I'm a December 2025 bride and my experience with The 101 has been amazing! I originally booked for July but had to change dates, and they were so flexible and understanding. The venue itself is gorgeous with an open-concept layout that’s super versatile—it really allows you to make it your own.
I’m working with Alison through their partial planning package, and she has been such a calming presence. I'm an anxious bride who doesn’t always know what I want, but she's patient, creative, and always quick to respond. I truly feel supported every step of the way. Highly recommend The 101 and their planning services! -

Best night of our lives!!!
We had the most incredible wedding night ever at the 101!!! Our planner, ally, was amazing and made us feel like a celebrity couple!! Literally have no regrets at all and would do nothing differently. She made it SO perfect for us. the 101 is so special and we are SOOOO happy we chose it!!!!! -

Ally (our wedding planner through the 101) and the 101 team were absolutely wonderful in helping us plan our celebration and the venue was perfect. They truly made us feel like we were their only clients. The venue has so much character, yet it's so customizable depending on how you want it set up. I can't recommend Ally enough - she was SO on top of everything for us so we didn't have to stress at all. I don't know how they do it so gracefully (I would be stressed out of my mind with so many events going on) - the service really is above and beyond. -

As a wedding DJ I see hundreds of venues. If you are lookin for a hip space in the city with LOTS of space I recommend this venue. I would recommend 32 uplights and 4 speakers to round out the sound. Anything less will look sparse. With the right dance lights and speakers this can make your dance party feel like a club

SaeternItUp wedding come true!
Due to COVID. We did not just postpone our wedding once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!
THE 101 was so amazing about adjusting their schedule towards our needs. We were so impressed from the beginning. The communication was impeccable, the response time was quick!
The venue is an open canvas. So that allowed my husband & I to be creative in so many ways. From our floral to our decor. But of course, we wanted it to be minimal because the venue itself was already gorgeous! Red brick wall, white brick wall & our favorite GLASS WINDOWS!!!
THE 101 team has so many great people. Everyone on the team was very thoughtful & kind. I don't think I would've wanted my wedding anywhere else than THE 101!!! -

I got married at The 101 on July 6, 2019. Not only am I lucky to have gotten married before the pandemic hit, but I am so lucky to have gotten married at The 101.
There were so many things I loved about our wedding - but The 101 and my Sarah Seven dress are tied for first place.
I discovered The101 before it was even open. I toured when it was under construction and fell in love with the space the minute I stepped foot in the door - even though it was covered in dust and tarps. Actually I think I fell in love with it just walking up alongside the building, with the brick, and perfect Pioneer Square Doors and incredible hanging flower pots. And when the space was finally done - it was perfect to me. It was modern without being too modern, a little rustic with the beams and brick, had incredible lighting at all times of the day - with the floor to ceiling windows that gave a sense of openness and made you feel good about having an indoor wedding on a beautiful summer day.
I also very much enjoyed planning our wedding with my 101 Coordinator. She was extremely responsive and on top of things, and helped me work thru all the changes that fell in my way. Because the space was such a beautiful blank slate, it was a fun challenge to plan our big day from where the DJ would be, to where the ceremony would happen to how the direction of the tables for dinner. From day one I knew that everything was under control and taken care of. I enjoyed the planning process with my Coordinator (who I now consider a friend) so much I would do it over and over again if I could!
And then there was the big day. It went off without a hitch. Everything was better than I even could have even imagined. Countless guests came up to me to tell me how beautiful and wonderful the venue was. I was not surprised - I already knew this. BEST. WEDDING. DECISION. EVER! -

The 101 is everything I look for in a venue - it has the character of old Pioneer Square, but not so much that you can't make it your own. It has floor to ceiling windows for tons of natural light, so you can have great portraits and ceremony photos, even on a rainy day. It's also such a big space that you can easily separate into your ceremony/dinner/dance areas. -

Love this blank slate with plenty of character
The 101 in Seattle is a gem. With its floor to ceiling windows, red brick walls, white brick walls and exposed beams and wood pillars - this open venue lends itself to lots of character. You can dress it up, or keep it simple and it still has plenty of charm. I love they allow you to bring in furniture & bars to your liking to enhance the look and feel of your event. Happy Hour Designer Bars has great bars to choose from!
The staff is wonderful to work with and very flexible.
This venue gets a star rating in my book- easy access, friendly staff and reasonable flexibility.

PNWP Monthly Mingle Meeting
Recently we hosted a networking group meeting at The 101 and we had a 5 out of 5 stars experience! We worked with Grace and from start to finish she was pleasant, welcoming, responsive, and super professional. During our meeting she and her counterpart were great hosts and went above and beyond to help all our guests feel welcomed. Besides the friendliness of the staff, the venue it’s self can hold it’s on. The open space leaves so much room for creative expression. As a florist myself I was excited to see the exposed brick in one area, white wall in another, and big floor to ceiling windows in another! Lastly, they have a preferred vendor list of talented and reliable professionals who can meet all you wedding or special event needs. We recommend The 101 to anyone looking for the perfect venue for their intimate wedding or event! -

One of the best venues in Seattle
The 101 is one of my favorite venues in Seattle! In the heart of Pioneer Square it’s so convenient for your event and I LOVE how the space is so versatile. With the red brick, white brick and huge windows there are so many different backdrops that you can create multiple different vibes and because everything is neutral you can really make it anything you want it to be. Grace and Sara are so great to deal with and everything was just so seamless and easy. Excited to go back for another event in October, if not before! -

From start to finish, The 101 staff was the best. Sara was SO on top of it. They had amazing recs for other vendors, but were not at all pushy. Ultimately, my dreams came to life in a major way and our day was perfect. Cannot recommend The 101 enough!!! -

The 101 was the perfect venue for our wedding on July 20th, 2019. It allowed us the flexibility to pick what we want to do and how we want to decorate. We had about 185 and it was a big enough spot where you didn’t crowded at all. Sara is a great wedding coordinator and really easy to work with. We would throw another party at the 101 just to work with her again. Her and Gordon came through in the clutch multiple times on the wedding day! We never were worried and that allowed us to focus on the day. Thanks again for all your help! -

What an amazing venue and staff! We worked with Sara who was fabulous and extremely accommodating. The venue itself is gorgeous with beautiful light and we couldn't have been happier about choosing the 101 for our wedding. Gordon was the night manager for the day of the event and he was so helpful and easy to work with. We are SO happy that we were lucky enough to work with this venue!! -

I fell in love when I first saw the 101, even my husband too. We booked this place immediately and we are so grateful that Alison helped us out so much. I had so many questions and concerns since I had never done this before. She is definitely above and beyond. This venue is gorgeous and they have all the things you need, chairs tables, cocktail tables, and many other things. I really happy I got so many cute photos and this venue made us so happy -

Great venue that holds 200 guests, very flexible with vendors you are able to bring in as well. The 101 has a large space for any needs and very versatile. Communication was great with any questions through out the entire process, would recommend. -

I loved having my wedding at THE 101 - the space is spacious and stunning, and it was perfect for me since I planned my entire wedding. Having the vendor flexibility is so great, especially if you have a specific vision. The team was also so amazing to work with, both leading up to the day, and during the event. Sara and Gordon are a dream team.
We rented the space the day before the wedding, which was a game changer for set up and prep. If you have the budget to do this, I HIGHLY recommend it. Once we costed out the rehearsal dinner at nearby restaurants, it actually made more sense to rent THE 101 the day before to set up and host the rehearsal dinner.
Some things to be aware of: getting the venue at 10am on the day of the wedding means you may not be able to have a rehearsal the night before and load in/set up is very tight. Just something to note as you look. It was something we kind of thought more about later as we were trying to plan.
I would definitely recommend this venue and wish I could do my wedding all over again because it was so great. -
