Very easy and fun to work with

Jamin' helped us put together a great list of songs and was very open to our input. Chris did a wonderful job DJing and being the MC at our wedding--kept it soft for the meal and hopping on the dance floor. Highly recommend them!

Great experience with Texas Professionals DJ!

Texas Professional DJ did an excellent job providing soundtracks for every stage of our wedding. It was easy to navigate through their website, with listing music preferences as well as song requests that we wanted at the wedding. Our assigned DJ did an excellent job working with and building on our music request list, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the wedding event and adding more soundtracks that were an absolute hit with guests during the reception. Our guests had a great time dancing the night away after the ceremony! They’re a great team of professionals, and we highly recommend Texas Professional DJ for your wedding!

TX DJ Pros are the best!!

My husband and I are very particular about our music and had a lot of "do not play" and "must play" on our lists and THEY DELIVERED! I could hear the cocktail hour music when we were in the bridal suite before we came down and it was perfect. They brought our vibe to life. They did such a great job, were super friendly and great to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Texas Pro took care of everything for us from mics, lights, and music, and also making sure the evening flowed properly. Extremely professional and highly recommend. There were zero issues with mics or sound. The profesisonal lighting made the dance floor that much more fun too!

Jamin with Texas Pro DJ... the best!!!

Jamin with Texas Pro DJ is the best!! We had a string quartet (Terra Vista Strings) for our ceremony + cocktail hour, and then New Orleans style jazz (Boss Street Brass Band through Moontower Entertainment) for the dinner hour, and then Texas Pro DJ for dancing and MC!! I was such a fan of all our music choices and would recommend all these vendors to anyone!! The Jazz got everyone's spirits up and lively and then Jamin just brought the house down as our DJ! He got everyone on the floor and really kept the energy up. Not to mention he was SUCH a pleasure to work with along the way!! Truly so nice and accommodating. If you're wanted a fun/energetic (and not cringey :) ) DJ.. the Jamin is the man!! Thank you so much for making our reception an absolute blast!

Oh, and he got all the lighting for our reception.. 10/10!

Kept us all on the dance floor

We chose Texas Pro DJ for our wedding at Canyonwood Ridge on a recommendation from our planner, Amanda Hepner, and we're SO GLAD WE DID. Miles was responsive and super easy to work with in the planning process, and Andrew kept everyone on the dance floor on the day. I didn't have a clear vision of our reception music, so really left that to Andrew and he seriously delivered. We had such a fantastic experience with Texas Pro, cannot recommend them more highly.

DJ JAMIN IS AMAZING! We had no concern when it came to the party!

The one thing we were most excited about for our wedding was the DJ. When we first met DJ Jamin, we immediately knew he was the man who was going to make our Latin & Trini party come true. He was good vibes at first meet, while working with him, and during our wedding. The dance floor was never empty! Even though Covid pandemic limited family and friends from coming to the wedding, everyone had a blast and we would LOVE to have him for a future family event once everyone can come together again. Jamin is amazing at what he does, he is so skilled and created such a FUN and smooth wedding day.

Hands down the best decision ever!

I booked Texas Pro DJ even before I had a date set or venue picked out! From the beginning Jamin and his team were so much fun to work with. They made the process of planning out and music super easy. Anthony was our day of DJ and he was awesome! He kept all our guests on the dance floor and had amazing transitions into the different style of music. Its hard to go from country to spanish music but Anthony rocked it! The Best DJ We Could Have Asked For

Texas Pro DJ was amazing! From our first meeting through our wedding day working with their team was phenomenal! The whole team was really responsive and they did so much more than just play our music. Their team helped us come up with our day of timeline (which was SUPER helpful) and were great at recommending music that would be appropriate for all of our events from when guests were arriving to dinner and dancing. Andrew was our DJ and he did a superb job of making sure that our guests knew when all of the big things were happening and he played a wide variety of music to make sure that there were always people on the dance floor

Best Wedding DJs in Texas!

Jamin was our DJ for our wedding at Laguna Gloria and he was AWESOME! From the first day we reached out to TX Pro DJs through our wedding day, the entire process was easy, and we got exactly what we wanted on our big day.

TXPDJ makes it very easy to start the process of choosing the right DJ. We reached out via their website and within a few weeks we visited their offices to take through our wedding day and the type of music we had expected. They use a software program that allows you to plan your day down to the minute, which gave us a lot of confidence that everything would go as planned.

After we planned out our day and discussed our needs, we were immediately drawn to Jamin. He had DJ’ed a few parties we had been to and he always had everyone dancing. He has so much energy and passion for what he does and he made us feel like our wedding was the most important wedding he had ever played.

On our wedding day, we knew exactly what to expect and had the timing (and accompanying music) all planned out. Jamin setup in various places around the venue and was well prepared throughout the day/night. We had an extensive “Do not play” list as well as a list of “must play”. Jamin was great at reading the dance floor and playing what he knew the crowd would enjoy. We were able to hear a ton of songs we wanted with a mix of his own personal style, which made the night perfect! We had so many people come up to us after telling us how awesome Jamin was and we cannot recommend him enough.

Jamin, the man!

My husband is British and I'm Haitian. Jamin is British and Jamaican; who else but him would know to keep my international wedding going lol. Haitians, Brits, Porto Ricans, African Americans, Australians.. Everyone found a little bit of themselves through this party. It was truly a night to remember and we are sooooo glad to have found Jamin! We truly made our day!

Miles did a great job of reading the crowd and there were so many people on the dance floor we had to move tables to make more room. So much that I could say about the Texas Pro DJ crew. From time of booking, to day of the wedding, the entire team was so pleasant to work with. The music for the wedding was perfect. We hired Jamin at Texas Pro DJ and were blown away. He really took the time to listen to what we wanted as far as song selections, made suggestions and provided a timeline. DJ Britton is your guy!

Our wedding DJ, Britton was flat out A M A Z I N G hands down! Not only did he play THE BEST playlists of all time, but he set the vibe. Our entire wedding guest (140 people) were up jiving, cha- cha sliding, jump, and good ol dancing. When I say there was not one person sitting down I mean it. Britton not only made my inner Beyoncé shin but was the perfect hype man for my groom. We had a great time! By far one of the best nights not only because it was our wedding but to see our families get up and groove.

Looking back on our wedding I can honestly say that having an amazing DJ is one of, if not THE most important thing to ensure an unforgettable night for you and your guests! A Must Have Vendor for your Wedding!

Texas Pro DJ is amazing! Working with Jamin Walters was one of the most fun parts of planning our wedding. We met with him a year out and he made us SO excited for the big day and did a great job building a timeline for us so we had an idea far in advance how our reception would go. The company has an online client portal that is super user-friendly and helps you select songs that you want for your reception. There is a even a "Do Not Play" list that you can plug songs into and they will not play those. We opted for no Cha Cha Slide or Cupid Shuffle :) Not only was Jamin an excellent DJ, but his MC skills are top notch! He kept the party going and made sure everyone was dancing! He was also super honest and helpful throughout the entire planning process and found ways to help us cut costs in some areas. We really appreciated that. So many of our guests asked for his business card at the end of the night so they could book him for their events. Overall, our wedding would not have been the same without him. I would recommend him to everyone! We love you, Jamin!

We could not be more happy with our entire experience with Texas Pro DJ. Noelle was always available and quick to respond to questions. Juan heard everything we said and DJ’ed the perfect day! They accommodated my request to keep a certain song secret from the groom. They made a last minute song request from my MOH for her speech happen as a complete surprise. And as we hoped we had a great party dancing the night away with every guest at our wedding. The DJ truly makes or breaks your wedding and we have been to weddings where the DJ killed the party. You will not have that problem with Texas Pro DJ.

Miles is AMAZING!!!! I am a wedding planner here in Austin and have worked with him countless times, so naturally when it came to my own wedding, I knew Miles was who I needed! I decided to have a destination wedding in Puerto Rico but Hurricane Maria had different plans! My wedding was cancelled 7 weeks before my big day and I freaked! I called Miles to let him know that we would likely need to post-pone but being the incredible person he is, talked me out of it. He gave me the courage to move forward with our original date and find a new location. We ended up getting married in West Palm Beach and it's all because of Miles. We made the best decision going with Texas Pro DJ for our wedding! After seeing (and dancing at) their booth at the Bridal Expo, I knew our reception had to have them.
My husband and I are huge music people, so choosing the right DJ was super important to us. Our first consult with Jamin hooked us. He explained how easy their online request and party organization system was. We could request any music we wanted, which made my XM-listening husband very happy. Planning our ceremony and reception music was stress free.
Jamin brought the party to our reception! He mixed our pre-set playlist, as well as many guest requests throughout the night. He kept our guests entertained and dancing all night! He even helped my Father bring his music-themed speech/toast to life.
Since our wedding, at least 5 guests have asked about booking our DJ for their upcoming events. Everyone was so impressed! You cannot go wrong with Texas Pro DJ!

Texas Pro DJ came highly recommended by our wedding venue. Being from out of state we just fully trusted their recommendation and booked them pretty quickly. From the first phone call to the day of the wedding, they were super easy to work with. We were never worried that they weren't going to do a great job. Luckily, we were right. The music was exactly what we had in mind. The dance floor was packed and everyone was able to let loose and really enjoy themselves. We added specific requests throughout the night and every request was met. We couldn't have envisioned a better DJ for us or a more fun night for us and our guests. Anthony was INCREDIBLE. Guests could not stop commenting about how on point the music was and how each song was better than the last. Loved the live mixing and Anthony kept the energy high and the dance floor full the entire night. We met with him once before the wedding to talk through the type of music we wanted and he knew instantly what vibe we were looking for. Their system for communicating “must play” songs and “do not play songs” was super easy to work with as well. Super thoughtful and professional – Anthony was SO much fun and made our wedding an epic dance party right to the very last song played for our sparkler exit. Could not recommend more highly!

My husband and I wanted our wedding guests to leave our wedding talking about how much fun they had. We wanted them to never leave the dancefloor. Miles did all that and more! Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had. We have gotten so many compliments!

Aside from all that, Texas Pro DJ is so easy to work with. From the first meeting to the day-of we never had any issues contacting them or getting questions answered. Miles even coordinated with Big Dog Pyro to set off a confetti cannon at the height of a song at the end of the night. Miles did an excellent job of shortening our special dance songs. You couldn’t even tell that they were edited! I highly recommend them for any event!

Anthony with Texas Pro DJ was the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. Weeks later, guests are still commenting about how great he was all night. The dance floor was completely packed the entire evening and he never let the party lag. Our day of coordinator also commented that he was super easy to work with and that he was easily one of the best DJs she had worked with in her 300+ weddings that she has coordinated. Texas Pro DJ did a great job at our wedding, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything went. We interacted a lot with Jamin during the planning phases, and Chris was our actual DJ. They were both great and really easy to talk to and work with. We were arranging everything from out of town, and they both went out of their way to help us make it all work, including setting up a meeting where we could talk to our DJ Chris beforehand, which really helped to make me feel reassured that everybody was on the same page before the actual wedding.

My husband and I are not anywhere near what you would call musically-savvy, and trying to cater to a crowd that was part musically-hip Austin folk and part older, conservative types made me panicky. Chris and Jamin listened to where I was coming from and helped strike just the right balance for our guests. During the wedding, Chris helped everything flow perfectly. All the important songs played right on cue, things stayed on schedule, and Chris read the crowd well and played the right things to keep people dancing and the vibe going in the right direction. Everything flowed so seamlessly that I was really unaware of it in the best way the whole time, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Before starting our wedding planning process, my husband and I made a list of things that were high priority for us. At the top of that list was having a good DJ who would contribute to the fun reception atmosphere we wanted to create.

I was on a mission to find the right DJ, and I must have spoken with every DJ company in Austin during my search. Miles was highly recommended to us by our photographer, and it wasn't hard to see why. From the moment we initially visited the office, all of the staff at Texas Pro DJ were professional and organized.

To make the planning process easier, we rented all sound equipment including what was needed for ceremony and reception through them. Miles and his assistant showed with plenty of time to setup and they were ready to go the day of the wedding.

An online login to an account with all details including timeline, requested songs, etc was available to us, and having such hands-on access really took all of the stress out of the process.

While we certainly could have gone with a different DJ for less, I would say that Miles' contribution was invaluable. We still get compliments on how great the music was and how much fun our reception was. If we ever need to hire another DJ, we would certainly pick Texas Pro DJ again!

Texas Pro DJ was absolutely AMAZING! They exceed our expectations! Jamin and Noelle were a joy to work with … they were very patient and walked us thru everything from timeline to suggestions on types of music. They were quick to respond and answered all of our questions. Their portal was so user friendly and it was a breeze to put our playlist together. They even included special music for us. Miles was our DJ and he was FABULOUS! He was on time, professional, full of energy and made our reception a blast. The transitioning from ceremony, to dinner music, to dance music was seamless … Miles played the perfect music at the perfect time. Our family and friends are still raving about it! Let me start by saying, the one thing we both knew we wanted from the start was an amazing DJ. We have been to plenty of wedding receptions that had decent music and we knew we wanted it to be off the hook! I had worked with Miles at previous jobs, so selecting Texas Pro DJ was never a question on our end. We were lucky enough to have Anthony as our DJ for the night and we couldn't be happier with the choice we made.

We challenged Anthony by putting together a large Do not Play list, and decided not to have a lot of traditional wedding moments (cake cutting, garter toss, etc.) but he kept the dance floor full all night. Finally, because of time, we had to scrap our first dance to keep on schedule, but Anthony in turn made it the last dance of the night which was perfect. Hands down, best decision ever to hire Texas Pro DJ.

Wow, terrific job!! I've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding as I did when Texas Pro DJ was leading the dance floor by playing all the best music! It really added to the fun atmosphere we wanted at our wedding!

Miles was the DJ for our wedding and he did a fantastic job. Music was extremely important to my husband and I so we splurged to get Miles who is the CEO of the company. Miles didn't complain at all about any of our nontraditional requests (no YMCA, Top 40, or songs that tell you how to dance like the Cupid Shuffle; we wanted alternative/pop punk music for the dinner; etc.), and he was so easy and fun to work with. Additionally, I am half Persian so we wanted half and half Persian and American music during the dancing. Miles did an amazing job switching between the two and he kept the dance floor going for two and a half hours on a 100 degree September day, making sure to get in as many of our requests as possible. Miles transitioned the songs seamlessly without the awkward pauses so many other DJs have, and he was a killer emcee. Miles even jumped in and started playing some music during the part of the ceremony where we were signing the marriage certificate when he realized it was taking longer than anticipated. He's a very intuitive DJ. The only flub was during our introduction at the reception when Miles almost forgot that I did not take my husband's name and was not going to be a "Mrs.", but it was a small error considering how fantastic everything else was.

Texas Pro DJ did the music at our wedding and we were so pleased with their work! Our DJ played the songs we wanted and had our guests dancing all night long! Our DJ was awesome! Highly recommend!!

KB was our DJ and he was phenomenal. We had a blast dancing and he did a fabulous job mixing all the songs. I never imagined dancing and having so much fun at my wedding. I found Texas Pro DJ at the Austin Wedding Extravaganza, and it was THE MOST FUN BOOTH. I knew if they could make me dance for the slow motion video mid afternoon, they'd be able to do wonders at a reception. I was terrified they'd be out of budget, but meeting with Nick let me know it would be worth every dollar.
During our initial meeting, Nick helped me create a minute-by-minute timeline of the ceremony and reception, incorporating my loose ideas with their collective knowledge of wedding flow/timing. It felt so comforting to work with people who knew what they were doing, and seeing the timeline on paper was the first moment of planning that made the wedding feel like a real event we would enjoy.
A week before the wedding, Shea helped me collaborate with DJ ANDREW to hold my hand through selecting the final list of ceremony and reception songs. Andrew made me feel incredibly confident that my special requests would be included, that he'd edit our first dance song to make it appropriately dancey, and that my indie dinner vision would become a reality.
He was completely right. It was awesome. He was so accommodating despite the torrential rain that relocated our cocktail hour, and his dinner vibes perfectly matched our vision. When the dance floor opened up, we no longer needed chairs in the reception hall. By the second song, someone started the train, and so many guests joined in that we formed a complete dancing circle around the entire reception hall. Guests who said they didn't dance proved themselves wrong, and Andrew read the crowd perfectly to make aunts, uncles, college friends, and coworkers all feel equal pride in tearing up the dance floor.
I can't say enough positive things about how much fun Andrew made our reception. Booking Texas Pro DJ is a great decision, and Andrew will seriously make your night if you can snag him.

DJ Nixx was awesome!! She read the crowd and played everything to keep our guests on the dance floor. We, alongside our best friends, our parents, grandparents and even the flower girl danced all night long! When our crowd didn't know how to "Wobble" she took to the dance floor and led us through it! Not only was dancing great, we even received compliments on the music during dinner, cocktail hour and as guests arrived. So happy with our decision to spend a little more than anticipated on our DJ, she was absolutely worth it!

DJ Miles was awesome!!!! I can't even begin to say enough on how great of a job he did. He really made our wedding so memorable, fun and action packed to the highest degree. I still smile anytime I think about how great of a time we had. Serving as our emcee, he was very smooth and effortless in his delivery and really helped to keep our sequence of events flowing from one thing to the next. He always kept our guests informed and no one was ever in the dark of what was going on. THEN came the actual dance and let me just say WOW! He really did keep the dance floor packed the ENTIRE night. This is something I read over and over again in his reviews and I can fully attest that this is 110% true. Even before the wedding, my other wedding vendors kept talking about how good DJ Miles was. He played music for everyone and really tapped into what we had asked for. When we met with him to review our musical selections before the wedding, he provided really helpful feedback to make sure that our party was organized as best as it could be and to make sure everything went off without a hitch. He really is an expert at what he does and my main recommendation is to put all of your trust in this man and let him "do his thing!" He will make sure that your party is everything you could ask for and more! One of the things I really liked about his style is that he does in fact mix live, meaning the transitions between songs are smooth and Never abrupt. He was mixing Pitbull with Salsa music and created really awesome and unique beats that you wouldn't get anywhere else. He dropped the bass where it needed to be dropped and played those slow songs and line dances in all the right places. I don't care what your musical style is, Just let Miles know and he will deliver a musical smorgasbord that you cannot get enough of. He even had our wait staff out on the dance floor at the end of the night, which is something I will never forget. In summary Miles is the best!

Miles and Anthony are the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!! Anthony was our wedding DJ and he ROCKED THE HOUSE!

We found this amazing crew at the Bridal Expo last year, and they have been nonstop fun ever since. Miles and Anthony are SO legit, and if you didn't know- Miles started the Dub Academy in town. If you are looking for a REAL DJ and not just a guy standing there with an iPod, you found the right people.

Miles and Anthony are fun, talented, professional, knowledgable, experienced and loving. They have a great portal to help you organize the music for your entire event, and they do a great job helping you iron out every detail before the big day. They made some great suggestions on music that we loved, and they had every song planned out to the minute. In addition to the music, Anthony was an amazing host. He made announcements and guided our guests throughout the entire evening. He can command a room with professionalism and warmth. My guests were in great hands that night.

The music for the dance segment was AWESOME. EVERYONE was dancing and the floor was filled all night long. Anthony can change the mood of the room in an instant and get everyone on their feet. He played all of our favorites and avoided the songs we hated. He was energetic and bubbly all evening, and it made us feel like he was a part of our family. WE LOVE THESE GUYS!! You'd be stupid to not hire them ;)

Hiring Miles from Texas Pro DJ was the best decision I made...apart from marrying the love of my life. He kept the party going all night with the perfect blend of music. He actually mixed and blended songs, you know like a real DJ does at the club. He was perfect, by the time you were two minutes into a great song he was already setting up the next hit. I've never seen more people dance at any wedding ever. My unsolicited advice is to NOT give your DJ a huge list of 'must play' songs, let the DJ read your crowd and play whatever makes guests dance, enjoy themselves and have fun!
Music sets the tone for your reception and can mean the difference between guests sneaking out early to go home or staying late to enjoy the entire evening you planned!

We had Miles as our DJ and he was awesome! We found him at the Bridal Expo in Austin and got a sampling of what he could do there and were sold. When we met with him, he was very professional and detailed and created a reception timeline on the spot. We booked him very shortly after that meeting. Texas Pro DJ has an online system where you can add music/song requests and can edit the timeline yourself prior to the big day. The day of the wedding, he showed up early, was set up and ready to go. Everything went off without a hitch. He kept the reception on track, played the perfect music, got most of our song requests in (we had a ton) and read the crowd really well. Anytime there seemed to be a lull on the dance floor, Miles knew exactly what to play to get people back out there. There was a great mix of music for all the guests, both young and older. He was also able to mix Indian music in, which was awesome. Overall, we had a blast and got so many compliments from guests about how great the DJ was and what a great dance party it was. One of our guests who DJ's was so impressed that he is planning on taking some classes with Miles. Hire Miles, you won't be disappointed!

Brad from Texas Pro DJ was the DJ at our wedding and he was fantastic. We originally met with Miles the owner and he was fantastic too. He went through the timeline of the evening, gave great song ideas and showed us there equipment. They set it up to where you login and can revise your timeline as much as you need to. Having the timeline made the wedding go perfectly. Brad even showed my 5 year old niece how to DJ. She had a blast as did everyone else. The music was great and we all danced the night away. I recommend Texas Pro DJ to everyone.

You do not have enough stars to rank Miles. He is simply amazing! We used him specifically for both of our girls weddings and he rocked! Each wedding was different but Miles knew exactly how to manage each reception. He knows how to get people up out of their seats and having fun! People have not stopped talking about our first wedding two years ago and now we have added another one! Some of our daughter's friends at the reception booked Miles on the spot for their wedding.

Miles was awesome! He came as a recommendation from my reception place, and boy I'm glad I went with him! Extremely friendly and professional. He mixes the songs (as the way it should be) which makes it much more entertaining than someone just pushing play. He knows his crowd and played it well. The whole Texas Pro DJ team was so great to work with! From the beginning with Noelle and Miles, to the nitty gritty details and wedding day with DJ Jamin, these guys remind you that this is YOUR day to enjoy and celebrate. Jamin was so accommodating with our special cuts of songs and last minute details that weren't necessarily discussed before.. but that being said, the website makes it SO easy to make your playlist. I knew my wedding wouldn't be a "packed dance floor, all night long " type of night, but when my friends, family and I were out on the dance floor, you better be sure we were having the BEST time! BRAD IS AWESOME. I had such a great experience with Brad from TX Pro DJ. We first met with Miles at the Dub Academy and were totally impressed by the turn tables and all of that technical DJ stuff that I know nothing about. These guys are not typical wedding DJ's. They are "turn-tableists" and create the most amazing party vibe for the wedding. We chose Brad based on his bio, which seemed to match our style, and after meeting with him to go over our vision for the reception, he totally did! He really made the party super fun and kept the flow of events going. The only little half point I took off on professionalism was because the coordinator couldn't find him when it was time for one important announcement and she had to make it herself, but that's ok Brad, I loved you anyway!

Had a blast with Britton!

Britton was our DJ for our wedding and we loved his enthusiasm and energy that he provided for the night! He was so friendly and sincere with everyone. He kept the music going for a great night with our friends and family!

Our DJ Anthony was spot on and the perfect DJ! One of my wishes for the wedding was to have a hopping dance floor and Anthony really made that happen. We are still getting compliments on our music and DJ! Brad kept the dance floor packed all night. Michael Roos personally picked us out at the Wedding Extravaganza. We're glad he did. He helped us create a timeline for the wedding, which was essential to the rest of our planning. His personality and variety of music suited us perfectly. He feeds off of the crowd to keep the event exciting and running smoothly. Miles, CEO of the company, was our DJ. He was a bit more expensive than we wanted to spend, but he charmed both mothers at the Bridal Extravaganza and they would not let me book anyone else! Their website is very easy to use to make payments and select music. My husband gave Miles far too much music to work with, but Miles did such a good job of reading the crowd and selecting the best music for the night. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! I think the emptiest the dance floor was was about 40 people! His expertise and craft were totally worth the price because his blending of songs meant there was never a lull. He will charm the pants off of you, your family, and all of your guests, too!

We chose Texas Pro DJ as the DJ for our wedding and we were very pleased with the results. Miles was very professional and friendly throughout the entire process and he did a great job during the reception. He played most of our requests and he even helped organize our guests and get them to where they needed to be. We recommend Texas Pro DJ for any event!

Miles from Texas Pro DJ was a great choice for my wedding. He was lively and fun, creating a great atmosphere. He really helped with putting a time line in place. The few planning sessions that we had with him led me to feel completely confident in his team to create the mood that we wanted for our wedding. We had a great time dancing the night away. I would certainly use him again.

Andrew was great! He provided music for both ceremony and reception. Great job mixing the music - We wanted a mostly hip hop vibe and had a number of guests tell us how awesome the mixing was - even my metalhead brother! \m/
We went over the ceremony music and general timeline over the phone a few days before the wedding, which was helpful. Great DJ, highly recommend.

Brad from Texas Pro DJ was awesome! He was worth every penny. Texas Pro DJ is the best in Austin so you definitely pay more than with other companies. My husband and I had no idea what to request that would get people on the dance floor. Brad was awesome at judging the crowd---playing older songs in the beginning and switching to music for "younger people" after awhile. There were so many people on the dance floor; it was amazing. Every song played, we all liked. He did a great job announcing things when we asked him to. My only criticism was that sometimes he was a little slow on getting back to emails, but he still did a great job. When we left our wedding, my husband turned to me and said, "I'm so glad we hired that DJ."

Anthony was the best DJ ever!! We had 135 guests at our wedding and I don't think anyone stayed in their seats, everyone was on the dance floor! Anthony knew how to perfectly transition songs, switched between new top hits to oldies but goodies, that kept the party going all night long. He exceeded my expectations and we could not have been happier. Texas Pro DJ can be a little pricey compared to other DJs out there, but you definitely get what you pay for, and that is excellence!! I wish we were still on the dance floor!

Texas Pro DJ was the loudest and most impressive DJ at the bridal event, so of course my daughter had to have them for her wedding.
Jammin was good at providing the timeline and resources for music for my daughter and son in law. They have great software to make the timeline and provide details to the dj to make the evening go smoother.
But it took a couple of tries to get Jammin to communicate with my venue about space issues for the SLO motion video.
His assistant was awesome at following up with details needed proof to the reception tho!
Also they changed DJs on us with no communication. As it turned out, Anthony was a terrific DJ. I had no problems with him once I got over the communication issue. He did the ceremony music with perfect timing. He was really flexible when the photographs took longer than expected. He read the crowd well and kept the dance floor full. It was a great reception. And the slo motion video, while pricey, was a huge hit! The woman running it was awesome.
So the reception was awesome, the wedding music and timing at the event was perfect.
Glad we went with them.

Texas Pro DJ was fantastic. I know two other brides who used them and the service is always top notch and they did a great job putting together the music that we wanted. The ONLY reason I did not give them a full five star review is because several guests (the table seated closest to the DJ) reported that he was heard, several times, complaining to the wedding coordinator, that he really didn't like the music we chose. Now, he could have just been trying to flirt with her (she is a super cute woman) but I was extremely agitated to hear this because it doesn't really matter how he feels about our music selection because it wasn't HIS wedding! Now, he still played what we wanted, and was flexible when I made a request. And our guests danced all night! So it was a hit, minus that one thing. I would recommend them for any wedding or event.

I worked with Nick for my wedding. Texas pro DJ is very professional but a bit expensive. I worked with Nick he is pretty good but I just don't think he got my vibe. We discussed what kind of music I would like and he said he totally knew what to do. But he ended up playing some songs from a genera I specifically told him not to play. I would recommend meeting your dj before you decide on a vendor. The music is SO important and I think you just really need to click with your dj.

In the beginning, TexasProDJ was great. They brought me and my husband in for a demo and we were extremely impressed. My husband loved that they had an actual turn table and that is what sold us so we booked right then and there. We loved having the ability to set our playlist through their website as well as choose songs to go on the do not playlist as there were some we knew we definitely would not want to hear. Starting out, the communication was great and they were always quick to respond. Unfortunately, a few weeks before our wedding, communication stopped. I sent a couple emails with questions as well as wanted to confirm details but never received a response. I missed a call due to being at work and left a message when I returned the call. I never received a call back so I called again a few days later to follow up. I was told that he was in the middle of a meeting and would call me back. However, I never did receive a call back and it wasn't until my husband called the main office number that we received any response to my questions and confirmation of details. As a type A person, this stressed me out but I was thankful to finally hear back. Our DJ for the night of overall did a great job. He did play a few songs that were on our do not playlist but everyone had a great time dancing the night away. The lack of communication is why they do not get a full 5 star rating.

It was very expensive, but we waited to long to book a DJ. The contact person waited until a few days before my wedding to call me back after three weeks of calling him twice a week. The DJ however was super friendly and professional. Once he understood what we wanted him to do, he did a great job. Book your DJ ASAP!!

Miles definitely had us impressed as he walked us through the details of our wedding. He had everything down to a T.
Their website is easy to use to pick your songs, and give the DJ details.
The DJ that played our wedding did a great job with the general music detail we gave him for our cocktail hour. The dance portion went as planned with the songs we requested, just was hoping he had played a couple of other genres of songs that we had talked about. That is definitely not a detractor from their service.
The only thing I did not love is that I wish they would have been a little more communicative about who our DJ was. We only found out about a week before the wedding, and I had to contact them to find out the protocol for him getting in contact with us.
Other than that, everything was great.

Sadly disappointed

I’m so sad to even have to write this review..but everyone thought i was crazy to pay $4250 for a DJ but it was something I was willing to splurge on because music was the last thing I wanted to be ‘worried’ about on our special day. I assumed paying for a senior DJ meant that person would be experienced & make the process run that much smoother. But nope, wasn’t the case. Brad showed up and was not friendly whatsoever, almost made me cry because it decided to rain 30 minutes before the ceremony and threatened to not set his stuff up outside. He forgot an extension cord. Cocktail hour music just never happened. He messed up the father/daughter song (and said I had it wrong on the sheet I submitted to them but I even went and double checked after the wedding and I submitted everything correctly). He hardly played any of the requests we submitted on the portal, except he made sure to play ‘if i had a million $’ twice which is a noticeable song to play more than once (as it’s from the 90s). And then towards the end of the night my aunt requested a song and he refused so my dad had to tip him $100 to play it (like seriously?)...I had so many guests tell me after the wedding that our DJ was unfriendly & didn’t do that great of a job. So clearly learned my lesson that paying for a ‘senior’ DJ doesn’t necessarily mean they will be awesome and a vendor you can feel confident about. My family was really upset for me but at this point I’m just disappointed. Because Noelle (the lady I was in contact with throughout the process) was SO helpful & awesome and I really believed in this company as I’d heard great things...but our experience was terrible. I can’t find any reviews about Brad (good or bad) so I’m not sure of others’ experiences with him in particular. Maybe he was just having a bad day? Regardless, I shouldn’t have to be making excuses to justify his attitude/actions/notable mistakes..specially for a ‘senior’ DJ with years of experience.

We found TxPro DJ a couple weeks before our wedding, and explained to Miles how worried we were that the DJ company we'd chosen previously was unprofessional in our meeting We were so clear about wanting to meet our exact DJ and explain how we wanted the night to go. The Thurs. before our Sunday wedding, were told the guy we met was "sick" (and would be until Sunday) so we'd have a different person. At that point there was no way we had time to meet him. At the wedding, he played music over my uncle's acapela performance, mispronounced 5 of the 8 names during introductions to the dining room, was SO disrespectful to my coordinator (and bridesmaids)-talking down to them the entire time ... He came unprepared and had to borrow the iPod from my Dad's truck, which wasn't returned until 3 weeks after the wedding when I had to drive into their offices to pick it up. When I shook his hand for the first time after the ceremony he said "I have known who you were for a while now," which I thought was so strange. He played club music throughout the dance portion of the night, completely ignoring the list I made. And he flirted inappropriatly with a certain guest who he later became Facebook friends with and commented (also inappropriately) on her photos from the wedding.

Miles appologized about our lack of service and offered to DJ another event for us. I'm not sure when I'd have another huge party where I'd need a professional DJ, but we would love redemption for the one part of our wedding that was less than perfect.

Our wedding was at the Driskill Hotel in Austin and we received a recommendation from the hotel to use Texas Pro DJ. We were very excited and confident about our choice since this was recommended to us by the hotel. Why would the venue where we are having our wedding and paying a fortune for recommend someone that was not quality?

Two days before the wedding we met with Miles (who was awesome) and went over our music selections. We had a very extensive "do not play list" that included all the typical reception songs like "Play that funky music white boy." We expressed over and over how we did not want this type of music played. We went over the song we wanted our wedding party to enter to and the song we wanted to enter to as well as our first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son dance songs. We also picked songs for throwing the garter and the bouquet toss where I expressed that I did not want the Beyonce "Put a ring on it" song played during the toss. We also made a point to say that there would be no requests for songs during the reception and my husband did not want the guys to do his Frat chant. We both felt very comfortable and confident after meeting with Miles that everything would be taken care of. The only problem was Miles was not the DJ for our reception, Nick was.

After our ceremony we arrived at the Driskill and Nick met us downstairs asking what songs we wanted to enter to. This worried me a bit since he should have already known this. We told him we wanted to enter to "I'm sexy and I know it." Well, he runs upstairs, comes back down, and asks if it would be ok to enter to "I'm too sexy for my shirt." Are you serious???????? I was really starting to freak out and my husband said absolutely not. Nick ran back upstairs and downloaded the song or magically found it or something. Our wedding party entered to nothing (which we had chosen a particular song for them with Miles). When it came to our cocktail/eating music we had requested that it be a mix of Sinatra, Micheal Buble, classic jazz type music of the 40's or music that sounded similar. He played a few songs from that genre but mostly soul jazz songs that we had never heard and were nothing like what we had discussed.

When it came time for our dances, he did not know what our songs were and had to ask numerous times. He not only cut off our first dance song but also my dance with my father (it was about 1 minute). Both of which we had spent time and money choreographing. After the dances he immediately broke into playing the typical wedding music we specifically said DO NOT PLAY. He also announced he would be taking requests from the crowd so immediately some drunk attendee requests "Pussy Control" to be played and he allows it. Thankfully I had a bridesmaid go up and request a different song to be played immediately.

The reception continued with this same tune. He of course played that stupid Beyonce song when I did the bouquet toss which only pissed me off more and my he allowed my husband's friends to do their Frat chant. If we wanted something played other than this typical wedding music we had to go up and request it. He would constantly find me on the dance floor and ask what I wanted to be played (which was extremely annoying since we said we wanted the "Top 40" to be played so we wouldn't have to worry about this).

He didn't keep the reception moving like we were told he would do. We frantically did the bouquet and garter toss at the end of the night because he never brought it up to us and we almost forgot (when we met with Miles he came up with entire timeline of how the night should go and said he would announce things when they were supposed to be happening).

I was very disappointed with the quality of this DJ. While Miles was great this DJ that works for him is not. It was very disappointing to have to pay so much for a DJ and experience this level of quality at a once in a lifetime event. I would never recommend this DJ to anyone.
