time. The rooms are set up perfectly to transition from ceremony to dinner and then to the reception. I couldn't have asked for a better evening. The bar is a great hit as well since it's right next to the dance floor and they have couches for the guest when they need a break.
  
  I have to agree with the last review that they do charge you for every little thing, so expect to pay a little more. I didn't mind but my only beef was the credit card transaction. I paid my final invoice and AFTER they ran the credit card they mentioned that I would have to pay their 3% transaction fee. I asked them if I could cancel the credit card transaction and pay cash but I didn't hear back from them until a couple days before the wedding and it was total chaos at that point and I didn't want to deal with anything else so I let it go. So after the wedding invoice there is a nice little couple hundred dollar charge on it for the fee. If you want to save a couple hundred dollars, pay cash, apparently the thousands of dollars you pay them won't cover their 3% fee.

  My wedding turned out beautiful and this venue is nothing short of breath taking. For the price we paid I was not impressed by the quality and service we received. Upon showing up for our final run through they looked puzzled at us when we walked in the door asking what we were doing there. They had forgotten our appointment. You also have to pay extra for basically everything. The price on the website is literally just for the rooms themselves. You have to pay to rent the linens, the sound system, the napkins, and you have to buy wedding insurance, can't take leftovers, bring any sort of food or drink in and a gallon of lemon aid is... The venue is beautiful and I guess worth it so they can be like this. When I got there to decorate for my wedding day the chairs were filthy with dust, the floors were not clean and the glass cups were ridiculously water spotted. My wedding turned out amazing and I have no complaints there, and none of this would have bothered me if I had not dropped thousands. If you are going to charge for an upscale venue I just feel you should act and treat your customers like it.

  • Dinner was an hour late. We specifically stressed that dinner had to be on time at 6 pm because we had small children and people with health issues. It was so important to us that we told them to start dinner even if we were not there.
  • Dinner was served cold. We had both chicken and tri-tip steak. Chicken was supposedly good, the tri-tip steak was tough and cold.
  • Bar tenders where not properly trained in pouring wine. Not a big deal if you don’t care, however when you pay for expensive wine and you take into consideration that their other venue is a winery… you expect the bar tenders to know what they are doing.
  • Not enough staff was hired to work our event. We had 150 people and they hired two servers and two bar tenders. My DJ and photographer had to help bus tables and glasses to clear tables for dinner.
  • Bar tender was taking shots and partying with my guests. She was rude to the women and was hitting on the groomsmen. My husband doesn’t drink and watched her poor the vodka and take the shots. She tried to lie about taking the shots… but the Adelmann has cameras.
  • I had to pay extra for my DJ’s over time because dinner was late.
  • Trying to get any type of refund for my event was like pulling out teeth. We saved for 4 years and waited 8 years to get married. I don’t wish this experience upon anyone and highly recommend going somewhere else for your wedding event.
