My husband and I had our wedding at Tetherow 6/4/2022. We couldn't have been happier--it's a beautiful venue with delicious food and great service. We also liked that the location was in town so our friends and family had a wide range of lodging options that were close to the venue. The staff (Jennifer, Cassandra, and Kat) were very responsive, professional, and helpful. We had a magical day, and everyone had so much fun! -

As a floral designer, I'm privileged to work with many venues. Tetherow is one of my favorites! Their staff is so helpful, their facilities are beautiful and well-kept, and their event coordinators are always on top of stuff. I love when a couple calls me to tell me they've chosen Tetherow as their venue! Highly recommend. -

We booked Tetherow for our wedding before COVID shut the world down and our plans started changing lighting fast, time and time again. The staff at Tetherow was nothing short of wonderful, kind, understanding, supportive, responsive and compassionate to what we were dealing with! The venue, food and service are *chef's kiss*. -

Tetherow was an amazing place to get married. This space holds a special place in our hearts now! Tetherow staff was helpful, responsive, and so easy to work with. The catering onsite was amazing! Our guests raved about the food!! The entire property was great for all of our out of town guests!!! I would highly recommend Tetherow to any couples looking for a venue. -

Everything about this place makes it the perfect wedding venue! The event coordinator was very easy to reach and eagerly answered all of my questions throughout the wedding planning process. The staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful! One of them even helped figure out my bustle the night of the wedding. When my bridesmaids needed to print their speeches off, the staff printed them two copies and even had them delivered! We all felt like royalty. -

Tetherow was everything we had dreamed of for our wedding! And nearly everything we needed was included. We didn't need to find vendors for tables, chairs, linens, or catering which made planning less stressful. The view from the event lawn is gorgeous! All of the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. So happy we chose Tetherow! -

We just got back from our honeymoon and are exhausted - so bear with me. But we knew we had to write our review of Tetherow first. I fell in love with Tetherow when we first stepped into the venue - actually as we drove into the parking lot. It’s a new, modern, classy place. Beautiful views and a beautiful venue helped seal the deal when we toured the place. We were at first working with Shelley but about 3 months after we booked our date she left and we finished our planning and wedding with Tara. Tara was amazing. Smart, knowledgeable, and never did I feel like they were just trying to make a sale, she acted almost as a coordinator which was above and beyond what we expected. She was always available, patiently answered all of my questions, and kind. Tetherow was beautiful, but every single staff member we came into contact with with friendly, kind, professional, and did everything they could to provide for us. We had our dream wedding thanks to Tetherow. I can’t wait to come back - maybe our 1st anniversary! -

Jessica Sent on 10/05/2018Overall, while its a beautiful resort to suit your guest's accommodation needs, Tetherow is a private golf club. Members are priority one and with seasonal staff, it's a hit or miss, inconsistent experience.
On-Site wedding coordination: 5 stars: Tara did a wonderful job following up and answering my many questions and requests. She went above and beyond doing her best to make our day special.
Amenities & Accommodations: 5stars. With a restaurant, brew pub and poolside cafe, there are plenty of dining options. The pool is amazing and the cabanas provide perfect shading and space. We loved the vacation home rentals and the lodges are beautiful. The ceremony site needs little to no decoration as it overlooks the very picturesque golf course.
Overall Resort Service: 2 stars. A few incidences lead me to this rating. First after discussing at length my guests golfing during their stay, the resort booked a golf tournament over Friday & Saturday without informing me. Second, once I noticed and shared my concerns about the tournament, I received a sorry but not sorry response. Third, I specifically ordered gluten free items from my baker who labeled and separated them for my celiac guests. The staff mixed up the bins and didn't label any of the cookies or cupcakes thus leaving many people empty handed. Fourth, the vacation home rental and check-in process is one of the worse customer service experiences I've ever had. I gave the house guest list to the staff 4 separate times and still had to correct it. When I asked for early check-in or late check out, I received the response they couldn't accommodate me and if 11 was too early for check-out, I should extend my reservation. This after my friend reminded the girl at check-in that I'm the bride. Finally one of my guests left his expensive Theory jacket behind at the event pavilion, and while all other items were returned, that one remains missing. -
