More Than Just a DJ

We have used Tara Feeley Entertainment for many years and not only is she a wonderful DJ, she does an amazing jpb as the master of ceremonies by entertaining the audience and helping our organization with our fundraising event. Tara has become part of our Rotary family.

A snowy day!

My fiancé and I met Tara at the Buttonwood wedding expo. There she spoke to us in great detail about wedding entertainment.
She provided us with a lot of information and when we saw her performance we were sold.
Once We picked our venue and date we reached out to her.
We had several meetings where she spoke to us for hours going through the music venue and even making fabulous vendor suggestions.
When planning our music, she talked with us and asked us many questions to Taylor, our music to fit our theme and energy.

With planning something so large and Detailed, we suffered stress and I lost of my best friend.

Soon after we met with Tara again, and she comforted And supported us even further.
She was a shining light, but I didn’t know how much I needed.

As plans progressed, she still met with us for hours To run through Our wedding day schedule, the bridal party procession in and out of the ceremony, as well as the introductions.

The wedding day could not have gone more perfect. It Even snowed a little bit!

The weather was freezing, but the ceremony was warm and emotional. The whole experience working with Tara has been nothing short, a professional, customized, and genuinely made it feel unique and personalized. And even though our plans changed, Tara provided us with a surprise.

Tara, Thank you so much for all of your support, guidance and fantastic advice. We have only praised you to everyone who has asked. Thank you, thank you thank you!

Amazing, amazing DJ

Tara came recommended from a friend who used her for her wedding, and I am so glad we decided to choose her for our own wedding! She has such a bubbly personality that you can't help but smile and have fun with her, which is a great quality for a DJ to have. Leading up to the wedding day, she was very responsive via email and we had a long planning session where we got to know each other really well and plan our day. On the wedding day it really felt like a friend was DJ-ing for us, and she knew exactly which songs to play to get our guests on the dance floor. Afterwards, our guests had so many compliments for Tara and how great she was. She also has an amazing singing voice, so if you book her and ask her to sing at your event you won't be disappointed! We are so happy we went with Tara for our wedding, I cannot recommend her enough!

Amazing Services and so personalized!

So thought long and hard about this review. My Husband and I both have severe social anxiety, in short we don’t like people.! We went into a zoom meeting with her knowing this. It lasted 3.5 hours. She collected all our stories and got to know us and had a genuinely good time doing so. Which if you have social anxiety you know at 2 hours in your a little drained. While we were at our limit it wasn’t hard to speak with her. The conversation was light hearted and good. Well come our wedding she made use of every minute of our meeting. All our stories and our sarcastic humor made it through with her. Our music was so spot on we had everything we wanted. Guests were complimenting her the entire night! At one point one of groomsmen were telling us how she was killing it only for to look over and realize she was serenading us! Her voice was so amazing no one realized she was singing! Everything was catered to us perfectly. Her price was on point and did not break the bank, even after I made a mistake with the time she stayed an hour longer than our contract stated! The flow of the night was amazing no one was bored and she made sure to be able to space out our dances and still have the importance of them noted as the night went on. We we’re beyond lucky to have found her! She gets a 5 star review. We noted that her prices were on the reasonable side and was told you get what you pay for… but I’m telling you she can charge more and it would be worth every penny! If you want someone to come to your wedding who absolutely adores their job and will make your night memorable I highly recommend Tara!

Run, don’t walk to Hire Tara

Where do I even begin? I got married 3 weeks ago…From the moment I started working with Tara she was a dream. My sister had used her 8 years ago and from that moment I knew I had to have her. She made the planning process with music SO EASY. Her online portal makes everything simple and then we had a meeting with her prior to the wedding to go over every single detail. At the wedding she was set up and ready to go on time, and made our ceremony so beautiful. I had some crazy requests with music too! Then at cocktail hour she put our songs in an order to get everyone ready to party. At the reception she was so much fun and got everyone up and dancing! She even sang a song at our request for our wedding and everyone keeps talking. About it! Her voice is unreal! I even had a dress mishap where my dress zipper broke and she sewed me into my dress in the bathroom!! She is just truly amazing and if you’re thinking about hiring her, run don’t walk! Thank you Tara for being a huge part in making our wedding the best day of our lives!

Best DJ ever!

From our initial meeting, planning sessions and finalization of details - TFE delivers!! My husband and I were expecting your usual DJ services, however Tara is a true entertainer - from her fantastic vocals, to hyping up our guests - our wedding would not have been as great if we hired a different company! Trust me on that!

Tara is amazing

Tara was the best! We initially booked our wedding with her in 2020 and she made scheduling around the pandemic so easy, we were so grateful to her for that. She got to know us really well beforehand, and used that to talk about our relationship in really fun, sweet ways. She played a great mix of songs important to us specifically and general wedding classics, and she teased out our not-so-concrete taste in music to influence our playlist. Her energy and killer playlist had our friends and family (who aren’t known for dancing) on the dance floor all night! Plus she sings, and her voice is seriously amazing. She also helped coordinate little moments throughout the night, like making sure our officiant (a friend who had never done that before) felt comfortable right before the ceremony. Tara’s a great DJ, great singer, great host, and great person. Seriously we cannot recommend her enough.

Best DJ ever

Tara was sooo much fun to work with. If good DJ is a must, people remember if they had fun at a wedding. We first spoke to Tara over zoom and instantly knew that she was the right person. We had a ton of fun getting to know her and our wedding was a complete success thanks to her. We have people asking us if she was an old family friend because of how much she knew about us as a couple.
She sings as well as DJs so she surprised us by singing us a song. She also has a large list of songs that you can choose from if you want to plan a head for her to sing

Great experience!

The best!!

Tara did our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music! She does an amazing job getting to know you and your spouse to be. She spent so much time with us in person going over everything and her online planning tool is fantastic. She made our day so personal and special. Definitely pick some songs for her to sing also! Amazing night thanks to tfe!

From the second Paul and I met Tara we loved her energy. If was not hard to pic her as our DJ as we both agreed immediately that it should be TFE! Tara went above and beyond to help us make every detail of our wedding perfect. From hour long phone calls of chit chatting and helping me with advise on different things to spending 5 hours at our house with us going over every single detail. She took the time to get to know us and make this personal. We were not just wedding 7/18/21, we were Paul and Christy and she did everything to make our day perfect! After the wedding numerous people came up to us and said how amazing as was. Oh and the best yet.... she has the most amazing voice and sang to us as we danced. Everyone was blown away. Meet with her she is amazing you will fall in love instantly. We could not have done this without her!!!

Thaner/Sloan Wedding

Tara was recommended to my wife Jen and I through a friend of ours and let me tell you she did not disappoint. We used her as our officiant and she knocked that out of the park as well. Everyone we talked to raved about how much fun they had and a lot of that was attributed to Tara. She knew what to play at the right time and it seemed like the party never ended, the dance floor was rocking all night. If you’re reading this, look no further. You’d be doing yourself a disservice going with someone else. 10/10 would recommend Tara all day, everyday!

We had a blast!

TFE took full responsibilty of everything I needed to make the day run smoothly. One person stepped up and did the work of three people at a moments notice so I didn't have to get involved and could focus on the one person I was about to marry. TFE brought decades of experience to ensure me that no details were overlooked. TFE mentioned many things I never would've thought of while planning this wedding. I am now happily married and know that I got off to a good start. Thank you TFE!!!

Great experience

Tara did an incredible job. She kept in contact with us through the whole shut down and we discussed changes and options frequently. She agreed to also be our officiant after the fact and did a great job. She even sung some of the songs we chose for the ceremony we planned pre-Covid. She was fun and friendly and really spelled out the whole process for us. I would recommend Tara to anyone!

Perfect for my wedding!

She is so great! She is hilarious, so comfortable with speaking and very knowledgeable and good at her trade! My husband and I weren't really into music, but she was still able to cater to us and made sure people were on the dance floor the entire time. Love her personality, her professionalism, and overall as a DJ exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of communication before the big day to make sure it went exactly as we wanted and she gave us plenty of advice for the parts we weren't sure about.
Plus she sang during our wedding, and people didn't even realize she was she was THAT GOOD.

We love Tara

Tara has an amazing personality and is exactly why we had no doubt going with her as our DJ/MC. She is bubbly and sweet and always getting you excited and ready for the big day. We booked a year in advance and she kept in touch steadily throughout. The website she has makes it easy to add songs. For the in person meeting, she was extremely flexible and met with us on her day off for two hours to nail down details we never would have thought of. One of our big requests was for Tara to run a game during the reception and she added little twists to it to get people hyped and volunteers on the floor - very creative. We also got our photo booth through her and the quality was fantastic. High res photos that we have soft and hard copies of. Highly recommend working with Tara!

An amazing, personal, and memorable experience!

I don't think I can really express in words how thankful I am that we found Tara Feeley. Tara was recommended to us by a few other vendors while we were at a tasting with our caterer a few months after we got engaged. We reached out to Tara via email and quickly received a response that was full of enthusiasm and excitement. We were really able to read her personality and were excited to set up a time to meet with her. Upon meeting for the 1st time, we were hooked. We really connected with Tara and knew based on the questions that she was asking us that her goal was to make our event a personal one. It wasn't going to be about throwing songs together on a playlist. It was going to be about creating a memorable experience based on us and we loved that!
The entire planning process up until our wedding was seamless. Tara does a fantastic job of following up and keeping you on task. We literally didn't need to think about anything regarding the music/entertainment because it was already being thought of for us (with periodic check-in emails) which took a lot of stress off of our shoulders. The online planner was great! We were able to highlight our Love/Likes/Don't Play Ever lists which were discussed at our Creative Planning Session that Tara set up about a month prior to our wedding, which was probably our favorite part of the planning process. We talked about logistics, song choices, and the overall itinerary of our big day, but we also were able to come up with some really fun and unique ideas to incorporate to really put our stamp on it. Walking out of that meeting, we were definitely relieved of any small concerns that we may have had (which were basically none) because we knew that we were in good hands. As expected, our wedding day ended up being absolutely perfect! Our ceremony was was flawless - music was just right, audio/volume was just right. Our reception was amazing! Tara is really excellent at reading the crowd - knowing when to throw on a banger to get people on the dance floor, when to slow it down to engage the couples, and just keeping a consistent pace to keep the atmosphere enjoyable for the guests. We were happy to hear songs from our lists incorporated with ad hoc songs that fit in perfectly with the vibe. Tara incorporated her singing during our reception and we were so incredibly impressed with her talent. When she sings, there is so much emotion behind it and you could feel it throughout the room. Our guest had nothing but wonderful compliments about her. Overall, our wedding was perfect and we attribute so much of that to our experience with Tara. She genuinely cares about her clients and makes the experience about you. We never felt like we were just a person writing a check. It was always about what we wanted and how she could help to make us have the best day possible. We are so happy that we chose her and even more thankful that we gained a friend out of it.

Tara is the very best!

Tara is the best DJ ever! She provides a fantastic experience that all of my guests loved, including live singing with her amazing voice. On top of DJ service, she really helps plan the entire day and puts you so at ease as you are planning your event. I would recommend Tara to anyone.

Fantastic!

Tara is absolutely fantastic, she is honestly one of the best entertainers I have ever met! This was our 3rd event with Tara, and there is no one else I would chose. Over a span of almost 10 years she has become part of our family. She was at our wedding, my daughters first birthday and now my sons communion. People are always blown away by her. She is as real as they get, and it shows in how she interacts with the crowd. I cant wait to book our next event!

We adore her!

Tara and her associates gave us the BEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES. She handled every bit of the ceremony, coordinated perfectly with the venue and caterinf company, and focused on everything we wanted to get out of our wedding experience! She was our officiant, our DJ, and essentially our planner. And she had everyone pumped up akd fully energized all night. Thank you, Tara!!!

Wonderful Professional that put our minds at ease!

We couldn't be happier with our wedding and the wonderful time people keep telling us they had! They were dancing all day and they loved the music selections Tara wove throughout the day. Tara was sensitive and willing to incorporate our selections into selections she knows would keep the party humming. She is a consummate professional who knows how to support her clients. Tara was able to calm us down and helped plan out the different segments of our day for us. Wonderful Wedding

Tara made our wedding spectacular! She really took the time to get to know us and incorporated all of those tidbits into our reception from giving context to our first dance to getting people who usually wouldn't be caught dead on the dance floor up and dancing and involved! She was incredibly responsive even to last minute questions and her knowledge and experience was super helpful in planning schedules and offering suggestions.

We had so many compliments from the guests too about how great she was with the energy and getting a good mix of songs. Tyler Grant and I highly recommend for her for all your DJ needs!

Tara was the best DJ for our wedding on Long Beach Island! From day 1 she was super responsive and organized and we could not have been happier with everything that she did for us. We live in Boston and Tara was so flexible in meeting with us the month before the wedding. On the day of, we were both so impressed that Tara remembered the smallest details from the conversations we'd had and made it feel so personal. Tara was extremely helpful with selecting the music for our venue. She played every song we requested and was the perfect emcee! She didn’t miss anything. If you want your wedding to be treated like the most important day of your life and you want to make sure you have top notch entertainment with a little extra, I cannot recommend Tara enough. We didn't want the same old wedding DJ with the over the top in your face personality. Tara was exactly what we were looking for. We booked her right after she spent about an hour on the phone with us to discuss what we were looking for in terms of entertainment and our tastes. She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and make your wedding authentic and real to who you are as a couple. We had a creative planning session with Tara that lasted about 3 hours and she went through every detail of our wedding and made sure that we were making the wedding that we wanted to have and would remember forever. We used her services for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Our guests were raving about the music selection throughout the day. Music will make people remember your special day and we sure remember ours and so do our friends and family. Tara was in constant contact and coordination with our photographers and the venue that we did not have to worry about a thing on wedding day. We had an amazing day and we are so glad we put out trust in Tara to make it perfect.

We had previously been at a wedding that Tara had been the dj and we knew we wanted her for the entertainment for our wedding. TAra is GREAT! SHe is right on top.of everything! Notified in advance of anything we needed to do. VEry helpful with picking the songs and very much personAlizes each wedding!!!!!!! The energy Tara has and brings to the reception is amazing! SHe definitely knows her business! All our guests had a great time and were SOOOO happy with the music! Tara had helped us pick our intro music that absolutely wowed and amused everyone!!! Tara is a wonderful person! Our first meeting her, from start to finish, was like hanging out with an old friend. Tara was the most amazing DJ we could have ever asked for or dreamed of. She cares about every single little detail because she knows how much it matters. Tara gets to know you personally so she can make your day as perfect as possible - a touch that I really don't think you'd get anywhere else - she got to know us so well that she played my favorite song without even knowing it was my favorite song! She is kind, patient, and incredibly fun and she knows how to throw a good party. Our guests have been raving for 2 months about how our wedding was "the most fun wedding" - we really do have Tara to thank for that - the dance floor wasn't empty for a single second all night. I cannot recommend Tara enough - she really made our dreams come true and hiring her was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you, Tara, for being so wonderful and making our day amazing!

When it came to planning our wedding finding the perfect DJ was the only thing I was nervous about. All of my worries were quickly put at ease from the moment I talked to Tara. Music is such an important part of a celebration so you want to make sure you hire the right person…..Tara is your person! From our first meeting with Tara we knew we wanted to hire her to handle the music for our wedding. Tara has a great personality and we knew she’d do a great job. From go she was on top of every detail, gently reminding us of what and when things had to be done. She is very professional yet so friendly and helpful she puts you right at ease. In the final meeting to go over the timeline (and she will go above and beyond to stick to that timeline!) not only did she go over every detail and the timing, but she made wonderful suggestions and even offered to sing at the wedding. Tara has hosted family parties for us in NJ and most recently our wedding reception this time in NY. She did everything we asked for our casual reception, played all the songs we wanted (great job mixing too!) and surprised with us with some things that everyone enjoyed. I told her I wanted to dance for 4 hours, and that's exactly what I did. My wife too! (and everyone else!). Tara is such a good dj that there are hardly words to describe the Tara Feeley experience. You can't help but look back at your event and smile or laugh. While planning our wedding me and my husband both agreed that the 2 most important aspects of any wedding are music and food! If you are looking to have a great wedding choose TFE!!! Tara's energy is contagious and she had every single guest out on the dance floor!!! Our guests all left saying that is was the best wedding they have ever been to!!!! She has great attention to detail and adds such a nice, personal touch to a wedding - we had family approaching us throughout the night asking if she was an old friend of ours because she knew so much information about us!! Bottom line - you know you had a great DJ when your photographers and videographers stayed an extra hour (unpaid) just to hang out and dance and left saying they had never had so much fun at a wedding before!!! I just can't say enough good things about Tara Feeley Entertainment (TFE)! Tara came to my rescue after finding out I was scammed by another DJ for my daughter's wedding and she turned a nightmare into the most wonderful, fun and entertaining wedding reception I have ever attended. This was a unique blended-family wedding and Tara made sure all the guests, young as 5 years old to 75 years old, had a great time and enjoyed every minute. She was personable, attentive to our needs, and played for four hours non-stop to keep the 15 children guests entertained and happy. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing Tara and TFE for our entertainment. From the initial phone call, I knew right away that Tara was our gal. When we met with her, 2 hours passed during our creative planning session as if we were just chatting with an old friend. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple more than any other vendor we worked with and it truly showed at our reception when she included the story of how we met. It was such an awesome touch! She sang during the ceremony and at the reception and it was breath taking. Tara Feeley and her assistant Chris made my son's Communion party fabulous...the energy and the interaction with the kids, as well as the adults, was beyond what was expected. There's a reason I hired her in 2006 for my wedding and contacted her again for my son's Communion...she's is just one heck of a DJ/entertainer...she really loves what she does and it shows! The Women's Council of Realtors Monmouth County Chapter has had Tara EMCEE & DJ their annual fundraiser Bra's for a Cause, for the past 4 years, and she just steps it up every year!! Tara was extremely responsive when contacted. Her professionalism followed through to the event (50th surprise party). All the guest including the guest of honor were please with her performance.

We are so glad we chose Tara for our company holiday party this year. Everyone came to me Monday after the party to say how good the DJ was. Her selections for the music kept the dance floor busy all night and you could tell she was enjoying herself also! A definite for next year.

Tara Feeley is the best DJ on the planet. Hands down, you WANT to hire her for your event! She has been our DJ for two of the most important moments in life: our wedding and our daughter's Sweet 16. There is no one else that could have done the job right. (We would have changed the date of the party if we had to, just to have Tara!) From start to finish, Tara makes sure the evening is perfect. Tara is fantastic! Her consultations really help you narrow down what you want your reception to be and does an incredible job of making it a reality. She also takes amazing notes during your consultation-she relayed a story I told about when I knew I'd marry my wife. I briefly mentioned this story in passing and her inclusion of this story in our celebration made the night even more special.

Tara can sing! If you have any hesitation about having her sing during your event, I can tell you that you will be beyond pleased. A few of our guests approached me and remarked that they were blown away by her voice.

What else can I say? If you have the opportunity to book Tara for your wedding or any other event that requires a DJ, she should be your first and only choice!

Tara was amazing. We had a wonderful consultation with her that really helped her figure us out as a couple. We had some strong opinions about what music we did not want played and she took thst to heart. She also had wonderful ideas for music placements we didn't even realized we would need like cake cutting. Since my wedding, I have been to 5 other weddings. None of the other D.J.'s even came close to keeping the dance floor full or were as good at reading the crowd as Tara was. The music really made the reception stand out in so many ways. TFE has provided the entertainment for the Mike Murray Sr. Memorial Fund's Annual Golf Outing at Galloping Hill in Kenilworth for the past two years. None of the board members had any experience in running a golf outing with a luncheon and auctions. Thank God Tara took control and ran both auctions perfectly! The music was excellent, her voice is absolutely beautiful and her personality lights up a room. I would recommend Tara a million times over for any type of celebration. She is amazing!

This was the second time we used Tara and I must say once again she didn't disappoint. This was for our son's first birthday party. She arrived with plenty of time to set up and have the music going while guest arrived. She got the crowd going and even had the adults pumped up with the games. She was also very professional in taking care of all details as in announcements during the party and guest song requests. Everyone had such a great time. The Creative Planning Session we had with Tara was amazing. We had A LOT of decisions about songs that were NOT made before our Creative Planning Session and Tara had her computer with endless music and a speaker so she could suggest songs and play them for us. Our meeting ended up being quite long, but it was amazing to have so much professional help with our music selections, right down to the music we walked down the aisle to!!

I have gotten so many compliments about Tara and how much my guests loved her. Many didn't even realize she was singing a few times because she's so amazing. One of the things that drew me to Tara when we first met was that she sings (I'm a sucker for a good singer) and I couldn't be happier with the songs she sang. My only request was "At Last" which Tara sang so so beautifully, and I asked her to sing a few more of her choice that she thought would fit in with the night. They were all beautiful! I spent half the time she was singing running around making sure my guests knew it was her because I was so impressed!!!

There were so many moments throughout the night that stood out to us but one that stands out the most is when Tara introduced me and my husband and told our story of how we met and our first few weeks together. She learned all of this during our Creative Planning Session and she didn't say she was going to tell the story but she asked for so many details that I knew she was going to mention it in some way. She only spoke for a minute or two but she was so funny about it and had the crowd laughing and us smiling and laughing too. It was a great moment, one that a lot of our guests did not know all the details of, but one that I was happy to have them hear when Tara told the story!

I could go on and on. I am so so happy we booked Tara Feeley as our DJ!!

I immediately was drawn to Tara at my friend's wedding back in August. She just seemed so genuine, and honest. I took her card, and booked her soon after for my May wedding. I wasn't too picky about the music selection, I just gave her a list of the types of people that would be there, and she was able to accommodate everybody. We had so many people of all generations out on the dance floor. I've been to other weddings that made me feel like I was at D'Jais in Belmar, and I knew I didn't want that vibe. She was able to keep it classy. If you're looking for talented, tasteful entertainment, you will not be disappointed with Tara.

Tara was truly the best DJ we could have ever asked for. Every time we met with her, she was fun and upbeat and listened to us. She knew exactly what we wanted. She played all the songs we asked her for plus put in lots of her own because she got to know us so well. She sang a few songs during dinner and people couldn't believe how great she was. The guests literally stopped eating and turned around to watch her. She got everyone's attention. People are still telling me how wonderful she was. I highly recommend Tara Feeley Entertainment. Tara provided entertainment, music and hosting for our family reunion which also included a couple birthdays as well as a milestone 85th birthday for our dad. She of course had everyone dancing and having fun, but you could see the difference in her pre-planning. She had all kinds of trivia and fun facts regarding dads birthday and really themed the music to the occasion. She provided some party favors and even sang two songs. With many of my cousins being from NJ (I am from upstate NY) they all said she was the best entertainer they had seen in years. Even the club manager said she was the best in a long time she had worked with. We couldn't of asked for a better time celebrating and sharing with Tara and all our family members. Great choice and so much more than just a DJ. Highly recommend Tara Feeley, she never stopped moving the entire time!

Beyond Amazing!
