Phenomenal in every way!

We were set to get married in 07/2020 but had to push it out one year due to the pandemic. I couldn't have asked for a more outstanding vendor to work with! Acoustic Generation was so accommodating, easy to work with, and communicative throughout the entire process. Liz was a guiding light during the planning process and really helped to structure our entire day-of schedule!

Aside from being superb professionals, Liz & Matt were also incredible musicians. On top of MCing and organizing chaos, they also played live music throughout our ceremony & our brunch reception. We heard rave reviews from all of our guests about the band. We wish that we could have had a dance floor (COVID precautions) because I have no doubt that they would have been fantastic as well!

Best day ever

When it came time to select a musicians, we thank our lucky stars we found you! We are still in awe when we look back on everything you and Matt did for us before, during, and after the wedding. Without your help our special day would not have been the picture-perfect event we always dreamed of. Your planning, preparation, and attention to detail was amazing. Thank you so much. Matt and Linsea did a stellar job DJing and playing/singing for our wedding reception!
I had a good feeling about them when we saw their website, and truly they went above and beyond our expectations. I wanted to have some live music, but a live band through the whole reception wasn’t really financially an option for us. Matt and Linsea were the perfect choice, providing live music for our cocktail hour and dinner and DJing the rest of the evening. Guests continuously came up to us and commented on how incredible they sounded (a few people asked if they had an album), and they did a fantastic job of getting everyone up and dancing and leading the evening smoothly. I can’t speak highly enough of them. They are spectacular, and they really made our wedding something special.

They did a great job -- we made some spontaneous changes during the reception, and they were great about rolling with it. Great music, and we loves the combination of live music and DJ service.

Matt and Linsea absolutely made our wedding the huge, amazing party that it was! They sang and played live during cocktail hour, dinner, and our first dance, and then DJ'd for the rest of the night. It was the perfect combination! We were blown away by how well they were able to take our music taste into account and read the room. The dance floor was never empty, and very few people were sitting in their seats once they started playing!

Matt and I spoke a couple of times before the wedding to go over song preferences, and to answer any of my questions. He made it really simple and easy to plan. They were very flexible about how many hours they'd play, and were happy to set up outside for cocktail hour and move indoors for the rest of the night. Matt made all the bridal party introductions, toast announcements, etc. and kept the night moving with ease.

We had originally heard them play at our friends' wedding a few years ago, which was more of a quieter wedding where the live music was meant to be subtle, chill and in the background - Acoustic Generation adapted their sound for this perfectly. For our wedding, on the other hand, we told them we wanted our cocktail hour to be more like a happy hour with upbeat, louder music to get the party started - they knocked it out of the park, as well, and were the life of the party! Their flexibility and ability to adapt to every style of evening speaks volumes about their talent as performers and professionals.

Matt and Linsea were essential to giving the night the perfect atmosphere. They're very easy and fun to work with - I'll be recommending them to all my friends!

The Acoustic Generation were simply amazing. My wife took care of all of the research, booking, etc and just told me who to write the check to. I can't put into words how impressed I was with their music and professionalism. The first time I met them was right before we were introduced and they immediately impressed me; they continued to be spot on with music and MCing our wedding - they are both amazingly talented musicians and singers! They played for our cocktail hour and reception and nearly everyone who was there came up and told us how amazing they were. We couldn't be happier that we booked them, it definitely was the perfect addition to our reception.

Matt and Liz were amazing. The combination of live music and dj services was the deciding factor for us (and very reasonably priced); the live music got rave reviews from all the guests. Matt was very easy to work with. Highly recommend them!

Great two person band with dj services, lights ect. They were great. It is something that guests keep talking about! One of our music friends tried to hire them for his wedding. He was too late and they were booked up. Very professional, reliable and in budget too. They also coordinated ceremony music with our singer.

Acoustic Generation make a wonderful pair! Matt and Linsea are so talented and very easy to work with. They listen to your requests and make it happen! The combination of live music and a DJ sets them apart from anyone else out there. We received so many compliments on our reception because of the music. It was a great mix and the dance floor was always full! Thank you so much, you guys truly helped make our day amazing!

Absolutely wonderful!! They performed during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner service then DJ'ed for the reception. Their performance during the ceremony was beautiful and was the start of my happy tears!! They were very accommodating to our artistic family and allowed other performances to be done throughout the evening. It is very easy to get responses from them through email or phone! Everyone just raved on how great they perform and how wide of a range of different music genres that they play from. They have something for everyone! We loved having them at our wedding and would recommend them to anyone!

The live music they played was probably the most talked about part of our wedding. They were a hit. Not only did they teach themselves how to play a specifically requested song for the father daughter dance, but when the audio on my mothers slideshow died, they picked up their guitars and played the perfect music as if it had been planned all along. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Very professional and personable. We would recommend them for anything, not just weddings.

Matt and Lindsea were awesome. They are amazing guitarists and singers. Very versatile. They even brought a horn player (Julian) per our request. They were probably the easiest vendor I've ever worked with! And they are great DJs too. We had a BLAST thanks to them!!!!!!!!

We had Acoustic Generation play during our cocktail hour and out of the whole day we probably the most compliments on how fun the cocktail hour was! We have family members trying to book them for future gigs and constantly checking their schedule to see if they're playing somewhere we can go see them :)

We had a specific idea of what we wanted, we went to go see Acoustic Generation at a local bar. During their break we introduced ourselves and told them what we were looking for, when they started playing again they played a set specifically geared toward what we wanted! It was amazing and we knew immediately we wanted to book them.
