  Beautiful, timeless photographs!!

  Kara understood exactly what I had in mind for my engagement and wedding day photos. She worked so hard with us to make sure we had the exact vision we've always dreamed of for our photos. She does a fantastic job of capturing special moments that you will want to hold on to forever! Highly, highly recommend!!

  MVP of the wedding!

  Hiring Kara was the best wedding decision we made! From the moment we met her for our engagement shoot we knew it was a perfect fit. We traveled from out of town for the photos and Kara was so flexible when our original day was rained out. We had such a great time working with her we couldn’t wait for our wedding day! My husband has a large family and Kara was awesome about getting all the family photos they wanted in addition to wedding party and just my husband and I. I wasn’t feeling great on our wedding day and Kara went above and beyond in making sure I had water and crackers and could take breaks between photos while working with our planner to ensure we were staying on schedule. Our photos are more incredible than we ever could have dreamed of and we can’t imagine our wedding day without Kara and her team there. Brides, do yourself a favor and hire Thankfully Taken!

  Kara is seriously the sweetest person you will ever meet! Her work is amazing and she goes over the top for her brides. She is such a fun, loving, Godly person! She shot my wedding this past weekend and i can't rave enough about her. Highly recommend her! Very professional and one of the best around! If you want someone to take good care of you on your wedding day, Kara is the choice! I have received so many compliments from the photos she has shot! She's amazing!

  Every Bride's Dream!

  My personal experience working with Kara was everything I could have dreamed of! My best friend recently decided to work with Kara too for her special day solely because of witnessing how wonderful and calm she made my wedding day happen. PLUS her photography work is stunning!

  Ladies, if you want a photographer who can make an extrovert out of a the shyest guy I know (AKA my sweet Groom), hire Kara with Thankfully Taken. If you want someone who can make you smile and remember the reason for the season (of getting married, that is - cause don't we all know - it gets STRESSFUL), hire Kara! If you want your pictures to look like they should be on the cover of Southern Bride Magazine, hire Kara (and I absoultely MEAN this one - gorgeous work, y'all). I cannot brag on this sweet woman enough. She has a heart of PURE GOLD and her pictures are a reflection of that. 10/10 highly recommend her beautiful work! -XOXO Cale & Lindsey Alexander

My sister delivered her baby the night of our wedding and Kara even followed us to the hospital to capture the birth! She went above and beyond from the moment we signed and I’d choose her 1000 times over!
