Delicious!!!

Texas Star Bakery's cakes are so delicious! They were easy to work with, delivered on time, and made a beautiful cake. I changed my cake design last minute and they were very accommodating and sweet throughout the whole process!

Cake was beautiful and tasted amazing!! Got the white wedding cake with the raspberry filling-did a semi naked cake and had our florist add flowers! Was perfect! Alex was great too:)

We had a winter wedding so we had a traditional wedding cake as well as a "pie bar" instead of a grooms cake. The pie bar was a total hit!!!! We were so appreciative of Texas Star for making all the pies and my wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious! All of our friends and family kept commenting how tasty everything was. I grew up on Texas Star Bakery for my birthday cakes so it was amazing to also be able to have them do my wedding cake!

We had Texas Star Bakery bake our wedding cakes. I wanted a Doctor Who themed cake, and they were able to make the cake exactly what I was wanting. Both the wedding cake and the groom's cake were perfect. They were delicious and exactly what we imagined. Our guests commented on how delicious the cakes were. This is the place to go for the perfect wedding cakes!

Texas Star did our wedding and groom cake. I had gone in with some ideas and decorations for the wedding cake and they sketched it out and made some suggestions. We also picked a groom's cake which was actually a Texas Rangers cake they show on their website. I provided the cake topper, ribbon and flower decoration for the wedding cake and they did a great job in tying it all together. On the day of the reception, they delivered and set up at the venue (in Fort Worth) right on time. The cakes were a big hit and looked amazing! Both cakes were very moist and flavorful - we had double chocolate for the wedding cake and red velvet for the groom's cake. We have used them before for graduation parties and had specialty cakes made and once again Texas Star delivered. Highly recommend!

Flexible! Offered great advice & truly wanted to make our cakes exactly how we wanted! We actually trusted them enough to say "do whatever you think looks best" and our cake really turned out wonderful. Delivered and set up our cake & toppers for us.

I grew up near Texas Star Bakery, my sister used them for her wedding and we chose to use them for mine as well. Their cake is SO good. We chose amaretto for the wedding cake and double chocolate for the grooms cake. I would recommend having an idea of the style of cake you want (pinterest!) and going in with pictures as their books are outdated but don't let that turn you away. We didn't save our cake topper for one year anniversary but did have leftover cake that we saran wrapped and refrigerated. We had it 2 weeks after the wedding day and it was still delicious as the day of. Recommend going with only buttercream frosting. No one likes fondant!! Ha.

I got so many compliments on my cakes and the moistness and flavor of them. They made my design perfect and my grooms cake came out wonderful. I will use them again and always from now on for special occasions. They are a must to check out and the samples are wonderful... Thank you for making my day special and worry free.

We discovered Texas Star Bakery two weeks before our wedding when our original baker fell through. My fiance (now husband) was very specific about wanting an almond flavored wedding cake.

When we contacted them and forwarded a picture, they provided a timely estimate within 30 minutes. The estimate was quite affordable and they were able to schedule a tasting the very next day and offered two other samples for the cake tasting as well.

The staff was quite friendly. They brought out samples for my mother and I to try and left us alone to discuss each cake. While tasting the cakes, I noticed a consistent flow of customers coming in. Some were repeat customer or frequent customers based on the employees' greeting as the customers came through the door.

We found the cakes to be moist and flavorful. The samples were sizable enough to take a sample to my fiance (now husband). He thought it was perfect.

Wade was really helpful as he offered different pricing options for the flowers from the inexpensive to the expensive. They delivered the cake on time. It was beautiful. It was just as it was in the picture.

Our guests loved it. I received several phone calls after the wedding frome guests who complimented the flavor and the moistness of the cake.

We would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Not only would I recommend the almond cake, but the I would recommend the lemon bread as well....delicious.

Texas Star Bakery did a wonderful job on our wedding cake and grooms cake! They are very talented at what they do. The cake is always very moist and delicious and they have a great variety of flavors. I felt that their prices were very reasonable! The were very helpful with the planning process and were very flexible on any changes that needed to be made. They arrived to the venue on time and the cakes they delivered look beautiful! I will definitely use them myself for any other event that requires cakes in the future!

This bakery is amazing. Not only are they professional, but they have some of the best tasting cake. To top it all off, their prices are the most reasonable in DFW!

Originally my best friend was going to make my cake but after we had made the plan for the rehearsal dinner she wouldn't be able to attend if she made my cake so I started calling around literally 6 days before the wedding. I first called Texas Star because Ive used them before and their cakes are so good. When I first told Wade the date of my wedding he laughed and then said bring a picture in and he'll see if it can get done. Thank God it was! He also worked with us on the size of the cake for the price because cake was not originally in our budget. The cake came out amazing along with the grooms cake. Wade did such a great job making the cake look exactly like the photo I senr him.

We made an appointment to sample cakes and there were hundreds of photos of cakes to select from. Texas Star made this process very easy. The cake was delivered as planned and was exactly what was ordered. Everyone really enjoyed the taste of the cake. I would highly recommend Texas Star Bakery for your next event.

Chuck and his staff at Texas Star Bakery are the best. Both the bride and groom cakes were delicious. They are affordable and were a joy to work with. I get all of our desserts from Texas Star Bakery so it wasn't a surprise to me how wonderful the cakes were. My guest loved both the bride and groom cakes. If you are looking for a bakery that makes delicious cakes and the price is right Texas Star Bakery is your place.

Nothing short of amazing. They were very professional and fun. We did pie rather than cake they made the perfect pies for us at a great price.

The wedding cake designer is extremely talented. My wedding cake and the groom's cake tasted delicious and they looked gorgeous! I couldn't have been happier when we walked into the reception and I saw our cakes displayed. I would HIGHLY recommend them to any bride!

One of our friends used TX Star for her wedding last year and I knew I had to use them also! The cake was wonderful! We got to take home nice size samples to share with the family while making the flavor decision. This made the cake tasting a lot of fun! We went with the Almond and Strawberry for the bride's cake and it was great! The cake was so fresh, and it looked EXACTLY like the picture I had given them. They were on time to the venue and everyone said the cake was great! I could not have asked for a better cake (looks or taste) it was perfect!

I went into Texas star only a month out from my wedding. I was feeling stressed and they assured me that everything will come out beautiful and IT DID! the cakes were gorgeous and they were soooo YUMMY! they have fantastic service and best prices in town!

I LOVED our wedding cake from Texas Star Bakery and the value was amazing. It was half the cost of other cakes I've had, and still was beautiful and tasted great! Delivery was no problem!

After a frustrating search for delicious cake and affordable simplicity, I attended a friend's wedding where I tasted a cupcake that *seriously* changed my life. Once I found out which bakery she used, I tested several other cupcakes from their cases before booking a consultation. The staff was friendly every time I visited and were able to create exactly what my now-husband & I were looking for. We were given 3 delicious samples for our free tasting (which we were allowed to bring home & conduct at our leisure) and got hooked on a flavor that surprised us both - white chocolate chip. On our wedding day, the cake arrived and was beautiful. It was exactly what we needed at a fabulous price and it tasted just as delicious as it did during our tasting. I will DEFINITELY give Texas Star my business anytime I need cakes & more!!

When you think weddings the cake plays a BIG part. Texas Star was AMAZING!! They listened to our ideas and made the cake exactly as we wished. They were spot on with our vision! The cake it self is simply fantastic. Icing isn't too sweet, and the cake is moist and melts in your mouth! We had very little of a 4 tear cake left over! The price couldn't be beat! This bakery is a true diamond in the rough! We will def be using them again! A must try!

Let me start by saying that my husband and I were not going to have cake at our wedding because neither of us like cake and we couldn't stomach the price tag for something that we weren't going to enjoy ourselves. But with much persuasion from mothers and grandmothers (one of which refused to attend without the promise of cake) we decided to begin the hunt for something affordable.

Texas Star Bakery was absolutely perfect! They were, first and foremost, beyond affordable. When I went to the tasting, the staff was so kind and quick and they provided me with huge samples (seriously cupcake sized!). I booked them immediately, and went with three of their most popular flavors: almond, double chocolate and carrot cake. Everyone at the wedding said it was some of the best wedding cake they ever had (the carrot cake especially) and the almond made his grandmother cry. And best of all, both cakes look exactly as we asked: the grooms cake was the Texas A&M Aggie Seal which is a true work of art!

I got my bride's cake from Texas Star. They were very flexible on when I could come in for a tasting. I booked them right then, and the price was great compared to other places I priced. The cake turned out exactly how I wanted and tasted awesome (I had the almond flavor-yum!). I had tons of compliments!

We used Texas Star Bakery for my bridal shower cake. My mom and I walked in on a Saturday without an appoitment not knowing what to expect. My mom had our cake taken care of quickly, and the staff were very nice. The price was great, too! We had been to a couple grocery stores looking for a simple cake and they were expensive. We tried Texas Star Bakery and were shocked that it would cost less! The cake was so fresh and beautiful, my shower guests loved it. We ordered a bigger cake than what we needed to have extra, but my guests liked it so much everyone went back for seconds and we hardly had any left! I reccomend the red velvet it was amazing.

Our wedding and groom cake were YUMMY!! Cake was very moist and they designed it exactly like we wanted. Very satisified and will use them in the future! Good value for the money as well!

The cake was absolutely gorgeously decorated. The taste of the cake was amazing. Everyone that was in attendance went on and on about how good the cake was.

This bakery is very economical and professional I would recommend this bakery to everyone.

Michelle was great, I gave her an idea for the groom's cake (batman) and she understood what I wanted! I didn't do a tasting before the wedding because I'm out of town so I based my opinion solely on the internet! The cakes were so beautiful and very delicious. Also, I didn't rent a cake stand and was pleasantly surprised that the cakes were on a satin covered plate. So if you don't care to rent a cake stand, don't worry! It still looked beautiful.

The cakes (bride and groom) were absolutley beautiful and they tasted wonderful. So moist and just great! We did not have much cake left and what was left everyone came over to my mom's the next and got it all. The price was unbeatable...I have been using them for everything now..Birthdays and office parties

Texas Star was one of the only bakeries that had my favorite kind of cake: orange. They did a fantastic job on our cake (we wanted a cupcake tower.) Everything looked super cute and tasted delicious. We got lots of compliments on both the look and taste. The cake and everything else also arrived on time. Texas Star was fabulous - and I would highly recommend.

Texas Star Bakery really delivers amazing cakes for a great price. Our cakes were very unique creations that we left in the hands of the bakery and they did an amazing job. We even changed the bride's cake just a month or so before the wedding and they were completely flexible and accommodating.

I had a late request for a cake topper for the groom's cake. They were able to make it for me. It was a Rolex watch in the box - and it looked GREAT! I was so pleased and so was my groom! They do great cake/cake topper work! Highly recommend!

Texas star made the most exquisite wedding cake for me. I just took a couple pictures of ideas I liked, and they made my wedding cake the most beautiful, intricately detailed cake ever. It was better than I had hoped for!

We loved the cake, but the flavor was not quite right. We had asked for one layer to be a different flavor; however, all layers were the same. Very delicious, though!!

Texas Star Bakery is a very talented and customer-friendly bakery. My wedding cake turned out exactly how I pictured it!! Their custom-made cakes and cup cakes are always delicious :) I have been back several times since my wedding for cupcakes and cookies. They are always respectful and a joy to work with. Even the tasting makes you feel like they just want to help make your day special. I would recommend Texas Star Bakery to anyone who has a need for a creative, tasty cake :)

I was very pleased with the fact that the cake was at least $100 cheaper that any other shop and more delicious! Michelle was very easy to work with and was able to recreate my idea well. They delivered the bride and grooms cakes on time to the boat on the lake just prior to the ceremony. The only thing I would have liked more is a color a little less green and more blue which I had requested before. Nevertheless, it was beautiful and very tasty!

My cakes were sooo FABULOUS and tasted phenomenal! Mine was exactly how I envisioned it without even giving them a picture to work with and my husbands had his college alma mater on the front! I gave a half a point off bc they were half an hour late on delivery, but we had funny weather that day so I was good with it! Thanks a bunch!

Texas Star Bakery made both a bridal cake and groom's cake for our wedding in Fort Worth. The cakes were beautiful and exactly as we wanted. The bridal cake was very similar to one of the cakes in their book but with changes in icing color and ribbon. The cake turned out exactly as I described I wanted it to be when I met with the baker. We chose to have three flavors of cake and all 3 were delicious! We had lots of comments from guests on how great the cake tasted.

So delicious!!! We ate the rest of our cake after getting back from the honeymoon (a week after the wedding) and it was still amazingly good! We recommend the red velvet!!!

Texas Star Bakery has the best chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting! Wish we had ordered our cake from there as well, but we'd already paid a deposit somewhere else before we tried their cupcakes. The cupcakes were great! My only wish would have been for them to call the day before to confirm the order and pick up time, so I wouldn't worry or stress about whether or not they would be ready the day of the wedding since I'd ordered several weeks earlier. I called to confirm the morning of, and they were ready, but that tinge of worry about them forgetting wouldn't have been there if I'd just received a confirmation call. Just a suggestion that might put other Mothers of the Bride at ease in the future! :o)

Texas Star Bakery did a wonderful job on our wedding and groom's cake. The cakes looked and tasted great! They had the best prices in town. They were very flexible with making any changes to the cake design or cake flavors. Both cakes were delivered on time, and their was no need for me to rent a cake stand since they bring the cakes on pretty satin covered stands.

Texas star bakery did such an awesome job on our grooms cake! My husband wanted a turntable cake, and it looked great! It tasted sooo good too! We will continue to use them for birthday cakes and other special occassions!

We had a delicious, fabulous looking cake, according to what i wanted, it looked amazing, and was delivered on time prior to event start time. Staff at the shop was polite, we went in for a tasting and tried 3 different flavors, finally agreed on the white chocolate cake. I had alot left over

Texas Star was wonderful! Our cake was exactly as we imagined and we couldn't wait a whole year to eat the top layer! We plan to have TX Star make us a duplicate on our anniversary! Love this bakery!

The cakes looked and tasted fabulous! I did feel like we bought a little too much, but I believe that is pretty normal for cakes.

They did have a problem with a design on the groom's cake the morning of the wedding. That wasn't a call I was happy to take, but they got it fixed by the time of the wedding.

We ordered cupcakes and a small cake for our wedding. They delivered on time, but a dozen of our cupcakes were missing. My mother called them and they did offer a refund for the cupcakes that were missing. Some of the cupcakes fell over in delivery and the icing was messed up. The guests loved the cupcakes and we loved our cake. The few guests that tried our cake loved it as well. As far as quality goes, Texas Star makes great cupcakes. I was disappointed that they forgot a dozen, but we ended up not needing the dozen in the end and will be reimbursed for it. We did order cupcakes in 2 colors and 2 flavors so I figured they would do one color in one flavor and the other color the other flavor, but they did call the night before to ask us how many we wanted of each color. Seemed slightly unprofessional and not much like a question to ask the day before the wedding! Overall I did love the cupcakes and the service (minus the few hitches we had)

Texas Star Bakery made my bride and groom cake. I had several people tell me those were the best cakes they had eaten. The price was very affordable also.

Cakes were good. The only downside was that the flower color did not match very well. I gave the bakery a fabric sample of my wedding color but they did not match very well.

Great service for a great fee! My husband and I chose the almond buttercream, 4 tiered wedding cake and had our florist add flowers on each tier. The cake looked perfect, and tasted delicious! We had so many compliments on the cake, and we got a lot of bang for our buck!

The cake was fantastic. It was gorgeous. I would recommend this to anyone, although, when they came to deliver it, they were quite rude to the other vendors and my husband. Maybe it was a bad day. Other than that, the cake was soooo good!

Texas Star was to deliver my cake at 3:00 PM for my 7:30 wedding. It didn't arrive until 7:15 :o/ It looked pretty and tasted ok, but was missing the personalized ribbon we brought to them and asked to have put on and that was a little too close for comfort.

I have used this bakery for almost ten years, but based on this experience, will not return. We had a travel theme for our wedding and the cake was a vintage suitcase, with a hat box on top as a second layer. Initially we did not want to do a design like this because most bakeries will only do these designs using fondant, which both my husband I do not like. However, Texas Star showed us a photo of a suitcase cake they had done using butter cream instead of fondant. We loved it, and they assured us that they could fulfill our order with butter cream. We had two design meetings, the second of which was with the owner Jennifer. She sketched out the cake in detail, and we felt great. Unfortunately, our cake was not made to the agreed upon specifications – it was made with fondant (not butter cream as ordered) and the design elements were incomplete. They were closed the next day and we were leaving the country for two weeks for our honeymoon, so I sent them an email detailing the issues. When we returned two weeks later, they had not responded, so I called. I finally got to talk with Chuck, Jennifer’s husband. After several calls, he refused to offer anything except a $100 refund (that was only about a 20% refund on our total order). He never even acknowledged the fact that it was a HUGE mistake to use fondant instead of butter cream (my husband and I hate fondant so much we didn’t even eat any of our own wedding cake) or the fact that they left off a significant part of the the decoration. His response was “Well, I saw the cake and it was beautiful,” and “The bridesmaids and mother of the bride loved it.” He refused to acknowledge that they failed to fulfill our order correctly. Then, he proceeded to treat me as though I was trying to just get money back because I did not complain when they delivered the cake. Due to this, and the overall way we were treated, I cannot recommend them and will not be using them again.
